Hello!
Just a short story that I wrote some time ago, but decide to post now.^^
Have fun!
Something is wrong.
It was a saturday night, and his students were too quiet.
After being turned into a teacher for Class 1-A, now Class 3-A, Aizawa Shouta didn't know the meaning of a peaceful day. He had to deal with problematic children, villains attacks during school hours, students engaging in fights with a hero killer, abductions, students showing up at crime scenes to rescue another student, villains again, students fighting at ungodly hours and a war.
Truth be told, the list went on and on, but if he were to write down every incident, Shouta felt he would spend his entire life stationed at his work desk, and he was sure that that was the last thing he would ever do, he had other important things do do, like…sleep. But right now, he needed to find out why his students were uncharacteristically quiet.
U.A had a dorm just for their teacher, and usually, the 3-A students would knock at his door at least twice a day on saturdays, either seeking permission to leave the school grounds or requesting a new set of keys for the dorm's door. However, that saturday no one had shown up the whole day, and Aizawa couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong with his students.
Granted, he should have felt relieved that, for once, his charges were possibly behaving themselves, but then again, his students were rarely known for their good behavior. Don't get him wrong, Aizawa knew that his students were good at heart, but they were still teenagers, and if he learned something during his time as a teacher was: teenagersagers are like cats, don't trust them when they are too quiet.
The clock on the wall read 9:26 P.M.
He decided to take the 5 minutes walk from the teachers dorm to his class dorm, just to check on them, and make sure that he was wrong, and his problem children weren't up to no good.
Hopefully.
…
No shouting, no explosions, no laughter.
Aizawa didn't know if he should feel relieved or worried that he could see most of his students just hanging out in the common room peacefully.
Yaoyorozu was making tea in the kitchen, Jirou, Hagakure and Ashido with her, waiting for a cup of the probably expensive beverage. Ojiro, Aoyama and Satou were sitting in the living room watching a movie that Shouta never saw before.
Uraraka, Todoroki and Asui were playing cards against Kirishima, Sero and Kaminari.
Koda, Shoji and Tokoyami were discussing something about Koda's rabbit pet.
Iida was reading a book.
There was a weird noise coming from the second floor that sounded like Mineta. The teacher didn't want to know what was happening.
But Bakugou and Midoriya were nowhere to be seen. And that was enough of a red flag for Aizawa. Problem Child number 1, and Problem Child number 2 were missing.
"You are remarkably well behaved tonight…" Shouta suddenly said. His students stopped whatever they were doing to stare at their teacher. "...what did you do?"
"Hum…nothing really…?" Jirou risked from her place at the kitchen.
"Where are Midoriya and Bakugou?" Eraserhead continued, sure that both boys were out fighting again. Maybe those two needed another house arrest.
The teenagers flinched this time under their teacher's inquisitive stare, even with just one eye, Aizawa Shouta was as intimidating as before.
"Where. Are. They?"
This time Todoroki answered.
"Would you like to hear the good or bad news first, Sensei?"
Good or bad…jesus christ.
Shouta sighed. Did he kick a puppy in another life to deserve it?
"Give me the bad one first, Todoroki." Because at least he could be a little bit happier hearing the good one after, right?
"They were fighting." Came the deadpanned answer.
That was something that Aizawa already saw coming. No surprise.
"And the good one?"
"They are barely breathing."
The teacher blinked a few times, not sure if he heard it correctly.
"...what?"
"You can interpret it the way you want." Todoroki added.
"Todoroki-kun, you really sucks at breaking the news." Uraraka intervened, putting down her cards. "Deku-kun and Bakugou-kun were just having a couple spat."
"And that is supposed to be any better?" Aizawa commented, a long sigh escaping his lips. Should he put them on house arrest again over a couple fight? "Where are they?"
"Well…" This time it was Kirishima who answered, but his voice sounded strangled. "...they are...making up."
"I think that you mean 'making out', Kirishima-kun." Uraraka corrected, not fazed by her friends' looks of 'Did you really say that in front of sensei?'.
Aizawa facepalmed. Teenagers. Stupid and hormonal teenergers.
"I remember saying that we have rules here at the dorms." Like, no underage stuff happening under this roof.
"Sensei…" Ashido called, a sarcastic grin on her face. "...truth be told, they never follow the rules."
True. Point taken. Also, he shouldn't give them house arrest as punishment, it would have the opposite effect.
"Where are they?" He asked again. "At Midoriya's room or Bakugou's?"
"Fourth floor." Shouji, Kirishima, Sero and Iida, even Iida, said together. And Aizawa noted that not only the students from the same floor as Bakugou, but the ones one floor up, and one floor down also answered the question. God help him.
"Definitely up there." Kaminari snickered. "Once I heard Bakugou yelling 'I won't do stuff with your shitty nerd merch looking at me!', or something like that."
"Next time," Aizawa prayed that this was a one time incident, but who was he trying to deceive? Just judging from Kaminari's words, this wasn't the first and probably wouldn't be the last time that the problem children 1 and 2 would mess around. "Iida, Yaoyorozu, just call me and I will deal with them."
They nodded. Good.
Now he had to deal with those two trouble makers, and hopefully he wouldn't leave the dorms scared for life.
A few minutes later, the students down stairs heard a loud shriek that sound a lot like Midoriya, a really loud 'What the fuck' and minor explosions that were definitely courtesy of Bakugou, and a 'I don't get paid enough to deal with your teenager's hormones.' from Aizawa.
3-A Class crossed their arms and nodded.
Yeah, Nedzu should give Aizawa a raise.
Hope you enjoyed!
See you!
