Quick note: Hello, everyone! After seeing the photo of Adrien walking away after really giving it to Chloé, I decided to do a one-shot aftermath of it.

Adrien finally did it. He's never felt this angry about anything in his whole life. And it made him want to...he decided to pay a special someone a little visit.

"Boy, you really showed that spoiled brat!" Plagg praised Adrien's actions, resulting in him finally ending his friendship with Chloé.

Adrien exhaled heavily-it was like an intense pressure was lifted off him. "And I could, I'd just..." Adrien clenched his fists in rage. "Ooff!" He really wanted to take his anger out on something but knew it wouldn't do him any good.

"If you want, I can Cataclysm her for you..." Plagg offered a way to take revenge on Chloé. Plus, it wasn't the first time he'd offered to do so, and even though he caused some of history's most memorable disasters, it'd be worth it.

Plagg's remark made him smirk a bit. "I think that's been taking things to do. And speaking of things, there's something I need to do."

Marinette plopped down on her bed. So much remisine she remembered in one day. She and Adrien had their first quasi-date at the pool...the place where she had her heart broken. Not to mention almost drowning and humiliated. But it was that day that she decided that she made a vow. A vow that she will never tell another boy that she loves him before knowing everything about him. Whether he's kind or not, thoughtful, what he does outside of school and with whom, and knows everything about him. His birthday, all his first names, his schedule, his favorite things! And above all, to make sure that he is NOT friends with Chloé

"I'm so sorry that happened to you, Marinette," Tikki sympathized with Marinette; she rested her body on her owner's head.

Marinette sighed. "Yeah. But at least it explains everything..."

"And you're working through it." Tikki added.

Marinette smiled to herself a bit. "Mmm-hmm..."

"Marinette!" she heard her mother, Sabina, calling for her.

Her father, Tom, mentioned. "Adrien's here!"

Marinette shot her body up, and her eyes widened. "Send him up!"

Tikki hid just as Adrien came up and stood across from her. Marinette knew something was up with him, but it wasn't in a bad way. She watched the way he curled and wrung his hands.

"Is there something wrong?"

With his eyes closed for a second, he inhaled and exhaled deeply. "I'm done with Chloé."

Marinette was a bit confused by what he meant. "What?"

"After hearing from Kim what Chloé did to you last year, I went to her place."

"You did?"

"Yes, " said Adrien. "I was actually willing to give her one last chance to change. And apologize for what she did to you last year. If not for her, but for you. You know what she did? She laughed it off and refused it, saying she couldn't care less about your feelings since she believes it's entertaining to watch you suffer and embarrass you."

Marinette half-way turned her head and embraced herself. "Mmm..."

"It kinda explains some things, though," Adrien added. "How you and everyone else were wary of me when I came to school. Why you and everyone cheered and threw that party when she wanted to leave with her mother for New York City. Why you freak out at the Grevin Museum. Why you always got so shy and nervous around me-I actually thought it was cute, though."

Marinette blushed when Adrien said that last sentence.

"She even said something about how someone like me should be with someone like her. Because she and I come from the same world of wealth, influence, and power. Like a princess."

"She's more of the spoiled brat kinda princess." Marinette spoke up.

Adrien half-chuckled. "I realized that now. Thanks to you and everyone else. And you know, my parents came from different worlds, too."

Marinette stared at him wondrously. "Really?"

Adrien fiddled with his fingers. "Yeah. She's from a rich British noble family. She had a Lady Courtsey title and everything; my father only got rich from his designs. It didn't stop them from loving each other. She even gave up her rank, wealth, and title to marry him."

"Wow..."

"Chloé's been given many chances to change; even Ladybug and...Cat Noir...gave her the Bee Miraculous, and all she ever thinks about is herself. That was when the Chloé I knew was long gone. From that moment on, I want nothing to do with her. The same with Lila-and I was willing to work with you when she did those things to you to try to get you expelled. I just wanted to let you know that because I don't want her coming between us being together...if you still want to."

Marinette gasped breathlessly. He really broke off all relations with Chloé...for her.

"I better get going before my father scolds me for being late; he scheduled a Chinese lesson for me. Then dinner. And I have to practice my piano before bed, so..."

Marinette nodded, still a little speechless.

He opened the trapdoor that led to her bedroom and waved to her. Marinette meekly waved back in return.

"We still have all the time in the world." Adrien smiled before closing the trapdoor.

Marinette had to take a seat in her swivel chair.

"Wow!" Tikki came out of hiding. "Adrien broke off all relationship with Chloé for you, Marinette! And what he did with Lila...you two are lucky to have each other."

"Yeah. I really am."

Tom and Sabine gave Adrien a large bag. "Baguette and sourdough fresh from the oven!"

"Thank you, Mr. Dupain and Ms. Cheng."

"You two are lucky to have each other."

Adrien blushed at that as he left the Dupain-Cheng's boulangerine patisserie. Plagg poked out of his white shirt a bit. "You really are lucky to have each other. Since she's the daughter of the city's best bakers, delicious bread to go with my cheese, especially my camembert, is a bonus."

Adrien chuckled as he got into the family limo.

Those two were made for each other.

Tell me what you think!
