Chapter 5
The Ghost of Izumo Inn
In a darkened room, where the only light came from multiply computer screens as they surrounded a single woman that stared at the screen in front of her.
"Hmm, so many choices but only one seems to draw my attention" the women said pushing up a pair of glasses
The screen in front of her showed the four boys of Izumo Inn, Arthur, Ben, Caleb and Mike. The first to be analyzed was Arthur as he lay on the roof of the house.
"This one is well mannered and has much respect for women but he's too strict and his belief in magic doesn't meld well with me" she said as she switched to a different subject
The next one was Ben who was busy tucking in a sleepy Ku into bed.
"This one is very funny but knows when to be serious but his lay back attitude would be counterproductive to my work" she said as moved on
Next was Mike who was busy with Musubi, helping her do the laundry around the house.
"This one is promising and his kind nature is quite charming, not to mention he as two Sekireis now, but I don't feel like he's the right one that leaves…him" she said
The screen then opened a window viewing Caleb who was busy getting ready for work today.
"This one is smart like me while also honorable and mature, not to mention he knows how to have fun too…not to mention…when I see him…my heart feels like it's going to jump out of my chest" she said as she placed her hands over her chest.

"Hey man, can I get a refill over here?"
"Sure thing sir, I'll be right with you in a moment"
Currently Caleb was busy at his job at a local restaurant in the area. It was small but popular and always had nice customers, making a great work environment for all employees. Currently it was kind of slow right now which is normal on Tuesdays; it also gave Caleb some time to think about all that has happened up until now.
'Okay recap here, so last night Mike came back home with a new Sekirei named Kusano, also later that night Mike…winged her and now she "belongs" to Mike now…our lives have gotten so weird'
Those were the kind of thoughts that have been swirling around in Caleb's head as he worked. Of course that wasn't the only thing, some days, when he's alone, he couldn't help but feel that someone was watching him.
'…maybe it's just my nerves is all' Caleb thought
"Sir, my water please" a customer said jolting Caleb from his thoughts
"Coming sir!" Caleb called out as ran over to the table with a pitcher in his hand.

After work, Caleb had made it home feeling ready to relax and hang with his friends after a long day of work.
"Hey guys! I'm home!" Caleb announced into the house
"Were in the dining room" Mike's voice shouted back
Walking into the room Caleb was meet with his friends and Miya but strangely enough there was a stranger at the table as well, a ratty man with a white sleeveless shirt and black jeans.
"… Um who is that?" Caleb asked looking at the strange man
"Sup" the man said in a lazed tone
"Oh yeah this is Seo, the man who helped me find Kusano" Mike said as Caleb sat down next to him
"Okay then why is he here?" Caleb asked
"Oh nothing much, just wanted to check on the kid is all" Seo replied
And true to his words, there in the doorway was Kusano who seemed to be frightened by Seo's punk like exterior.
"Hey there's the kid, how are doing there squirt?" Seo asked but Ku just hid behind the door frame
"Seo, leave her alone, your scaring the little one" Miya said in usually sweet threating tone causing chills to go down everyone's spines.
'I swear she could scare the pants off of Lord Zed!' Caleb thought
Suddenly a knock came from the front door causing everyone to see who it was. Once the doors opened everyone was greeted by the sight of Seo's Sekirei , Hikiri and Hibiki.
"Hello is that idiot mooching off of you again?" Hikiri asked, causing said person to walk out holding two bags of rice.
"Mooch, what do you mean?" Seo asked in a playful tone
This unfortunately only led to his Sekireis beating the crud out of him once that was done both Sekireis apologized for Seo's actions as they walked away, all while Caleb just looked at the three with a look of confusion, all while Miya just giggled in that creepy sweet tone she had.
"That man, such a kind gentleman but he sure is a rascal~~" She said as the demon mask came back causing Caleb to shiver
Luckily it didn't last long because it soon disappeared as Miya walked back inside, leaving Caleb to let out a sigh of relief but still.
"Seriously! She would scare the pants off of someone like Venjix and that guy almost wiped out all of humanity!" Caleb said to himself as he walked back inside for sleep.

Everyone was now fast asleep, getting ready for the next day to happen but in the middle of night, young Kusano woke up with a need to go to the bathroom. Once she was done with her business she then went to the sink and started to wash her hands but when she looked into the mirror she then noticed a shadowy figure behind her, gleaming round white eyes staring at her. Seeing the shadowy figure caused fear to be etched on Kusano's face and before she knew it, she then ran out of the bathroom at top speed, not caring where she went just away from that "monster".
Meanwhile, Caleb slept in his room without a care in the world but his sleep was then disturbed by his door being slammed open. Shooting his eyes wide open Caleb saw it was Kusano and before he could say a word, Kusano then ran under his covers and started to tremble with fright.
"Hey Kuu what's wrong?" Caleb asked brushing the small child's hair to comfort her
"A..a… a ghost" Kusano replied making Caleb look in confusion.

The next morning everyone was gathered around the table as Caleb told him what happened last night.
"A ghost?" Everyone asked as Caleb nodded to this
"Yep, poor Kusano was so scary last night she didn't realize where she ran too" Caleb said as said girl sat next to him and was quite shaken up by this.
"Well, do you remember what this "ghost" looked like Ku?" Mike asked
Kusano then tapped her chin slightly as she thought about it.
"She was tall, wore a white dress…and had these big round glasses" Kusano replied which got a shocked reaction from Uzume.
"Round glasses? Hey that sounds like…" she started to say until Miya the spook up
"I don't think they need to know that just yet" she said causing her oni mask to appear and freak everyone out
After breakfast everyone went to go do their own thing, with most of hidden rangers heading to work expect for Caleb since he had a day off today, something about the restaurant spraying for bugs or something. So now here he was helping with laundry since most of it belonged to them anyway.
"Huh, sure feels like home now" Caleb said has hanged his pants up on the clothes lines
"Excuse me, Caleb" someone said
Caleb then turned around and found Miya behind him causing him to pause in his work.
"What's up Miya?" Caleb asked
"Well you've been working really hard so I decided to draw you a bath" Miya replied
"Thanks, I think I might just take you up on your offer" Caleb said
"Great, don't worry I'll handle the rest" Miya said
So with that said Caleb then head to the bathing area, where he stripped down and lowered himself into the water causing him let out a sigh of relief.
"Man, I needed this" Caleb said as he leaned back in the tub.

In the same darkened room, the mystery girl was looking through her hidden cameras all around the Inn that was until she landed on the video feed that showed the wash room and where Caleb was bathing. Once she saw this she then gained a somewhat pervy smile on her face.
"Well, well most of the residents are gone and my target is all alone, it's time to get myself a ashikabi~~" she said with a slight giggle

In the bath Caleb was busy scrubbing his hair outside the bathtub without a care in the world all while his mind drifted, mostly about the whole ideal they were in.
'A world where magic women fight each other in a tournament for, what's basically there life partner…why does this reminds me of Pokémon suddenly?' Caleb thought as he washed the soap out of hair
Suddenly he then heard the door of the bath suddenly open, causing him to gain a look of confusion on his face.
"Miya? Is that you?" I asked but got no answer
Now more confused than ever Caleb then turned around to see who the mystery person was but who he saw…was a shock. Caleb was in complete disbelief at the sight before him because behind him was a beautiful woman with burnt orange hair with long side plaits and orange eyes behind a pair of round glasses and was currently dressed in a white towel…and nothing else.
"What the heck!? Who are you?!" Caleb shouted in shock and confusion by the strange woman
But she didn't answer; instead she just took off the towel causing her very large breasts to be revealed causing Caleb's face to go completely red.
'Holy moly those things are bigger than Musubi's!' Caleb shouted in his head
The girl then leaned in a bit, making her a tad bit closer to his face which caused Caleb to fall over and start to crawl away from the naked woman.
"Woah lady! I don't even know you!" Caleb shouted as to deter the mystery girl's advances
It didn't seem to work as she crawled after him, all be it in a slow and sexy way as if she was stalking him like how a predator stalks its prey…and Caleb was that prey.

Just down the street from Izumo Inn, both Musubi and Mike were walking home together since Mike was released early from work due to some system malfunction at work luckily no one was hurt. Currently Mike was helping Musubi with the groceries that she bought for dinner tonight.
"Thanks again for helping me with these bags Mike but I can handle it" Musubi said but Mike shook his head
"Nope, as a ranger and your ashikabi, I will not stand back and let you handle all of this by yourself" Mike replied which gained a giggle from his Sekirei
Soon enough they found themselves at the front door of their home, with Mike's hand on the handle to open the door until…
"AHHHH!"
This caused Mike and Musubi to stop and look in the direction of the scream, one that Mike instantly recognized.
"That sounded like Caleb!" Mike exclaimed
"He must be in trouble?!" Musubi added
So without a second thought, Mike then threw open the door and rushed into house with Musubi right behind him. Once they then started to look around the area for any sight of their friend but found him nowhere.
"Caleb?! Where are you?!" Mike called out to his friend
*Crash*
The sound of glass being broken caught the duo's attention and turned there gaze to the entrance to the backyard.
"He must have jumped out the window?!" Musubi said
"Let's go!" Mike said as he ran for the outdoors with Musubi right on his tail
Once they made it outside they were greeted by Caleb on the ground with his pants and shirt de-shoveled, like he changed in a hurry.
"Caleb, what's going on man!?" Mike asked as Caleb scrambled to his feet
"Dude, you got to help me! There's this crazy lady after me!" Caleb shouted
"Sorry, but you're not getting away from me that easily!" a voice said
Following the voice everyone was surprised to see the orange haired girl that Caleb saw on the top of the fence, and still dressed in only her towel much to Caleb and Mike's embarrassment.
"Huh, who is this?" Musubi asked with her finger on her chin, puzzled
"How should I know, she just showed up in the bathroom out of nowhere!" Caleb replied as the mystery girl chuckled
"I must admit you are one slippery little man aren't you?" she said, pushing up her glasses, making a glinting noise, "but one way or another you will be mine, even if I have to tie you up kicking and screaming!" she shouted with glee as she pulled out a black remote with different buttons on it
"Wait? Where were you even hiding that?" Caleb asked in confusion
But she didn't answer; instead she then pressed a button on the remote and out of the bushes and trees in the area came small black drones, all of them with four helicopter blades, a single camera for its eye and an array of gadgets attached to them.
"Behold my Capture Squadron; they will have you in my grasp in no time!" the mystery girl exclaimed
Looking at the array of drones, Caleb then suddenly smirked at this which caught the mystery girl's attention.
"This? This is the best you got…sorry lady but you're going to need a lot more then this" Caleb said gesturing to the drones around him.
"Ha, please you can drop the tough guy act I know everything about you Caleb Temple" she said pushing up her glasses, "…and even with your advanced knowledge of swordsmanship you there's no way you can take all of these!" she exclaimed spreading out her arms to emphases her point
All Caleb did was just chuckle at this, as he reached into his pocket.
"Looks like you don't know me as well as you think you do" Caleb said which confused everyone else here, minus from Mike
"Um Mike, what is he talking about?" Musubi asked which made Mike smile
"Trust me you'll see" Mike replied, and they didn't have to wait long
Caleb then quickly pulled out what looked like a silver flip phone and flipped it open revealing a digital screen with a golden colored kanji on it that read light.
"Samurai Morpher! Gold Power!"
The kanji for light appeared in front of him, as he found himself surrounded by smaller kanji. The kanji's then whipped around him in a flurry, creating a black samurai getup, until they spun around him again now giving him a golden colored suit with blue accents. Then a short sword then came flying at him from the side until Caleb grabbed it by the handle and sheathed it in a sheath on his back. For the final touch to the suit the kanji then flew on his face and transformed in a golden helmet with a black visor shaped like a star shaped kanji.
Now decked out into his new suit, Caleb then raised his fist in the air, striking a pose as the sun glinted off his new golden suit.
"Gold is good to go!"
Everyone, minus from Mike, looked at the new transformed Caleb with shock, even more so for the mystery girl as her mouth hanged open.
"That's it, that's all get, not a "Wow" or even a little "What, what!"" Caleb said in "hurt" tone until he chuckled at this "I get it, you need a minute, what kind I say when I make an entrance it's go big or go home…am I right?" he said as if asking a question
"Wow, Caleb is a Ranger too!?" Musubi asked as Mike nodded
"Yep, more specifically he's the Samurai Gold Ranger" Mike answered
For the mystery girl, she finally closed her mouth and started to shout at the top of her lungs.
"What is this?! This wasn't in your file at all?!" she shouted which made Caleb chuckle
"Well a guy is entitled to his secrets, but I think we've done enough talking; now it's time for action" Caleb said as he placed his hand behind him and on his blade's handle and bent his knees slightly
Seeing the odd stance, the mystery girl could only giggle at this.
"What kind of stance is that, that's not even proper form for a samurai" She said in a "know it all" fashion
She then pressed a button on her remote causing the drones to hone their sights on their target, that being Caleb.
"Alright boys, get me my man!" she ordered
The drones then extended out pincers from hidden compartments and started to fly at Caleb, but the golden samurai wasn't fazed.
"Hey my style may be different but's all mine baby and you'll see it's got plenty of strength behind it now if were done talking…"

Caleb then grabbed the blade from behind him brought it to his side and gripped the handle in a back handed grip and…
"Barracuda Blade!"
Suddenly the sound of metal on metal was heard but Caleb looked stationary but once the drones passed by him he then appeared standing and his blade now only a few inches out it's sheath until Caleb then pushed it back in. Suddenly all the drones then sparked and crackled until exploding in a fiery display of fire and power, leaving both girls shocked and Mike looking quite impressed.
"What?!" orange haired shouted not believing her eyes
"He didn't even move how did he do that?" Musubi asked
"Oh yea he did just faster than the eye can see" Mike replied which amazed Musubi
Of course when the mystery girl heard this she couldn't help but try not to believe it after all humans shouldn't be able to move that fast, so as to prove this she then hit another button on her remote causing a duo of turrets pop up and fire two large fishing nets at Caleb. But before they could ensnare him Caleb then unsheathed his blade and cut the nets in midair, although they didn't seem be cut, but as soon as Caleb sheathed his sword again the nets then crumbled to pieces all over the ground.
"Is that all you got or are you done?" Caleb asked but this caused the mystery girl to sweat drop at this but regain her composer quickly
"Ha, not by a long shot!" she replied as she pressed another button on her remote
Just like before another swarm of drones then appeared to capture Caleb but this time having Tasers attached to them. Of course Caleb wasn't worried and charged forward and started slicing and dicing the drones to bits. Everyone was having a hard time tracking him since he was so fast, almost becoming nothing but a blur of gold as each drone was turned into ribbons. Caleb then jumped over the swarm and landed on the far side of backyard, where he then sheathed his blade causing every other drone to be blow up leaving the area littered with bits of metal littering the place.

"So…got anymore?" Caleb asked
The mystery girl then opened her mouth to reply but suddenly the whole fence then started to fall over and crumble into pieces causing said mystery girl to fall over as well and land in the pile of wood. Seeing this everyone just winced at this while Caleb then looked at his blade in surprise.
"Wow, this thing is sharper than I thought" Caleb said looking at his blade
Just then the mystery girl then stood up from the pile, all be it a bit dazed. She then looked around the pile that was around her and couldn't help but let out a yelp of fright as she then got down her knees and bowed.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for any of this to happen!" She shouted which shocked everyone around
"Then why did you try to capture me with your robot minions?" Caleb asked putting away his blade
"Sorry, I kind of got ahead of myself, I mean all I wanted was to make you my ashikabi" she replied
Now this caught there attention which caused Caleb to de-morph and look at the girl in surprise.
"Wait a minute, are you a Sekirei?" Caleb asked which got a nod from the orange haired girl
Hearing this, Caleb couldn't help but groan in embarrassment and got down to meet the strange girl.
"You know you could have just told me, I know Sekirei Plan, I would have understood" Caleb said which made the girl blush in embarrassment
"Yeah my bad, guess I got a little excited" she explained
So with a simply smile Caleb then stood up and offered a hand to the orange Sekirei, of course when she did Caleb then noticed that said girl…just lost her towel. Seeing the girl's bare body again caused him to go red and look away.
"Uh maybe but some clothes on first" Caleb said which made everyone snicker at this
"Hello Mike, Musubi, are you home?" Miya's voice then called out from the house causing everyone to gain a look of horror.
"If Miya see's all this were in big trouble!" Mike shouted in fear
"Don't worry man I got this!" Caleb shouted back brought out his morpher
Quickly Caleb then typed into the phone until the kanji for "Restore" appeared on the screen.
"Symbol power, restore!" Caleb shouted as he pointed his phone at the rubble
The kanji then flew out and hit the rubble and in flash of golden light the backyards was back to the way it was and clean of any debris. Just in time as Miya just walked through the door much to everyone's relief…of course that didn't last long when Miya then laid eyes of the naked girl beside Caleb.
"Oh, didn't I tell you that sexual relationships are forbidden here~~" she said in her deadly sweet tone causing the two of them to freeze up in fear.
'Oh gezz' they both thought with dread

So after explaining what happened, while also avoiding the ranger bits, both Caleb and the Sekirei were forgiven but not without a stern talking too. So here they sat around the table, as well the other hidden rangers as the newest girl introduced herself.
"Again sorry about that whole mess, anyway my name is Matsu" she said, finally getting a name to the face and had dressed herself in a lose fitting white dress.
"It's nice to meet you Matsu" Caleb replied as everyone said hello as well
"So Matsu, do you live her too?" Ben asked
"That's right Matsu is another one of my tenets here, she's in room 201" Miya said which confused everyone
"Um Miss Miya there is no 201" Arthur added
But as soon everyone was on the second floor of the building and were staring a lone wall…but then the wall then turned to reveal a whole room to everyone and Matsu on the other side.
"Ta da, pretty cool right?" Matsu asked
"Yeah cool and all but why?" Caleb asked
"Well you see I'm in hiding from MBI due to some drama" she replied
"And since my husband and her were friends at MBI we let her stay here…but if she keeps causing trouble we may need to kick her out~~" Miya said in her creepy tone again
"No Miss Miya I promise I won't every do it again!" Matsu pleaded which got a bit of a chuckle from everyone

It was now the middle of the night and everyone was fast asleep in their own room, but as for Caleb he was awoken by a strange noise. I sounded like heavy breathing causing Caleb to wake up and see what was making that noise. Of course when he did he was greeted by the face of Matsu herself and she was right in his face causing him to jump slightly and back up from the Sekirei.
"Geez, Matsu space please!" Caleb exclaimed
"Sorry for waking you but…in all the chaos that happened today I forgot to do this" she said
Then before Caleb knew it, Matsu then cupped his face in her hands and planted her lips upon his. As soon her lips touched, suddenly a brilliant flash of orange-golden light erupted from her back taking the form of wings…she was winged.
Once she pulled back Caleb was stunned by this, completely taken aback by the light show he saw.
"From this day forth, Sekieri number 2 Matsu is yours and yours alone, Samurai Gold~~" Matsu declared with a smile on her face and blush on her cheeks
'So this…this is what's it's like to have an Sekirei" Caleb thought still breath taken by it all

Once again, it was same dark room again, and the same old computer, the percentage bar that now showed seventy percent now moved to show seventy –five.
