Harry's birthday has finally arrived, and the Potter family gathers in their cozy home to celebrate. Marlene, now a cherished member of the family, adds to the joyous atmosphere with her presence. The dining table is adorned with a simple but delicious spread of Harry's favorite dishes, and the air is filled with laughter and love.

Lyall Lupin, with a warm smile, presents Harry with a high-quality wand holster. "Happy birthday, Harry. This should keep your wand safe and sound on your adventures."

Harry's eyes light up as he examines the holster. "Thank you, Grandpa! It's just what I needed."

Hope Lupin, ever the culinary expert, has prepared a treacle tart that is a masterpiece of sweetness. She serves a generous slice to Harry, her eyes twinkling with delight. "I hope it's as good as you remember, dear."

Harry takes a bite and savors the familiar, sweet taste. "It's perfect, Grandma. Thank you so much."

Sirius, always the prankster, can't resist adding a mischievous touch to the festivities. He hands Harry a package filled with prank items from Zonko's and grins. "For your next year at Hogwarts, Harry. Use these to prank the Slytherins for me, will you?"

Harry chuckles and gives Sirius a playful look. "I'll consider it, Sirius."

Lily, watching the exchange with a fond smile, can't resist joining in the fun. With a twinkle in her eye, she sends a quick stinging hex in Sirius's direction, causing him to yelp and everyone else to burst into laughter.

Remus, the studious one of the group, has chosen a thoughtful gift for Harry—a book about Advanced Transfiguration. "I thought this might come in handy for your studies, Harry," he says with a warm smile.

Marlene, with her sense of style, has selected a stylish watch for Harry. "Now you can keep track of time in style, Harry," she remarks with a wink.

Finally, Lily presents Harry with a small locket and encourages him to open it. As Harry opens the locket, he gasps in surprise. Inside, there is a tiny, delicate photo of James and Lily holding him as a baby. Harry's eyes well up with tears as he hugs his mum tightly.

Lily holds her son close, brushing his hair and making comforting circles on his back with her hands. "You'll always have a piece of your father with you, Harry," she whispers.

After the emotional celebration, it's time to prepare for Harry's second year at Hogwarts. Lyall and Hope join Harry and Lily on a trip to purchase school supplies. They visit various shops, including the Potion supplies shop, Twilight and Tattings for new uniforms, and finally, Flourish and Blotts for second-year books.

Inside Flourish and Blotts, they encounter a commotion. A crowd has gathered around a celebrity, and Harry recognizes the man at the center of it all—Gilderoy Lockhart. Harry and his family are well aware of Lockhart's questionable reputation, his false claims of accomplishments.

As the Potter family tries to navigate away from the crowd surrounding Gilderoy Lockhart, the situation takes an unexpected turn. Lockhart spots Harry and grabs his hand, pulling him closer without asking for permission. He orders a photographer to snap a photo of them together, much to Harry's discomfort.

Lily, who has been watching the scene with growing anger, can't contain herself. She's about to send a stinging hex in Lockhart's direction when Lyall, not one to stand by, makes his move. With swift motion, he lifts Lockhart upwards, holding him there by his neck.

Lockhart struggles, his face turning red as he hoarsely whispers, "I'm a famous and powerful wizard! No one should treat me this way!"

Lyall's voice is firm and unwavering as he lets go of Lockhart's collar, causing him to fall to the ground. "Remember, Lockhart, true power is not in titles or celebrity status. It's in how you treat others, especially my grandson, Harry. Now, I suggest you behave."

The warning from the Lupin patriarch makes it clear that Lockhart shouldn't underestimate this family.

As they continue browsing the bookstore, Ron, who has witnessed the encounter with Lockhart, can't resist taunting Harry with a hint of jealousy and rivalry in his tone. "Well, well, Potter, it's amazing how you always manage to get yourself into the spotlight, isn't it? First Voldemort, now Lockhart."

Harry, aware of Ron's jealousy, responds in a similarly competitive manner. "Well, Weasley, maybe one day you'll do something worth talking about, other than just being a lazy prick."

Their exchange is laced with tension, and they continue their shopping, the rivalry between them apparent.

As they continue browsing the bookstore, the Malfoys arrive on the scene and chat with the Potter family. At that time, the Weasley family arrives, led by Molly. She cautions the Potters to stay away from the Malfoys, labeling them as dark wizards.

Lucius, with his characteristic haughty demeanor, looks down his nose at the Weasleys. An argument ensues between Arthur Weasley and Lucius Malfoy, escalating into a heated exchange of words.

During the chaos, Lucius manages to exchange Ginny's book with one he has in his pocket, a subtle maneuver that goes unnoticed by everyone.

Lucius, smirking at the Weasleys, makes a taunt about their financial status before leaving with his family, claiming he has work to attend to. Narcissa and Draco Malfoy, however, choose to accompany the Potter family for lunch at the Leaky Cauldron before parting ways to their respective homes.

Back at home, the Potter family settles into their daily routine, knowing that their bond and love will carry them through whatever challenges lay ahead.
