A short tribute written to Severus Snape and Alan Rickman, on the occasion of Alan's death on the 14th of January, 2016. Shared in the hope that it may bring some solace to sore and grieving hearts around the world.

In the memory of our beloved Alan Rickman, who despite the fact that he played villains he was a kind , compassionate person. I am too shocked and sad to continue.I will always remember him. To his character, Severus, I own my first story, one that I haven't yet published, and my wish to write.

In tribute to Alan Rickman. The man who played beloved Severus Snape. Today we all heard he died; causing a surge of tears from Potterheads all around us. This is my way of saying thank you to the beloved man who played the role of the man with the greasy black hair.

This is just a very short fanfiction on the death of Severus Snape.

In light of everything that's happened, what we've lost, what the world has lost, I thought it right to just say that I never really liked Severus Snape. He just didn't seem like the "hero" or the "villain" to me. He couldn't be sorted into one box. He had his virtues and he had his vices. But that could never deter me from saying that Alan Rickman was one of my favourite actors. F
