The whole Baroness bit is left out here. Maria, fiercely loyal to the von Trapp family, flees with them, but she never makes it to America. The story begins at the end of the war.

What the baroness has said to Maria has sunk in. When Maria faints under the pressure, the Captain is there to rescue her from her despair.

Rain isn't the only thing that keeps Georg and Maria awake at night. They're married, they want each other, and they simply cannot wait.

The Captains point of view after he and Maria danced the Landler together, and after the children went to bed. He's waiting for Maria to come and join the party. I couldn't really think of a good title for this.

It's 4 years in since the Von Trapp family left Austria. The war is over so they come back. Rolfe still loves Lisel with all his heart but Lisel doesn't feel the same way anymore so Rolfe makes a vow to himself to win her back.

This is sort of an interesting drabble for Maria anticipating the "main event." It's drabble because it's all of her thoughts running around at once. Should not be read by children.
