• Battle of Candle Cove

The Krieg Pirates, also known as the Pirate Armada due to their sheer size, were East Blue's largest and most feared pirate crew led by Don Krieg. They were a fleet of fifty pirate ships and five thousand pirates that posed as a fearsome force.

Don Krieg first started out as a pirate, he hijacked a Marine ship and used that as a guise to start his pillaging. He eventually built his armada, reaching a number of 50 ships and 5000 soldiers.

The Krieg Pirates was the most powerful military pirate crew in the East Blue, due to it's massive numbers of men, weapons and ships.

While taking advantage of their numbers, and do heinous acts such as raising a white flag as a ruse to unsuspecting foes or use poison gas to wipe out villages. Due to their active pillaging and high numbers, the Marines saw the Krieg Pirates as a powerful and deadly threat in the East Blue.

After terrorizing East Blue for some time, the Krieg Pirates eventually decide to conquer the Grand Line. So Kreig and his fifty ships departed.

The Pirate crew were a fearsome force until the fleet was decimated by a terrifying skeleton.

On the seventh day after entering the Grand Line, the Krieg Pirates arrived on dark and foggy island, the crew walked into a Kingdom called The Abyssal Kingdom, which was located inside a massive chasm. At the top of the chasm there are a few cities and villages populated by natives named the Abyssians.

The Krieg Pirates starts attacking and plundering the Kingdom. Once the Krieg Pirates were done ransacking they started wondering around the island looking for any more Kingdoms or Villages to ransack.

The Krieg Pirates found a cove called Candle Cove on the other side of the island. It turns out The Cove was inhabited by a big skeleton with glass eyes, which were too big for his sockets. He wears a brown top hat and cape. It introduce itself as The Skin-Taker, and yelled to the Krieg Pirates that it will "GRIND THEIR SKINS".

The Krieg Pirates were freaked out by the skeletons appearance and what it said, and they immediately attacked it.

The crew overestimated the Skin-Taker's strength. The Skin-Taker single-handedly destroy Don Krieg's entire fleet, excluding Krieg's flagship, which lead to losing forty-nine ships and most of their soldiers.

The Skin-Taker boarded onto the main flagship, and began to fight with Don Krieg and his remaining crew.

Three Krieg Pirate combatants, Ideaman, Hustle and Kagikko tried to turn the tables and overpowered The Skin-Taker but were killed.

Then Pearl, known as Pearl the Iron Wall, the commander of the Krieg Pirates' second unit, charged at The Skin-Taker and began to attack it.

Pearl use an attack called Pearl Present, in which Pearl punches The Skin-Taker, with the shield on one of his fists. The punch prove powerful enough to knock The Skin-Taker a few feet away.

Pearl throws a shield-punch at The Skin-Taker similar to Pearl Present, only much harder, called Cho Tennen Pearl Present.

Pearl then slams his left-hand and right-hand shields together on either side of The Skin-Taker's head, this attack which Pearl calls Pearl Close.

Despite Pearl overpowering The Skin-Taker which caused a lot of cheer from his fellow pirate crew, The Skin-Taker doesn't seem to be injured from Pearl's attacks. And he then threw a powerful punch at Pearl.

He punch Pearl hard enough on the head, that Pearl began to bleed from his nose which is the first time in battle.

After seeing a drop of his own blood spilled, Pearl goes into a panicked frenzy, (which his crewmates believes he has hemophobia), Pearl's perfect record of being unable to get in any injuries from a fight was tarnished which greatly anger him.

Pearl believes he was in danger from The Skin-Taker, Pearl lights himself on fire, in which he calls himself Fire Pearl Daitokuten, and he then threw small flaming pearls at The Skin-Taker.

The Skin-Taker manage to dodge the flaming pearls.

Pearl thrashed around with The Skin-Taker, but eventually the Skin-Taker use his cape I made a powerful air swipe at Pearl. This cause the flames on Pearl to go out. The Skin-Taker then knocked out Pearl by punching him hard enough on the torso that it shattered his iron plate shielding and was send falling.

In response to this, Krieg jumps into battle, yelled to The Skin-Taker that claimed he is the strongest man in the world.

Krieg use "Kaen Hosha" on The Skin-Taker, which was a flame thrower.

The Skin-Taker jumped into the air and destroy the flame thrower.

Krieg then shoots The Skin-Taker with bombs and spears. The spears harmed The Skin-Taker at his foot, and fell into ocean, but managed to get out of the ocean and continue fighting.

Krieg then attacked with a hail of spears fired from his weapon, bit manage to dodge it. The Skin -Taker was about to throw a punch at Krieg, but Krieg use his robe which is made of dangerous spikes. However, to the surprise of his crew, The Skin-Taker still attacked despite getting injured, and knocked Krieg to the ground.

Standing back up, Krieg took out his weapon, Daisenso, a large spear with an explosive end that detonates upon impact. He continue his battle with The Skin-Taker. The Skin-Taker began striking the spear itself, and eventually broke the end.

The Skin-Taker then threw a power punch at Krieg, but but Krieg's armor protected him, then The Skin-Taker threw another power punch but the armor still did not break. The Skin-Taker then start throwing rapid punches at Krieg, which finally crack Krieg's armor into pieces.

Angered Krieg decides to released his deadly poisonous gas bomb, the MH5 in an attempt to kill him.

The MH5 is Krieg's most dreaded weapon which is an explosive shell containing a highly potentchemical toxin. Upon impact it spreads a large cloud of gas that lasts around five minutes. The poison inflicts immediate organ failure and internal bleeding on anyone who breathes it unprotected and dies within an hour.

His crewmen began to wear their gas masks, and Krieg then fired at The Skin-Taker.

The Skin-Taker ran towards the MH5 at high speed grabbed it, and threw it back at Krieg and his Pirate crew.

Upon hitting on impact, the MH5 exploded on Krieg and his pirate crew, and the explosion caused the Krieg's pirate ship, Dreadnaught Sabre, a very large galleon ship, and the flagship of the Krieg Pirates' armada, to blow up and split into pieces.

After a long battle, The Skin-Taker managed to defeat the Krieg Pirates, but one.

Gin the "Man-Demon" is a pirate and the Combat Commander of the Krieg Pirates.

Gin is holding on to one of the wreckage of the ship, he was frozen in fear when The Skin-Taker spotted Gin and started approaching him.

Then an unexpected suddenly storm happens, The Skin-Taker had a hard time approaching Gin due to the fact, that if it isn't hanging on to any of the wreckage of the ship it will get blown away by the wind.

Gin spotted one of the lifeboats of the Dreadnought Sabre, that wasn't damaged by the MH5 explosion. Gin quickly gone on to the Lifeboat and pedal as fast as he can, and eventually he managed to leave the The Abyssal Kingdom, and the Grand Line in general.

He manage to get back to the East Blue, Gin then arrived on the see floating restaurant Baratie, he was given food and told the staff of Baratie on how the the Pirate Armada fell victims to a living skeleton known as The Skin-Taker, much to the staffs horror.
