Cat Grant watched with a certain amount of awe as the woman in a gleaming, hight tech suit brought their ailing helicopter down. The rear rotor had ripped free, and they had been spinning out of control, about to crash when they were suddenly stopped in mid-air.
Cat wrenched the door open as they landed, glad she had her microphone handy from the report they were doing. "Miss! Who are you? Is this your first visit to our city?"
The armored figure hesitated, the voice slightly distorted as they said, "I'm just trying to help."
Her cameraman caught the shot of the suit arcing up into the sky like a golden rocket.
"Wow," Cat muttered, still vaguely stunned.
"Lowering his camera her cameraman muttered, "You could probably go orbital in that thing."
Cat looked over at him thoughtfully, thinking of the circular design on the front of the armor, "Orbital..."

'Orbital' prevents Helicopter Crash!' the front page of the paper read.
"What do you mean, Orbital?!" Karen Danvers yelped.

Notes: Thinking about a more Science Fiction take on Supergirl, with her kind of a fusion with Iron Man. I might still have her have SOME powers, but nowhere near canon. Loosely inspired by the fanfic 'Last Scion of El' too.
