Chapter 19: Love and Possible Permanent Truce
The Halloween party is just about over and up in Heaven the Holy Father turns off the Heavenly tv as He thinks, "I need to call my enemy the Devil to communicate with Him about what just conspired with our 2 families at the party."
God Almighty turning to the Heavenly phone attached to the Heavenly tv pushes a mystic button sending a call signal to His enemy. After a few seconds the Devil appears on his Hellish tv, "You should know what is happening with our two youngest children," God speaks.
"Yes, I have seen myself. We are different in nature but we cannot let them be miserable," Satan says.
"I agree I think we should begin procedures in establishing a permanent truce, an armistice." God says, "For the sake of our servant children."
"Agreed we will have a set of rules that we and our realms will abide by, "The Devil replies.
"It will not be easy at first but with our youngest children's future at stake I'm willing to somewhat end our fighting and also Hartwig has shown signs of reforming. I will lift my edict of him," God nods.
"Very well I will have my servents draft out our Hellish resolutions on our Hellish papers and you can do the same on your Holy papers," Satan says.
"Agreed, our youngest might have achieved Eternal History. Let us both hope this new accomplishment will not be at naught," God says full of hope.
The Halloween party down on Earth is letting out and as the Town of Walnut Grove is heading to their perspective homes for the evening. Sarah Alright is crying a bit as she mentions to Matthew, "I have to go back to Hell now but I sure wish that somehow we can see each other again as friends."
Matthew Ingalls agrees as he kisses Sarah to give her a little comfort, "Me too! I believe there can be a way."
Sarah kisses Matthew back, "Bye for now."
Also Bob Alright and Olivia Ingalls are embracing in a small kiss as Olivia says, "Bob, I trust our Heavenly Father will make a way for us to see each other again as friends."
Lee Alright is giving Lisa a goodnight kiss as Lisa says, "I sure did have fun with you tonight I sure hope we can see more of each other."
"Yes we shall," Lee says but thinking, "How can I convince my Master the Devil to allow me to?"
Just than the Heavenly Father calls for His Heavenly Family, "Al, Syl, Matthew and Olivia come up to Heaven for a bit I have something to share with you and bring Hartwig, Bob and Sarah Alright with you."
Yes Heavenly Father," Al responds.
The Heavenly family goes over to the Alrights as Albert says, "Our Lord wants us all to see Him in Heaven."
Hartwig, Bob and Sarah all express confused faces as Hartwig asks, "Why? Halloween is almost over and we will become enemies again."
"I know our Master will be angry for me saying this but I don't want us to be enemies anymore," Bob blurts out as he holds Olivia's hand.
"Me either!" Sarah says as she takes Matthew's hand.
Sylvia understanding the children's love for each other mention, "We understand children but we must follow our Lord's and Master's on both sides commands."
Lee sadly says as he looks back at the rapidly departing guests and sees Lisa who seems to be looking for him, "Sylvia is right children we have to obey our Masters."
All four children has sad looks on their faces but nod in agreement then Hartwig sadly lowers his head, "Let's go children."
The seven slowly depart from the party and walk a distance out of sight. The seven look up at the moon as a beautiful beam of light comes down from the Heavens and envelops the seven they all begin the journey to Heaven.
They arrive at the Pearly Gates as Hartwig mentions, "It's amazing I use to hate this place but now I don't anymore."
"Neither do I," Sarah says still holding Matthew's hand.
"Me either," Bob agrees holding Olivia's hand.
Al and Syl each nod their heads in agreement for them.
St Peter is by his desk along with Alyssa and they greet the seven after they walked through the pearly Gates, "Go right in, God and Satan are expecting you!"
The seven are in shock to hear that Satan also in here in Heaven?
All seven walk into God's mighty chamber and they are greeted by God, "Our children we have been waiting for you."
"Our servants prepare yourselves we are going to the corridor," the Prince of Darkness says.
The Holy Father and the Hellish father move together waving their hands and the group vanishes with Saint Peter and Alyssa following.
The group materialize inside the corridor that separates Heaven from Hell and Earth in between. At the border demarcation line in the middle of the corridor there is a long table that is covered neatly by Holy and Hellish documents. God is on His side sitting down. Satan is on the other side of the desk sitting.
On both sides there is an honor guard representing both parties Angels and Servants.
"My godchildren Matthew and Olivia come forward," God says.
"My Hell children Bob and Sarah you as well Hartwig come forward," Satan says.
The five step forward. Olivia and Matthew stand side by side next to God while Hartwig, Sarah and Bob come across the border to the Hellish side and stand next to Satan.
God says as He looks on at the 2 families "Matthew and Olivia, Bob and Sarah it's because of you and your parents that we saved both our realms and it was you our children that Satan and myself have decided to declare a truce."
Satan mentions, "Our children you have shown us that your new love for each other has convinced us to declare this truce that we all can live together without destroying each other."
God looks over to Hartwig saying, "Hartwig you have shown us especially me there is love and good in you. You proved this twice saving my daughter Syl and finding love with another at the party therefore I hereby rescind my edict of you. I hope your love of Lisa will bloom."
Hartwig smiles saying, "Thank you!" Now he and Lisa have a chance for their love to evolve.
Satan than looks over at Albert and Sylvia saying, "Al and Syl Quinn, you and your children will no longer face danger of obliteration in my domain as a result of this truce both sides will be open to come and visit without no hint of any danger."
Al and Syl are happy and they hold each other tightly and the children on both parties sit next to their respected deities they both smile as well.
The truce papers states that the corridor will be used for peaceful purposes and each side will have their best angels and servants to guard standing behind each sides border line. No side will attack the other. Also the children of both sides will have access to both realms for them to enjoy. Lee Alright and his family can permanently reside on Earth to assist if necessary to assist the Heavenly family in case they need them for help in protecting the frontier. Heaven and Hell residents will also learn to respect each other and each side will leave the other alone. However if in an emergency arises both Angels and Servants will immediately assist each other as allies.
After reading the truce God uses His holy pen that has a heavenly glow to it and signs the truce document.
Satan uses His hellish pen that is blazing with a little fire signs the truce document as well.
St. Peter, Alyssa, and two of Satan's head Angel's sign as witness.
After the signing God Almighty mentions, "Even though we both signed this truce we must all realize that there is still a big difference between Heaven and Hell. Heaven is about love and peace with all men but Hell is hate and war and that is why this truce agreement document is necessary. If at anytime the agreements in this document is broken then things will be as they were before."
Satan agrees.
Immediately both Servants of Hell, and Angels of Heaven cheer wildly! The cheers echo countlessly throughout Heaven and Hell.
Matthew and Olivia, Bob and Sarah come to the borderline each both pair of children hugging each other.
After getting out of their chairs standing next to each other on the borderline God and Satan smile at each other. Heaven and Hell are now united in peace thanks to the love of their respected children.
The Heavenly Father than says, "It's time for us to get back to our perspective places."
The Devil responds, "Yes."
Sarah Alright says to Matthew Ingalls as she kisses him, "We are heading back to Hell now but we will see each other in the near future please come and visit soon."
Matthew replies kissing her back, "Yes! soon"
Bob Alright and Olivia Ingalls are giving each a kiss goodbye for now as they both tell each other, "We will see each in few short days."
Both the God the Father of the whole universe and Satan the prince of darkness waves their hands and simultaneously God, St. Peter and Alyssa are back in Heaven, Satan, Hartwig, Bob and Sarah are back in Hell as well as Albert, Sylvia, Matthew and Olivia are back on Earth.
On Earth Albert says to his family, ''We have all had a long day I believe it's time to go home and head off to bed."
Sylvia agrees, "Yes it sure has been!" Than she smiles whispers something in Albert's ear nipping it at a bit, "Have fun tonight in our rooms?'
Albert smiles back at her as to say, "Of course!"
The Heavenly Family return back home for the evening to Webb farm.
