AUTHOR'S NOTES
This is my first ever tanka poem that I have written that focuses on a fandom of some sort. I had just written a free-verse poem about Golden Cheese Cookie, so I figured it would be an appropriate fit to write a Tanka poem about the ancient Golden Cheese Kingdom in general. For those that don't know what a Tanka is, it's a short and simple Japanese poem that follows the 5-7-5-7-7 syllable criteria. These poems are meant to paint a picture of a scenery.
For additional notes, this Tanka is about the setting of the Golden Cheese Kingdom and not about any of its inhabitants. I hope you find this Tanka pleasing.
