The Tale of a Vampiress
Chapter 48:
I've been spending all of my time prepping for war, I have been having mock fights with Larten using real weapons, he is teaching me how to fight multiple enemies at once, and how to use some lethal jumping attacks to take down groups of enemies from behind rather than facing them head on. It is not easy, but I'll get it, I am also training the wolves to work in pairs so that they can bring down enemies together instead of running around, and picking off random Vampaneze. I am sure that the other Clan members who have wolves will bring them along, most packs are trained to kill Vampaneze on sight, and retrieve their weapons before bringing them to us. Any extra advantages we get will help us,
I've been making masks with eye shields, and filters in so that the gas won't affect us as much, if I knew what gases they used I could find a way to neutralise them. I am making them out of spare material, and stitching them together by hand, the filters are made out of medical gauze, and the eye shields are made from a thick net, we can still see through it, but it should reduce the amount of gases that can reach our eyes. I have had to make masks for the wolves too, I'm not sure what affect the gases have on animals, but I assume that they'll be affected in the same way as us.
I hope that Larten and I survive, however I am expecting to lose some of my pack, it is inevitable that some of the wolves will be killed or injured, but that is to be expected in battle, especially in one like this. I remember when I lost Sasha, she gave her life for me because she refused to stop guarding me whilst I was on the ground injured, she stood over me, and gave her life so that I could live. I will never forget her or her sacrifice, and the wolves I have now are descended from her in one way or another. I have a deep bond with every member of my pack, and I know that they will defend me until the end no matter what may happen.
In truth I am absolutely terrified by the prospect of being on the front lines of a real battle, I only hope that Sarah, and Jared have been working on a counter attack that we can work with, I hope that they will not break their word, we need them to help us bring down the Lord of the Vampaneze or at least take out a few of his Guards, perhaps they could sneak us some of their gas bombs too, but we'll see what happens.
Gavner is due to return tonight, we've felt him searching for us to pinpoint our location, I wonder how many Clan members he's bringing with him, and I bet that all of the Princes except for one will be joining us too. If they fight alongside me as my equals then I'll feel safer, also they'll be able to see me fighting, and truly earning my rank as a General, every General has to fight if it is necessary, and do their part to defend the Clan from all threats.
I am glad that at least now I know some proper battle moves, before I had only learnt strikes, slashes, and blocks, but now I know all kinds of combination moves including lethal finishers, and I can use a lot more defensive tactics now too. I have been as prepped for battle as I can be, and I have been practising my moves several times nightly, Larten, and I have been sparring as well, he has been teaching me how to avoid being attacked from behind which is a useful skill to have.
"Anna, I have written you this letter, but please do not read it yet, you must save it, only read it if something happens to me, and I do not survive the battle, if I live then the letter will be inconsequencial," Larten has just handed me four pieces of paper that have been folded over in half. "I have also left a separate letter to this one which contains instructions for you to follow if I do not live, it describes the kind of cremation ceremony I want, and where to scatter my ashes after I have been cremated. It contains other information as well like where I have my money stored, I am actually far richer than I have led you to believe, I wanted you to prove to me that you are not a gold digger, and only with me for my vast fortune, over the years we have been together you have proven yourself to be the exact opposite of a gold digger, you are a very loving, and loyal Blessed Mate, I am so proud of you, and of how you conduct yourself at all times, if any of my mates were worthy of carrying my name it is you that I would give it to, only you have proven beyond doubt why you are worthy of carrying my name, and my blood in your veins."
"I'm pleased and honoured that you think so Larten, I truly am. Do you think I should wear my rings on the battlefield or shall I just wear my plain band instead? I don't to lose the stones if I get hit or something." my rings are worth a lot of money, the diamonds in them are rather large, and difficult to source.
"Take off your pledge ring, and keep your actual Blessed Mateship band on, that is the one I gave you during the ceremony, take the eternity band off too, those stones are extremely valuable." Larten is probably right as usual. "My ring is plain, it only has patterns engraved on it which match yours, men do not tend to wear stones in their rings."
"That is true, however I still have stones in my Blessed Mateship band, I hope that they won't fall out, I would be heartbroken if they did because you gave these rings to me, and they mean so much because of what they represent," I am always looking down at my rings, and admiring them. I can't help it.
"They are set differently to the others due to how the ring is designed, the stones cannot fall out Anna so you can keep it on, and then all of our enemies will know that the rumours are true, hopefully the mere thought, and sight of us slaughtering them will be enough to make the rest of the cowards flit before our wolves can chase them down, and tear them to pieces," Larten knows that our wolves will do their job. "Storm, get down."
My wolves are always jumping up, especially when they get excited, however I don't know why they have suddenly become so excited, they were settled down on the floor a moment ago.
"Larten, something isn't right, the wolves don't usually act like this, I think something is up, and they're trying to tell us," I know my wolves inside, and out, they only usually get this excited when they know that they're going hunting or getting fed. "Trust me on this, I know my wolves."
"I do trust you Anna, I never said otherwise." Larten is not sure what is going on, and nor am I. "Storm, GET DOWN!" it is not like Storm to act like this, she is usually so obedient, something is up, and I still don't know what it is.
"Open the door, let them sniff around, and track down whatever it is," I can't think of anything else to do. "Go seek 'im out." this is the command I use when I want the wolves to track down a Vampaneze in hiding or similar, but they have a different command for flushing out game from the hedges when they're hunting.
Larten has opened the door, and the wolves have rushed forward in a big group, something is definitely heading our way, it won't be friendly either judging by the way that the wolves are acting. Storm is pulling on my coat so I have to follow her, she's trying to show me something, and Blaze is doing the same to Larten so we're both running down the corridor with Khan in the lead, and Skye is bringing up the rear. The wolves are going really fast as if there's an emergency, but I don't understand how they know because I'm not aware of anything.
"Where are they going?" Larten is as confused as me. "Your wolves had better be right about this."
"Oh, they never act like this unless something is up, they're going down the long staircase that leads to the lobby, we'd better follow them," I know something is wrong, somebody must be in trouble or something. "Charna's guts Larten, the Vampaneze are here, and they're slaughtering everybody in sight, it is a massacre. No wonder why the wolves were going crazy, they must have smelt the blood or sensed something was wrong. ATTACK! RIP 'EM TO SHREDS!" this is my kill command for emergencies, the wolves will launch themselves at the Vampaneze without mercy, and kill them, my wolves are working together in pairs to bring down as many of the Vampaneze as they can. "We have to fight, we've got no other choice."
"No, indeed we do not have an option here," Larten has just launched himself over the second floor balcony, and right into the thick of the fighting, the Vampaneze have killed most of the hotel guests already, they were dead before we got here, and now our only choice is to kill as many of the Vampaneze as possible.
"Run, the Red Demon is here, run for your lives!" one Vampaneze has just shouted across the lobby, "Watch out for the Destroying Angel, she's just as deadly as her name suggests. She's fast, and her wolves will tear you to pieces if they catch you, run, run now, save yourselves!" The remaining Vampaneze are in a blind panic, just the mere prescence of us has terrified them, and my wolves have killed quite a few already, it looks like we have gained the upper hand in what looked like a hopeless situation a few minutes ago.
The main hotel doors have just burst open, it is Gavner with his legions, they've made it, and they're getting stuck into the unfolding skirmish, I'm fighting my way through the remaining Vampaneze as best as I can, and I've killed one or two already, but there are hundreds upon hundreds of them arriving, they're surrounding the hotel, and killing anyone who gets in their way, but Gavner's legions are well organised, and they're fighting back with just as much gusto. The hotel has been utterly destroyed, and there's so many dead bodies everywhere, I have got no idea what has brought this on, what is the Lord of the Vampaneze thinking? Is he doing this because we're staying here or what? If he wants a fight to the death I'll give him one, and the fighting is spilling outside now too, the Vampaneze who have flitted are being chased down relentlessly by Gavner's legions, we have to kill as many as we can, and so far we haven't taken many casualties, I'm doing whatever I can to slaughter whoever is my enemy, but I'm not used to fighting in close quarters, and it is hard to tell who is who sometimes, I don't wnat to strike one of us by accident in the heat of battle. I'm sticking as close to Larten as I can, we've got each other's backs, and we make a great team. I'm so glad that I have the skills to be of use in this situation, but the Vampaneze keep on coming, and this battle is far from over...
The following events happened a few hours ago...
We were in the heat of battle at the hotel, my wolves were doing their duty, and so was I, the fighting had spilled outside, Gavner's legions were working like a well oiled machine with him at the helm so to speak, but no matter how many we killed the Vampaneze kept on coming, we knew we were badly outnumbered based upon what Gavner had reported to us, but this was insane, and the Vampaneze who were attacking us had dark purple skin, they'd been battle hardened, and they were very dangerous, they were not afraid of Larten or I, and they were proving to be a pain in the bum to kill, although we'd taken a few of them down with the wolves helping us, we would have been screwed without the large number of wolves that had turned up with Gavner's legions, they were picking off the wounded, and bringing us their weapons so that they were no longer a threat, some of the wolves were also dragging our wounded to safety, and working alongside the Medics that Gavner had brought with him to get our Clan members patched up before they died from bloodloss or worse. We heard a commotion coming from somewhere, and what sounded like a trumpet, just then a large party of individuals on horseback arrived, they were accompanied by large dogs, and a few wolves were running alongside them, it was Jared, and Sarah with their elite fighting force, they'd come to help us after all, they got stuck into the fighting almost immediately, they all had silver armbands on, and they were well armed with swords, and Shurikens. I was glad to see them all, I knew the bond of friendship I had with Sarah was far stronger, and more reliable than it had ever been before, plus any ties she'd had to the Lord of the Vampaneze or his countless minions had definitely been cut. I was in the heat of battle, but I watched Jared and his elite force plowing their way through the Vampaneze, it was like watching like Jenga block towers collapsing as they fell, the dogs were doing a great job as well, they looked like Belgian Malinois or similar to that, basically they were war dogs that had been elitely trained, and prepared to go into battle, the dogs were working with the wolves, and in return the wolves were really making a difference, without them we have been screwed.
Eventually the numbers of Vampaneze were reduced enough for us to regroup, and plan our next move.
"Oh man, that was tough, I'm exhausted, plus I'm covered from head to foot in flipping Vampaneze blood, and their guts, they are utterly disgusting," I stated as I threw a bucket of water over myself to wash off some of the crap I was covered in.
"Better that their guts are being spilt on you rather than yours on them." Sarah added as we hugged each other tightly, we hadn't seen each other in years. "I've missed you so much, shame we had to meet like this, but I kept my promise to you, and so did Jared."
"I've often thought about you, and wondered how you were getting on, but it is clear that you've done an amazing job, your dogs are almost as good as my wolf pack," I was so impressed by how much work had gone on getting this elite force of Vampanets which is what the elite force were referring to themselves as, they weren't Vampaneze or Vampets, but something inbetween the two, plus they were fiercely loyal to our Clan, and its principles. "You really stepped up when we needed you, and for that you will always be classed as my allies. I'm a Vampire General now by they way, I don't know if you knew that, and that's not all i have to tell you, Larten and I are still together, but not only that he's my Blessed Mate, effectively it means that we're married." I showed Sarah my ring.
"I knew that you two belonged together, I could tell by the way Larten treated you, even when we first joined as his assistants he always looked out for you Anna, and now I know why, he loved you then, and he loves you all the more now," Sarah cleaned her blade, and packed it back into its scabbard. "We need to plan our next offensive, I think we should hit the Vampaneze camp head on, and make a pre-emptive strike."
"How many more Vampaneze are there? We've killed hundreds tonight, or it seems like we have," I had no idea how big their force was, only that we had been outnumbered massively in the beginning. "We can't do anything until the sun goes down, and nor can they so we've got some breathing room."
"There's probably another three or four thousand to deal with, but most of them have not arrived yet, and I've only bought a quarter of our elite force with us, there are far more Vampanets than there are Vampaneze so you should be not so outnumbered, especially now that we're here to help you out in any way possible,"Jared added.
"Well that's great news, maybe there is hope of defeating the Lord of the Vampaneze, and stopping Mr Tiny's plan after all," I hoped rather than believed this to be the case. "Let's get some rest, we need to recover our strength."
"Good idea. Viper, Bellatrix come." two of the war dogs trotted over to where we had set up our camp, they settled down next to Sarah, and she went to sleep pretty soon afterwards. The two dogs she had called to her side had obviously been trained to guard her whilst she slept, and I didn't blame her either, of course I lay down, and my wolf pack surrounded me, well almost all of them because I had lost Athena in the fight, and Blaze had been badly wounded, but he was still alive, I cried hard over losing Athena, but she had done her duty, she been killed whilst trying to defend Blaze from the rampanging Vampaneze. Blaze couldn't stand as two of his legs were damaged, but he was due to recover if he rested properly, however our biggest loss of the fight had been Gavner himself, he'd sacrificed his own life by knocking me out of the way of an oncoming throwing blade which I hadn't seen, it had struck him in the chest, and he'd died shortly afterwards. Larten was absolutely shattered by the news, he'd almost collapsed from shock, but when I'd told him how Gavner had died to save me it made him swear that his death would be avenged. I knew that there would be losses, but ours were small compared to the sheer numbers of Vampaneze we'd slaughtered, however if we didn't take out the Lord of the Vampaneze then all of the sacrifices we'd made would have been for nothing...
The night has fallen, and we're on our way to where the Vampaneze camp is located, we're going to attack them head on, and wipe out as many as we can, I'm really struggling emotionally though, Gavner's loss has hit us hard, and when the news gets back to the mountain I'm sure that the Clan will all feel the same as I do, I'm heartbroken, and utterly devistated. I want justice, and to avenge his death by slaughtering the one who killed him, then I'm going after the Lord of the Vampaneze myself, I'll challenge him to single combat, and kill him hopefully thereby ending this battle, and the War of the Scars, no matter what happens Mr Tiny's prophecy cannot be allowed to come true. Sarah brought a couple of spare horses with her yesterday so Larten and I are mounted now as we're leading our legions into battle, these aren't regular horses either, they're war horses with spiked armour, and they kick or bite any who get too close to them.
As Gavner is dead Larten will now be leading what were legions of Gavner's forces into battle, and they all want to avange his death as much as I do, in fact they've kicked it up a gear so to speak. As for the Vampanets they are just happy to be put to use, and they've formed ranks of cavalry troops that can perform leaping attacks, they jump over enemy lines, turn around, and the mounted legionaire on board strikes the Vampaneze from behind as he gallops past, the Vampaneze won't know what's hit them when we send the cavalry into battle, as for me I'm in command of the wolf units, they've been formed into pairs, and they're trotting along beside us, the dogs are doing the same thing, they've spread themselves amongst our troops so that every legion has a pair of wolves, and two war dogs working alongside them, we don't have many so they are a precious resource. I doubt very much that the Vampaneze will be expecting a pre-emptive strike by such an organised, and well armed force who're working together to bring about an end to the Vampaneze for good. The only Vampaneze we are going to spare is Cyrus, and any of the secret defectors who've joined us, they've been disguised as our enemies, but now they've revealed their silver armbands so we know that they're with us, it was the only way that they could get their hands on some of the gas bombs that the Vampaneze have made, and they have arrow guns too, but they're firmly pointed at the Lord of the Vampaneze rather than us now, or they will be when we get to the camp.
We aren't far away from the Vampaneze camp now, in fact in the distance we can make out their legions forming ranks, and preparing for war. I can also see the flames rising from out of their flaming pit of stakes, the flames are massive, and seeing it has made me think of when I took the Ring of Fire as my last Trial of Death. This flaming pit also reminds me of another of our Trials called the Hall of Flames, I didn't do that one, but I've seen it being done, it is nasty, but not impossible to pass as long as you concentrate, you also need to have good timing, and hearing to hear the whistling flames before they shoot up through the holes in the floor...
The following events happened an hour ago.
"Legions, halt." Larten ordered, he was in ultimate command, but I'd help out wherever I could. "All of you know why you are here, you are here to defend our Clan, protect our mountain, and destroy the chance that the prophecy can ever come true. Go forward now my legions, go into battle, and avenge our fallen allies. FORWARD FOR GAVNER; HYA!" Larten galloped forward on his war horse with Gavner's former legions following him, some were mounted, but most weren't, they were on foot, and running, but not flitting. I followed behind him in the second wave, Sarah's elite troops followed behind me, but she, and I rode into battle side by side as allies, and friends.
"See you on the other side my friend, even in death may you be triumphant," I told her as I rode forward, and prepared myself to attack the advancing Vampaneze. "Good luck."
"Same to you." she replied as she kicked her horse into an even faster galloping speed, she could leap over the Vampaneze front lines if she galloped fast enough.
"FORWARD. ATTACK!" I ordered, and my wolves responded immediately, they ran towards the Vampaneze front lines, and launched themselves on any enemy they could before they tore them to pieces, I watched the wolves, and war dogs working together, they were awesome, and the war dogs had extra skills which I hadn't seen before, they could carry messages, alongside medicines in a pouch they wore, and they were trained to alert the Medics to the injured who were unconscious by leading them directly to where they were. I saw them running back and forth non stop, they knocked Vampaneze to the ground, and ripped their throats out without question.
More of Sarah's forces arrived, and joined in, they were heavily armoured, and very hard to kill, their job was to be a prescence of sheer terror, after all they did look very intimidating, and they killed as many Vampaneze as they could, legion after legion fell, but more kept coming, amd then we saw them, the Lord of the Vampaneze, and his Guards, they were right on top of the high ground, and standing near to the edge of the flaming pit, they were looking down, and watching the battle, but not getting directly involved, they sent orders down the lines by the use of Vampet messengers, but very few got through.
"FALL BACK, FALL BACK! REGROUP!" I ordered. We had to fall back so that we could reform our remaining legions into a new shape, we were planning to ride directly at where the Lord of the Vampaneze was standing, knock him over the edge, and into the pit.
"Sarah, get your legions into an arrow formation, we'll be the shield for you." Sarah nodded, and got her elite forces into an arrow formation, her other legions had arrived to help out so she had plenty of mounted Legionaires. The plan was to ride in the arrow formation directly at the Lord of the Vampaneze, knock him into the pit, and we would shield her by galloping along both sides of her legions so we could strike out, and knock away flying blades, the Vampaneze had a liking for throwing blades which were both accurate, and deadly when used effectively. We had Shurikens instead, and the defectors who'd joined us gave us extra protection, they used their arrow guns to shoot down the blade throwers so as the elite legions galloped towards the Lord of the Vampaneze we would take less casualties, but inevitably there would be some.
"Arrow formation legions, attack on my command," Sarah told her troops who were just finalising their shape, and waiting for us to become their shield.
"Are you at the front of the arrow or am I?" I asked.
"No, Larten wants to lead the arrow, but we shall ride behind him, and at his side to prevent flying blades from hitting him, or we'll try to do that anyway," she explained as we took our positions. "Are you ready Anna?" If we pull this off we've won, if not then we'll fight our way out."
"I'm ready as I'll ever be, let's do it. FOR GAVNER, ATTACK ARROW FORMATION, ATTACK!" we all galloped forward in our positions at top speed, the remaining Vampaneze were mostly trying to get past the heavily armoured support forces, but they weren't getting anywhere. My wolves had surrounded most of them, and the rest were being chased down by our war dogs, only the Lord of the Vampaneze, and his Guards stood in our way of victory now, and, as we approached him at great speed Larten leapt in a death defying leap, his horse ran on, but he was able to land right infront of the Lord of the Vampaneze, the Lord of the Vampaneze tried to dodge him, but Larten was too skilled, they did not call him Quicksilver for nothing after all, the Guards had taken one look at Larten's death defying leap, and ran for it like the scared babies they were. I watched as Larten, and the Lord of the Vampaneze faught each other hand to hand to the death, but they were very close to the edge of the flaming pit, eventually though the Lord of the Vampaneze seemed to gain the upper hand, Larten performed his leaping death spin in an attempt to finish what he started, the spin's momentum worked, it knocked the Lord of the Vampaneze off of the edge, and into the pit, however the momentum of doing it was so powerful that Larten was unable to stop himself, he too was carried over the edge, and into the pit, I screamed as I saw him fall, he landed back first onto a red hot metal stake, and died almost immediately, then the flames consumed his body until there was nothing left of him, Larten had done what he said he would do, he'd given his own life for the greater good so that we could all live, the Lord of the Vampaneze was dead, but so too was my beloved Larten, my lover, my teacher, my mentor, my world, my reason for breathing, my everything. I collapsed, in fact I had to be carried to the awaiting Medics because I was in shock, and not really making much sense at all...
Six months later...
The War of the Scars is over, the Vampaneze have been almost completely destroyed, and the Vampire Clan is safe from Mr Tiny's prophecy, I have returned to the mountain for some much needed rest, and recouperation, the shock, and sheer horror of losing Larten has had a profound impact upon me, and I know that I shall never totally heal or get over his loss, I am in a stage of deep mourning for him, and the only thing which consoles me is the letter he left for me to read if he died, the letter says:
Anna, my love if you are reading this then it means I am in Paradise, and no longer at your side, do not mourn for me too long, nor dwell upon the what ifs, and whys of my death, but rather I want you to go on, live and make the Clan proud to have you as one of their Generals, I have left you all of my effects, everything I own is yours now, and that includes my vast wealth which you will find hidden in a cache behind my wine cellar. If in the future you wish to take a new mate then I have no objections, my only wish is to see you happy again so that I may rest in peace, I wish for my ashes to be scattered in the same place that Arra has her memorial stone, although you may also keep some in an urn beside our coffin, this way it is like I am next to you so you are not alone when you go to sleep. I have also left you a letter which you must pass onto the Princes for me, and tell Gavner to drink a mug of ale to my name, if however Gavner is also killed then I leave you to raise a toast to me instead, keep my Mateship Band on a chain around your neck, at least then it will be close to your heart, you must always wear your rings until such time as you decide to take a new mate, only then may you remove them from your finger, and place them upon the same chain that is around your neck. I swore that we would be together forever, but death has parted us, having said that I had a portrait painted for you, it is also behind the wine cellar in our quarters, it depicts us, and our wolves so please hang it up above our coffin. Tell the Cirque Du Freak performers that I have left them some money each, and a small gift to remember me by, they gifts are all labelled, and in boxes which you will have seen in our large chest, however they are not to be handed out until Christmas, and there is a gift in there for you as well, it will shine brightly, and sparkle in the light of the flaming torches, however you may only wear it on special occasions as it is worth well in excess of half a million Euros, but I paid much less than that, it was only two hundred and thirty seven thousand Euros, a real bargain considering how much it is worth in reality.
I have gotten you a small house that you may live in when you are not working as a General, it is in a lovely region of France where they make the best Champagne, and that way you will always have a supply of it to drink whenever you stay there, the key for the home is in the small box in our wardrobe, and there is no mortgage or anything to pay on it either, I bought it outright in cash to avoid difficulties with the tax people, it is yours to live in for as long as you so wish, the only things you have to do are to furnish it to your liking, and paint the walls.
As for your mourning period you may mourn for me for as long as you like, but when you come out of mourning I hope that you shall wear all red clothing again, it suits you, and it represents me so always try to wear red if you are able to, I am sure that Seba will have some things for you that you can wear, however if you find any fashionable clothing that is red then you can wear that instead.
In relation to my last name being yours you can of course keep it, and remain a Crepsley, but if you do decide to mate again then you also have my permission to take the last name of your new mate.
If you ever get stuck in a situation or are unsure of the best judgement calls to make then do what I would do, think of me, and the answers will come to you. You know me too well not to know how I would choose to proceed in most situations.
I gave my life for yours so that you can live a long, productive life as a General, I had always planned to sacrifice myself for the greater good if it meant keeping you safe, and that is in my opinion is the ultimate act of unconditional love. Had Prince Darren or Arra been in your position I would have done the same for them, and I would not have thought twice about it.
In relation to Jade I have left her a small token that she can wear, it is something that she can remember me by, although I do not believe that she will ever forget me, I was just too rememberable to ever be forgotten. I have also left her an inheritance, it is enough for her to live comfortably on for a good few decades yet, that is if she uses it wisely rather than blowing it on inconsequencial materialistic things. It is meant for her to buy clothing, food, and any other necessities that she needs whilst she is away from the mountain, I have also left her with enough money to maintain her wolf pack in case they need proper, modern veterinary care, and not the basics that we do here. I have done the same for you, and your pack Anna, they have been provided for, and I hope that you will keep their bloodline going for many years to come. You need wolves to protect you, and keep you company as I am not here to provide you with company any longer. I am however always watching over you, or I hope I am anyway, I am not sure how death, and being in Paradise works. I am also in your heart forever, and nothing can ever remove me from your memories either.
As for our physical relationship I have also made preparations so that you can satisfy your carnal hunger, there is a specially made device which is in the wardrobe inside a box in the bottom drawer, it is an accurate silicone model of my manhood, but it vibrates, and it has other settings on it so that you can still enjoy me even though I am not physically with you any longer, if my calculations are correct it should allow you to touch Paradise, and stay there for a few minutes at a time, just like I used to do to you, and you can use it as often as you like, it runs on modern AA batteries which need to be replaced eventually. It was the only way to get around me not being there to keep you satisfied, and I had one made for Jade as well, hers is designed differently, but it should still fit nicely inside her body, I did the same thing with yours, I had it tailor made to only fit you, and your natural contours. As for my fluids I have actually had some frozen, well a lot frozen actually, all you have to do is warm the cubes up until they melt, and then fill up your device, as you use your device it will release my fluids into you at a steady pace, but that depends on what setting you are using, hopefully this will enable you to really get as close as you can to what you feel when we are intimate with one another...
I am going to stop writing now, my wrist hurts. I hope that by reading this letter you will know just how much care, and preparation I have put into preparing for my death, I did not expect or plan to die obviously, at least not yet, but destiny had other plans for me I am afraid, and I knew I had to be ready just in case I did have to leave your side prematurely. All I can say now is to remind of how much I am besotted by you, and that will never, ever change. Death may have taken me from your side, but at least we shared a good few decades together, and those memories will stay with you long after I am gone.
If you can I want you to avenge my death, and get justice for me, this way I truly can be at peace if my killer is dead too, it also means that he or she cannot harm you which will be a weight off of my mind.
I shall love you for always, and forever my beloved Destroying Angel, you are mine, and I am yours...
I have read the letter several times, and whenever I do I can hear Larten's voice in my head reading it to me, I am glad that he learnt to read and write eventually with my help.
I spend my nights doing my job as a General, and raising my wolf pack's new pups, they are the next generation, although they will never replace the wolves I've lost they will fill void in my life, and they give me something to focus upon. The battle claimed the lives of four of my pack in the end, I lost Athena, Skye, Flash, and Blaze to their wounds or to the battle itself, but I still have the others, and now I have new pups to look after, Skye was the last of my original line so I no longer have a link to Sasha or Shadow in my pack, but I took on Gavner's pack after he died, and his wolves do have a blood link to my original pair so I have bred them to keep the line going. I now have a combined wolf pack of fifteen which is Gavner's pack, and my pack joined together as one unified pack, plus the new pups so my total is twenty altogether.
My combined wolf pack:
Storm,
Artic,
Khan,
Diamond,
Kyra,
Jewel,
Midnight, Amber,
Glacier,
Kia,
Diesel,
Seraphina,
Tundra,
Blitzen,
Ember,
Flame.
I also have five pups who are without names, but they will come to me eventually...
The End.
