[UNKNOWN LOCATION, AGE 767, MAY 26]
Junko woke up feeling disoriented and confused. The last thing she remembered was being surrounded by the remnants of despair as her loyal subordinates right after getting rid of Chiaki Nanami, but now the super high school level gyaru found herself in a completely different realm of existence. It was something that her mind couldn't anticipate in a million years even if she made a wager with her life on the line.
"Huh…?" Junko looked everywhere, using her true talent as the Ultimate Analyst to decipher where she's at and how she had just magically popped out of thin air with no explanation behind it.
The sky above was a bright blue, and the sun was shining down harshly. There were mountains in the distance, and the ground beneath was rocky and uneven. Junko went to a river nearby, looking down at the body of water to see her own reflection and saw that she was dressed in an outfit that looked like something out of an old martial arts television show, a black and white martial arts gi with a red-bow tied obi over her waist, gray wristbands, and dark red kung fu shoes while also wearing an Xiaomao as headwear.
"At least I still slay, yas queen !" Junko said, with a high-pitched valley girl accent.
As Junko began to take in her surroundings, she noticed something strange happening nearby. A muscular and yet young boy with brightly colored hair was fighting an enemy that looks to be a cockroach of sorts with incredible strength. They were moving so unbelievably fast that they were almost a blur in her eyes. She had never seen anything like it before. A puddle of drool started leaking out of her mouth in excitement.
"Oh…I definitely know those two, Hifumi is gonna freak out if I ever get the chance to tell him," Junko said in her own mind as she searched for a better spot to watch the spectacle up close without being noticed.
As she watched, Junko realized that she had somehow ended up in the world of Dragon Ball and in Universe 7 or as a certain doujin author would say, "getting isekai'd". She couldn't believe it. This was a world that everyone had only ever read about in manga or seen in those poorly written anime that mostly catered to young boys, the possibility of it being real would even be more of an enticing fantasy to indulge in. More so than convincing a test lab experiment to come along with her for the sake of bestowing despair upon the world !
The strawberry blonde model wondered how she had gotten here and what the purpose of it was. Did something or rather someone brought her here as a test or a challenge? Perhaps she was meant to show off her wits at manipulating others to do her bidding or even… Utilizing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that came out of nowhere to battle against the warriors that this world has to offer.
"What a blessing in disguise… Who in their right mind would pass up the chance to fight against Son Goku and the rest of the Z Fighters ?" Junko stated, still observing the clash of incredible energies from afar.
She thought about the possibilities of what to do here now that everything seems crystal clear to her regarding the predicament Junko finds herself in, but then a more sinister realization crossed her mind as usual. This world was violent and brutal, with battles happening constantly. Maybe she was being set up to be killed or used as a pawn by one of the more powerful beings.
"Wouldn't want to be turned into candy by a fat pinkish blob or being enslaved to a galactic tyrant that looks like the thing my flat-chested deviant sister keeps in her drawers… How shall I proceed… Hm…?" Junko remarked, placing a finger on her face as she thought deeply of how she intended to not just survive but also LIVE under these interesting circumstances.
Despite her reservations, Junko knew she needed to explore this new world and figure out her own place in it. Curiosity got the better of her, and she began walking elsewhere, not wanting to be caught up in one of those iconic 'beam struggles'. Although she hasn't figured out what exactly to do, Junko was more determined than ever before to explore Universe 7 in its entirety, seeking out any chances she could get to spread despair.
Her mind then got hit with a brilliant idea, Junko covered her mouth with one hand while forming a Cheshire cat-like smile, " Dragon Balls… That's how I'll establish my dominance !" She took quick glances at the spectators, who were standing at the sidelines on top of a hill as they only cared for the outcome between the young boy and the big green bug man. She first checked her pockets and saw that certain items from her previous world were still there and ran off to the nearest city in sight.
[Capsule Corp, West City, Bulma's POV]
"URGH ! Why is the broadcast off !?" I pouted at the static TV screen, wanting to know what's going on at the Cell Games. I called Chi-Chi, worried that she would go there and try to fight Cell herself. After all, her so-called "husband" decided that it was a brilliant idea to send out his own flesh and blood of a child to fight Cell with the entire world now being placed sorely on his narrow shoulders. Poor kid… Seriously, what was Goku thinking ? It better work out for all of us, I don't want to die ! I just gave birth to a baby boy not too long ago.
After my calls were not being picked up, I heard a loud thud from outside, it was fair for me to assume that it was a good for nothing thief trying to break in. Not to brag but…My family and I have accumulated generational wealth with our technological contributions to society as a whole. "Just another Tuesday, I guess," I shrugged my shoulders before getting off the couch and started moving towards the surveillance room to investigate the matter.
I then saw my father, Dr. Briefs, walked right past me… Pops always had the habit of taking long strolls in the park no matter what day it was. Strange, he normally would have at least said hello to me and asked how my day was going… Has the recent events of everything happening have taken its toll on all of us ? Brushing these thoughts aside as I shaked my head, I picked up the pace to reach the surveillance room.
When I finally reached there, I sat down and watched all the footage of every CCTV camera that I implemented all over my humble abode. Sure, I do have assistants or "slaves" as my beloved rude alien prince of all two saiyans would say, that wouldn't mind doing these mundane tasks for me. However, I really needed to find something to take my mind off the Cell Games for even just a moment.
"Nothing… Was I imagining it ?" I tilted my head at the footage shown on the monitor, it turns out that it was my dad bumping his head at the door, I sighed.
The door behind me creaked open as I turned my head rapidly, just to see my mom coming in, "Geez, you scared me there! What are you doing here, mom…?" I asked her.
"Oh sweetie, I'm just here to ask whether or not you have seen my sweetheart ?" She tilted her head.
I got up with a confused look on my face, "I just saw dad walked by me today so he's definitely-"
An explosion was then heard as I struggled to stay on my feet, "What's going on ?" I panicked before turning around to check on my surveillance monitors once again.
What I saw was my father in the laboratory probing over all my personal files before activating every drone from the gravity chamber room to start wreaking havoc ! My confusion turned into pure, unadulterated RAGE as I stormed off to where he was at with veins popping out the side of my head.
"HEY ! What's the meaning of this !?" I shouted at him, who just shrugged his shoulders back at me, "Just doing what I've been enlightened to do, Bulma," my father replied with no hint of guilt in his tone.
"Enlightened ?" My eyebrow risen at his odd reasoning while clenching my fist tightly, "How about I come over there and fix those loose screws in your head, huh…!?" I snarled at him.
My father chuckled, "Oh Bulma, you should look behind you. You'll like what you see, dear." He pointed behind me.
I turned around and my face lost all colors, a strawberry blonde haired woman carrying my precious baby boy in her arms while having the most wicked grin I've ever seen.
"Shh. Don't cry, little one. Mommy is here for you," the woman whispered to Trunks, the latter who was crying his eyes out. Not because of him being a baby but rather, staring up to see someone who resembled a human but doesn't have a soul in her hollow blue eyes.
"Let…Go….Of….My….Son…" I growled at the stranger, trying to rein in my anger to the best of my abilities, not wanting to risk trunks getting harmed in any way.
She then stared directly at me and said, "How about we make a deal ? You erase all evidence of me being here and hand over the dragon radar and I'll spare your baby boy."
I gulped, not sure why she wanted my dragon radar. One thing I know for sure is that this isn't a negotiation but rather, an ultimatum. "Fine, I'll give it to you. Just please don't hurt Trunks, he hasn't done anything to deserve this," I got on my knees, groveling at her feet with tears running down my face.
"Upupupu. Now that's the spirit," She replied before handing Trunks back to me as she took the dragon radar out of my jacket.
I held onto Trunks closely, "What are you planning to do with the Dragon Balls ? World domination and how did you convince my father to work for you….?"
"Hm. For starters," She took a phone out of her own pocket, "You're not the only one with advanced technology by your side. Just a simple brainwashing app made by an acquaintance not long ago, it only works on those who are weak-minded so I don't have to spill out how your father everyone else here succumbed to hypnosis then."
She then grabbed my hair and smirked, "As for what I intend to do with the Dragon Balls, World Domination is not my cup of tea. I prefer," she trailed off before continuing, "Using it for something more grandiose, you'll know very soon," she winked.
I groaned in pain, "Ugh… Don't kill us, please…" I wept uncontrollably at the sight of this monster.
"Kill you…?" She chuckled, "Nah, you're not even worth my time, Bulma. I'll take my leave then," she turned around and walked towards the door, "Remember to keep our promise ! Or I'll come back and actually slaughter all of you for real this time." She blew a kiss at us before exiting out of my home as I remained frozen in place, feeling nothing but utter… Despair
And that's all for the first chapter. Will Junko be able to succeed in getting the dragon balls ? If so, what will she wish for ? Find out next time on…Yeah, you get the point. Take care.
