Ch . 3 The Surprising Change

1 Year later

On Izuku's fifth birthday Kevin and Gwen decided to take him and their son Tetsutetsu, Itsuka Kendo and Katsuki Bakugo to their hero agency to start training their quirks for so they can become heroes for a small birthday present and to hopefully distract Izuku's mind that today was the day he saw his dad die. Ben's death had weighed heavily on their hearts but they couldn't even imagine the pain that Izuku was feeling since he had seen his dad die saving him in front of his eyes.

Kevin looked back towards the kids, "So y'all ready to start training with your quirks to become great heroes."

Izuku and all of his friends looked up with excitement and screamed, "YEAH!"

Before Gwen could get a chance to tell them the rules everyone heard a loud scream of terror. Immediately Gwen's hero costume appeared on her as Levin touched a metal pole turning his entire body to metal ready for whatever they were about face.

Kevin turned around and told Izuku and his friends, "Stay behind us and when you see the nearest police officer stay near them no matter what, we'll show you how heroes work at a moments notice."

All of the kids nodded their heads and ran after Kevin and Gwen. As they arrived to the scene what they saw scarred them. Before them were civilians on the ground who look as if they had all senior citizens, but before anyone could question what happened they heard another scream and looked up to see a young woman get hit by a yellow laser which was making to woman look as if she was as aging rapidly. The woman went from young to old a with white hair in only a matter of a few seconds. It looked as if she was drained of her entire life.

Kevin and Gwen knew immediately who responsible and as they looked at the source they saw a man in a black suit with a metal prison helmet that covered everything but his eyes and mouth.

"Surrender Darkstar you know you can't beat us." Gwen said getting Darkstar's attention.

Darkstar looked up seeing the heroes and smiled behind his mask, "Ah lovely Gwen so nice of you to here and I see that you brought that barbarian that you call a husband."

As soon as the words left his mouth Kevin had launched forwards towards Darkstar changing his hand into a hammer ready to knock him out as fast as possible. But he predicted that and fired and energy blast that knocked Kevin back but before he could continue to fire more blasts he was hit with blast of violet energy courtesy of Gwen. Kevin got back up and launched back into the fight taking advantage of the fact that Darkstar was distracted at the moment thanks to Gwen. Darkstar turned towards Kevin a second to late as a metal hammer collided with his head sending him flying back into the street. As Darkstar got up he realized he hadn't absorbed enough power to take them on, he only needed one more person to be able to defeat Kevin and Gwen.

Just as Darkstar thought that he saw a little girl with green hair who was looking for her parents, "You'll do nicely now be a good girl and let me take your life energy."

Izuku looked towards Darkstar and saw the little girl crying for her parents unknowing that she was about to be hit with an attack from the villain. Before he could even think his body started to move to run to protect the girl before he even though it was as if his body started to move on its own. He heard voices calling out to him but he couldn't tell what they were saying all he knew at that moment was that he needed to save the little girl. As Izuku got to her he threw his right arm around he but as he did she had looked up and touched the Omnitrix making it start to glow. As Izuku started to shield the girl she looked up at him with worry knowing he was going to be hit with an attack that was meant for her. She reached out and touched the strange watch on his right arm causing it at start glowing green. As the energy blast hit Izuku a bright blinding light of green emanated from the Omnitrix before covering Izuku in it blinding everyone who looked at it. As the bright green light faded there stood shrilling the little girl was not Izuku but a big green sea turtle that was standing on two legs.

As the green light had faded the turtle like figure that replaced Izuku yelled out, "TERRASPIN."

The blast of energy that Darkstar had shot at them seemed to bounce off of Terraspin's shell confusing him greatly since nothing should be able to resist his energy blasts. Capitalizing on his confusion Kevin came out of from behind him and proceeded to hit Darkstar in the back of the head knocking him unconscious in one swift strike. As he fell everyone say energy start to escape from his body and went into all of the people he had drained rejuvenating them back to normal.

After a few moments a beeping sound started to come from where Terraspin was and in a flash of green, everyone say the outline of the turtle change back into and outline of Izuku. As the light faded there stood Izuku who looked towards the girl immediately asking, "Are you alright your not hurt are you?"

The little girl looked up towards Izuku amazed at what she had just witnessed that this boy who looked to be around her age and just jumped in to save her and had changed into a giant turtle then changed back as if it was nothing, "Yeah I'm alright but are you okay you hit by that villain."

Before Izuku could answer back Gwen ran up and wrapped him in a fierce hug, "What were you thinking you could have been hurt or worse."

Izuku interrupted his uncle saying, I don't know my body moved before I could think but I couldn't just let her get hurt." The girl started blushing after hearing his reasoning.

Gwen sighed, she saw how much Izuku was like his father, reckless, selfless, always rushing in to save others no matter the danger, "Izuku look I'm proud you did that but please be more careful next time if you didn't activate your quirk when you did you could have been seriously hurt."

Izuku look up at his aunt and stated, "But I didn't activate my quirk I think it did it itself to protect me and her."

The little girl then took this time to speak up, "Excuse me but could I have the name of my hero, My name is Setsuna Tokage."

Izuku looked at her and happily answered back, "Izuku Tennyson nice to meet you. I have to go but maybe we'll see each other again maybe my aunt and uncle could let you train with us to be heroes."

Kevin and Gwen looked at each other then nodded telling Izuku it would be alright but he'd have to get permission from the girls parents first. Setsuna's parents hearing the conversation after finding their daughter and thanking the heroes and Izuku for saving their daughter agreed saying that I'd be good for her to have some friends her age.

After all of the mess from Darkstar was cleaned up they all bid each other farewell and promised to meet up soon. Izuku looked up towards the stars smiling saying, "See that dad I'm getting closer to being a hero just like you."
