The bushes, the trees, and the very roots of the forest were wrapping around him now. InuYasha could see the way they were shackling his wrists, arms and feet, covering him in the same way the clouds veil the night sky, sinking him into darkness. Not even the youkai possessing him could escape the threading web of the forest; almost like an entity that was swallowing him whole, until nothing but shadow, cold, and the violent rage inside him remained.
