"Wait so he forgave him? Just like that? Jeez, what did you do to the man?" Allen whistled as the group of wizards (and one witch) headed into Hogsmeade the day after the confessions.
"What do you mean 'what did I do to him'?" Kanda frowned in confusion.
Allen went to say something but was intercepted by Lenalee's swift elbow to the side and Alma's reply of,
"What Allen means is that the grumpy professor is going sweet on you"
Kanda blushed lightly - something that didn't go unnoticed.
"Something did happen! Allen you owe me a sickle" Tim grinned at the albino who grumbled and passed the teen a coin.
"So, did something happen?" Lenalee asked him gently.
Kanda scratched his head awkwardly and included the kisses and affection of the previous day that he had originally omitted.
"That's - actually adorable," Alma admitted as Lenalee squealed quietly and Allen and Timothy grinned.
"Aww wickle Bakanda's got a boyfwend" Allen swooned and Kanda growled,
"Bakanda's gonna give a Moyashi a black eye if he's not careful"
The kissy face disappeared instantly.
"Are you - together now then?" Lenalee asked carefully. Kanda shrugged,
"I guess? We haven't exactly discussed it" he admitted. Alma rolled his eyes in disbelief.
"You guess? Maybe double check that?" he told him and Kanda looked sheepish.
"Um sure. Will check that, thanks" he answered.
"Good" he nodded happily and the quintet continued their journey into town.
"I'm glad they caught Pettigrew though - it'll certainly change some of the prophecy I believe" Lenalee admitted and suddenly stopped as a black shape caught her eye.
"Yeah that is good news - oof. Lena?" Allen crashed into her back and the brothers watched as the woman darted off, rushing to follow her.
"Lenalee what are you -" Kanda called but was interrupted by Lenalee's reply,
"Help me catch the dog!"
It was only then that they spotted the hound. The dog from the prophecy? Logic clicking into place, the family gave chase through the streets of Hogsmeade.
"Gotcha" Timothy grappled the dog as Alma managed to transfigure a collar and leash which was wrestled onto the black hound.
"Now Black, be a good dog and come with us" Lenalee grasped the leash and pulled Black up towards the castle. Black resisted until Allen knelt down and mumbled,
"We've captured Pettigrew and they're interrogating him as we speak. If you behave, they'll let you off"
Black instantly stopped his struggling and allowed Lenalee to lead him up to the castle, the others following behind.
"Moyashi, can you fetch Lupin?" Kanda asked as they entered Hogwarts.
"Hm? Oh sure. Be right back. You're taking him to Dumbledore right? We'll meet you there" Allen replied and rushed down the corridor towards the defence professor's office.
"Lupin!" he called as he pushed open the door without knocking. He'd gotten quite close to the quiet professor and felt no discomfort in barging into the man's space. Lupin looked up from his lesson plans expectantly. He, too, was used to the albino bursting in unannounced. Though he was concerned about some of the questions he had asked him about curses and overlaps, he was quite fond of the young man.
"Walker. What can I do for you?" he asked, finishing his sentence.
"We found Padfoot," Allen replied. Remus shot up from the desk, his face lit up with hope, and followed Allen out of the office towards his old friend.
