Chapter 8

When we head to Route 205, we find a little girl and she cries, "Help, help, Trainer! Please, can you get my papa for me? He works at the Valley Windworks. But the people dressed like space aliens are mean and won't let me in..."

"Space Aliens?" I ask. "That must be Team Galactic."

"Not those guys again." Gladion says as we rush to the Valley Windworks. There is a grunt guarding the door and he says, "Don't you dare go into the Valley Windworks. I got orders to keep everyone out if they're not part of Team Galactic!"

"As if we're just letting you get away with this." I say.

"OK, then. You'll have to battle me for it!" Then he goes for a Glameow, and we use Rhydon to use Hammer Arm to defeat the Pokemon.

"Yeah, like I'm really supposed to win with a Pokemon like this..." The grunt mutters, "Isn't that just great. Getting owned by some kids. But you can't do a thing if I lock myself in with my Works Key!"

"You won't dare..." We yell as he says, "That's right, the other Works Key's not here! My cohorts in the flower patch have the only other one! Hahaha! In that sense, I'm no longer the loser!'

Then he escapes into the Valley Windworks, and Gladion slams the door and yells, "Get back here! You coward!"

"Brother, just calm down." Lillie says.

"Yeah." Daniel says. "Didn't he just say that the other Works Key is in the Floamora Meadows? We should go there."

Did he say Floamora Meadows? How would- right, I almost forgot that Daniel is a Psychic who has been training to see the future. When we rush to the Floamora Meadows, we find the grunts there harassing a man.

"Enough arguing! Hand over that sweet Honey!" "Do as we say! Team Galactic will have that Honey! We must have it to attract Pokemon in great numbers!"

"Hey, what are you doing?" I yell as the grunts notice us.

"Hey! Those kids are witnesses! What'll we do?" "We can't have the brats running off to get help. The solution's simple... We must ensure the brats stay quiet!"

Then they try to attack us by using Wurmple, which is an easy target to defeat, and the other grunt is using Zubat, did they seriously have weak Pokemon only?

"Those brats are tough! Like, really, really tough! Tougher than I can put into words, and I know a lot of words." "We're done for now... Let's go back to the Valley Windworks."

After they leave, I already have Sneasel use Thief to get the Works Key. Lillie asks, "Are you okay, sir?"

"Thank you! You surely saved me. Those goons were trying to rob me of my sweet, sweet Honey. They sure were weird, though. You saw how they were dressed. What they were saying didn't make a whole lot of sense, either."

Then the man tries to thank us by giving us some jars of Honey, and he tells us that we can slather it on the sweet-smelling tree to attract Pokemon. That is tempting, but we're not doing that yet because we have to go to the Windworks and save whoever's inside.

Once we enter the Valley Windworks, we find the grunt who is surprised that we have the key. "Locking the door was meaningless! I am the loser in this after all! This is no time for self-pity! I've got to alert the commander!"

Then we all head forward and defeat more grunts with weak Pokemon, and once we're done, we find the commander, who has red hair and she says, "I'm one of Team Galactic's three Commanders... No, wait. That's one of four Commanders. We've been trying to create a new world that's better than this one... But people have shown little understanding about what we do. You don't understand either, do you? It's a little saddening... So, let's have a battle to decide what we should do next. If I win, you leave. If you win, we, Team Galactic, will leave!"

She sends out Zubat and Purugly, and I say, "You are going to be the ones who leave, Meganium."

Then the Grass Type appears as it uses Petal Dance, but Purugly uses the Protect to protect it. Then it uses Feint Attack, but Meganium uses the chance to Body Slam it, causing it to be defeated easily. As for the Zubat, the others have already dealt with it.

"Oops! I messed that one up! That's all right, though. I quite enjoyed our battle." The commander named Mars says, thanks to Daniel who knows her name beforehand.

"My, my. Lose to a child, will you?" We turn around to notice that another commander has shown up. He says, "But, no matter. We've collected plenty of electricity. With the power we obtained, we can do something quite spectacular. It seems quite obvious to me, Charon, the genius even the boss recognizes. Now, Mars, we should be going."

After he leaves, Mars is annoyed and she says, "Will you shut it! The boss is the only person in the world who's allowed to order me around! You can keep quiet around me! You only joined us recently. Don't think you're important! I guess it's time to say good-bye and leave for the time being!"

After she leaves, we find the tied scientist and save him. He says, "Team Galactic... They were saying they had to gather POkemon and energy no matter what. It was for creating a new universe, or so they claimed. Nothing they said made any sort of sense to me. Anyway, I can't tell you how grateful I am to you for saving me. I can finally see my little daughter again!"

And speaking of the daughter, the little girl rushes in and says, "Yuck! Papa, you're stinky! Go shower now, stinky!"

"Oh, sorry! Ahaha! They had me working nonstop!" The scientist says.

"Thank you, Trainers! You made those bad people go away!" The little girl says to us. "I think the Balloon Pokemon will come visiting again!"

"Balloon Pokemon?" We are confused. And just when we head outside, we find Looker there.

"Ah, yes. It is you, yes. I have heard that Team Galactic appeared at this power plant. I have, therefore, come running. So, the Team Galactic. Where are they?"

"We've already dealt with them. I guess we should leave the rest to the International Police since they all run off?" I ask.

Looker nods, "Very well! I shall go investigate inside!"

After he enters the building, we notice a Drifloon who is happy to come after Team Galactic leaves, so we capture it.

Drifloon: The Balloon Pokemon: Ghost and Flying Type. It tugs on the hands of children to steal them away. However, it gets pulled around instead.

Looker comes back out and says, "Magnificent! Yes, it is! What you have said is all true! Superb! Very well! I shall pursue the culprits! I have received tips that the Team Galactic hideout is in Eterna City. To there, I must be off!"

As he runs off, Lillie says, "So there's a hideout in Eterna City as well?"

"I guess so." I say, "But we can leave them to my Mom and Looker."

On Route 205, we find a shiny Pachirisu with the same energy as Dawn's, so we decide to capture it. Though this guy is also giving us some trouble, we're also happy to have him on the team.

Pachirisu: The Elesquirrel Pokemon: Electric Type. It makes electricity with pouches in its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail. It lives atop trees.

And we also find a West-Sea Shellos on the way, and Tox says, "You know, Shellos look different in Sinnoh, since we're in the west side, so they're pink. But in the east side, they are blue."

"Maybe we should try to capture both of them as well." Lillie says as we battle and capture the Shellos.

Shellos (West Sea): The Sea Slug Pokemon: Water Type. Found in abundance on seashores bordering warm waters. Shellos are unexpectedly friendly and will crawl toward any person they see.

As we continue moving, we find a man carrying a fainted Bellsprout passes by us. Another man passes by Ash and his friends while carrying a Zigzagoon. Dawn asks, "Is there something wrong?"

"Okay, there's a powerful Buizel showing up at nowhere while I was fishing in the river right there. It drags away my fishing rod and Zigzagoon was knocked out. That thing is scary. I have to go, but I wouldn't go fishing if I were you."

After he leaves, I say, "I have to capture that Buizel! Guys, let's go fishing!"

Near the river, we try to fish and Dawn notices that my Super Rod has a special lure, she asks, "What's that?"

"That's a lure that I got from Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader from the Kanto Region." Seeing that I have a Super Rod, Dawn wants to exchange but I refuse, and it is about to become a fight until Zoey shows up.

"I guess you're as noisy as ever, I see." We are surprised to see her here. Dawn shows her her first Contest Ribbon in the Floamora Contest. I ask, "So what are you doing here?"

"You see, I lost the last contest I was in, so I just have two. I thought I catch a Water Type Pokemon here for my next contest." Zoey says. "By the way, are you two going to enter the Hearthome Contest?"

"Well, I am going to enter that." Dawn says. Ash says, "No thanks, I have decided to enter the Alamos Contest next."

"We're here because we heard of a strong Buizel around here." Daniel says.

Just then, Dawn's Old Rod is shaking, and she manages to fish out the Buizel. She brings out Piplup to battle Buizel, as Buizel for us to bring it on.

"A battle between two Water Types. This is bound to be close, but I think whoever has the strongest moves wins." Gladion says.

Piplup uses Peck and Buizel dodges. Buizel uses a Water Gun, sending Piplup into the air but Piplup lands on its feet. Piplup uses another Bubble Beam, as Buizel counters with Aqua Jet a few times. While Piplup is very dizzy, Buizel jumps up into the air and uses one more Aqua Jet which knocks Piplup out. Dawn recalls Piplup to his Poké Ball, but Buizel again motions for us to bring it on.

"It seems Buizel wants to take me on this time." Zoey says. "It's a deal."

She brings out her Glameow to battle Buizel. Glameow jumps into the air and uses Shadow Claw, while Buizel dodges and uses Sonic Boom. Glameow uses its Fury Swipes to knock away the Sonic Boom attack waves. Buizel uses Water Gun, while Glameow jumps and uses Shadow Claw, and Buizel counters with Aqua Jet. Aqua Jet and Shadow Claw collide, as the Aqua Jet sends Glameow into the ground. Buizel uses another Aqua Jet to knock Glameow out.

"Okay, Pikachu. It's our turn. Let's do this." I say as we notice the Pokemon still taunting us.

Tox says, "Nice, an Electric Type sure can give a great advantage."

"Just remember that Buizel is still very strong." Daniel adds.

Pikachu uses Thunderbolt, while Buizel dodges. Buizel uses Sonic Boom, while Pikachu uses Quick Attack to dodge. Buizel dodges the Quick Attack and jumps into the air. Pikachu lands a hit with Iron Tail, knocking Buizel to the ground but he gets right back up. Buizel uses Sonic Boom on Pikachu as he takes the hit. Pikachu uses Volt Tackle, while Buizel counters with Water Gun. The Volt Tackle goes through to knock out Buizel.

"Go! Pokeball!" I throw the Pokeball, and then it goes inside and then shakes for a while, but it breaks out.

"He won't give up..." I mutter.

Then it goes for Aqua Jet before diving into the river once more. Dawn says, "Pikachu can be anywhere and Pikachu knows it!"

"Ash, Pikachu is now at a disadvantage in the water..." Lillie says.

Buizel then comes back out and pushes Pikachu further into the water with his leg. Pikachu tries to use Thunderbolt, but Buizel uses Sonic Boom, showing sparks out of the water and sending Pikachu flying. Pikachu lands on my head and is knocked out as we hit the ground.

"Even Pikachu got beat!" Lillie gasps.

"That Buizel is something else..." Zoey says.

Buizel steals everyone's fishing rods, and swims away with them. I yell, "Hey! If you think you're going to give up now, you're not thinking! I'm getting that Buizel!"

We all chase the Buizel and get to the waterfall, and we notice that our fishing rods are lying on the ground by some rocks. Our fishing rods are not broken, and the Misty fishing lure is in one piece.

"So that means Buizel is close by..." We notice Buizel smashing rocks with his Water Gun attack, as Buizel spots us. Everyone looks at Buizel nervously, as Buizel uses his Water Gun towards me. But after I dodge, it turns out that the Water Gun is hitting the Oran Berry tree as it eats the berry.

"Now you're going to have another battle." Then Buizel uses Aqua Jet on Pikachu and Absol and dives into the water. Buizel uses a Water Gun from underwater and then Aqua Jet again out of the water.

"I think that Buizel is doing some special training." Lillie says. "Maybe we should do it as well."

Then we decide to aim with the Waterfall with the attacks, and none of them worked. Just then, Team Rocket shows up and Zoey asks, "Who are those people?"

"They are just idiots who stole Pokemon, and they have been trying with us for the 820 times and still not trying to give up."

"How lame can they get?" Zoey sighs. "They have to be the biggest bunch of idiots that I've ever seen before."

We have Togetic use Air Slash to cut the net and save Buizel. Lillie is the one who catches Buizel and brings it to the shore.

"Buizel, are you okay?" Lillie asks as he nods.

Jessie brings out Seviper, and James brings out Carnivine who, as always, bites his head. Pikachu used Thunderbolt on Seviper and Carnivine as they were moving in to attack. Piplup uses Bubble Beam, while Buizel breaks through the net and uses Water Gun to blast off and throw Team Rocket into a tree, defeating Seviper and Carnivine and sending them flying.

"Buizel, your Water Gun is so great." Lillie says, and this time Buizel wants to battle Lillie, so Lillie decides to use Absol to battle Buizel. After another battle, Lillie finally captures the Buizel.

Buizel: The Sea Weasel Pokemon: Water Type. It has a flotation sac that is like an inflatable collar. It floats on water with its head out.

After sunset, Zoey says that she will return the stolen fishing rods back to where they belong and that she is going to stay and catch some Pokémon. She tells Dawn that she will see her at the Hearthome City Contest next. Everyone says goodbye as we continue on their journey to Eterna City.

Here is a new chapter, and the group battle Team Galactic in the Valley Windworks and now Ash and Lillie also capture more Pokemon. I hope you like this chapter.
