"I am too drained to do anything right now, though, and I am unsure I even have the power to do it. But something must be done." Giles said.

"Maybe Amy could do it." Xander suggested. He was starting to feel better, but he was pissed and he wanted to tear into Willow. He needed to calm down or he'd say something he might regret. "She was born to Magic. She channels Hecate, I think. She might be able to do it. And you know, she could be our magical support. Since, if we do this, bind Willow's power, we're going to need someone else and I don't want to learn Magic, myself. Frankly it scares me."

"Me too." Cordelia said. "Between the damage Giles did when he was in his rebel stage and what Catherine Madison did to me, I don't want to practice it either. And Amy's not her mom."

"Her mom?" Faith asked.

"Catherine Madison. She body jacked Amy and took over her life, blinded me, set another girl on fire and nearly killed Buffy, using Magic, all so she could relive her glory days as a cheerleader. Seriously crazy."

"Sounds like it. This is one of the people B killed?"

"Killed?" Giles asked, startled.

"Yeah, Catherine Madison and the zookeeper were self defense, the assassin's were borderline, since she could have captured them and turned them over to the police, but that never occured to her. And she stabbed Faith, just to feed her to a vampire, which was straight up attempted murder, Giles." Xander said.

"She loved him Xander and he proved he loved her."

"Doesn't excuse her actions Giles and how exactly did he prove he loved her?"

"He warned her about the Master."

"Bits and pieces of cryptic info, that didn't actually help."

"He led you to the Master's lair."

"After I shoved a cross into his face when I found him in his apartment sitting with his feet up, shoes off, reading a book and drinking a glass of blood."

"He saved her life."

"Few times, yes. I saved her life twice the second day I knew her and dozens of times since then, usually when she's being reckless. I also revived her when she drowned while Angel just made an excuse why he couldn't be the one to do it. And you saved her from Catherine Madison. And she never bothers to thank anyone, except him. None of it excuses her trying to feed Faith to a vampire, soul or no soul, he was still a demonically animated corpse."

"I see your point. You actually had to force him to lead you to the Master's lair?"

"He said he was too afraid to try. He didn't look afraid, just casual. And you're being a hypocrite, Giles. Finch was an accident, which Buffy was partially responsible for. The Professor was because Buffy and Angel convinced Faith that that accident made her evil, so she thought she should act evil. Faith needed you more then Buffy did and she got jack squat from you. Being supportive of Buffy doesn't mean you can't also be supportive of Faith. And Buffy's actions are quite often more questionable then Faith's ever were. You're just not being honest with yourself about that."

"I will consider what you have said, Xander. You have made several good points. In the meantime, we should call Amy. Do you know her number?"

"No, but she lives with her father, Robert Madison and he should be listed in the phone book. I can call her."

"Do that, please." Giles was looking and feeling very disturbed over their conversation. Xander had pointed out things Giles had never considered before.

Xander hung up the phone a few minutes later.

"She says she'll help. She needs to get a few supplies from the magic store and will be here in about an hour. She sounded kind of scared Giles. I think Willow's behavior is reminding her of Catherine Madison and what she did."

"Catherine Madison was a black magic practitioner, Xander."

"And Willow's doing black magic, Giles. You didn't see it that way did you? Just like with Buffy. You have trouble seeing the negative in what they do. You make excuses for them. The way you favor them is annoying and hurtful, Giles. As Cordy pointed out, we all contribute. Sometimes more then Buffy, but you don't ever seem to notice that. Something else for you to think about."

"Yes, it seems so." Giles said softly.

When Amy arrived, they explained in more detail what had happened and showed her the healing injuries on Xander. Amy set a crystal on the table, centered herself and called on Hecate for help. The crystal flashed and she looked drained when she was done.

"It's done." She said. "Her powers are bound. They can be unbound, but I'd recommend being sure she can be trusted with Magic before doing that. And she's been doing more Magic you think, Giles. That took more then it should have, if she was the novice you think she is."

Something else for Giles to look disturbed over.

"Amy would you like to join our group? We need a reliable Magic user and you are certainly proficient." Giles asked.

"Yeah, I'd be willing to. I know what goes on around here and you have done alot to improve things. I'd like to help."

"Then welcome to the Scooby Gang, Ames." Xander said, with a cheeky grin.

"Scooby Gang?"

"Because we're meddlesome kids, who unmask bad guys. Though our bad guys aren't usually guys pretending to be monsters and actually are monsters."

"You make it sound like so much fun." Amy said dryly.
