Chapter 65: Old Friends Make Their Return

Los Santos

Monday

After Josephine was brought back to pick up her bike for her to go back, Naruto entered the house to see there along with pizza for this meeting. Jon was just leaving as he got on his bike to head out.

"Ok, we're all in attendance. The heads, Shikamaru, the captains, and Jase. So…I believe we can start." Isaribi said before turning to Jase. "I believe you can start."

"To begin with, Alex and I's time there has got an alliance with the San Fierro Triads and the spy agency Epilogue." Jase said. "Caligula's Casino is under our control."

Fuu whistled in appreciation.

"Shit, we moving up in the world." Fuu said as Alex revealed the duffel bags.

"Cash from the defeated Italians…one for each of the bosses." Alex said formally. "The rest was already divided up."

"Man, all you did was go on a honeymoon to bang your husband and you come back with money…" Fuu snarked.

"If only you knew all that we scored." Alex thought.

Pizza was eaten as Alex and Jase gave some details about their trip focusing mainly on the matters of the Triads and Epilogue.

"The good news is this means that Grove Street Families are more likely to be endeared to us." Isaribi remarked. "Good work, both of you. I do feel bad that you got roped into some shit, but it seems you two beneifited from this. I don't doubt you snatched up assets for yourselves from those dead Italians…and I don't really take issue with that."

"Me neither. You killed them off and took over…so it's rightfully yours." Naruto said calmly. "Appreciate the money."

"Our way of showing a bit of 'respect'." Alex affirmed.

"And to keep us from asking about cuts from your businesses." Tomoko joked. "But in all seriousness, all that is handled?"

"Yes, all dealt with." Jase remarked. "But I'd worry more about the spy agency."

"Shikamaru, got any updates for us?" Naruto asked as Shikamaru was on his laptop.

"In terms of our warehouse operations, the price for buying electronics and medical equipment has gone up meaning we can sell crates with those in it for 20% more than before." Shikamaru said, looking up at his bosses. "Also we have a full warehouse, the only medium warehouse. You can wholesale everything in it. I can arrange it."

"How much?" Naruto asked.

"Selling wholesale does mean we have to pay fees to get the moving of those crates arranged and there's my cut and Lupe's cut to take out. The warehouse staff also get a percentage if it's done wholesale. This cut totals 25k for small warehouses, 50k for medium ones, and 75k for large ones. The net profit divided among all four of you for this warehouse is $171,250. I'll have it sold come the end of this meeting." Shikamaru remarked. "Also there's a bit of update on SecuroServ policy from Nora. While associate pay is still going max out at 10k per interval…delivery jobs for warehouse work whether aiding you in buying or selling…well net a flat pay rate of 10k per job regardless of maximum being hit. The Komons and below were informed."

"Anyone else got anything?" Isaribi asked.

"G still got work for us." Fuu remarked. "Aside from that, I think we're covered."

"How soon are we going to get some more men for the organization? We could use more men." Jabari remarked earnestly.

"Not going to lie…it is becoming a clamba-"

Isaribi was cut off by her phone ringing to which Isaribi oddly enough saw it was Ritchie calling.

"Ritchie, what's help?" Ritchie said.

"Yo, Isaribi…just wanted to let you know some people came into the city…heard them mention your name so I was keeping an eye on them." Ritchie said before giving a rough description that got Isaribi's attention.

Isaribi gave a few more specific details to look for her and when he confirmed them…Isaribi looked relieved.

"Seems Jabari got his wish…Ritchie, give the gentlemen my number and tell him to call me…and that it's urgent. Thank you, Ritchie." Isaribi said before hanging up.

Then Naruto's phone went off…it was from Eva.

"Eva, what's up?" Naruto said after answering.

"Just wanted to check in on something…Heather and I just got into a race with some Italians from out of state. One mentioned your name when we were talking…a Johnny Vincent ring a bell?" Eva asked.

"Yes, it does. He still with you guys? Put him on the phone."

Naruto went outside before hearing a voice he had not heard in ages.

"Johnny, you greased bastard…it's been far too long." Naruto remarked.

"Naruto, the Asian persuasion…how the hell you've been?" Johnny shot back.

"Good…good…got a group going. Building myself up…but what's been happening with you?" Naruto asked. "Actually, no…where are you? Mirror Park? I got a tavern in the area I own, Eva will show you where it is. We'll meet up over drinks."

"Just consider the mocktails…even if it's the afternoon, rather not get all too plastered." Johnny said.

"You got, JV. I'll see you there." Naruto said before hanging up.

Isaribi came outside after finishing.

"Naruto, I think we can conclude the meeting, right? An old ally of mine is back in town, and I need to go to the airport." Isaribi remarked.

"Seems Jabari got his wish, I got an old friend to meet up at the clubhouse. And yeah, I think we covered our bases." Naruto said before they went in to end the meeting.

The contents of the medium warehouse were sold off as the meeting came to a close. Jabari was satisfied with the news of more guys for the group.

"Oh, Alex and Jase…I'd like for you both to return here tonight to aid us on heist work, we're dealing with Merry-"

"I'm in." Alex said without hesitation.

A chance to screw over the company that blackballed her? It was one of her heart's desires. Knowingly, Jase nodded before they left with one of the boxes of leftover pizza.

"We're heading out…figured we'd do some work for Simeon. Shikamaru, you should join us." Yara said. "We need a chance to get to know each other better."

"Nothing says bonding like boosting cars…but screw it, I'll come." Shikamaru said heading for the door. "I can't get too rusty with a gun."

The money Alex and Jase brought them was already 'collected' thanks to the System as Fuu opted to join Yara and Tomoko as well. Everyone would leave the house going off on their separate ways.

Isaribi was closing in on the airport in her Super Drop Diamond with the top down. She had changed clothes to more casual clothes: a white loose tank, her Datejust watch, a pair of cream baggy cargo pants that had a black belt, black socks in a pair of ice white hi-top sneakers, Krepp gold aviators, and a silver cuban chain. She pulled up to see a guy had not seen in a few years.

"Keitaro Urashima, you immortal bastard…it's been far too long." Isaribi said.

Keitaro had not changed too much from when she last worked with him, but he was dressed up like Tony Montana from the beginning of Scarface. Same skin tone, same dark brown hair, but the glasses were replaced with silver rimless sunglasses.

"Isaribi. It's been too long." Keitaro said fist bumping Isaribi. "How have you been?"

"Good, got an organization going. Doing pretty well for yourself…but what are you doing on the West Coast?" Isaribi asked.

"Change of scenery…not going to lie I wish I listened to you years ago about going West. Let's just say I'm here after losing nearly everything on one job gone bad." Keitaro said wistfully, putting his suitcase in Isaribi's car.

"What happened to Kentaro?" Isaribi said, realizing that his apartment was not there. "Aw shit, he's not…"

"Yeah, but it was a slow death given he got poisoned. It got the attention of his family…who were coming to take him back to Japan. His family had cut him off before, but his now dying got them to relent. However…Sekata used his connections to get me and the others on a plane to LS before his family came." Keitaro said. "There's no chance of him coming back into the game…his father seems to have regretted cutting him off in the first place. Now sure if he passed or not…but I got the asshole who did it."

Two others came up behind Keitaro, who smirked.

"Let me introduce you to the other two of my motley group. Tursuko Aoyama and Amalla Su." Keitaro said.

Tursuko looked as traditionally Japanese as they come in terms of physical features: the skin tone, the brown eyes, and the long raven hair in a traditional cut. Only standout thing was her height was well above average at 180 centimeters and on a lesser note, the pair of Ds. She wore similar clothing to Keitaro only darker colored jeans and canvas sneakers. She carried a sheathed nodachi katana at her side. Amalla had a more standout appearance with Indian-esque features, blue eyes, and striking silver hair in a high ponytail. Her body, height, and build was fairly close to Isaribi's. Amalla had worn the Hawaiian shirt but wore it open showing a blue loose tank, blue jean shorts, and ice white sneakers.

"Get your things inside…my friend owns a tavern." Isaribi said as everyone got in.

Naruto had changed his outfit out of the 'work clothes' to more casual wear: his Double P varsity jacket over a Double P baseball shirt, white cargo pants, his Datejust watch, and a pair of Broker ash shades, and slate round-toe boots. He arrived at the tavern on his Shotaro, noticing three motorcycles next to Eva's. A blue LCC Avarus with gold flames on the sides, a white and aquaberry Hexer Custom with a silver skull on the right side, ,and a black WMC Nightblade with blue accents.

Naruto went inside to find Eva with Johnny Vincent, Pinky Gauthier, and Larry 'Peanut' Romaro. He was happy to see them noticing the guys had not changed too much. Merely only getting slightly taller and not wearing the school uniform anymore…but they kept their leather jackets. Pinky's hair was slightly longer…and ironically wore a leather jacket that looked just like Lola's, offset by dark red lipstick…and a new matured appearance.

"Server, a beer for all three of my guests and myself." Naruto said as the bartender nodded. "Eva, mind if I catch up with my old friends?"

"Sure. Catch you later, vice president." Eva said before leaving.

He took a seat.

"Damn, you doing pretty good for yourself." Peanut said as Naruto chuckled.

"Good to see you too, Peanut. Beatrice is in LS too…she's a neurosurgeon now. She told me some of what happened in Bullworth after I left. I'm still laughing at the fact that it's Pinky…that couldn't have gone over with Lola well." Naruto said as the beers were served.

"It didn't, but it doesn't matter. Me and Johnny love each other…it's funny really…we started talking and we found we had plenty in common. Many didn't approve, but by then…I just stopped hanging around the Preps. We just ended up falling for each other…" Pinky said.

"We just needed better people to be around…we were good for each other." Johnny remarked. "At first, I was doing it to piss off Lola, but I really did find myself liking Pinky's company. She helped us Greasers get actual motorcycles in our senior year."

"Whatever happened to the rest of the guys?" Naruto asked.

"By graduation…the clique rode out on our bikes for a summer together, we went our separate ways. Lucky stayed behind…working at the school taking over Neil's job after he retired. Hooked up with Christy with a kid on the way. Vance took over the hair salon, always going on about touching up hair. Norton's a part of some demolition crew out of Las Venturas. Lefty's in a medical rehab center for his nicotine addiction getting out of hand. Hal's also in Venturas trying to lose weight…and I've been traveling with Peanut and Pinky…on the open road looking for a place…and a bit of trouble." Johnny said with a snicker.

Naruto would catch up with his past friends, simply just pleased to see them. Soon after, Isaribi would arrive with her friends.

"So whatever happened to that Dukes?" Keitaro asked.

"Wrecked after a job went bad with Epsilonists…I should go into replacing it. I missed having a muscle car." Isaribi said before seeing Naruto. "Speaking of that, this is my partner…Naruto Uzumaki. Oi, Naruto…this was my partner before you, Keitaro Urashima."

"Urashima?" Naruto said before turning to face him. "Shit, Isaribi…I didn't think you were that connected."

"I could say the same, but I've cut my ties with my family." Keitaro remarked.

The group had gotten together all having a beer, making it all one big meet and greet.

"Man, you think living in a house full of women would be a paradise…" Peanut said in disbelief. "Too bad, two of them are fucking crazy. No offense, Miss Aoyama."

"Tursuko. And I don't blame you…my younger sister's issues were exacerbated by the actions of that loathsome ex of his. Though, I've come to realize all of this started because my sister walked in on me and my now former husband while we were intimate…which led to her having a fear of turtles for some reason." Tursuko said as everyone looked at her. "I don't know how either…"

"My condolences. Incident with a demon?" Johnny asked.

"Ironically, no. Clan politics. A false allegation by a disgruntled former student had my family rake him over the coals…figuratively and literally. My mistake was not siding with my husband…I hesitated in whether I believed he could cheat. Motoko didn't even help rallying behind the accuser…and the truth came out. Of course, my clan, instead of making sure that lying bitch was prosecuted, opted to sweep it under the rug. Half-hearted apologies. Well, he responded by divorcing me…and it broke my heart. I would take over running Hina House after he left…to get away from Kyoto. But my sister made things worse…and I ultimately wanted to go with Keitaro…so I left Japan behind for America with Amalla. But not before hunting down that lying snake and killing her. I believe the Americans call it 'Liar Liar, Pants on Fire'." Tursuko said.

"Yeah, well that sucks…what about the Indian?" Pinky asked.

"Pacific Islander." Amalla clarified. "I was the crown princess of a small kingdom out in the South Pacific. I left for America because in part that the crown prince only had eyes for my little sister. They're step-siblings…"

"It's royalty…I'm not surprised there's inbreeding." Pinky joked.

"Either way, I wanted out…but I couldn't just dip like my sister did. No, I needed money that couldn't be traced back to my home…and I ended up in the criminal underworld at Tursuko's suggestion. The rest is history." Amalla mused.

"Well, you came to the right place. Our organization is in desperate need of new members…and I think we can take you guys to headquarters." Isaribi said as Naruto nodded.

A short drive later, Naruto and Isaribi took them up to Tidal Fox headquarters.

"Damn, Naruto! This is your headquarters…what are you in the millionaire's club?" Johnny asked, looking around in awe.

"Yup. Got me a sweet office and that fine piece as a secretary…who's a total fox." Naruto said as Nora gave a dry laugh. "I told you guys the benefits of working with us."

"So we start as associates?" Peanut asked.

"Naruto, can you vouch for them?" Isaribi asked.

"Johnny could easily be a captain. He knows how to lead a group and he's good with mechanics. He fights pretty well. Peanut's his right hand man. Can't really vouch for Pinky to not start as an associate." Naruto remarked. "And you?"

"Can vouch for Keitaro as a Komon. This guy has a crazy healing factor…he's tanked some shit. But rules are rules, we'll have to start them all as associates. Prove yourselves and those ranks we mentioned are assured. But, welcome to Tidal Fox." Isaribi said. "Nora will get you set up. Please excuse us for the moment."

Both went to the office.

"Ok, I think we need to change the theme. I like the Matrix outfits, but it's just too hot." Isaribi said as Naruto was quick to get on his computer. "We got plenty of options."

"Especially since we beat those wannabe Saints. We actually got the gang customizations from Saints Row 2 and our recent mini-updated restored the ones cut from SR2. We can dress them up like the Ronin, the Brotherhood, or the Sons of Samedi…of course, adjusted to our colors of orange." Naruto said showing Isaribi the options.

"Brotherhood's a bit too punk…and I rather not have people look like the Samedi. The Ronin could work…" Isaribi noted. "I always liked the Ronins' jackets."

"On that we can agree, the jackets are dope." Naruto mused.

"Any interesting details for how the ranks wear it?" Isaribi asked.

"Actually there's a bonus perk of sorts but it only applies to using the Brotherhood, Samedi, or Ronin styles. Apparently, our members gain bits of the gang's fighting style…the combos and finishers. And so do we. Color palettes orange, blue, black, and white." Naruto said with a grin. "Everyone gets a free katana to carry. The members wear burnt orange jackets. Komon wears black jackets. Kyodai also wears the black jackets but has the option to wear suits. Our assistant and accountant still keep their suits. As everyone else above, including us, we can choose between the three. And associates wear Double P baseball shirts and varsity jackets."

He selected the style as the System made the change. The two left to find their friends all in the 'outfits' already.

"Probably going to have to learn to use a sword." Johnny remarked.

"Works just fine for me." Amalla said.

"You guys got arrangements on places to stay?" Isaribi asked.

"I was going to surprise you Johnny, but now's a good time…I got us a house. Remember when we were in Las Venturas, and I was at that poker game." Pinky explained.

"Yeah, you told me you only won ten Gs." Johnny said.

"I was supposed to get more cash, but the guy I beat offered up a property. Apparently, he wanted to hide the big loss from his wife so he coughed up his vacation home. 3675 Whispymound Drive up in the hills." Pinky said, dangling the keys. "And I did put the house under our names…hubby."

"Wait, you and Pinky tied the knot?" Naruto said.

Johnny blushed and Peanut explained the two had married by accident after a night of drinking a few weeks prior. Peanut opted for not trying with them…wanting to get his own place.

"I can get you guys apartments." Isaribi said to Keitaro, Tursuko, and Amalla. "It'll be a start, but you can make cash to get a better place."

"Can I get in on that?" Peanut asked as Isaribi nodded.

The five left headquarters.

"So it's Mrs. Vincent now. I wish I could see the look on Lola's face." Naruto snickered. "But I'm glad for you, Johnny."

"I believe you need these to…Mr and Mrs. Vincent." Nora said, pointing to the guns on the table.

A pair of deagles.

"Yeah, welcome to Los Santos." Naruto said, giving it to them. "I've got your numbers, so I'll call if anything. You were given the runthrough so you can start doing jobs on your own time. So go on ahead to settle into your new place…especially given we're going to be neighbors."

Johnny laughed before he and his wife left right as Olivia and Victoria came in much to Naruto's amusement seeing that Victoria looked embarrassed to be here.

"Naruto, so good to see you." Olivia said as Naruto greeted her. "I need your assistance…not with a job just yet, but with my daughter. I need you to give her a job."

"At one of our fronts or our organization because if it's the second….well she's never going to be made a full member." Naruto said bluntly.

"I know that…but she's got herself expelled from college for plagiarism. Of course, we can pay off the college, but seeing that her father is away for the time being, I've decided to take charge…and that she'll work to pay them off." Olivia said as Naruto chuckled. "All 200k of that bribe."

"Leave me her number, I'll have something for her soon." Naruto said before having a thoughtful look.

Hinata City, Japan

The Hinata House had certainly changed since Keitaro…and Tursuko left. Shinobu looked at herself in the mirror…the years had passed her by. She was no longer a small wallflower, but a delinquent. Her gentleness guarded until a layer of no-nonsense. She knew she had to toughen up and stand up for herself. She finally got herself emancipated from her parents as soon as she made seventeen. Now, she was working and biding her time until she could afford to go after Keitaro. She got out to get to work on the laundry walking past Naru's 'former' room. Naru…the woman who left a bitter taste in her mouth.

Naru initially was smug, expecting Keitaro to come crawling back to Hinata not able to hack it out on his own. But then days turned to weeks and so on leaving it to sink that he was not coming back. Shinbou had expected some kind of karma, but no…her life seemed to improve after she stopped giving a damn about Keitaro…by meeting an older corporate guy. Soon after, she had a cushy corporate job at Zaibatsu and some investments got Naru a better wardrobe, a car, and her moving out of the Hinata House seeing the place was beneath her. It has been nearly a year since Naru left.

"Good riddance." Shinobu muttered before moving on.

Motoko was still here, only recently affected by all that's happened. Her sister, before leaving the Hinata, made it clear to her that she was cutting her out of her life…along with leaving the family. It had hit…only slightly. The sword maiden trained for hours and hours each day to eliminate the pain. It did not help that she was hurt the most by Naru leaving her in the dust. In her room, she was deep in meditation. She was in denial that Keitaro had wanted her sister to join her in America. Her sister was an honorable warrior and wouldn't succumb to this kind of perversion. Motoko had considered her sister's divorce, a happy moment…meaning she could take back the school as its leader. Only for Tursuko to leave…after Keitaro.

"That bastard…" Motoko muttered.

The fox of Hinata House downed another bottle of sake and hurled it at the wall in pity and sadness. She couldn't remember how many times she played tricks on him and conned money from for her own selfless needs—maybe it was more than she could remember, if she could remember. She also grew to despise her former friend Naru. For both abusing Keitaro and looking down on her after getting that cushy job. Mitsune remembered their last words, and Naru tossed a wad of cash at Mitsune's face before saying that she washed her hands of her. If she had not been behind on rent, she would have burned that money. Now She was running out of cash…debts were piling up…and she felt the walls were closing in. No longer having Naru as a deterrent meant people were now after her. While she wanted to get away, she wanted nothing more than to see Keitaro again and apologize.

Su ironically had taken it the best, opting to work to better herself. She was still energetic, but was now more reserved. Especially after Amalla opted to abdicate the throne leaving her to inherit the throne leaving Lamba Lu to take it. She hated to admit it…but she was an adult now and her childhood was over. At least before she took to be queen, she wanted to do one last thing…find Keitaro and apologize. Su had fiddled with one of her trackers…having lost it months prior…if she could get it working…he'd find him.

"Come on…come on…." Su said as only for the light to turn green. "Finally!"

"Su, what's going on?" Shinobu said coming into her room.

"One of my old trackers I made on Keitaro…I got it working again. However, this is an old one…so it'll take a few days to do its job and tell us where he is." Su said giddy. "We'll get to see him again."

Mitsune was nearby, listening in…already having a plan as she went in to 'interrupt'.

(A/N: As promised, I got some new faces for the organization to which Tidal Fox now has fifty members, thus I wanted to put up the updated and full hierarchy. (Also to make sure this doc has it as this is TWG's third one.) I also have firmly kept everyone introduced as first name and last name as I realized I never did that for Charlotte and Tiana. Honestly, eastern tradition aside, it's just a hassle I figured I'd just nix. But yeah, more Bully characters have come into the scene. I went back to edit Chapter 29 which had Beatrice appear to rewrite her statements on the fates of some of the students as I ironed out the fates of most of them. As for the Love Hina crossover, one of my favorite LH fics is a crossover with GTA called Welcome to the Jungle by SupseneMaster. It's a shame it was never finished, but I planned to use this as a bit of a spiritual successor, thus there were some changes namely with Naru. That older corporate guy? That was Fukuda. Let's just say, Fukuda played her like a fiddle.)
