Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Superman and RWBY. Enjoy the 2300-word chapter. I do not own Superman and RWBY; DC, Monty Oum, and a few others do.
Ironwood hummed as he looked at the teenager. This girl was far more powerful than anything he had seen. He sighed to himself and then clicked his fingers before he clicked his fingers as he paused once more as he thought of what was going on.
"This girl is not from that world?" Ironwood stated before the scientists shook their heads.
"Yes sir." Ironwood heard before he sighed to himself before he clicked his fingers.
He seemed to be dealing with it. There was something else on his mind, he would not let it have to deal with it for now as he clicked his fingers.
The soldier in him did not at all know what was growing on his mind.
He was too relaxed for now as he paused to classify his options, letting it all come to the forefront for several seconds, guessing what would become of it at the end of the day.
"Get her to a hospital, we're dealing with it for now," Ironwood stated, sighing to himself.
Ironwood had no desire to try and see where this went… But it was not going to be hard to realize just what could be gleaned from this.
The pod alone was worth enough to boost its technology on several levels at the end of the day.
He was not interested in it and this girl? Covered in some sort of clothes that did not mean much to him, he had been unsure of her.
Still? he was a soldier and his first idea was to try and figure it, to find some sort of pattern at the end of the day, knowing what was to become of it. He had been relaxed for now and that would not change, not while he managed to think of it.
He seemed to be dealing with something far beyond what he was used to, the idea of being a soldier like this bothered him.
How did a soldier like this possibly seem to relax once more? How did this woman come to get here? How did he relax knowing the next part of the plan was more dangerous either way?
All of it hurt but it was clear so much would become of it at the end of the day. Such was life and he had no desire to let it all end, either way, he was growing on either way.
Such was life and life seemed good, he had no desire to end it, knowing what awaited him the next day.
They started this fight and he would end it. He had been able to think either way… The only problem was something he could not envision.
Perhaps this was a blessing or perhaps he just could not for the life of him admit he was wrong. Either way? He was done here and that meant packing up and going on his little way for the fate of his people and his country.
To be fair? He could not for the life of him understand this, he did not wish to… Did not want to. It left a very bad taste in his mouth, one he wished to wash his hands off to the end… Such a thing would be easier said than done if he played his cards right… Which he rarely did, intent only knowing if he did not act? People would die.
This girl was… Something else. She was a child, a very young child who looked to be somewhere as old as a student within Atlas… Still? Her clothing was odd.
She held a leotard which seemed to be as blue as his uniform… And even odder was the strange shield-like emblem emblazoned upon it, an 'S' which seemed to be some sort of logo… One which stood out predominantly.
"Sir?" Winter asked as they began to load her onto an Atlesian Dropship. "What is she? She is not human… And she does not seem to be Faunus, not from the look at her." Winter stated before Ironwood hummed.
"I do not know. Get a doctor. I want a report on her within an hour…. And make sure they do not find out… We do not know what she is and we do not know what we are dealing with… At all." Ironwood ordered to which Winter nodded and set out to do it.
She knew that he of all people was distracted… Whatever there was to deal with? nothing would prepare them for what was to come… Nothing, it was to be done in by nothing… There was so much left to shift through and little to no answer as to where and when they could expect it to end in this way… End it all.
Though? One could and should grant the fact that it was this combined with her ideas that allowed them to end it.
Perhaps it was something that made them eager to find a way to end it… Perhaps this girl was a gift from someone and they could not explain it. Winter did not for the life of her know… Nor did she wish to know, only admitting she could and possibly did misjudge things.
She sighed as she realized such was going to bother her either way… And bother her ridiculously at the end of this day and all such days.
She watched as the doors closed on the craft and she let out a sigh she did not know she was holding in at that very moment.
She wished it to be over, she wished not to need to deal with it at the end of it as of now. There was a moment of pain and suffering for her as she knew the choice would not be so obvious at the end of the day.
There was a lot more to see and deal with when it came down to it now, pausing to see how it all now.
Such was impossible to think of but it was clear all would come to a degree that this girl was interesting when it came down to it.
She would not be done and dusted, not yet….
(10 minutes later)
Ironwood was fascinated by what he learned and gleaned from the reports. The woman was a teenager which was that clear from their sort of interaction… However? she was not normal, not even by the standards of their land.
She was from the stars, from perhaps another world entirely, he did not know and he could not know for now.
All he knew was simple, the girl was beyond humanity, beyond anything who could be considered human.
He had learned she was different when most of their medical tools had bounced off part of her skin like it was made of the most powerful stone. Another was when it was revealed her cells were powered by pure sunlight, and that they thrived in it even when she was out cold.
It made it clear this woman was not human and not Faunus…. So, who was she? She was meant to be from another world when it came down to it.
There was something else all to the end, even if he did not know for now. He knew damn well there was something else to be thankful for, the person he had tried his best to research.
"Is there anything we should know about our guest besides the fact she can easily do more damage than any sort of weapon we have lying around?" Ironwood asked.
It came off less as a question and more like she knew something already, there was meant to be something fascinating here and something she could deal with for now.
There was something that needed to be done and something to be dusted. They needed more intel and the best way to do that was to make sure they had as much of a grasp on the topic as possible.
Problem was? He had no real idea of what was going on, not that he could be considered any worse for not knowing, a better soldier.
He had a lot more to see and do, a lot more on his mind to try and figure out… Whatever he could not figure out? The idea of it all was insane and would keep being so even if he pushed it for now and pushed it forward.
Whatever came next? There was something else to confront and something they could and would probably have done something to figure it all out.
The pain within her was going to be equal to the chaos unleashed for now and for a very, very good damn reason which needed doing.
Something about it all? All of it? Well, it became harder and harder to figure out now when it was all over, something about it all became harder and harder.
This woman… They heard the word 'Kryptonian' a thousand different times in what they decoded. The most logical answer was it belonged to their species… Or whatever people these were.
So, this was a woman known as Kara. That was another word that repeated and again in a thousand different times in a thousand different categories. Now? Now it just felt weird.
Winter did not know who this woman was. He did not know what was growing on his mind before now. Now? It was becoming harder and harder to see it differently.
She had been too distracted, too much had been done to figure out now as she thought once again, a small little desire to understand them was growing on her mind.
She looked to the side, something which was harder and harder to think and coming growing and growing until it could not be contained.
She could tell this woman was powerful. According to what the pod could tell her? Kara had been in that pod for a YEAR and seemed only sustained a bit off the planet's son.
She was too interested in what was happening as the girl began to hover.
"Maybe we should implement more security?" Winter heard.
"That pod crashed through a mountain as if it was made of tinfoil. Anything more would not stop her… She wants to get up? I can logically tell you she will WALK through us if she wished to." Winter stated before she sighed and thought once more.
She did not even know what was going on. Not at all, not once at all did it come crashing to the ground.
(With Ironwood)
Ironwood cursed as he realized more and more data was coming streaming in. It was slowly starting to sink in that they held onto a LOT now and for good reason.
The pod was odd, the woman within it more so. It was not from Remnant, a thousand different scans confirmed it, and even then? It was clear that something else became harder and harder to think of it now.
She did not know anything he would guess. The pod? Odd, but far from the ODDEST thing that had come to Atla's shorts. All of it? All of it simply spoke volumes of what he was dealing with.
Something about this rubbed him up and down. He was too tired, far beyond tired… Far beyond anything that could have been employed by Atlas as he tried to think, too interested in it for now and for good reason.
All of it vexed the man who was busy dealing with being a general. He had a thousand different problems and this all was not helping him get anywhere, not when he had to think of it all for good reason.
They had a LOT more to this now and for good reason now, he had no idea at the time being now. He had a lot more to this, something about it all came to the forefront.
She did not want it to be something that he could be done at the time being.
She had been something to relax, she had been thrown off now, something about it all seemed to be distracted at the time being. He knew very damn well at the time being, he would be ready, entirely prepared for what needed to be done.
If nothing else? He held little in the way of words, little in the idea of what was growing on their mind.
Kara? Kara was a piece of the puzzle all of them were busy thinking about… They were desperate to see it through to the end of the time.
She of all people was something they could not understand or did not wish to understand. Now? Now they had issues and those issues caused immense pain and immense ideals.
Winter looked at Kara and realized she was strong enough to kill every single one of the soldiers.
Each of them was something different, something which had been too easily distracted. Kara hummed and then thought of it all before Winter hummed.
All of it was odder and odder as she wished to relax for now, something about it all came crashing to the ground.
Still? Something about it all came crashing to the ground, she hummed, something about it all came crashing to the ground, something before now as she looked to the side.
She would be known as Supergirl… By those in Atlas, the rest of the world would have a very different idea of what the rest of the species was like.
Granted? None of them were aware of these sorts of people existing when it was all said and done, something about it all came to an end.
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be longer and will be 900-6500 words. It will also show more of Kara talking to Winter and Ironwood learning what Kara is. Until the 2-10 months, Lighting Wolf is out!
