"Breathe deeply, Kitty," Ladybug said, as they walked in the gates of the fun fair. "I smell popcorn, cotton candy, and….ooh!" Cat grabbed Ladybug's arm. "M'lady, I smell funnel cake!" "We'll have time to try it all." Cat blushed. "Its a bit crowded in there. Hold my hand so we don't get lost?" Ladybug nodded.
There was so many colorful things to look at! So many smells! So….Wait, was that a poster of Adrien?! "Earth to M'lady!" Cat waved a hand in front of her face. "You were drooling over the model boy again, weren't you?" "I'm not saying," she whispered, but luckily Cat was distracted. Over at the next booth, sat row after row of stuffed teddy bears. "I'm going to win you a bear!" he told her with determined. "Come on!"
"Its very simple to win the bear," the man running the booth said. "Knock down the bottles, win a bear." "Ha! That will be a cinch," Cat grinned as he handed over his dollar. Ladybug giggled as Cat stuck out his cute pink tongue and aimed.
Bonk! Bonk! Bonk! "No! I didn't even hit one!" "I'll have a go," Ladybug said, plonking her dollar down.
She didn't usually throw balls around. But she had fantastic aim with her yo-yo. Bing! Bing! Bing! "And we have a winner!" The man cried, and handed Ladybug her bear. "And that's how you do that," she smirked as she walked away, Cat trotting at her heels. "How did you do that?" he asked. "Simple. I'm Lady Luck. Don't worry, they'll be other chances."
The two spent the next few hours riding (and screaming) on the rides, and after it was time for a lemonade and an ice cream. As they strolled, Cat licked his cone, holding Ladybug's hand. He might not have won a prize yet, but he would. Then Cat heard a beautiful sound. Rubber ducks.
Cat turned, meowing with delight. Their was a rubber duck game! Cat walked over to get line, for once Cat put his mind to something, there was no going back.
