[DISCLAIMER: I am not literate at all so don't expect long ass descriptions. But do expect grammatical errors. I'm prone to them. And this is my fifth time ever writing a fanfic so it will probably be trash. If you have any constructive criticism, by all means, give me. Just don't do it in a manner that makes you an asshole. Anyways, let's begin

CHARACTER SELECT:

BINGUS: a dark red, mobian fox. He's just a standard citizen. But now with rocket shoes that lets him go fast, as well as an arm canon that he can use to turn the tides of battles. AGE: 20

BLAZE: a lavender, mobian cat. She's a princess of the sol empire that has the power of pyrokinesis. She also guards these 7 gems called the sol emeralds.

AGE: 20

SONIC: The fastest thing alive, the blue blur, he goes by many names. But he's got places to go and he's gotta follow his rainbow.

AGE: 26

SILVER: telekinetic hedgehog from the future. He's a bit naïve and gullible. The future he's from is destroyed so it makes sense.

AGE: 16

WHISPER: once the scout of a team called the diamond cutters, her team was wiped out when their leader, mimic, turned on them. She's very shy and protective of the ones she loves.

AGE: 26

TAILS: once a kid genius, he's grown up some. Still an absolute Einstein reincarnate.

AGE: 18

AMY: sonics self proclaimed girlfriend however, he could not care less. In fact, it kind of makes him uncomfortable. But she is a valuable asset to the team.

AGE: 22

Knuckles: guardian of the master emerald, he's stoic, I'll be it a bit gullible from being alone all the time

AGE: 25

After a weeks worth of healing, bingus was in him and blazes room sulking when blaze comes in

BLAZE: "are you ok, bingus? Feeling better?"

BINGUS: "Physically, yes." He sighs "I'm so sorry for putting myself into that without any experience before hand. You're right, I could've died. It was very stupid of me"

BLAZE: "aww bingus don't beat yourself up for it!"

She sits down next to bingus on their bed and puts her arm around him.

BLAZE: "it was a week ago. And you're healed. Besides, it doesn't mean you don't get a second chance. You can still train and when you're ready, you can go on another mission"

BINGUS: "you're right, blaze. Thank you"

He kisses her cheek as she blushes.

Later, bingus meets up with tails

TAILS: "I heard your first mission didn't go very well?"

BINGUS: "not at all! That's why I need your help to train. Maybe you have something that could help me?"

TAILS: "hmm. I do have a treadmill that I use to keep track of Sonic's speed. We can use that to get you used to the rocket shoes. And I can whip up a makeshift shooting range"

BINGUS: "sounds good! I'll go get my gear"

Meanwhile, blaze meets up with silver

BLAZE: "silver!"

SILVER: "blaze! How's it been? It's been since sonics birthday party since we've last seen each other"

BLAZE: "oh you know, Princess stuff. I did get a boyfriend though"

SILVER: "oh really? What's his name?"

BLAZE: "bingus. He's here somewhere if you ever want to meet him. The last time I saw him was when he went off to tails' workshop"

SILVER: "oh? Why, if I may ask?"

BLAZE: "well, tails recently made him some rocket shoes close to shadow's and an arm canon to be of use incase there's any looming threat. Buuut, he got in a scrape when trying to use them last week, so he went over to tails' workshop to train. Anyways, what about you?"

SILVER: "oh you know, crappy future, going back here to fix it, you know the whole shebang"

BLAZE: "oh. I'm sorry to hear about that"

SILVER: "nah, it's cool. I'm about to go raid an eggman base. Wanna come?"

BLAZE: "sure!"

Meanwhile, bingus steps on the treadmill

TAILS: "alright, I'm going to start slow. Remember. Run like you're running in roller skates"

BINGUS: "ok!"

Bingus starts with a jog as tails turns it on. A solid 1

TAILS: "ready for it to go faster?"

BINGUS: "yep!"

Tails turns up the speed to a 2.

Bingus still jogs but a bit faster

BINGUS: "I think I'm ready for more of a challenge"

Tails nods as he turns it up to a 5. The belt slowly picks up speed. Giving bingus enough time to starts running. He's finally running like supposed to as flames start to come from the bottom of the shoes as he's finally starting to get a hang of things

BINGUS: "I think I've got it!"

TAILS: "want me to bump it up to max?"

BINGUS: "go right ahead"

Tails does so. Bingus starts to run fast and faster

BINGUS: "woo! This is fun!"

TAILS: "I think that settles it! Now we move on to using the gun"

Silver and blaze make it to final egg. eggmans base in the mystic ruins jungle. While there, sonic is running through it

SONIC: "man. It's been a while since I've been here"

A door closes just as sonic ducks through

SONIC: "Way too slow! Cmon, step it up!"

Sonic blasts through lasers and spinners. And as he's about to smash a big one, silver keeps it steady with his telekinesis as blaze drops down and burns it to ash

SONIC: "yo, blaze! What are you doing here?"

Silver floats in

SILVER: "hey! I help too!"

SONIC: "silver! I'm glad you're here. Thanks for holding the door for me I back there."

BLAZE: "what door? We came in through the other way"

SONIC: "if silver didn't help me, then who did?"

A mysterious figure looms from the shadows as another giant spinner creeps up on ours heroes. The figure shoots it, much to sonic, silver and blaze's surprise

SONIC: "Since when could you do

That?"

SILVER: "I didn't! It must be the legendary guardian Angel!"

SONIC: "the legendary what now?"

SILVER: "How do you not know about the guardian Angel?!"

SONIC: "I spent six months In a small cell In space. I missed a few things"

SILVER: "Oh, right! You missed most of the war, multiple units in the resistance reported a

Mysterious person who would turn the tide of battle, but never joined the army. Whoever it was saved my life more than once. They must be here to help us again"

SONIC: "So is that why you came back from the future? Looking for an autograph?"

SILVER: "Er... No. I came back because defeating eggman didn't save the future"

SONIC: "Couldn't even play along. Had to bring the mood down." Sonic sighs "Okay, what happened this time?"

SILVER: "When I left, my time had been conquered by the eggman empire. Everyone lived in fear, choking on polluted air. When I went back, the eggman empire was gone, but so was everyone else. there was nothing left. No people, no animals, no machinery only water and sparse, metallic plant life"

SONIC: "well that's… eerie"

SILVER: "I know, right? So I came back to find out what happened. Amy said you were looking for clues and blaze and I came to help"

SONIC: "so did your guardian angel, apparently"

Sonic, silver and blaze notice this guardian angel try everything to break down the door. But nothing works

SILVER: "that must be her! Hey! Guardian angel!"

The guardian angel jumps back into the shadows

SILVER: "no! Wait! I don't understand. We're all in the same side. I'm a big fan…"

SONIC: "silver… you said she never joined the resistance. That she never interacted with anyone, right?"

SILVER: "well… yeah. So?"

SONIC: "so she obviously prefers to work solo-for whatever reason. Not everyone likes being part of a crowd. In fact, I recall a certain princess being like this"

BLAZE: "oh silence"

Sonic turns to the guardian angel

SONIC: "yo! Sorry for coming on so strong. I'm sonic, the purple cat with fire powers is blaze and my over-eager friend here is silver. We appreciate your help, we'd like to help you too"

The guardian angel drops down to greet them

???: "whisper"

SONIC: "cool"

SILVER: "ok but… why?"

SONIC: "no, genius. That's her same"

SILVER: "oh. Right"

SONIC: "care to get the door for us, flatware?"

SILVER: "I said I get it! Don't have to rub it in"

Silver raises the door open with his telekinesis. On the other side, theres badniks galore

SILVER: "everybody, get ready!"

Meanwhile, bingus and tails get the shooting range set up. They're pieces cardboard that have drawings of badniks on them taped to pieces of wood

TAILS: "alright! It's set up! This will test your ability to aim, as well as get you used to that gun of yours"

Bingus puts the the gun around his arm

BINGUS: "ready when you are!"

TAILS: "go!"

Bingus moves his arm down. Cocking the gun

TAILS: "to make this more challenging and since you can't run out of ammo, I'm only giving you 5 chances to shoot, as well as a 10 second time limit. There are 3 targets"

BINGUS: "what would happen if I don't make it?"

TAILS: "you'll have to leave and come back tomorrow"

BINGUS: "alright then. Let's do this"

Bingus shoots and misses the first target

"8"

He shoots the target. Only chunks of wood and cardboard are left

"6"

Bingus shoots the next target and misses

"4"

He tries again, managing to shoot it. Leaving some rubble

Bingus shoots again and misses

"0"

Bingus was just about to shoot the last target when the timer goes off

TAILS: "sorry, bingus. But you lost. But come back tomorrow! We'll work on it again"

BINGUS: "alright."

Bingus, sad and defeated, walks back to the hq.

Meanwhile, sonic, silver, blaze and whisper charge into the room full of badniks. Sonic blasts through some while whisper snipes a few. Silver throws some into the air while blaze burns them to ash. Once that's done, they go for the big guy. It shoots a barrage of missiles as sonic jumps from one to another, then tears it to shreds. After the fight, our heroes notice a

Computer with eggmans face on it. Whisper is about to smash it to pieces with her hammer as sonic comes in to stop her

SONIC: "Woah woah woah! You can tear this place apart when we're done! First, we need vital intel from that computer!"

Whisper looks at him. First, with a hint of sadness. But realizes that getting intel from this computer is more important

WHISPER: "okay."

SONIC: "what did eggman do to you?"

Blaze starts to look into the computer

BLAZE: "let's see here… looks like there was a major update across the eggnet. It's almost like neo metal isn't hiding what he's doi-"

Blaze looks in horror as the others catch on

BLAZE: "OH NO"

SONIC: "WE NEED TO CALL KNUCKLES, NOW!"

Knuckles then gets a sense that somethings wrong with the master emerald

AMY: "knuckles! What happened?"

KNUCKLES: "it's… the master emerald. Somethings wrong"

AMY: "but it's hidden on angel island. That's the whole reason you've been helping us for so long"

KNUCKLES: "I know. But as it's guardian, I've got a special connection to it. It's calling out to me…"

Just then, sonic and blaze appear on a monitor

SONIC: "AMY! KNUX! ARE YOU THERE?!? BLAZE FOUND WHAT NEOS UP TO! YOURE GONNA NEED TO CALL IN EVERYONE!"

Later that night, sonic, blaze, silver and whisper get back to the hq

BINGUS: "blaze!" Bingus comes in and hugs blaze "how did it go?"

BLAZE: "well, eggman has this robotic double of sonic called metal sonic. And he upgraded him to a form known as neo metal sonic. Neo metal sonic has control over angel island and the master emerald. The master emerald is this giant emerald that controls all the chaos emeralds. They're like this dimensions versions of the sol emeralds. And the master emerald also has immense power. With that, who knows what neo could do"

BINGUS: "oh, I see"

BLAZE: "so what we're up to while I was gone?"

BINGUS: "well, me and tails trained for a bit!"

BLAZE: "that's good! Promise me you won't rush into battles anymore"

BINGUS: "I promise"
