The adventure Hope had with his team was full of incredible moments. He traveled to Imperial China in Fight Universe, he and his team helped a Shifu train 3 disciples in his Kung Fu art to carry on his legacy, fighting with the last surviving pupil against an incarnation of a demon lord who was a ruthless kung fu master and then being pulled with her to the Middle Ages to unite with the others in the Hero Alliance and the heroes they met in their timelines to defeat the Demon Lord and save the one who was turned into said Demon Lord. So when the Leader of the Shining Hope Squad returned to the galaxy king, boy would he have a story to tell.
However, all the attention wasn't on Hope, but on a certain battle in the training room. What could be going on there? Approaching the room, Hope suddenly watched as SHOCKWAVES erupted from within the room, and he recognized one as Rutega. But who was she fighting? All Hope could make out were furry blurs of red. Just who, and what was fighting Rutega right now?
"Hey! What's going on in here?!" Hope called out.
"Wha-?" Rutega asked as she turned to see Hope outside the training room. "Oh, hi Ho- YAGH!" Rutega yelled as she got nailed by a punch, soon revealing a red-haired wolf girl from the looks of it.
"Haha! Gotcha!" The wolf woman laughed.
"You just got lucky, that's all!" Rutega spat back. "Still, you're strong, Opherla! I can see why Siege wanted you to come on the Future Seekers Coalition!"
"Hah! I'm just glad he let me in!" the wolf girl, named Opherla, laughed back.
Hope then headed inside the training room more as the two girls laid their eyes on Hope.
"Hey, Rutega, I'm back. Did not expect to come back to… this, after the fight that we just finished though." Hope said.
"Hehehe, sorry, was wanting to break in a new friend for the Coalition that Siege recruited. Say hi to Opherla, Hope! She's a Saiyan and a wolf!" Rutega introduced.
"Hi, there!" Opherla smiled with a wave.
Opherla was 5'7' and had fair white skin, blue eyes, and short red hair with wolf ears poking out of the top of her head. and of course, coming out of her lower back was a red fluffy tail. Her choice of clothes was a red and black jacket over a black sports bra, black and red pants, and some stylish but effective black Saiyan combat boots.
"A Wolf Sayain… that's certainly a new one," Hope said. "Nice to meet you, Opherla. So, was one of your parents a Sayain and the other a Werewolf by blood?"
"You're partially right. My father was a Saiyan. My mother was a Goddess of Life as opposed to a God of Destruction, but she was a wolf beastkin all the same as well." Opherla explained.
"And thus, when you were born…" Hope concluded.
"I deduced early on I had God Ki, resting latently inside me. The problem is… I still don't have it fully unlocked. Just yet." Opherla remarked.
"So, there are gods of life as well as gods of destruction. So is your mom the God of Life in Universe 7 where you come from?" Hope questioned.
"I hail from Universe 6, though originally I lived in Universe 7 before Frieza tried to take our planet. I was sent to the Earth of Universe 6, where I lived and trained to realize my fullest potential." Opherla remarked. "The Time Patrollers recently let me see my true home in Universe 7, and I can gladly say my mom and dad are still alive, even if Frieza successfully destroyed our home planet," Opherla added. "And yes, my mom is the God of Life in Universe 7. She and Beerus have the funniest of quarrels when I get to see them."
"But whatever Beerus accidentally destroys, she puts back together, right?" Hope asked. "That's pretty cool."
"Yeah, it is. Anyways, it'll be a pleasure to work with you, Hope!" Opherla said with a salute.
"I gotta ask, where have you been, Hope?" Rutega piped in.
"Oh, uh… the team and I were away dealing with something. We just got back from defeating a really powerful Demon Lord who was born from a fallen hero. Odio, his name was. Get this… Richard in the Unmei force Dimension was there too! But… he wasn't looking so great." Hope said.
"Unfortunate. Speaking of something like that, our Siege has come to a full abrupt halt on that pendant puzzle. One piece left and trying to find it has been like trying to find a needle in a haystack." Rutega remarked.
"But you guys have still found ways to revive your fallen friends, right?" Hope asked.
"To a degree, yeah. I mean, some by unconventional means but we still got a good amount back a couple of missions ago." Rutega said with a smile. "Hey, Opherla, what did you say the mission you came here from was about?"
"Weeell… Let's see… I believe if I recall right from retold events, the whole thing started trying to find Siege, who got yeeted by his evil counterpart who also robbed his memories to a world called… Elyos, I believe, or maybe it was a continent. After meeting our Richard, Siege got his memories back, and, oh! Check this! He's been married this whole time and none of us knew! Not even him!" Opherla exclaimed.
"What the!? Hold the phone, stop there!" Rutega exclaimed. "Siege is married!? When did he and Geina tie the knot!?"
"That's the catch! It's not Geina he's married to!" Opherla giggled.
"You gotta tell me that story later. Anyway, Rutega. While I was on the mission to help defeat Odio, my team and I were placed into this timeline in Imperial China. We helped a Shifu train three disciples in Kung Fu. Two of them didn't make it…. But one survived and is now on my team. But while we were there, I did get some ideas as to how you can improve your Kaioken."
"My condolences to the fallen. But I'm curious to see what your ideas are." Rutega remarked.
"Just wait and see. Opherla, wanna come with?" Hope asked.
"Absolutely!" Opherla smiled, her tail wagging happily.
(Cue-The Shifu Descends from the Mount- Live a Live)
Opherla and Rutega would be led by Hope to a large Mountain Rutega noticed how high they seemed to be going up, considering she usually trained at high altitudes, but not as high as they seemed to be going.
"Uhh… Hope? Why are we… going farther up?" Rutega asked. "This attitude is fine if you want me to do some Mountain Training."
"It's for a new training exercise I learned while here this time. It'll help you increase your Kaioken Output." Hope explained. "While adventuring here in this period, I discovered a good method that would help… refining your breathing and increasing your Lung Capacity."
"Breathing and Lung Capacity… sure," Rutega stated with a smile before Opherla and Hope would see her shake a bit when a wind gust came through, and noticed her rubbing her arms a bit.
"Rutega? You good?" Opherla asked, tilting her head.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine!" Rutega quickly replied, trying to fend off how she felt.
"You're not, that gust of wind shouldn't even be a bother to a Saiyan," Hope said. "Rutega… you're not susceptible to cold, are you?"
"Tch… why you gotta make it sound so obvious? Yes. My biggest weakness is the cold. I don't like the cold, at all. The coldest I can handle is cool, comfortable fall weather. Anything colder than that and unless I'm bundled up tightly, I'm NOT comfortable." Rutega admitted with embarrassment in her tone.
"Sorry to pry. But you should be fine, the top of Mount Aspiration isn't even that cold." Hope said.
"I hope you're right…" Rutega remarked as Opherla placed a hand on her chin before she hopped on over to Hope.
"I think… I think she might be susceptible to the cold because of an enemy she fought in the past." Opherla remarked. "And I think I know which one. How familiar are you with the Shadow Dragon Shenrons?"
"Not as much as I should know," Hope said. "I only know the history of the Main timeline of Goku's world. This sounds more like GT timeline territory."
"It is. How much do you know about Eis Shenron?" Opherla would ask.
"Not much," Hope said. "All I know about the GT verse is that a version of Goku was revived years after the Cell games took place in a smaller body, and he fought that Tuffle that competed in the UFT, Baby."
"Alright then let me fill in the blanks. Due to the overuse of the Dragon Balls, they spawned three Shadow Dragons. One was an honorable warrior called Nuova Shenron, one was a cold-hearted dragon named Eis Shenron, and the one who eventually became Omega Shenron, formerly Syn Shenron." Opherla explained. "And as you might have guessed from my hint, Eis uses ice powers. The reason Rutega is susceptible to the cold is that she took a direct hit from Eis in an attempt to save her mom… and well, as she tells me, she's never recovered from the chill. So while she, at one point, could withstand the cold… because of Eis, any chilling breeze chills her to the bone." Opherla explained.
"Oooh… that sounds pretty rough," Hope said.
"Tell me about it. I'm glad Rutega wasn't with the team in Firené… she would've hated the Kingdom of Elusia." Opherla remarked.
"Ugh, can we move on so we can get this done?" Rutega asked, continuing to rub her arms to warm them.
"Sure, we're almost to the summit," Hope said.
The trio made it up to the Summit of Mount Aspiration, where Opherla and Rutega took in the sights of the summit, namely the view. But they also saw the Split boulder, as well as three gravestones, which Hope Paid his respects to upon arriving.
"So these three… Are the ones who…?" Rutega asked.
"Yup." Hope nodded. "This adventure in Ancient China wasn't easy. Lei wasn't the only disciple of the Shifu. The two right beside his gravestone are Lei's fellow students, Yun Jou and Hong Hakka. Lei survived an attack on the dojo orchestrated by Odio's incarnation in this world, Ou Di Wan Lee, but… As you can see… Yun and Hong weren't so lucky. The Shifu himself used the last of his strength to impart one final teaching to Lei so she could defeat him with us before passing away."
"My condolences, Hope," Rutega stated honestly, still trying to keep warm.
"Thanks. I'm sure he won't mind if we borrow this spot for a little training." Hope said. "Now, to business. Up here at the very summit of Mount Aspiration, the Shifu trained Lei, Hong, and Yun to increase their stamina. And that's exactly what we're gonna do here, Rutega. The air up here at the summit is very thin, so you're gonna have to expend lots more energy than usual, but that's the goal in the end. This type of training will increase your stamina, as well as focus your breathing and increase your lung capacity."
"So… you want me to train here… to help my breathing?" Rutega asked with shaky breaths from the cold.
"I know it sounds weird, but breathing is a key part of martial arts training and practice. Deeper breaths massage the organs below the diaphragm, relaxing your body and lowering its energy requirement while simultaneously giving you more energy to use. So in short, if you have improved breathing and larger lung capacity…" hope started.
"I can extend and break through my Kaioken limits… okay, I'll try it!" Rutega exclaimed.
"Now I know you two might wonder… how exactly are we gonna implement this training?" Hope asked. "Well, that's simple. There's a pretty simple way for someone to expend energy, and that's through lots of physical activity. And as Sayains… I think you know the best way to do that, right?" he smirked.
"You bet we do." Opherla giggled. "Ready Rutega?"
"Hah, sure. Anything to beat this chill!" Rutega exclaimed.
And so, Opherla and Rutega began to spar intensely atop the mountain. However, in their battle, they quickly found out how thin the air was… and it only lasted a few minutes.
"Whew… huff… wow… air really… is thin… wooofh…" Rutega panted.
"Uhh… yeah… woofh… that… took a lot… outta me…" Opherla panted.
"Training like this isn't easy, especially for Sayains," Hope said. "But it does have its benefits."
"So enough of this and… I can push my Kaioken to higher limits?" Rutega would ask Hope.
"Yup. Taking deeper breaths before bursting out a Kaioken will help maximize your multiplier. And it'll make fighting in Super Saiyan forms a breeze too, since I know they take a lot of energy to keep on all the time."
"Thanks for this Hope… I'll… do my best." Rutega huffed with a smile.
A few weeks later…
Rutega and Opherla hadn't been around the Galaxy King all morning, causing Hope to look in whatever place he could for them, however, he quickly remembered they might be at Mount Aspiration, so he headed there.
Reaching the top, he suddenly felt the wind whip up as he heard the sounds of clashing, before then the shouts of kiais to add to the regiment. Seemed Rutega and Opherla were hard at work harnessing themselves.
"Whoa, it's only been a few weeks and they're fighting this fiercely up here?" Hope asked. "Guess my longshot worked! Better check in to see how much they've both improved."
Hope whistled to get their attention, which Opherla was able to pick up easily with her canine ears.
"Hey! That sounded like Hope!" Opherla remarked.
"Let's show him how far we've come!" Rutega smiled as they let Hope come up the mountain and into view. "Wassup, Hope?"
"I heard all the clashing and fighting from below, looks like you two took to this endurance training." Hope noticed.
"Yep! Check it out! Show him, Opherla!" Rutega smiled.
"Sure thing! You ready for this?" Opherla asked as she soon took a power-up stance, yelling in massive power as a red godly aura erupted around her, her power SKYROCKETING as she soon powered up, her muscles bulging slightly as she now had a 4 pack abdomen and a godly shimmer in her golden eyes. "Like it? It's my Ascended Potential!"
"Whoa! This seems similar to Gohan's Unlocked Potential i've heard about!" Hope said, feeling the energy in the air.
"Heehee! I guess it's kinda like that!" Opherla giggled.
"I can feel the energy in the air, but can't sense it directly… you must've found a way to harness God Ki!" Hope guessed. "Makes sense, considering your mom is A Goddess of Life."
"Yep! But, you GOTTA see what Rutega can do now!" Opherla said excitedly. "Show him, show him!"
"Okay, okay." Rutega giggled as she turned to Hope and smiled. "Try not to get blown off, okay? Here goes… Kaiokeeeen….." The mountain shook, and the rocks began to float… this power… it was… INCREDIBLE! "TIMES…. ONE…. THOUSAND!"
FWOOOM!
With a massive wave of red energy, Rutega powered up to the set goal she had for herself: Kaioken x1000. Her entire figure was blood red, and the energy almost shimmered like Super Saiyan God energy, but it could be directly traced, unlike God Ki.
"Wow, Rutega, that's incredible!" Hope marveled. "In only a few weeks, you doubled your Max Output!"
"That ain't all, Hope! Check it!" Rutega smiled as she cut off regular Kaioken and went Super Saiyan Blue. "So, Super Saiyan Blue. Easy breezy." She then went Kaioken x50. "Kaioken x50. Turning up the heat some but… not even close to what I can do now. You ready?"
"I'm ready. But make sure you are." Hope assured.
"Alright. I haven't done this for the first time yet, so bear with me, it might be short." Rutega remarked.
Rutega then took in a HUGE deep breath, sucking in air like a balloon being blown into.
"And THIS." She yelled with authority, almost sounding as determined as Goku did when about to show SS3 off to Majin Buu, as she clenched her fists, and began to power up. "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! HRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! KAIOKEN…. TIMES…. TWO HUNDRED FIFTY!"
FAWOOOOM!
In an even MIGHTIER storm of red, Rutega's Blue God Ki flared with Red Kaioken energy, the two colors now mixing a bit as opposed to clashing, giving a unique look of blue, red, and almost purple in places aura, as she looked at Hope with a smile.
"Super Saiyan Blue, with the power of Kaioken x250." Rutega smiled.
"I knew this would work wonders." Hope smiled.
"You were right, Hope. Sadly, I couldn't get access to my Ultimate Willpower state I got back at the PLT but… I still managed to get a great power boost out of this. Thanks, Hope. You're awesome." Rutega smiled as she reverted.
"Don't thank me just yet, even though it's welcomed," Hope said. "It's one thing to level up and transform into a state. It's another to fight in it. You two haven't broken into these new forms just yet in combat, have you?"
"I had some against Rutega when she was using Blue with Kaioken x100, but not very much," Opherla stated.
"Then maybe it's time we moved on to the fun part. Seeing how well you two can take your new transformations for a test drive." Hope said. "After all, what kind of master would I be if I didn't see what his students could do after training?"
"Alright! I'm still raring to go, as you can see!" Opherla smiled, still in her Ascended Potential. "Wanna go against me first?"
"Sure thing. I've been wanting to see what you were made of, being a half-breed of a God Wolf and a Sayain." Hope said. "Oh, but uh… we might wanna do this somewhere else. It would be kinda bad if we went all out since there are villages nearby, and I don't wanna see a place I saved destroyed."
"I understand Hope, let's go someplace more open." Opherla nodded.
"Good call. I don't think the Galaxy King could handle you at full power either, and I don't want Jexi or anybody on his team scolding us for trashing the place." Hope said.
"Let's head to a wasteland then. Where our fights won't hurt anything but the rocks." Rutega suggested.
"Great idea! We can go to Gokus World and spar in Gizard Wasteland! Though it might be a bit of a trip because we'd have to fly all the way there…."
"That's fine. Let's get going!" Opherla excitedly said.
Gizard Wasteland, Dragon Ball World, Colorverse….
Taking the Shining Beacon to Gokus world, Rutega, Hope and Opherla (in her base form for the time being) soon disembarked in the iconic wasteland where Goku and Vegeta first battled it out for the safety of Earth.
"Wow… honestly I can't believe I'm gonna be fighting a Saiyan at the same place where Goku and Vegeta first fought. This is kinda nerve-wracking…" Hope admitted.
"Hey, don't worry about it. Just let the flow of the fight grab onto ya! Now then…" Opherla remarked, as she effortlessly entered Ascended Potential. "Whoa! That's a lot easier in thicker air to pull off!"
"Yup. That's why it was key to train in higher altitudes and thinner air first. Because now, transforming here takes less energy than up there." Hope said.
"Okay! You ready for me, Hope?" Opherla asked enthusiastically.
"In the words of the Shifu… show me what you can do," Hope said, taking his combat stance.
(Cue: Crescent Moon by Masaru Yokoyama)
Opherla's body tensed before she launched at Hope at high speeds, looking for a strike, only to feint it by suddenly swapping her attack from a strike to a cross claw slash, only it was distant… and was a high-powered ki shot! "SAJIKURO!" She yelled, firing her attack, an X-Pattern ki blast, point blank at Hope!
Hope cross-guarded, being blown back by the attack a bit before he broke his guard, dispersing the attack. His sleeves were torn by the sharp ki wave, slight burns on his arms.
As Opherla went for another attack, Hope dodged her claw thrust and planted her with a full shoulder throw, the impact intensified because he used all of Opherlas intense speed against her as she was slammed into the earth leaving a 9 feet around and 30-inch crater.
Now normally, any fighter would be stuck there. Not Opherla. Her power erupted, destroying the rock structure, as she rushed at Hope. He saw a familiar attack being charged!
"Ka… me… ha… me…!" Opherla yelled.
"Of course…" Hope smirked, ready for it.
When Opherla was point blank and about to fire… she suddenly vanished!
"Huh!?" Hope exclaimed.
"GOTCHA! DADADADADA!" Opherla yelled, firing ki blasts that seemed like shotgun blasts from behind Hope, as he was pelted by some, and not by others, as Hope was sent backward a good bit, before seeing what the other ki blasts were for…
He was trapped in a Hellzone Grenade trap!
"The Hellzone grenade? Lemme guess, while you were with the time patrol, you learned this from Piccolo, didn't you?" Hope asked.
"And I made it… MY OWN!" Opherla yelled.
SHING!
Hope felt like he just got run by a cheese grater! Opherla dashed through him with ki-empowered claws, now on the other end of her Hellzone Grenade trap. Only after the slash did Hope feel the massive heat from an enormous ki explosion thanks to the Hellzone Grenade portion of the attack. "I call that one Wolffire Raze, baby." Opherla giggled.
Hope powered on his Color energy mixed with Ki to blast through the attack, as he was dirted up from the strike.
"So only after you attack me do the Ki grenades home in on me," Hope said. "Nifty trick."
"Thanks." Opherla smiled. "There's more where that came from!"
Hope then engaged in a Rapid Flurry Rush with the Wolf Sayain, trying hard to avoid her ki-empowered claws while blocking her kicks, in exchange he used his Baritsu skills to punch and kick at Opherla herself, as she evaded most, but blocked what she didn't dodge.
"(She fights so fiercely, but it's not like she's completely savage. She has the ferocity of her native animal traits, but has the focus and prowess of a warrior… She seems to be cautious as well, maybe when she's cautious, I could take advantage and push back a bit!)" Hope thought.
"(Surviving two of my attacks… Hope-sama is tough! But he seems impressed, so I gotta keep this up! There's more tricks up this hybrid's sleeve!)" Opherla smiled, soon warping away and zooming around Hope to make him guess where she was coming from next.
"Trying to disorient me for your next strike, huh?" Hope asked. "Well, too bad. Thanks to all that training I witnessed with the Shifu and watching Lei grow… I know exactly how to counter fast types!"
Hope invoked his Lightning kata, before doing a few martial arts poses before mixing his Ki and Color energy.
"Static Net!" Hope said, spreading his arms out wide as a massive domed net of electricity spread out over the area to catch Opherla.
"Using Master Roshi's ki, huh?" Opherla quipped. "Just where do you think I learned the Kamehameha, huh?"
As the dome hit Opherla, the copy it hit faded away, before Opherla was behind Hope, as he turned to see… something completely unexpected.
"RASENGAN!" Opherla yelled.
"Oh no don't!" Hope declared, catching Opherlas Rasengan's arm and throwing her into a rock spire, causing the Raseangan to hit that instead.
"Gotcha! Time to go Head!" Opherla exclaimed, wrapping her legs around Hope's head. "OVER HEELS!" Using her ki to enhance, she proceeded to YEET Hope through multiple rock formations with the powerful throwing attack!
However, just as that was done, through the dust, a glowing blue line was sent forward while opherla was upside down... And snagged her tail while she was off guard.
"KYAAAAH! NOT THE TAIL! NOT THE TAAAAIIIL!" Opherla yelped with a massive blush.
"Whoa! That sounds bad…!" Hope overheard, pulling opherla in through the dust clouds and getting in a good hit to knock her back a bit before he dispelled the ki cable. "Sorry! It was hard to aim for a good snag with all the dust in the way…" he apologized.
"Kgh… damn you!" Opherla yelled as suddenly…
SCHMACK!
(Song fade)
A smack so powerful Hope crashed through ANOTHER rock formation.
"You pervert! Not even taking me out to dinner at least and you're playing with me like that!" Opherla shivered. Clearly Hope hit… a sensitive bit.
"I said I was sorry!" Hope insisted. "I didn't mean to go for the tail. I mean, I've heard about how sensitive normal Saiyans are when their tails get grabbed, but from the way you were reacting, it sounds like your tails nerves are extremely sensitive."
"No duh! That's because my tail's not a MONKEY tail dumbass! Monkeys are useless when grabbed by the tail! Other animals when they get grabbed in the tail, react differently! M-mine just so happens to….ugh… well, you know now!" Opherla exclaimed.
"You ain't gonna win this argument, Hope. You done touched a woman in a naughty spot before you even got to know her well." Rutega snickered.
"...Tell no one of this." Hope sighed.
"Your secret is safe with me~" Rutega giggled.
"Ugh, I… I can't fight anymore, not this flustered! I gotta go work it off!" Opherla huffed as she flew off from the battle area.
"Will she be okay? I feel kinda bad now…" Hope said.
"Oh, she'll be fine, Hope," Rutega remarked. "Just stay away from her for a good while until she gets any suggestive thoughts about you out of her head and you'll be just fine."
"Alright, I can work with that. Next time when she and I spar, I'll be sure to avoid her tail." Hope said, refocusing. "Alright Rutega, since Opherla called off our battle for now, wanna take your new Kaiokens for a test drive?"
"Sure! I haven't used them all too much so let's give it a spin!" Rutega smirked.
The two friends and rivals then took their positions.
"This will be our first match since our battle at the 2nd PLT. this time, no rules will get in the way." Hope said, stretching to warm himself up for the next round.
"I was hoping you'd say that. Had it not been ring out, I bet- …Best not linger on the past. You ready for me, Hope!?" Rutega smirked.
(Cue: The Heat - Dragon Ball Raging Blast OST)
"Im always ready. Lets do this!" Hope said, putting his fists up.
Rutega nodded, deciding to go with the Kaioken that drained her incredibly slowly to start.
"KAIOKEN TIMES 100!" Rutega yelled, erupting with power before rushing at Hope to begin the fight, shooting out massive ki blasts.
Hope dodged all the Ki blasts before blocking rutegas first punch, and then reversing her into a one armed throw that sent her flying.
Quickly turning in the air, Rutega launched off a rock formation and decided to bring out a new attack, dragging her hand across the ground as a ki streak formed, before she launched above Hope, landing behind him.
"Leyline Wave!" Rutega yelled, as suddenly, the ki erupted into a tidal wave like beam!
Hope blocked the attack, but he could feel the Ki wash over him as he was pushed back to a rock formation, pushing off from it as the blast destroyed it. He ascended into the sky, then prepared his own attack in retaliation.
"Blast Blaze!" Hope called, throwing a flurry of punches that exploded into 4 fireballs that homed in on the female sayain.
Rutega merely let out a powerful yell, dispelling the fireballs with her sheer strength!
"Whoa! You can dissipate ranged attacks with just your voice?! Ive never seen anybody from Gokus world do that!" Hope said, impressed.
"It wasn't my voice, if you could sense ki better, you'd know I just used a quick ki burst." Rutega teased before suddenly moving incredibly fast, suddenly surrounding Hope.
"Double Team, Hyper Beam!" Rutega exclaimed, pulling this attack name straight from Pokémon as all her copies fired massive ki beams at Hope from all angles.
Hope jumped up and avoided them all, making the ki explode as he threw a lighting bolt to dispel the explosion. Rutega came out of it fine, having to turn off Kaioken x 100 so she did not damage herself.
"Not bad. But i think you're all warmed up now, so lets kick you up and multiply your Kaioken by another hundred." Hope said.
"You read my mind, Hope." Rutega smirked before energy erupted around her. "KAIOKEN…. TIMES ONE THOUSAND!"
The fierce blood red aura returned as Rutega smirked, deciding to push her limits for the fight.
"You know what's better than Kaioken x1000?" Rutega asked.
"Youre planning to go even higher?!" Hope asked.
"Thats right! I might only… stay in this multiplier for about… 30 minutes, tops. But… I think it's time….. That I go Super." Rutega smiled. "HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
In a burst of red-gold light, Rutega powered up into Super Saiyan form, still maintaining Kaioken times 1000… and boy, did she feel powerful.

"Impressive! Mixing Super Sayain with the Kaioken!" Hope said. "Hows it feel, rutega?"
"Urgh… mixing Super Sayain energy with Kaioken is a bit taxing… scratch that, really taxing. It feels like my body wants to shatter like brittle glass… ….BUT IT ALSO FEELS GREAT!" Rutega smirked as she clenched her fists. "I got 30 minutes Hope, better not waste it!"
Rutega suddenly launched into the air, forming a salvo of ki blasts within one hand.
"Missile Barrage, Mini Package!" Rutega yelled, firing the smaller but still powerful variant of Die Die Missile Barrage.
HOpe smirked before firing off a Super Energy Bolle to counter Rutegas attack, blast for blast, before flying away.
"Lets test your new forms speed! I'll race you!" Hope said.
"You're on!" Rutega smirked, following Hope and keeping pace with him already.
"When trying out a new form, time limit or not, its always best to move around with it first, just to get used to it!" Hope gave advice as they raced in the sky. "Ease into all the energy, then when you're used to it, hit the gas and see how fast you can really go!"
"Yeah! Ya mean like this!?" Rutega asked, having barely used energy to keep up with Hope, before suddenly rocketing ahead with her new speed! "WHOOHOO! I'm as fast as Vegeta when he's Super Saiyan God! WAAAAHOOO!"
"Now lets see how strong you are! Ivve been working on this since the 2nd PLT!" Hope said, powering up and getting in position. "Lunala helped me with this last time, but now this is my first one on my own. Get a loat of my very first Kamehame-HA!" hope said, firing the signature Turtle School attack at his full base power.
"Gahahaha! I love it! Here we go! KamehameHAAAA!" Rutega smiled, clashing her own Kamehameha with Hope!
"Urgh… youre strong like this, Rutega! But im able to match you even when i dont use God Mode!" Hope said. "You definitely have lots of power and potential!"
'(He can match me without using God Mode? Gah…. I guess I really should push it here and now. Really test my limits, yeah!)' Rutega thought, as suddenly, her power swelled more!
"Kaiokeeeeeen….."
"Huh? Rutega, wait! Dont multiply your Kaokein over Super sayain any more!" Hope said.
"Tiiiimes…!" Rutega exclaimed, not hearing Hope's warning.
"Dont do it! Your body wont be able to handle that much energy!" Hope warned, knowing that too much Kaioken overlapping with Super Sayain Ki would strain her body beyond
"FIFTEEN HUNDRED!" Rutega yelled in power and slight pain, as her aura flared massively, as did her Kamehameha, as surprisingly, she was holding it for now! For how long? Hard to say….. Likely? Only a couple minutes.
Hope disengaged from the beam struggle and watcheed as Rutegas Kamehameha sailed into the distance and into the sky. He then sensed Rutegas energy rising so much. It was like her body was outputting energy in a futile attempt to supply itself.
"Rutega! Turn off your transformation! You're releasing too much energy!" Hope said. "Your body cant keep up with the output!"
"I.. I can't! If I turn it off, my body will… it'll break!" Rutega exclaimed. And she was right. The brittle glass was at its limit. Remove the pressure too quickly and it would break instantly. "I guess i really did overdo it…"
"We have to find a way for you to burn off all that energy…" Hope said. "Wait… no! If you try burning it off, your body would explode!"
"Th-then what do we do!?" Rutega exclaimed in a panic.
Hope thought for a second, and then remembered something. "Rutega! Do you remember when Goku and Gohan trained for the Cell games, and they both found away to stay in Super Saiyan permanently without losing any energy or turning it off?!" he yelled over the current of energy.
"Yeah, yeah I remember! But how is that gonna help!?" Rutega exclaimed.
"Were gonna do a crash course in transforming into Full Power Super Sayain! That should let your body be able to handle the energy!" Hope said.
"Oh! I get it! Convert the excess energy for my in between for Super Saiyan 1 and 2! Got it!" Rutega exclaimed, before laughing. "Oh Vegeta if you could see me now! Watch as I bring out… SUPER RUTEGA!"
Suddenly, the red energy washed into golden light as suddenly, Rutega bulked up slightly more, as she was stronger than her Super Saiyan state, panting before reverting to normal and then hitting the ground flat on her back, panting.

"Gah…. Haaah…. That's… one way to do it…." Rutega huffed.
"That was incredible, Rutega! I was only able to see it for a second, but you almost managed to achieve Vegetas Super Sayain Second Grade!" Hope said.
"Heheh… yaaay…. ….Ugh…. So I've really still got that far to go before I catch up to your God mode…? For real…?" Rutega asked.
"If you keep training as you are… you'll be my rival for a long time." Hope said.
"Well… guess I better get to it… after a loooong nap though." Rutega laughed.
"Here, this should help. I brought some Senzu beans in case you or Opherla were wiped." Hope said, bringing a bag out.
"Oh great, thanks." Rutega smiled, taking a bean from the bag and chomping it down with a resounding CRUNCH followed by a few chews. Almost immediately after swallowing it, she kipped up off the ground and back to her feet, smiling. "Whoo! Love them things. Welp, I better get back to training then!"
"Next time, lets work on your Super Sayain transformations." Hope said. "Like i said, you almost matched Vegetas powered up form when he battled Cell in his Semi-Perfect State."
"Sure thing Hope!" Rutega smiled brightly. "I'd love to improve being Super Saiyan! Maybe even make it stronger than any other Super Saiyan form!"
"We'll see. I don't know why it was pushed down in favor of the God forms. It seems way more efficient than them, and less dangerous." Hope said.
"I agree. Hey, maybe we'll reach levels Goku and Vegeta never even thought of!" Rutega laughed.
"One can dream, Rutega." Hope smiled.
Hope and Rutegas bond grew closer that day. Friendly rivals united by the desire to become stronger. Together.
