Luke Skywalker, a farm boy from Tatooine, had just gone with old Obi-Wan Kenobi to his hut. They were talking about who Luke's father was and how he died.

"How did my father die?" Luke asked Ben.

"A young jedi named Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to evil, helped the empire hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights." Ben paused before finishing, "He betrayed and murdered your father,"

Luke looks down, not knowing what to say. "Now the Jedi are all but extinct… Vader was seduced of the dark side of the force,"

"The force?" Luke asked, intrigued.

"The Force is what gives the Jedi their power, It surrounds us and penetrates us and it binds the galaxy together." Ben informed.

R2-D2 beeps at old Obi-Wan and they decide now was the time to see the message that the droid had in it.

The beautiful girl appeared again but this time, the whole message appeared.

"General Kenobi, I am Princess Leia of Alderaan, Years ago you served my father in the clones wars. Now he begs you to help him with the struggle against The Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father this in person, but my ship has fallen under attack and my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed." Obi-Wan looked concerned about this news but the message continues.

"I have place information that is vital to The Rebellion in the memory disk of this R-2 Unit. My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see to it that this unit is safely delivered to him on Alderaan." She pauses before continuing. "I'm also sending an old friend of yours who helped you and many others during the clone wars," Obi-Wan knew exactly who she was talking about. And thank goodness for that, Luke needs to meet her since she wasn't able to when he was young.

The Princess finishes it off by stating. "This is our most desperate hour… Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope." The Princess turns and turns off the message.

"Luke, you must learn the ways of the force. And become a jedi." He paused for a moment before speaking again.

"Ah, excellent timing. Luke there's someone I want you to meet. She served your father during the clone wars and now, she serves you."

Luke figured it was this 'friend' he heard the Princess mention. he was expecting an old woman to enter the hut but instead a young woman… a young, TALL woman entered. She had blackish, red hair, and was ducking so she could fit the small entryway

"Obi-Wan! You here? Princess Leia sent me!" She called out.

Obi-Wan stands but Luke stays seated. "Ah, Adira, my old friend! You haven't aged a day!"

"Of course not! Meanwhile you're turning more and more like an old geezer! Hell, I think you already reached that stage!"

The woman was wearing sunglasses and a certain uniform that Luke recognizes.

"You're part of the Rebellion!" He shouts. Adira looks over at his way.

"This is him? Luke Skywalker?"

Obi-Wan confirms. "Yes, this is him"

Luke couldn't help but stare in awe at the beauty of the tall woman. He thought the Princess was beautiful, but the Princess didn't hold a candle to her standing only a couple feet away.

"Well don't just sit there looking like an idiot, stand up! Front and center!"

Luke scrambles to his feet and stands up straight. Ben couldn't help but chuckle at Luke's attempts to impress her by standing up straight.

Adira gets closer and closer. Until she is only an inch or two apart from him.

'She's really tall!' Luke thought to himself, the tip of his head was about up to her nose.

Adira looks down at him and he looks up at her. They lock eyes for what seemed like eons. She finally takes off her sunglasses and shows him her red eyes. The color shocks Luke a little, he'd never expect to see blood-red eyes staring back at him.

"My stars…. You look just like him…" She whispers.

"Uhhh… thanks, I think…" Luke says, he didn't know what his father looked like, but hearing her say that gives him some comfort.

"So what do you think, Adira?" Obi-Wan asks Adira.

"Meh, he's cute, but not my type!" She gives him a toothy grin, showing off her pearly white sharp teeth and even larger fangs.

Luke would have blushed at that comment had he not noticed her teeth. What in the twin suns is she?!

"You know that's not what I meant!" The old man says to her.

"Oh you old geezer! I was just joking! Yes, I think he'll do just fine!" she replies to him.

"Umm… excuse me, can I say some things?"

They both turn to look at the boy.

"First of all… who… what are you? And secondly, what do you mean she served my father and now she serves me?"

Adira sighs. "I'm a vampire, dingus! And secondly, exactly what that entails! I've been serving the Skywalker family for about 80 generations!"

Luke had a sense of fear and wonder in his eyes. "Vampire? I thought they went extinct!"

"Nope! Still here and kicking!" she said to him with a toothy grin.

"Ahem! If you don't mind, we need to go! We best find a ship and go to Alderaan!"

"But I can't go to Alderaan! I'm needed here"

"Says who?!" Adira practically shouts

"Says my uncle," he retorts back.

"Ugh! That old wingnut doesn't know anything!" Adira exclaimed. Luke paused, it's not like Uncle Owen didn't know anything nor was he a wingnut but he was very over protective of Luke.

"Still it's best I go home…" Luke says.

"Are you FUCKING kidding me?!" Adira shouts and Luke staggers back a bit.

"Calm down, Adira," Obi-Wan says in a commanding tone. Adira looks away, still angry, but doesn't say another word.

They all get onto the speeder and they come across a destroyed vehicle of the Jawas along with dead Jawas spread all around.

Obi-Wan concluded that they were stormtroopers looking for the droids.

"But if they found who the Jawas sold the droids to, that will lead them…. HOME!" Luke quickly gets on his speeder as Obi-Wan and Adira call out to him.

But unfortunately, Luke was too late, He arrives back home with it being destroyed and his aunt and uncle's corpses laying out in the clouded sun.
