The spirit that protects the islands of Mata Nui is put into a deep sleep, causing the islands to crumble into the ocean, and Princess Miku must help her friends use the Mask of Light to save it while becoming the Toa of Love herself.

With the Battle of Bara Magna over, a power vacuum has appeared, fostered by the endless opportunities on the newly reformed planet of Spherus Magna. While many factions actively seek fortresses and amass armies, the Toa and Glatorian cooperate to protect the Agori and Matoran species and begin a search for the Great beings. Unseen, however, are bigger threats than anyone knows...

Worlds collide as Makuta unleashes his power against Mata Nui and his legions against Bara Magna. During the head-to-head conflict, Mata Nui presses on to reform the olden planet of Spherus Magna. Down below on the desert sands, Tahu, Takanuva, and Gresh join forces against three armies for possession of the mysterious Golden Armor to bring the fighting and the journey to an end.

With the main threats of Bara Magna placated for now, Mata Nui and his new friends can finally begin piecing together the components of his people's salvation. Traveling north, he finds an enormous maze with amazing secrets at its center left behind by his creators. Answering questions he did not know he had, Mata Nui now must come to terms with his own unity, duty, and destiny.

The once great and powerful ruler, Mata Nui, finds himself in a remote wasteland of scrap parts and burnished metals. He then goes on to win a dangerous Glatorian battle, and is asked to help fight the Agori's real enemies: the Skrall and Bone Hunters. Together with a brave band of Glatorian fighters and Agori villagers, Mata Nui embarks on an epic journey to imaginative new lands.

This story is about the same as the 1990 movie but, I changed the dialogue a little and changed the locations and the names of people from movie to names of the bionicle characters.

Bara Magna was already far from peaceful, but when the Great Tournament is interrupted by a massive invading army, the desert is consumed with warfare, defense, and hiding. After this declaration of war, the villages must rely even heavier on the already fragile Glatorian system to maintain the fragments of good-will by sending their precious warriors to another village's aid.

Sixteen years ago, Nokama gave birth to twins: Ari and Ariel. Before the children could walk, a rogue Portal took them to Earth. On their sixteenth birthday, Ari and Ariel return to Metru Nui and are reunited with their parents, Matau and Nokama. But foes, old and new, are watching them from the shadows. The children of the wind and waves will be tested like never before...

Parched. Sandy. Harsh. The desert planet of Bara Magna is no place for the faint of heart. Glatorian warriors battle in the arenas for power, for glory, and for honor. Their contests determine which villages will receive much-needed resources like water, while Agori villagers struggle to survive in their elemental villages.

Faced with an increasingly dangerous environment on Metru Nui, Takanuva is forced to relocate the Resurrected to a new island. However they soon learn that their new home is not all that it appears to be. One-shot.

Who will live, and who will die? This is the Final Battle. Flying aboard three high-speed vehicles, Pohatu, Lewa, and Antroz engage in an aerial battle for power. Amidst the chaos, Takanuva exits the Codrex and fights for the freedom and safe escape of the Av-Matoran while Tahu, Gali, and Onua work to awaken Mata Nui. The destiny of the Toa Nuva is nigh. It all comes down to this.

After enduring a troubling transdimensional journey, Takanuva finally arrives in Karda Nui in the middle of the Toa Nuva's battle. The urgency peaks when both he and Toa Ignika bring critical news to the six heroes. As they combat Makuta and a situational predicament, the Order of Mata Nui reluctantly enlists aid from past foes in an attempt to bring down the Brotherhood of Makuta.

As some new arrivals come to the island of Metru Nui, hostility continues to mount against the Resurrected. Everything goes to Karzahni when one Matoran decides to attempt something unforgivable. One-shot. Rated T for disturbing imagery and violence.

An old short story dating back to 2009, that I recently rediscovered. I was just a teenager when I wrote it, so don't expect much.
