It was a cloudy yet beautiful night at the University of Goom. It was Halloween night at the University of Goom, and the university celebrated the occasion by holding a costumed party inside the university's gymnasium. Our lovely Goomba couple, Goombario and Goombella were currently on their way to the costumed party as well, each of them dressed in their costumes for the party.
Goombario was dressed as Gonzo Addams from The Addams Family while Goombella was dressed as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. The Goomba lovers smiled as they looked at each other.
"It was a good idea to dress up as Gonzo and Morticia Addams for tonight's Halloween costume party, Goombario. Gonzo and Morticia have always been a relationship goal kind of couple to me, so to get to dress up as Morticia with you acting as my Gomez just feels like a dream come true for me." Goombella told Goombario with a smile.
Goombario laughed a bit. "Yeah, same here, honestly. When I was younger, me and my family would always celebrate Halloween by dressing up as The Addams Family, and I have fond memories of that. My dad would always dress up as Gomez, and you cannot imagine how proud he was when I called him up earlier this month and asked him if I could borrow his Gomez costume for tonight's Halloween party. He's really proud of passing the tradition of dressing up as Gomez for Halloween down to me, and I hope to pass it down to a son of my own when the time comes." He replied to Goombella with a smile of his own.
Goombella laughed a bit at that as well. "I'm really glad I chose you to be my boyfriend, Goombario. You really are a ton of fun to be around compared to other Goomba boys who have shown attraction towards me." She told Goombario, the smile not leaving her face.
"And I'm really glad I chose you to be my girlfriend, Goombella. I haven't had much luck with the ladies growing up, so I'm really happy I was able to get together with you. I mean, you're brave, you're smart, you have all the things I like in a girl." Goombario replied to her, the smile also not leaving his face.
"Awwww, thanks, Goombario! Now let's head to that dance, shall we?" Goombella smiled and kissed Goombario on the cheek, causing Goombario to blush and smile while Goombella laughed as the two of them entered the gymnasium, which had once again been transformed into party central for this Halloween night.
"Whoa, they really went all out with the Halloween decorations tonight, didn't they?" Goombario asked as he looked around the gymnasium in awe, as it had been decorated with pumpkins, witches, spiders and spider webs, bats and any other Halloween decoration you could possibly think of from top to bottom.
Goombella laughed once more and grinned as she looked around the gymnasium as well. "You can say that again! I've always loved Halloween parties at U Goom, because they always go all out with the decorations every year! Not to mention, I love Halloween! It's my second favorite holiday of the year, next to Christmas!" She beamed before turning to Goombario.
"Well, how about we go have ourselves a Halloween dance, Gomez?" Goombella asked Goombario with a playful smirk.
"I'd love that, Morticia." Goombario playfully smirked back as the two of them proceeded to make their way onto the dance floor and proceeded to have themselves a wonderful time at the University of Goom's Halloween costumed party.
Eventually, the Goomba couple had left the party as they began walking back towards campus before eventually arriving back at Goombella's dorm.
"Well, that Halloween party certainly did not disappoint. And I owe it all thanks to you being there with me tonight, Goombario. So thanks for making this Halloween night one of the best during my time at U Goom so far." Goombella told Goombario with a smile as she proceeded to kiss Goombario on the lips, causing the Goomba boy to blush once more as he kissed Goombella back.
"Yeah, that Halloween party was really, really awesome. And like you, I owe it all thanks to you being by my side tonight, Goombella. So thanks for that as well." Goombario replied with a smile of his own.
"Anytime, Goombario. Well, wanna come inside and hang out for a bit before it's time to go to bed?" Goombella offered Goombario with a smile as she opened the door to her dorm.
"I'd love that. Let's go for it." Goombario smiled as him and Goombella proceeded to head inside and hang out in Goombella's dorm for the rest of the night before Goombario eventually had to head back to his own dorm because it was bedtime.
Goombario and Goombella once again had a great time with each other at Halloween. Their beautiful relationship continues to develop, and will we perhaps see another chapter of this beautiful relationship continuing to develop? Perhaps we'll find out later down the line.
