Prehistoric Park Animal Field Guide Volume 1
Introduction
Greetings Readers, I'm writing this Field Guide as a way to teach fellow animal enthusiasts, visitors, researchers, veterinarians, animal caretakers, zoologists, marine biologists, paleontologists, park employees including my friends, and the people who come to learn about these majestic creatures from a Bygone Era from Dinosaurs to Ice Age Mammals at Prehistoric Park.
This guidebook was written by me, Thomas Tran, an Adventurer Zoologist who has come face to face with animals around the world. Now my knowledge is put to the test when my friend adventurer and forensic detective Charlie Yeager, our friends, the Toons, and I have been chosen by Richard Holwell, CEO of Nexus for their project in an island chain off the West coast of Costa Rica, called Prehistoric Park. A wildlife preserve to house the earth's lost extinct species.
My team and I go back in time using the time portal to observe and bring back long-lost extinct animals back to Prehistoric Park and give them a second chance. This allows the breeding of extinct animals and for scientists and visitors to observe them.
The fossil record is very limited, we only know extinct animals from their fossils and preserved skins. We don't know much about their behavior, lifestyle, and reproduction; they most likely lived like modern-day animals although we aren't sure especially when undescribed new species are involved. This guide will provide readers to learn about the animals of Prehistoric Park and our ongoing research updating our understanding of Prehistory. With the assistance of the recently established organization the Paleo Zookeeper Association run by CEO and Founder, Austin or PonchoFirewalker01.
For a Prehistoric Park employee, you get the privilege to work with the likes of previous extinct animals so this guidebook provides details and information for each known extinct animal profile present at the park. Reading this book you will learn about their information detailing Classification, Common and Scientific Names, Diets, Social Behavior, Discovery of their Fossils, Reproduction, Lifestyle, Physical Characteristics, Health, Danger Levels, Interactions with Other Species, Cultural Significance, Extinction, Significance Discovery Events, Notable Individuals, Star Ratings, and Their Roles in Prehistoric Park History.
The Five Star Ratings details the ranking of the Prehistoric Creatures based on their popularity among the public.
1 Star: The small guys that don't get attention as much.
2 Star: Prehistoric Animals that make people think they read them somewhere.
3 Star: Prehistoric Animal Classics.
4 Star: Prehistoric Animals that are average that would make you think "If I had to name my favorite?"
5 Star: Movie and Popular Culture Stars than Living Creatures.
Some sections are dedicated to Specimens, Research History, Synonym Species, Locations, and Important People who Discovered and Described them. Once you learn about the Prehistoric Animals of Prehistoric Park and want to survive longer than five minutes, you are ready to start your day either as a park visitor or park employee.
Welcome to the Ultimate Guidebook!
Welcome to the Prehistoric Park Animal Field Guide Volume 1!
Disclaimer warning: This is only the first of many field guides and they will be frequently updated as discoveries or information that I missed will be added when the current information is considered outdated. Intolerant behavior like bashing and whining that the research team and I made a mistake or a recent discovery makes the prehistoric animal we currently know makes it inaccurate, or how any of their behavior is impossible won't be tolerated, so please don't be a Dumb Hat.
Trivia:
-You can check out the Paleo Zookeeper Association Channel on YouTube and PonchoFirewalker01 on DeviantArt.
-This is based on Dadog's Prehistoric Park Keeper Guide Series, but this is more expanded.
-The Five Star Ratings Ranking Tiers is from the Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis Video Game.
The Field Guide might take a long time, like structuring and writing descriptions of the creatures, but also my time in college and spending time with my family. So you can suggest additional information quotes, descriptions, and natural or speculative behaviors for the prehistoric animals that I can make edits you send your suggestions either in reviews or Private Messages.
Examples: Common Names for certain animals and Five Star Ranking Tiers.
