A\N: My fifth story in a day.

This is my first Suits oneshot in a while, involving Harvey and Jessica. I've always loved the friendship between Harvey and Jessica. Enjoy, Angels.

It's not unusual to find Harvey Specter in the office late into the night when everyone has gone home. It's nearing midnight when he hears a knock on his glass office door. He looks up from his laptop to see Jessica Pearson, dressed impeccably, standing outside his office. He smiles, a rare genuine smile, and gestures for her to come in. she does, and sits on the chair in front of his desk. "Jessica, what are you doing here? It's late." He asks, he knows the managing partner has to work almost thrice as hard as any other person in the firm and she still finds time to look absolutely amazing in whatever she wears. "I could say the same thing." His boss says with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on her dark coloured lips. Harvey stares at her until she sighs. "I'm worried about you." She admits. Harvey sighs and runs his hand through his hair. "Why?" He questions her. He doesn't understand why his boss is worried about him. "Why are you worried about me?" Jessica rolls her dark brown eyes. "Do I need to spell it out for you? Travis Tanner brought HER up today and you punched him in the face." Harvey suppresses a shiver at the would have beat the shit out of the Boston lawyer if Jessica hadn't been there. He just shrugs. "I've let it go." The man lies smoothly. There are a lot of people Harvey Specter can get away with lying to, but Jessica Pearson isn't one of them, she knows him too well. Jessica just sighs and shakes her head. "Don't pull that shit with me, Harvey, it doesn't work on me and you damn well it doesn't. Whenever someone brings her up, which is hardly ever thank god, you go off the rails and do something stupid that I have to clean up." The older lawyer tells her subordinate. "So what? Tanner is an asshole who had no right to bring her up or insinuate that you were my mother!" Harvey snarls, angrily. The majority of the reason why he punched Tanner was because of what he said to Jessica. Jessica nods in agreement. "He is," She agrees. "but it's you I'm worried about, Harvey, not Travis Tanner." Harvey gives her a smile. "I'm fine, Jessica. If I need you, I'll call you." Jessica, satisfied with his answer, nods and gets up, giving him a glare he can't help but flinch at.

"Alright, don't stay too long." She says before she leaves his office. Harvey sighs deeply and closes his eyes. Ugh, as much as he wants this whole day erased from his mind, he's glad for the late night visitor.

Jessica Pearson has just stepped through her front door when her phone pings in her purse, a notification of a new text, and a smile creeps across her face. She can guess who has texted her at this time of night.

Sitting on her couch, the managing partner grabs her phone from her purse and opens her phone. It's a text from Harvey.

Harvey: I appreciate you more than you ever know.

With just one little text, he can light up her face. Maybe it was a good thing she went and saw him late at the office.

A\N: My fifth story in a day, I hope you've enjoyed this story, I know that it's a short JARVEY story but at least it's a start to a new ship that's not got a lot of stories written about them and their friendship. Enjoy, Angels.
