Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Bee in the Bonnet. Enjoy the 4100-Word chapter. I do not own Hazbin Hotel, Viziepop, and a few others do.
Vio seemed to lean on the bed, grunting and holding an ice pack to his skull.
"I want something to drink." Bee heard.
"No," Bee said, downing more beelzejuice as Vio reached for her hand only for her to raise it out of his reach.
Vio was too tired, too unable to fight back as she used her tail to push him to the bed. Vio sighed before he pressed his ice pack to his skull, feeling the pain ebb away slowly. Another day of this crap and another day at the end of the rope.
Such a thing, such a thing was impossible. Vio sighed as he brought his hands to his skull, all too easily distracted now and for good reason.
Vio sighed before Bee started to speak again, leaning across the length of the bed as she paused to think of what was growing more and more on her plan.
"I have a plan to kill the next guy, the guy who lives in that mansion… We can poison his drink, and kill him before he even manages to understand what is going on." Bee stated before she looked to the side.
Vio tilted his head before she looked to the side, he would continue to grasp it for now. Bee tilted her head, her eyes half-lidded as she smiled and then looked at the angel who still had a bare chest from not going to a clothing store, too fascinated at the time being.
Bee wrapped an arm around his chest before she pulled him close to her, the angel resting his head in her lap as she looked to the side.
She smirked, her teeth poking through the muzzle on her face, she looked more like a grinning jack o lantern than a smirking princess now. She was amusing him more than anything, and only seemed to push him down the line.
"Ok, we poison this guy… Then? Poison is not going to just kill a high-ranking demon, I know that." Vio stated before Bee seemed to prod at his horns before she sighed to herself.
It was true, poison would not kill a demon lord. They would have to do something better to kill him, she had to relax once more when it came crashing to the ground.
She seemed to tap her fingers on the wall before now at the time being. Bee as she wished to be over it as of now and they had a LOT of work to try and figure it out now.
Bee seemed to be amused, watching as Vio batted at her before she laughed, only being amused by his futile attempts to ward her off when it came crashing to the time.
He of all people was just flabbergasted at the idea of what was to occur next as of the time being. He had a LARGE gathering of ideas and she had no end of amusement when it came to such things. It almost felt like a match made in the afterlife.
Bee sat down next to him as he grunted, his wings fluttering as Bee paused.
"You know when this guy is dead, then you can rest… We are going to throw a giant party." Bee stated as Vio looked over at her, raising an eyebrow.
"How about we kill this SOB then we go worry about parties?" Vio said before he grunted.
"How about… We go get you some clothes like I said and some grub?" Bee said.
"Mm… Later." Vio said as Bee launched, setting 2 of her hands on his skull. "I am SO damn out of it, I feel like I'm going to hurt, B," Vio said.
"You hurl on my leg; I'm going to make you wear a maid uniform." Bee joked as Vio rolled his eyes.
"Why, I'm already your butler." Vio joked.
"Oh, the little chicken wing has some zest to him, some damn sauce!" Bee said.
"You are a terrible boss," Vio said as Bee snorted, rolling at her friend.
"Better than whatever s*** bosses you had before," Bee said with a laugh before Vio grunted.
Vio had a slight frown that went unnoticed by Bee as he thought back to the jackasses who had clipped his wings before, it would make him shiver if he was not around Bee… Was not reminded it was done and nothing he did was amused more than anything.
Vio sighed and slammed into the bed finally like a sack of potatoes, only pausing to look up at Bee.
"I can go clock out on your couch. This is your bed." Vio stated as Bee snorted.
"F*** that… I have slept in beds with plenty of other people, dude. I forgot I used to be a better at being a host." Bee said.
"I have worked for you for what… A day or two?" Bee heard.
"Yeah, well I like having friends… And tying you up was not very friendly. I mean, it is something I can do if you are into that, I ain't Ozzie but…." Bee said as Vio smirked.
"You are hopeless," Vio muttered before burying his head in a pillow. "You sleep here then? My head feels like someone put a blender on it." Vio muttered.
"Yeah… I will wake us up to go to the diner later. Then we can talk about how we murder that f***." Bee stated.
"Works for me," Vio muttered before he began to pull the pillow over his head, too tired now to argue or do much more than react the way he could and would have now.
She of all people was too tired, too exhausted when it came down the line, something about it all was amusing to him. He rubbed at his temples, bored and unable to stop the swirling in his damn mind now, angry right now.
Bee who simply looked at the slumped-over former angel sighed and then crashed down onto her bed, pausing only to snap her fingers which turned the bed larger.
Vio simply grunted, his face too buried into a pillow to do more than a yawn, wishing to sleep before he felt Bee switch over towards him.
Vio hummed before he felt a pair of arms wrap around his bare chest and then felt himself pulled into her.
"I'm trying to sleep," Vio muttered, his wings fluttering like those of a baby bird.
"So am I. I need a damn pillow, I am cold." Bee said as she laid her head atop Vio's between his horns.
"Whatever," Vio responded, feeling her chin tickle his scalp. "Is your plan just to kill everyone between you and the throne? That is not… Going to help." Vio questioned, a yawn spilling from his lips a few seconds later.
"No. I just need to take out the few people who work… For Zagan." Bee stated, a yawn prying itself from her muzzle. "Then we can do something about the rest of his people. I can talk them into working for me." Bee stated.
Vio hummed, his face filled with fur from how Bee had sat them together. He could guess that Bee was trying to come up with a plan but had never really planned to get as far as to start on the path.
It reminded him more and more of what was going on now and for good reason. They were at war… But Bee was finally starting to lead and he supposed he would be grateful for that if not due to the fact this meant Bee was going to push them both harder than they had been.
Vio was simply amused, making himself comfortable and more and more at peace now.
He did not care really when it came to such, his thoughts swirled around his head. A fallen angel working for a princess who was determined to be one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
She and he were too interested in the future but Vio was honestly determined when it came to her plans.
She of all different people was odd. Bee wanted a party and she wanted power. Yet? She was not a bad boss and she was open with her ambitions at the end of the day.
She was an odd little princess, an odd little woman. She of all people was trying to be his friend… Despite chaining him up in her room like some weird BDSM thing, he almost found that too silly to be mad about.
He decided he would follow Bee for a bit. He might split off later. But, for now? He had very little to lose, very little to toss aside now, and for good reason.
He was bored and this little war? Well, he had done worse than help a simple power grab at the time being, of all people was willing to help now.
(3 hours later)
Vio grunted, pausing to look at Bee as he realized his head was on her belly. He went to say something but simply yawned, poking Bee in the belly as he did so, making the demon princess yawn.
"Bee, you good?" Vio grunted before Bee groaned.
"Yeah, dude… Well, I slept well, you?" Bee asked.
"Yeah… Ok, didn't you want to go somewhere? We got a throne to get you." Bee heard to which Vio hummed.
"Well, I am bringing you with me, chicken wing… Now, go get your jacket, I will go get you a damn shirt and better pants." Bee said before she fluttered her wings, prepared for now to go to war when it came down the line.
She and he were too interested in the next move. Vio looked at her, watching as her eyes fluttered half closed as she paused to think of what was going on now and for good.
Bee rose to her full height and she was reminded that she was taller than Vio by 2 or 3 feet.
"We got 3 days before this jackass comes to the mansion. 3 days for me to go steal something to make them puke their guts up… Then? We kill them, then we can move from fancy little apartment to some real digs." Bee said.
"Does that mean a mansion that doesn't hate my spine?" Vio asked as Bee rolled her eyes and put a hand on his back, rubbing at his eyes as he did so.
"Yep, ok, time to party, chicken wing," Bee said as Vio rolled his eyes, gripping his jacket. "You are paying next time," Bee stated, smirking, and planting her hands on her hips.
"What, so I can buy something with your own money? That is a thing to look forward to." Vio quipped.
"Smartass," Bee said, a smirk on her face before she thought of the next adventure, snapping her fingers. "Fine, you can start paying for crap when I become queen bee…. And you are going to owe me." Bee stated.
Vio felt a chill go up his back as he folded his wings into the jacket, sighing as he realized parts of his skin were still showing.
They annoyed him but a lot of things annoyed him, he was not exactly as bothered as he wished it to have been, a LOT more was growing.
The two stepped through the yellowish-golden portal which snapped shut behind them, Vio grunted before he blinked and looked around.
This was CERTAINLY not the damn Gluttony Ring, things looked WAY too nice and vibrant for that, they were silver, massive… And looked like… A place he was trying to cut out of his damn brain.
He grunted in annoyance, too angry to do much if anything, looking at Bee who was busy flapping her wings before she landed next to him.
"Where are we?" Vio asked, pausing to look at the stone-white buildings that were beginning to bother him.
"The Sloth Ring," Bee stated from behind him as she turned to look upwards. "You were here a little bit ago… All passed out and crap, I carried you here," Bee added, prodding him from behind.
"Oh. Why are we here?" Vio asked, putting his hands in his pockets.
"You need a shirt and I need somewhere that half the people don't want to blow my god**** brains out," Bee stated to which she sighed.
"That would be everyone, Bee," Vio said as Bee sighed. "Ok…. If nobody here wants us dead? Why aren't we staying here while we fight?" Vio asked, raising his arms.
"Because I told Beelzebub I am not involved in her power grab… And because Bee steals from me constantly, jackass." Bee and Vio heard to which she sighed.
"One time," Bee said with a smirk as they were greeted by a cloud of blue energy. "Vio, Belle… The Sin of Sloth, and someone who IS supporting me by helping me with the Sloth Ring." Bee stated.
"Wait, one of the Seven Demon royals who rule the layers of the underworld?" Vio questioned as the voice sighed.
"Yes, Angel," Belle stated, hissing the word Angel as if it were a curse. "Beelzebub, what are you doing here? We both know damn well that Zagan is not aware I have aided you at all, the Sins are not allowed to infight that openly." Belle stated.
"Getting some grub without one of Zagan's idiots trying to murder me and getting one of my employees some new threads," Bee stated, motioning with her fingers. "Second? Do not give me that, you came to me a year ago and offered your hospitals." Bee added, rubbing at her temples.
The cloud of dust despite knowing that she had no room to stand on, sighed. Vio who was not used to having his face exposed, simply glared at Beelzebub who shrugged, the princess smirking as she tapped on her thighs, playing an imaginary concert.
She smirked all the same at Vio who sighed as he realized that Bee had continued to drag people into her schemes. She had been tired, too tired to say anything when it came to it.
"I am staying out of this," Vio muttered as he sighed, rubbing at his temples.
"Nope, you are with me, chicken wing," Bee stated before she turned to Belle. "Do not judge him that badly, Belle. Chicken Wing is not that much of a goody two shoes. He downed several damn bottles of the good stuff; you forget you had to pump his stomach?" Bee asked with a smirk.
"You forget we hate angels for killing sinners and everyone else in our way? I lose money on the damn fools who are busy dealing with these sorts of things when it comes down to it." Belle muttered as she sighed.
She knew damn well they had ZERO idea what was going on. All of them had tried their best to not give into it at the time being, he had a LOT to win and a LOT to lose when it was all said and done.
He had a LOT more to it now, he rubbed at his temples before he looked to the side as she looked to the side.
She was curious as to a LOT when it came down to it now and for good reason.
Bee looked over at Vio as the Angel sighed, rubbing at his temples before he sighed to himself, walking after her with it all for now and for good reason.
She seemed to be done and for good reason when it came to it, she dragged Vio with her as she sighed.
"Ok, now…. Let us get to work, chicken wing." Bee stated to which Vio sighed, looking to the side.
"Kill me…" Vio muttered before he sighed to himself, thinking to try and figure it out now.
Vio was simply at the mercy of Bee which made it FAR too hard for him to think, much less act.
"Try not to screw up my damn home, Bee!" Belle stated before vanishing in a burst of energy.
The Sloth Sin vanished and sighed as she realized being saddled with being forced to work for Beelzebub was itself a hell, she and he were an odd pair.
Granted? Belle was in hell, it was just odd to her as she looked to the side, she did not know what he would have done now, and for good reason.
(10 minutes later)
"The Burning Jack… Who names these stores?" Vio asked before he was pushed through the front door, faceplanting into a sweater. "I… Hate you." Vio muttered, pausing to push himself to his feet.
He grunted, tired, and then watched as Bee walked in, patting him on the head playfully as the Angel snorted and simply stood up as best as possible.
He could, knowing he would be hard-pressed to care much for now, even if he had something else.
Bee led him toward the end of the store when it came down to it. He sighed, too thrown off now to argue as he sighed and then thought of every single little detail of it all.
he had been able to relax simply because she allowed it and he knew he would soon be at her mercy if she decided it. Something about that made him… At ease, mainly because it was just impossible for him to find any less amount of fear than before.
Granted, that was because Bee scared the light out of him but he was far too tired to care as he followed her, picking his way through small little piles of clothes… Most of which were blue and vibrant.
She and he were different people, yet? She knew him and she knew he of all people was more amused than hurt. If he was hurt? He would have said something, it would have been different.
Now? Well, Bee had a LOT to explain, a LOT more to deal with, and PLENTY she did not want to deal with now, and for good reason which put him at ease.
The Angel simply followed Bee, trying hard not to slip over several piles of clothes thrown around like a messy child's room. He paused and then watched in shock as a shirt sailed right at his face, making him blink once more.
Vio sighed, rubbing at his temples before looking at a smirking Bee before he crossed his arms. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Kill me now," Vio muttered as Bee smirked, reminding him that he was too deep now to do much.
(One hour later)
Vio hummed and looked out from the dressing room. He was about to try on more clothes… Only for Bee to snake her head in while he was halfway dressed.
"V, get your handsome backside out here!" Bee said as Vio felt heat rush to his checks.
"Bee, damn it!" Vio muttered, pushing the princess back. "Ugh, you've done this like 20 damn times!" Vio muttered.
"And I've seen you without a shirt 20 times…" Bee muttered before she dragged Vio out.
He was silent, he was not able to try and figure it out when it came down to it. Vio seemed to be thinking of it now and for a good reason, crossing her arms as she sat atop a bin of clothing.
Her skin began to bob like an old-fashioned lava lamp. Vio sighed and balanced his new clothes in his arms as he plopped down on another pile next to her.
"You find anything?" Bee heard as she nodded.
"Yeah, a few little things. Why? We have some time to wait until that Pizza place I like opens." Bee stated.
"Because since you are the one buying stuff? I would kinda… Like your opinion." Vio muttered, his voice trailing off on the last few words.
Unfortunately, as he guessed? Bee was close enough to hear it and he was met with the princess leaning on him, her four arms wrapping around his torso.
"What was that?~" Bee asked as Vio looked away.
"You heard nothing!" Vio hissed, his face flush with embarrassment.
"Nuh-uh. You said you want ME to pick. I am so not letting that go, baby bird…. You are coming with me; I will pick out something nice." Bee stated, jabbing his bare chest with each word.
"I think I'll just…" Vio muttered before Bee dragged him into the store, easily tugging him off his feet.
Vio sighed, cursing as he realized like he had been for the past that he was at the mercy of the woman when all was said and done. Part of him was stabbing himself mentally before he clicked his fingers… The other part of himself was thrown off when it crashed to the ground.
He seemed to be done and figured out as he seemed to be done and dusted as he clicked his fingers.
What would be done as he seemed to be more resigned to his fate than scared? If it was Bee? He at least guessed by now trying to rib him was part of how she was… Or at least the past few days had taught him when it came down to it as of now when it came down to it.
He had been done. Something about it all seemed to be amusing him now at the time being. She looked at him before she looked once more at the time being.
Bee sighed as she wished it to have been something amusing… Something when it came down to it as of the time being, something about it all came crashing down to it.
She and he was odd when it came to shove, Bee smirked at him as she poked and prodded at him. She wanted him to relax, to chill, and right now? Bee would be lying if she did not want him to freak out a bit, it would be fun for now and for good reason.
They had a LOT more to deal with than just a pair of clothes either way, she was silent and so was he.
"Fine, just do not make me look silly… You are paying after all and you still want me to look scary standing next to you at a moment's notice." Vio said.
Bee snorted, her irises flaring but she sighed as she realized he had a point. As much as she wished to fool around? Vio at LEAST had to look somewhat nice out in public since he had to at least maintain the idea of a public image.
She still smirked, her tongue flopping around in her fanged maw. That meant NOTHING when it came to private like staying at her house or the mansion they would be taking over soon enough.
(10 minutes later)
Vio sighed and realized something. Bee was funny, she was kind and comforting, and a great person to hang around if someone wished for entertainment and mirth.
Belle was also right that Bee was a jackass and he would be right to consider her a demon when push came to shove.
Did Vio have nice clothes? Yes, Bee had picked out a golden jacket with small little beads that held little jewels on each, a pair of black pants that covered all his legs, and a tank top that had a giant smile on it.
She also decided to get them both matching PJs which he was internally screaming over, small little cartoon bees crawling on a rainbow and several neon lines making them VERY dated.
"Happy?" Bee asked as Vio sighed.
"Ecstatic, Your Highness," Vio muttered to which Bee rolled her eyes and poked him playfully. "Can we go? I am holding 8 or 9 pairs of clothing. That is enough for now unless you need to do laundry." Vio muttered.
It was not a lie… However, Bee would never admit she had too much. She was rich, as most royals were, and considering she had enough wealth to buy the store when it came down to it.
"Nope, let's eat."
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! A few things.
I am trying to make Vio the straight man to Bee's wild girl antics. That and I am trying to show him going from all tense to lightening up.
This is set a year or two before the show and NO, Vortex is not going to show up.
Vio does live with Bee because he does not have a home or such. That and Bee has more servants and staff.
The next chapter will show more of Bee and Vio eating, bonding, and Bee's plan to take down the demon as well as a little of her past… Unless the show changes it. Until the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!
