Chapter 64: Criminal Insurgence

Monday

Josephine looked nervous at the three leaders as her cohorts went downstairs to the heist.

"Ok, I called up for a car. Let's get it…." Tomoko said as they got up.

Josephine followed them out where a black Bodhi was there…something that she did notice was there. However, she didn't question it as they got in with Naruto driving.

"Ok, Josephine…here's the score. We're going out to Blaine County, and we're going to rob Merryweather of some equipment for the heist the IAA's hired us on to." Naruto explained. "Two Insurgents. Josephine, you'll be helping me."

"Merryweather? The PMC?" Josephine said, surprised. "So this is high risk, high reward right?"

"Yeah, and we got you this…" Yara said, giving her a black bandana. "We're all going to wear one."

Agent 14 had checked in with the usual banter before they left LS. Soon enough, they'd get to Blaine County (getting Josephine better guns and body armor) when Agent 14 had some advice before leaving the four alone.

"We can snipe them…or we go in loud." Naruto said as they got their bandanas on. "Considering it's daylight, we'll have to go in loud."

Naruto's method of doing that? He drove up on the cliffside of the quarry and drove right off of it into the quarry while opening fire on the mooks.

"Naruto, you're fucking crazy!" Josephine screamed as the car landed on top of some mook's Patriot.

"But he's efficient…that's why he's the boss." Tomoko said as they went sprang out to open fire.

Merryweather was typically fairly well armed compared to the typical street thug or redneck…something Josephine was far too aware of. But she had her determination…and her shooting skills as she fired rounds from her assault rifle. Tomoko was more the happier to unleash her minigun out into PMC goons to shred them. Yara slipped into the Insurgent as Merryweather servicemen yelled for her to get out of the vehicle and surrender. She ran them over as Josephine and Naruto went for the Insurgent Pick-Up with Naruto taking the driver's seat and Josephine getting to the gunner seat to provide covering fire.

"Thanks for the equipment, cocksuckers." Tomoko said before shooting the last mook dead. "And for the money."

She snatched up the cash and was about to steal their cars…when realizing that's not the best idea. So, she called Ben up.

Josephine was having fun using the big machine gun that the Insurgent Pick-Up came with…blowing up helicopters and jeeps left and right.

"Pull over and su-AAHHH!"

Josephine blew that mook's head off as Tomoko was racing up on her Hexer Custom providing cover fire with her Compact Rifle.

"Status report?" Agent 14 said.

"We're making headway…and we're going to be in the clear…about now!" Tomoko said before blowing up the last mook.

"Ok, Isaribi's finished with her task, so I'll be meeting you at the drop point." Agent 14 said.

Arriving at the drop point which was a foreclosed pier in North Alamo, Agent 14 came out of one of the houses with two other guys.

"Good work, the one with the gun was the spare…don't worry about it." Agent 14 said as Naruto, Josephine, and Yara got out. "We'll be getting to work on setting up the EMP. I'll be seeing all of you back at the planning room tonight for your next assignment. Seven."

"Right. I'll inform Isaribi." Naruto said as Yara got in the car with Tomoko.

Tomoko drove off as Naruto rolled his eyes in annoyance.

As the world returned, Naruto found himself and Josephine standing near the road off North Calafia Way. Josephine was on her phone giddy over the payment before thanking Naruto for the chance to work with him directly. Naruto called up his mechanic.

"Yeah, it's me. I'll need my Infernus. Yeah, thanks." Naruto said before hanging up. "Josephine, you need a ride back?"

"Yes please…" Josephine said sheepishly.

(A/N: Short, but effective to highlight how crazy Naruto can be with his plans. I opted for Josephine as I wanted to cycle through the members of Tidal Fox to highlight their skills. I do intend to introduce new members into the organization…some much needed guys into it. Some from Isaribi's past, and some from Naruto's.)
