"RARRRGGGHHH!"

Morgana didn't even flinch at the creepy-looking figure that was roaring at him. Its feeble attempts to frighten didn't so much as make his whiskers twitch, let alone make his fur stand up straight. He just sat where he was on the table as a frown crossed his furry face, looking more unimpressed than terrified.

"Really, Ryuji? That's what you're going as for Halloween?"

"Of course." Ryuji pulled the skull mask away from his face, revealing how disappointed he was in his failure to scare Morgana. "Can't think of anything better to dress up as to go with my codename!"

"So imaginative…" Morgana muttered sarcastically. "Putting on a skull mask - because your codename is skull…"

"Well…" Ryuji frowned, irked by the arrogant cat critiquing as always, before gesturing towards the rest of the Phantom Thieves. "Some of the others are doing the same; they're wearing costumes which go with their codenames!"

"They are!" Morgana agreed. "But unlike you, Ryuji, their outfits look so cool and awesome!"

The Phantom Thieves were all gathered together at Café LeBlanc - which was filled with decorations, balloons and even pumpkins. After closing up shop for the evening, Sojiro had allowed Joker to bring his friends over for a Halloween Party. The teenage keepers of justice had all arrived in costumes - with some of their attires reflecting the nicknames they went by while diving into Palaces and changing people's hearts.

"Your outfit really suits you, Joker," Morgana said to the youth he was closest to. "Only you can manage to look like a terrifying troublemaker - and a barrel of chuckles too."

Joker merely shrugged at the comment Morgana had made about his clown costume. He wasn't sure if what people would make of him having his face painted white with a red nose. What he looked like could either frighten people - or make them laugh.

"And, Panther…" Hearts filled Morgana's eyes as he gazed upon the girl he was smitten with. "What you're wearing really shows how gorgeous you are!"

"Gee…" A sweat drop ran down the side of Ann's head. She stood out within the café's atmosphere in her purple attire with a cat mask over her eyes. She felt as uncomfortable as ever over the praise she received from the feline. "Thanks, Mona - I think…"

Under his skull mask, Ryuji rolled his eyes. It was typical of Morgana to call him unimaginative to wear a costume that reflected his nickname - but to compliment their leader and the girl he likes for doing the same.

"Why aren't you in any costume, Mona?" Yusuke asked from behind his fox mask. "Didn't you want to dress up like the rest of us?"

"Of course, Fox! I really wanted to wear a costume for this party…" Morgana face fell. "But I really couldn't think what to go as! I really wanted to show up as something for Halloween which really reflects who I am!"

The small animal gazed around at the human's before him, observing their different outfits they were wearing. He was frustrated over having no idea what to dress up as, wanting to take part in what people did for fun at this time of the year.

"Well, I say you don't need a costume for Halloween, Mona…"

Morgana turned towards Ryuji, frowning over the wide grin he had on his face, wondering where he was going with what he had to say about his situation.

"You can just go as what you are!" Ryuji's smile widened. "A cat!"

Enraged over being called what he insisted he was not, Morgana lashed a paw out at Ryuji - and caught hold of his mask with his claws. He pulled it away the boy's face, dragging it towards him as he stretched the elastic string holding it in place as far as he could.

"Skull, get it into your thick skull, ya bone-head!" Morgana hissed. "I am not a cat!"

"What are you doing?" Ryuji cried, his grin disappearing to be replaced by a look of horror over what Morgana was doing. "Let go of my mask, Mona!"

"As you wish…"

With a mischievous smirk on his furry face,, Morgana released his hold on the the mask sending it flying back to crash into Ryuji's face. The stunned youth stumbled backwards from the force, unable to stop himself as he crashed into the café wall. The impact sent a nearby pumpkin flying up into the air - before coming down to splatter onto the boy's head.

"Ryuji!" Yusuke shouted in alarm.

"Are you alright?" Anne wailed, horrified.

Ryuji remained against the wall as he pulled his skull mask off. He glared at Morgana as thick pumpkin juice spread out across his hair, trickled down all over his face.

"That was a dirty move, Mona…" he huffed irritably.

"Mrawhaha! Well it's just as well it's Halloween!" Morgana snickered. "After all, as I always say; it's almost scary how good I am!"
