'It was dark out, pitch black almost. The thunder erupted like an active volcano, the wind howled like the wolves her mother insisted would eat her if she didn't lose weight. The girl was 10 now. She was curled up underneath her bed, hiding from her father who had been drinking. He knew all her usual hiding spots, so it didn't take long for him to find her. He grabbed her by her hair and yanked her out, causing the girl to squeal out in pain.

"I hope you're happy now girl, your mother is going to kick me out because of your lying!" He screams at her, slapping her and causing her to recoil and land on the floor. She whimpered and covered her face, apologizing profusely although it obviously wasn't her fault her mother was kicking her father out.

"I'm not happy... I love you daddy..." The girl whimpered, curling into a ball and admitting what his wife had not told her. "She kept hitting me, and she wouldn't stop until I told her you cheated... I'm sorry daddy... I just didn't want to be hit anymore..." The girl sniffled in response, successfully removing herself as the target of her father's anger. He stopped, and in shock wrapped his arms around his daughter.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I-I didn't mean to... I love you..." He kept whispering to her, not that she believed him, not anymore. What she didn't know though, was that in his own messed up way. He did. He then left, now targeting his soon-to-be-ex wife with his anger. The girl tried not to listen, she crawled into her closet, and began listening to the loudest music she could find on her damaged MP3 player. Then she saw it, though the moonlight shining through her window, she found a razor. It was new, her mother must've lost it in here. She smashed it with something, careful to not make too much noise... and just did it. She didn't think about it, she didn't even flinch as she used the tiny blade to slice open her wrists. The only thing she could do was hope that she cut deep enough to make the pain go away.'

Annie woke up, uncomfortably. She lifted her hand and stared at her wrist, not a cut in sight. Somehow, it didn't look right. She sat up, brushing the tears off her face. She wondered when she would stop dreaming about her past life, her previous family. Inexplicitly, she missed him. Her father, most of his problems were caused by his alcohol addiction. Having a wife like her mother couldn't of made things any easier. Her mother and father divorced when she was eleven, after a long legal battle for custody. She couldn't help but think that maybe she would've ended up differently had she ended up with her father, but she didn't.

She crawled out of bed, and glanced over at Anya who was sleeping peacefully. She cracked a soft smile and looked at her hair, she noticed that it needed to be dyed again, as her roots were coming in and the color was beginning to fade. She quickly got dressed, she picked out a white shirt with a red plaid skirt. She arrived at the salon and got her hair re-bleached and dyed, and then washed and blow dried. The hairdresser asked if she wanted anything else, but she shook her head and began walking home. She loved the color it turned out. On the way there she picked up some shampoo that's gentle on dyed-hair. This would for sure make her hair last longer.

By the time she got home, it was 10:00AM, everyone was in the living room patiently waiting for the hours to pass by. She walked in and greeted everyone, and quickly made some food before they had to head to the school for the results. They arrived and looked all over the board for the results, and with a sigh of relief they both had gotten in. Only god knows how. Mr. Henderson and Mr. Evans really came through, and with smiles on their faces, they began heading home to celebrate. Annie also noticed that this didn't happen in the manga, but at this point she didn't care. She was happy with everything that's going on, and she had no intention of stopping now.

They went home, and were about to celebrate as a family when the door was knocked on. Annie walked over to the door, and opened it. There stood Frankie, holding a bottle of expensive wine.

"I heard you girls got in, we've got to celebrate!" Frankie said, and walked in. Yor walked over to introduce herself. "Oh, and you must be Mrs. Forger! I'm Loid's friend, Frankie." He said, and shook her hand. Annie shut the door behind him, and walked over to the table, they all sat down and began to chow down. Yor and Frankie both get wasted pretty quickly.

"And it's all because I swiped those answers!" Frankie announced, and Loid's face turned white.

"They can hear you, y'know!?" Loid asked, and then smiled nervously over at his family.

"Whatcha talking about?" Yor asked, her drunkenness really showing.

"Are you even drinking, Mr. Killjoy!?" Frankie asks, turning towards Loid with a disappointed expression on his face.

"I've been trained to drink without becoming intoxicated." Loid informs him, in which Frankie rolls his eyes.

"What kind of life is that?!" He asks, as Annie begins cleaning some of the scraps up, Loid shooting her a thankful expression. "You girls did great, I bet your pop would buy you guys whatever you want!"

"Don't tell them that!" Loid argues, and Annie laughs.

"I don't want anything, you don't need to worry about that, Pa." Annie insisted, and then looked towards Anya. "Is there anything you wanted, Anya?"

"Well... I don't want to get something... I want to do something!" Anya exclaims, confusing Annie and Loid.

"Well, I suppose. If it's within reason." Loid stated, and Anya got excited. She ran up to the T.V and turned on Spy Wars, in this particular episode, Princess Honey is abducted by a villain and Bondman has to save her.

"I wanna do that!" Anya announces, pointing towards the TV. Annie had trouble remembering this part of the manga as it wasn't all that important, so she glanced over at Loid to see if he had any idea what she meant, and he did not.

"What is that, exactly?" Loid asked, confused as he turned off the TV.

"I wanna get saved in a castle!" She exclaims, smiling brightly.

"No." Loid's response came quick, and cruelly. Anya stood there in shock, as Annie walked over and picked her up.

"Now now, Anya. Let's think of something more pratic-" Annie tried to insist, but Frankie butted in, drunkenly announcing.

"You monster! How could you! Now I'm not going to go to your fancy school!" He announced, feigning Anya's voice.

"Don't speak for her!" Both Loid and Annie protested, but then Frankie stumbled over to Loid, whispering something in his ear.

"I mean..." Frankie walks over to Anya and Annie, rubbing their heads playfully. "With how hard they worked, would it kill you to throw them a bone?"

"I'm not involved in this!" Annie protested, but before anything else could happen they were all boarding a plane. She watched as Loid fastened Anya's headgear, and then she fastened her own before getting into the plane.

"Do you all have your seatbelts on? Alright, here we go!" Loid announces as they take off. Annie can't help but stare outside, the twinkling lights below them. She couldn't help but stare in awe, and wonder... did she really deserve this? She looked down at her hands sadly, catching the attention of Anya.

"Big sister Annie, don't be sad! We both got in!" Anya announced, and Annie stared in shock. She couldn't remember her old name, or even her old appearance. She racked her brain but, she couldn't find any memories of herself... Only the bad things that happened. They soon landed, and they all piled out of the plane. They enter the castle, and stare in awe.

"We're in a cassstttllleeee!" Anya and Frankie exclaim, running throughout the empty corridors, their footsteps echoing as they ran. It did not take long, however for Anya to fall bored. She looked around sadly before turning her attention back to her family. Annie had a weird feeling, something was coming.

"What's wrong?" Loid asked, concerned as to why Anya suddenly stopped cheering and playing.

"... Can you really call a castle that has no servants or bad guys in it... a castle...?" She asked, laying it on thick. She looked up at Loid with shimmery tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm... sad. I don't think I can go to school now..." Anya insisted, but just when Annie was going to protest and insist that Anya had already gotten enough, Loid began calling someone. While they were waiting, Anya began exploring again.

"Psst!" A little voice whispered a few moments later, Annie confused looked around until she saw Anya hiding behind a curtain. "Big sister Annie, come here!" She exclaimed, and Annie complied, walking over and into the room that was behind the curtain. It was a large changing room, with various costumes, props, and accessories laying around. Next to the door sat a large vanity with a mirror attached. "Help me become a princess!" Anya exclaimed.

"Ah..." Annie started, and then looked over at Anya. "I'm not sure, Anya..." She began to protest, but then she saw Anya's eyes welling up with tears and she couldn't help it. "Okay, okay." She looked around, and eventually created a look. She found a golden tiara, and a light green dress with golden accents around the skirt's bottom. It had puffy princess sleeves, and she pulled Anya's hair into two curly pigtails, with her black hair accessories held firmly in place with hairpins. Anya stared at herself in the mirror, and then did a spin. After staring at herself for a bit, she suddenly turned to Annie, a determined expression on her face.

"You next!" She exclaimed, looking up at Annie with a smile.

"Wha- H-Huh?" Annie blinked in confusion before the words registered, she then shook her head. "But, Anya. You're the princess!" She insisted, hoping Anya would drop it.

"Yes, but we're sisters..." Anya said, poking the tips of her fingers together. "That means you're a princess too!" She exclaimed, and after a bit of back and forth she sheepishly agreed. Anya ran around, looking at all the tiaras before picking one for Annie. It was golden with with sapphire jewels embedded in it. Annie soon found a sapphire dress with golden lace on the bodice and lining the hem. She got dressed, and did her hair into a waterfall hairstyle. And then walked back out into the main room, just in time to hear Lid finish up his speech.

"Thank you again for doing this for my daughters, and this man here will explain everything." In morse code he told the agents to listen to Frankie's orders.

"Let's introduce the cast!" Frankie began, turning the light on to shine on Anya and Annie. "The princesses!" He exclaimed, and Annie pulled her hand up to her face and sighed in disbelief.

"This is the spy person who's gonna save me!" Anya announced, gesturing to Loid. "The big bad boss, Scruffy! ... And Mama... um... can be whatever." Frankie then continues, going off about how the agents need to get in Loid's way as much as possible. Before Annie could blink, Anya and Yor got into the elevator, and Frankie grabbed her wrist, dragging her in with them.

"H-Hey, wait!" She protested, but it was too late. She was locked in the elevator with them. "... I'm actually being abducted by my family. This is great." She said, sarcastically and then sat across from Yor, who was waving cheerfully at Loid.

"Save me, Loidman!" Anya said, 100% convincingly as the elevator began moving. Annie glanced over at Frankie with a bit of an angry expression.

"Did you have to include me?" She asked, and Frankie only gives a excited grin in response.

"It's already started?!" Loid asks, and runs after them, activating the other elevator. After a lot of obstacles, Loid finally catches up with them. Anya and Annie being kept behind a table.

"Bwahahaha! I'm surprised you made it this far, Loidman... but the princesses are mine!" Frankie yells, manically.

"Please, return the princesses... right now..." Loid says, slowly. Frankie laughing evilly in response.

"Did you really think it was going to be that easy?" Frankie said, and then snaps. "Meet Yorticia, the world's deadliest witch!" Frankie exclaims, Yor drunkenly swaying side to side as she walks. Before Loid could get a word in, he had to dodge a kick from Yor that was headed straight for his face. She kicked so hard and fast that it left a cut on his cheek.

"I'll never let anyone take them from me!" Yor yells, and charges Loid. Who had no time to attack, only to dodge. Yor's movements and attacks were which and precise. The only reason he hadn't been hit yet was due to pure luck. Then, something happened. Yor's heel snapped and she fell on the floor, instantly falling asleep.

"A most impressive performance, Loidman! But you have to get past- bwah!" Frankie is knocked out cold as Loid approaches the table.

"I'm here to save you, Princesses..." Loid said, his cheeks burning of embarrassment.

"Papaaa!" Anya cried out, running around the table and giving him a hug. "Everything's been so fun since I left the orphanage, all thanks to you!"

"Huh? Oh. That's great." Loid said, looking down at Anya with a soft smile on his face. He had to admit, both of these girls were growing on him.

"I'm going to work real hard at school." Anya said, but let out a squeak as Annie scooped her up.

"Me too, haha!" Annie announced, and then walked over, wrapping their arms around Loid. Giving him a hug.

"Are you now?" Loid asked, hugging the girls back. "Well then, I'd just say... congratulations."

The Next Day

Annie woke up, and glanced around, rubbing her head as she thought for a moment. She didn't dream of her past live tonight, does that mean she's going to finally forget it? That would make life here so much easier, other than forgetting what happens in the manga. She brushed it off, and stood up. She walked over to her dresser and pulled a white, button-up shirt over her shoulders, she also quickly put on a blue pinafore dress. It was 6:30AM, so she decided to go out and get some cleaning done. She wiped down all the surfaces of the house, the countertops, the table, the chairs, even the television stand. She swept the floors, the living room, kitchen and bathroom. And had just began mopping when Yor came out, rubbing her eyes softly. It was 7:00AM, but everyone had slept in a bit due to their late night at the castle the night before.

"Good morning, Annie." Yor said, and then glanced around the home. "You're up early, did you clean?" Annie nodded, and kept mopping. "I can cook." Yor said, and Annie nodded in agreement. Annie now quickly mopped, and then rushed over to the kitchen. Yor was struggling, and looked over at Annie with sadness. "I'm sorry, I'm not very good at cooking..." She admitted, and Annie laughed.

"No big deal, here. I can teach you. We can make something simple, like waffles to start out with!" Annie exclaimed, getting the waffle iron out and smiling at her mother. She then gets all the necessary ingredients out. "Cooking isn't hard, if you can read you can cook." Annie stated, measuring the ingredients and putting them together, quickly making a batter. She then pushed the batter to Yor, who stood nervously. "Now, all you have to do is put a ladle-full of batter into the waffle iron, and quickly put peanuts on it. Then put more batter on top, just to cover it." Yor did as she said, and closed the top. She waited how long it said on the thing, and then opened it. She closed her eyes in horror, as she was afraid it would come out horribly.

"That looks yummy!" Someone suddenly said, startling the two women standing in the kitchen. They turned, and saw Anya sitting at the table impatiently. Annie laughed, and then pulled the waffle off the iron, putting it on a plate and placing it to the side. Yor, with her newfound waffle-making ability, makes another, and places it onto the plate. She then makes enough for everyone else, with their favorite topping as Annie begins frying up sausages.

"Mmm! What's that smell?" Loid asked, walking up to the table, blinking in surprise when he notices both Annie AND Yor in the kitchen.

"It's waffles!" Yor said, cheerfully. She seemed much more chipper now, and that made Annie happy. Once they had finished cooking, they all sat down. Anya's peanut waffles were the only thing smelt throughout the house, completely drowning out the apple waffles, strawberry waffles, and bland waffles. Even the sausage scent was snuffed out by the peanuts. The only one not to complain, of course, is Anya. They all eat in peace, Loid and Anya pleasantly surprised when Yor's cooking didn't temporarily kill them.

"Alright..." Loid began, and then stood up, nodding at his family. "It's time to go get those uniforms." He said, and they nodded in agreement. Quickly getting up and getting ready to go. Once they reached the salon, Annie and Anya both had to get measured. Their heights first.

"Ninety-nine and... a half!" The seamstress exclaimed, and Anya smiled cheerfully.

"I grew two millimeters taller!" She announced, while Annie was being measured by another seamstress. She stood up against the wall and was measured.

"157 and a half." The second seamstress said, seemingly bored. She measured Annie's arm's length, and then her bust size, as Annie requested some undergarments' be bought. "Huh... 38 inches..." The second seamstress muttered, and then moved on.

"I still can't believe you're married now, Yor!" The seamstress exclaimed, as Annie walked back over to the group. "Why didn't you say something the last time you were here?" She asked, and Yor became flustered.

"Ah... last time, right... I'm so sorry!" She apologized, bowing slightly as the seamstress turned her attention to Annie and Anya.

"And to think your children are attending the prestigious Eden Academy!" She said, excitedly. Continuing to measure Anya, as she had gotten distracted by talking. "Your husband must be an Eden alumnus, then?"

"Me? No. I went to third-rate rural school." Loid admitted, laughing nervously.

"In that case, be careful." The seamstress said, with a stern expression falling over her features. "There's something of a gulf between the alumi families and the first generation families." She informed them, sighing sadly "I hear it can lead to bullying and discrimination between the students."

"I heard some of the commuters even get abducted!" The second seamstress exclaims, accidently scaring Anya. When they leave, Anya is completely on edge, and afraid. Annie scoops her up, and smiled.

"What's wrong, Anya?" She asked, looking down at her.

"I don't want to be kidnapped!" Anya exclaimed, scared.

"I think that's a bit premature." Loid stated, shaking his head as Yor and Annie giggled softly. "Are you mind if we eat out today, Yor?" Loid turns and asks Yor.

"No, of course not!" Yor said, smiling softly as they continued walking. They made it to a restaurant of Loid's choice, and get a table for four. They all sit and order, eating peacefully while chatting amongst themselves. Anya and Annie both noticed how Loid was staring at his food, strangely. Like he was reading something. 'But, honestly... This is a ridiculous way to communicate. I hate it.' After they ate, they gathered their things and headed home. While there, Annie and Anya began drawing together. Anya's artwork was signifigantly better than in the manga, as Annie made sure to have Anya practice her motor skills as well as her mental skills. Anya could hold a pencil properly, and even draw decently, one would even argue good. While they were drawing, the phone began ringing, and Loid answered it, gaining the attention of Anya.

"Hello? Fine, how are you? Oh, they're already done? Okay, we'll be buy later to pick them up." Loid said to the phone, and Anya ran over excitedly.

"My uniform's ready?" She asked, and Annie walked up behind her.

"Our uniforms, don't forget you aren't the only one who got into Eden Academy!" Annie exclaimed, jokingly.

"It looks that way." Loid said, and then turned to Yor. "I'm sorry Yor, but can you take them to the tailor? They need me at work today." Loid said, Annie and Anya shared a knowing glance, before pretending like nothing happened.

"Of course, I'll take care of it." Yor said, and then looked towards the girls "Better go get your shoes on, we'll head out right now." Yor said, and the girl's nodded in agreement, heading off to put their shoes on as Loid left to go to work.

"I might be back late, so go ahead and order takeout or something for dinner." Loid said, as he walked out of the house. After this, the girls headed out and in no time ended up at the tailor's shop. They tried on the uniforms to ensure that they fit properly. Anya's fit without issue, she wore a white button up shirt, with black shorts with a red necktie held together by a square golden ornament, with thigh-high white socks and mary-janes with a black exterior and a red interior. Overtop she wore the iconic Eden Academy dress. Annie, on the other hand wore a white button up shirt, with a black pleated skirt underneath, she wore the same necktie as Anya, with a shorter version of the dress overtop. Instead of white thigh-highs, she wore black stockings, with the same mary-janes. As Anya struck poses jokingly, she stared at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help it, she felt... wrong. She was beautiful, but Annie knew this wasn't really her. It was... some girl that she happened to be isekai'ed into the body of.

"Hey, you'll crinkle the clothes if you keep doing that." A voice rang through her ears, and she turned around, coming face to face with another teenage girl wearing an Eden uniform. Annie, confused looked down, and noticed she had been tightly gripping her skirt.

"O-Oh... thanks." She said sheepishly, turning and looking at herself in the mirror with a sorrowful expression on her face. This gained a softened look from the girl who placed her hand on Annie's shoulder.

"Hey, don't overthink it." She said, and Annie turned to face her. Annie noticed how pretty the girl was, she had shoulder-length curly blonde hair, with chestnut brown eyes. Annie couldn't help but stare. "I'm Elysia. What's your name?" She asked, and Annie smiled in response.

"I'm Annie, it's nice to meet you." She held her hand out, and the girl shook it happily. "You're starting at Eden... or have gone there awhile?" She asked, curious.

"I've gone to Eden since kindergarten, like most students. But, I know I haven't seen you around." She explained, speaking in a very mature, and elegant way. "I wondered who you were."

"Oh, well... I'm a new student!" Annie said, smiling softly and doing a soft jazzhand jokingly.

"A new student? But you're my age..." Elysia said, her voice trailing off in confusion towards the end. "You must've made a good first impression at the admissions interview if they allowed you to enroll so late." She explained, and Annie blinked in surprise.

"Wait, they only take kindergarteners?" She asked, confused.

"Usually, yeah. Most of the time, teenagers are set in their ways and unable to grow or change. Your parents did a good job raising you." Elysia joked, and then turned her attention to something she heard.

"Do I look cute in my uniform?" Anya's voice rang through Annie's ears, and they both turned.

"Extremely cute! We should get pictures taken of you and Annie once she comes out!" Yor's voice was heard.

"Your family?" Elysia asked, and Annie nodded.

"I should probably go. I'll see you at school?" Annie asked as she began walking.

"For sure!" Elysia responded, watching as Annie walked away and to her sister and mother.

"I want to wear this all day!" Anya exclaimed as they walked out of the tailor shop. While they walked, Annie couldn't help but think of the girl that she had spoken to. She hoped that they would become close friends in the future, as god knew she needed them. She also had to think of a way to get Demetrius Desmond to notice her. The best option for her is not to become friends with Demetrius, but have him actively pursue her. She put her hand on her chin as she thought. What was the best way to get the attention of a spoiled, rich brat who never had to ask for anything in his life? Hmmm... Then it hit her, as it was obvious. She'd just ignore him!

"Should we stop at the park?" Yor asked, glancing over at the two girls who were now the talk of the streets.

"Sure, why not!" Annie said, and they switched directions, now headed to a local park. Where Anya began running around and announcing to the people around that she had gotten a uniform. Soon, a crowd was growing.

"Wow, you must be so proud. First your older daughter got in, and now your younger?" A woman said, and Annie couldn't help but correct her.

"Actually, Anya and I will be going into school together this year. I mean, I'm going into ninth, but she's going into kindergarten." Annie explained, but this only got them more attention.

"Your daughter was enrolled as a teenager? What a shock." Someone said, others gossiping around them.

"I didn't even know teens were allowed to enroll."

"My son wouldn't even know the first thing to get in."

"They must've paid a lot of money to get her in. I bet she didn't even get good grades!" A particularly nasty person said, this angered Yor.

"All have you know, my daughter got a total score of 105 percent!" She defended Annie, who just got embarrassed. She tugged on Yor's jacket.

"Yor, it's fine... They're just jealous." Annie insisted and they all headed towards the store, so Yor could do some shopping. Once they make it to the checkup line, Anya runs outside. Annie quickly follows, just in time to see a man cover Anya's mouth, and just as she's about to protest, another man does it to her too. She gasps, and stomps on the man's foot. Earning a shove from him.

"Ouch, this one's feisty!" The man said, but then grabbed her by the hair, as a means to immobilize her. It worked, as who likes having their hair pulled? They're lead into an alley.

"I heard even the uniforms sell for a lot too!" One of the men exclaimed, the other grinning.

"Oh yeah? Well, then ladies. I guess you're just going to have to strip down he-" The man is cut off when a paper bag full of vegetables hits him, ripping to bits and knocking the man out cold. The man fell, revealing a very angry looking Yor.

"What... do you think you're doing?" she hissed, demanding what they're doing.

"Bad move, nanny lady. Now you're gonna have to cough up for his hospital bill too. Better pull out your wallet." The man said cockily, assuming that he'd be able to take the woman easily.

"I've just spent all the rest of my money... so it's empty now..." Yor said, glaring up at the man holding Annie by her hair, and the woman next to him holding onto Anya so she doesn't run. "But you're welcome to come and take it..."

"Then I guess I'll have to settle for every last stitch on your girls then... Hope you've got some place to go..." The man said, creepily running his his thumb across Annie's cheek. It sent shivers down her spine as this man reminded her of her stepfather, the man her mother married after divorcing her father. The man then picked up a pumpkin with his other hand, and pulled back preparing to hit Yor with it. "Cuz' you're definitely getting fired after this!" He exclaimed, but before he could hit her Yor cut through the pumpkin with her bare hand, shocking the man and Anya. Annie didn't show any reaction, she just stood there, silent but her eyes welling up with tears. "You... split a pumpkin with your bare hands..."

"I am those girls' mother, and unless you want to end up like that pumpkin, I suggest you run!" That did it, the group ran off leaving the girls be. Anya ran up and comforted Yor, who had become upset.

"I love my strong, cool Mama!" Anya said, but Yor stared past her. Annie had been standing, but now she was on her knees, tears streaming down her cheeks while she breathed heavily, her body trembling violently.

"Annie, are you okay?" Yor moved forward and went to touch Annie, who flinched at her touch and glanced up at her with fear in her eyes. Yor couldn't explain what was going on, but somehow she knew that fear wasn't of her. She leaned down and wrapped her arms around the girl, hugging her tightly. "It's okay, Annie... I'm here... I won't let anyone hurt you." Annie couldn't control her trembling body, and nuzzled her face into Yor's neck, sobbing uncontrollably. It had been awhile since she had a panic attack. Anya moved forward and hugged Annie as well.

"It's okay, big sister Annie... Mama will protect us." Annie nodded softly while sniffling. After a few minutes, they were able to get up and go back home.

"How about I teach you both basic self-defense?" Yor suggested, and Annie and Anya both agreed. When Loid finally arrived a few hours later, the house was full of 'hi-yah's, and he watched as Yor seemed to be teaching the girls how to punch.

"What are you doing?" He asked, confused by their behavior.

"Getting ready for school!" Yor, Annie and Anya said in unison, putting their fists out determinedly. It was just then that Loid knew that no matter how hard he tried, this family would never be normal.
