Now we're taking a leaf out of the books – my friends are got assigned to different people and get to somehow see the truth.

The problem is the choice is still up to them whether to believe or not. We all got our work cut out for us!

Seattle Washington, USA

13-Year old Jimmy Bateman and two guys in their 20s sat in a dark attic together, smoking pot in the middle of the night, with the only source of light being the faint light from the window from outside due to the dark clouds that were covering the sky. The boys weren't wearing their winter coats now, as they were too high to notice or care about the ice-cold weather.

Jimmy sat on a dresser, with his feet resting on a wooden chair, the first guy sat on the floor up against the dresser, smoking the joint, and the second guy sat on the floor a few feet away from the first guy and Jimmy.

Jimmy had brown hair that covered his forehead and half-covered his ears, his eyes were blue, he wore a red short-sleeve shirt with a button-up collar, blue pants and white sneakers.

The first guy was 20 and the other guy was 21.

The first guy started coughing from the smoke coming from the joint he was smoking. He then handed the joint to the second guy, who began to smoke it. The second then blew smoke out of his mouth, with his eyes closed. He opened his eyes and handed the joint back to the first guy, who handed it to Jimmy, who took it and began to smoke it.

Jimmy blew smoke out of his mouth before handing the joint back to the first guy.

The first guy looked at an old can of spray-paint on the dresser. "Jimmy, you ever sniff that stuff?" He asked Jimmy, looking at him.

"What, spray-paint?" Jimmy asked.

"It's good, man. You might cough or sneeze, but..." The second guy stopped himself. "Do you have any white-out? That stuff'll get you so buzzed."

The first guy coughed due to the smoke from the joint once again.

"Never tried it." Jimmy said.

"Let's go see what kind of hair-spray we can loot from one of the stores. There's this one brand...you cannot believe. All older women have it, but all deodorants are the same. No difference." The second guy explained.

"You smoke deodorant?" Jimmy asked.

"No. Sniff 'em. Or just spray into my nose or mouth. The fumes." The second guy said.

"Oh." Jimmy said.

"Who wants to try it?" The second guy asked.

"I do." The first guy said, raising his right hand before putting it down.

"I think I'll pass. Besides, I need to get going anyway." Jimmy said.

"Your loss." The second guy said.

Jimmy got up off the dresser, stood in the chair, stepped down onto the floor, picked up, walked over to the door, opened it, and exited the room, closing the door back afterwards.

Jimmy, now wearing his coat, exited the building, which was an old abandoned house, and he closed the door back. He was in the hood side of Seattle.

"Jimmy?" Came a male voice, making Jimmy freeze where he stood. "Is that you?"

Jimmy turned to his right to see a black dark skinned man dressed for the winter. A man he knew all too well. This was Berni Cook, the CPS social worker he had been assigned to until the man could find him a stable home life. Lot of good that did.

"It is. It is you." Berni said, happy to see Jimmy alive and well.

Jimmy then turned and took off running.

"Jimmy, wait!" Berni before chasing after the boys.

Jimmy ran through the hood of town as the CPS worker chased him down.

"Jimmy! Hey!" Berni called while running after him. "Come back!"

Jimmy, however, just kept running.

"Jimmy! Jimmy!" Berni said as he kept running after him.

Jimmy spotted an alley up ahead and ran towards it.

Berni watched as Jimmy ran towards the alley.

"JIMMY!" Berni screamed as he rushed towards the boy.

Jimmy ran into the alley.

"JIMMY, STOP!" Berni screamed as he ran into the alley after the boy. "STOP!"

Jimmy turned a corner and ran down another alley.

"JIMMY, STOP! JIMMY! STOP! JIMMY! WAIT! JIMMY!" Berni shouted before reaching the corner of the other alley and rushing down it where he saw Jimmy turn another corner.

Jimmy rushed down the other alley but soon came to a stop when he saw brick wall in ahead of him. He was trapped.

"Jimmy!" Came the voice of Berni from behind.

A now fearful Jimmy turned to face Berni, who stood at the entrance of the alley.

Berni rushed towards Jimmy.

"Stop!" Jimmy shouted, making the man stop in his tracks.

"What's wrong?" Berni asked, concerned.

Jimmy didn't say anything.

"Thank goodness you're alright." Berni said. "I've been looking everywhere for you." He said as he started walking towards Jimmy.

"That's close enough." Jimmy said, making Berni stop again, this time a few feet away from the boy.

"What is it? Why do you look so scared?" Berni asked.

"Mr. Cook...I think it would be in your best interest if you stayed away from me. You need to get out of here." Jimmy warned.

"I'm not going anywhere." Berni said.

"Please, you have to g-"

"I'm not going anywhere until I know you're somewhere safe." Berni said, cutting Jimmy off.

Jimmy looked behind Berni and became more afraid.

Berni turned around and saw seven Japanese kids, all boys, standing in the entrance of an alley, all dressed for the winter and wearing red kanji tattoos either on their right or left hands or foreheads. All of the kids were Japanese, four of them were teens and three of them were pre-teens.

It was clear as day to Berni that they were all street kids. Maybe even part of a gang. They had the look. He had worked with many street kids and kids in gangs and drug rings over the years and recognized one when he saw them. But what were they doing here in the alley? A net then landed on him, bringing him out of his thoughts.

The kids then ran up to Berni, with two of the pre-teens bighting him, followed by tackling him to the ground.

Jimmy looked up at one of the buildings and saw five Japanese teens, all boys, stand on the roof, all dressed for the winter. They had been the ones to throw the net on Berni. The 13-year old boy looked down at the net trapped Berni, and two of the teens started punching him In the head. They kept punching him over and over and over and over again...until he blacked out.

A battered Bernie awoke to four black teenager-boys surrounding him, all wearing red kanji tattoo on their right or left hands or foreheads. He looked around and saw that he was in a room filled with teens and pre-teens, all boys, some white, some black, some Mexican, some Korean and most Japanese, all baring the red kanji tattoo. There were more teenagers in the room than there were pre-teens, and all of the kids were dressed in gang outfits. There was an electric wireless heater on, keeping the room warm, so they weren't wearing winter clothing. The walls were spray-painted with graffiti. But what were all these kids doing here?

Bernie looked at his wrist and ankles and saw that they were tied. He realized he was tied to a torture-wrack. "What's going on? Let me go right now!" He said. The CPS social worker looked to his right and saw a frightened Jimmy, not wearing his coat, sitting in a corner, with his arms wrapped around his legs. "Jimmy. Jimmy, please, Jimmy. Help me."

Tears filled Jimmy's eyes and his lips quivered. "I'm so sorry, Bernie. I can't."

"What?!" Berni gasped. "Please help me!"

The tears ran down Jimmy's face. "I warned you, Berni! I told you to stay away from me!" He said before showing the palm of his right hand, revealing a red kanji tattoo in it. He had tried to save Berni by warning him, but he didn't take heed to his warning. Saving him was out of his hands now, it was all on his head.

Berni was shocked. Jimmy had the kanji tattoo just like all these other kids. He was in this gang and now they had captured him. But he couldn't fault the boy for him ending up in this situation. He tried to warn him. He couldn't deny that. "Jimmy, what are they doing?"

The four black teens surrounding Berni both went to the ends of the wracks.

"No, no. No." Berni said. "Oh, no."

The four teens grabbed the handles and ends of the wrack and began to stretch Berni out.

"AAHH! That hurts! Please!" Berni said in pain.

The teens stretched Berni out further.

Berni screamed. "No! No!"

The teens stretched him out some more, this time past his limit, with the sound of his bones cracking.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Berni screamed, making Jimmy shut his eyes tight. "No! No! AAHH! That hurts! Please!"

The teens stretched Berni out even more, his bones cracking and the sound of the ropes tightening.

Berni screamed louder.

Jimmy placed his hands over his ears, his eyes still squeezed shut.

The teens kept stretching Berni out as he screamed more and more.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Berni screamed as his arms and legs were snapped out of joint. His screams then subsided. He hadn't died, his arms and legs had just gone numb.

The teens then ceased stretching Berni out.

Jimmy opened his eyes, took his hands off his ears, and looked at Berni as he wrapped his arms around his legs.

"CPS. Wow. What a coincidence." Said one of the four black boys before punching Berni in the face. He reached in his right pants pocket and got out a box-cutter. The teenager used the box-cutter to cut the social worker's shirt open, exposing his torso.

Berni looked at Jimmy. "This wasn't your fault, Jimmy. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I couldn't find you a good home like I promised you over and over again. And I'm sorry for all those bad foster homes and foster parents I un-knowingly placed you into. I'm sorry I can't save you from this gang. I'm sorry I let you down."

More tears ran down Jimmy's face, touched by Berni's heart-felt statement.

The boy with the box-cutter then started cutting on Berni's torso.

"AAHH!" Berni screamed.

Jimmy buried his face in his knees, not wanting to watch the grizzly scene anymore.

"AAAHHH!" Berni screamed in agony and pain as he felt the box-cutter cut into his torso. And in that moment of suffering, he realized what he had done. He'd finally found Jimmy after searching for him a whole year. He had found the runaway foster kid, and as a result, he had buried himself. And one was ever going to find him.

Seattle, Washington

4 Months Later...

Seattle was a seaport city on the West Coast of the United States. It was the seat of King County, Washington. It was the most populous city in both the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Before the vanishings two years ago, the Seattle metropolitan area's population was 4.02 million, making it the 15th largest in the United States. What the population number was now was not known. The entire city was covered with snow due to the global ice-cold weather.

A 10-year old American boy was skate-boarding through a snow-covered alley on his skate-board and soon came to a stop at the back door of a building where he stepped off his board and picked it up, followed by knocking on the door and waiting for someone to answer. He had blue eyes, hot rod flame face-paint around his eyes, black fang-shaped face-paint on his face from the corner of his eyes, he wore a yellow skate-board helmet, a red long sleeve hood, black pants, gray/black sneakers, he had on a white one-strap backpack, and he had a red kanji tattoo on the thumb side of his right hand.

After a moment of waiting, the door opened, revealing a Japanese man dressed in winter clothing. "Oh, Flame, it's you. Important job today. You get to work for us and the New World Order." He said before holding up pink WANTED posters of the Sailor Senshi, with 23000 dollar reward at the top. He also had a red kanji tattoo on the back of his right hand. "Hot off the presses."

The boy known as Flame took the posters from the man and looked at them. "Aren't these the moon aliens the GC are looking for?"

"Yeah. They're wanted for various crimes against the world." The man said.

"Are they really dangerous?" Flame asked while putting the posters in his backpack.

"They're aliens from outer space. As far as I'm concerned, they are dangerous." The man said. "Go on, get those posters up. I'll see if I can get the boss to cough up another 3000 dollars if you get them all posted by 5:00."

"Thanks, Mr. Renjiro. I mean..." Flame said, realizing his mistake. "arigato, Misuta-Renjiro." He said, bowing like a karate student in a dojo, keeping his eyes on Renjiro. The boy then turned, got on his board, and rode it back down the alley street.

Standing at the edge of the roof of a building in the alley, Sailor Pluto and Jupiter looked down at Flame as he rode off on his skate-board. Having just witnessed the breif conversation between him and the Japanese man, the Senshi duo watched the boy intently.

Jupiter gazed down at the boy curiously. "That did...his name is Hot Rod Flame...right?"

"No." Pluto began. "All I know is that this boy is caught up in a really bad situation. I'm not sure what, but I know we need to share the truth with him about what's really happening in the world. And fast. I just got word from Queen Serenity that the 5th Trumpet Judgement is fast approaching rapidly. I have no idea when it'll happen, but from the way the Queen was talking, it sounds like it's not too far away."

"How close is it?" Jupiter asked.

"Let me put it this way: At this point...it's like the Rapture." Pluto said.

"So in other words, it could happen at any moment without warning." Jupiter said.

"Without warning." Pluto said.

"And that's why we're here?" Jupiter asked.

"Yes. God sent you here. He sent me and he sent Sailor Moon. She has her job, I have my job, and you have your's. You stay close to Brenden. Don't let him out of your sight." Pluto said.

Jupiter nodded. "Alright."

Pluto then disappeared in a flash of black light, leaving Jupiter on the roof by herself to begin her assignment.

Jupiter looked out at the snow-covered city of Seattle with a serious look, determined not to fail this mission.

Back in the alley, Flame skated over to the brick-wall of a building, got one of the pink wanted posters out of his backpack with a roll of black tape and a pair of scissors, used them to cut a strip off, put the scissors back in his pack, and used the strip of tape to stick the poster to the wall, followed by placing the tape back inside his backpack and skating off to his next destination.

The poster read $23000 REWARD at the top, the bottom the picture of the Senshi read 'For information leading to the whereabouts of THE SAILOR SENSHI', and the bottom of the poster read 'PLEASE CALL 666-06-60'.

At the same time, Jupiter was hoping from building, careful not to lose sight of Flame or be noticed by people below.

On the sidewalk, out of the alley, Flame skated over to an electric-pole, holding another poster and a stapler, and stapled the poster to the pole like he had done to three others, then resumed skating on his board.

Elsewhere in Seattle, a slightly heavy-set woman with brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes, dressed for the winter, carrying a black folder, as well as carrying a brown messenger-bag on her left arm, walked down the sidewalk, followed by walking up to a building titled 'OTIS'S', and knocked on the door.

"We're not open yet!" Said a slightly heavy-set man inside, standing behind the check-out counter. He had brown hair, blue eyes and a brown goatee.

"Excuse me! I'm with the department of Child Services!" Said the woman.

"I don't have any children!" said the man.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?!" The woman asked.

The man walked from behind the counter and went and opened the door. "Yeah?"

"Sorry to bother you..." The said as she opened her folder. "but I'm looking for a young boy." She said as she got out a head-shot photo of a young boy out of her folder and showed it to the man. The boy had brown hair and blue eyes.

"What'd he do?" The man asked.

"He's a runaway. He ran away from a foster home that got destroyed in the earthquake/meteor shower." The woman answered. "Unfortunately, his mother died in the war last year. They tell me that he loves to skate-board. Are you sure you haven't seen him? His name is Brenden, he's 10."

"What are you gonna do when you find him?" The man asked.

"Well, unfortunately, at his age, few children are adopted, so I'll have to find him another foster home." The woman said.

"If I see him, I'll give you a call." The man said.

"Oh, thank you, Mr., uh-"

"Plan. Otis Plan." Said the man, revealing his name, cutting the woman off.

"Mr. Plan." Said the woman. "I'll just leave you my card." She said as she reached inside her folder, got out a white card, and handed it to Otis.

"Oh, okay." Otis said.

"Thank you. Thank you." The said before placing the picture of Brenden back in her folder and walking off as Otis closed the door.

Across the street, on the other sidewalk, Setsuna and Usagi, both dressed for the winter, had been watching the scene play out between the woman and the male owner of the building.

"What was that all about?" Usagi asked.

"That's Bartha Coral. She's with the department of GC Social Services." Setsuna answered.

"The GC? What's she doing here?" Usagi asked.

"She's trying to find a boy who was placed in her care last year after his mother perished in the war. He ran away from a foster home when it got destroyed in the earthquake/meteor shower. She's been looking for him ever since." Setsuna explained.

"Oh, Setsuna, those poor people at the foster home." Usagi said as emotional pain welled up in her heart.

Setsuna nodded in agreement.

"It's all over for them." Usagi said.

"For them, yes." Setsuna said. "But it was just beginning for Brenden. And not in a good way. Unless a good home is found for him quickly, he will be recruited and brainwashed by the unknown criminal organization that's plaguing Seattle as we speak."

"What criminal organization? What are you talking about?" Usagi asked, confused.

"And now, reporting live from the Seattle News Station, here's April O'Bryan." Came a male voice.

Usagi and Setsuna turned to several small TVs stacked on top of each other in the display window of a store, and they all showed a female News anchor woman with blond shoulder-length hair and blue eyes, with a banner at the bottom of the screens that read 'APRIL O'BRYAN'.

"Much more than just a series of small isolated incidents, it's now apparent that an organized criminal element is at work. And at the moment, business is good. So good, in fact, that there appear to be no eye-witnesses to any of these crimes. With complaints ranging from purse-snatching to breaking and entering, police switch-boards have been filled with the angry voices of more and more citizens of Seattle who have fallen prey to the recent surge of crime that continues to plague the city." Said the anchor woman known as April O'Bryan. "Instead of getting better, things have actually gotten worse. Even more alarming is baffling and often bizarre nature of these crimes. Merchandise of every size and description from skate-boards to stereo-systems has been disappearing from store-shelves and storage areas at an alarming rate. Even the victims themselves rarely catch a glimpse of the thieves. Many do not even know they've been victimized until it was too late. In fact, police have yet to come up with a single eye-witness. Only a few vague reports of young boys or teenagers at the scenes have been filed. But whoever is behind these crimes, one thing is certain. These are much more than just a series of random isolated incidents. Crimes without criminals? An invisible gang at work? Who we gonna call? Unfortunately, the police are the only ones available to combat what some are already dubbing "The Silent Crime Wave". But perhaps the most disturbing silence is that coming from City Hall. April O'Bryan, Seattle News."

Setsuna and Usagi just stared at the TV screens through the display window, with the 18-year old blond baring a sad expression on her face.

"I can forget I'm a super-hero sometimes." Usagi thought. "It feels good to do that even if I'm only pretending to be normal. But then I see something like this and remember...we can't look away. We can't forget. The enemy is everywhere."

Back in the Senshi Command center, the refugees, minus Alex and the other four kids from Camp One World, were in the dark command-room with Luna and Artemis, with the only source of light being their lit lanterns resting on the floor, listening to the News broadcast on a 1970s radio resting on the floor, plugged in the control-panel, that Sailor Moon had picked up while she, Jupiter and Venus were shopping for things to stock up on. All wrapped in quilts and wearing mittens, the kids were sitting on the floor, Maryanne, Jason and Josie sat on the sofa, with her in the middle, Luna sat on the stool and Artemis stood beside her. An electric heater was on and plugged into the control-panel.

Among the kids sitting on the floor, wrapped in quilts and wearing mittens, were four other kids the Senshi had rescued and brought here over the last four months after the ASTRO-V epidemic hit and infected their home-towns. Their names were Johnny West, Michael Webster, Courtland Man, Max Noel, and Al Hilden.

Johnny was 10, had light brown hair and blue eyes and was from Baldwin-Louisiana.

Michael was 11, had long neck-length light brown hair and blue eyes and was from Mankato-Minnesota.

Courtland was 10, had light brown hair and brown eyes and was from Barberton-Ohio.

Max was 9, had dark brown wavy hair and brown eyes and was from Carrington-North Dakota.

And

Al was 9, had light brown hair and brown eyes and was from Philadelphia-Pennsylvania.

All of these kids had lit lanterns resting on the floor like everyone else did.

The News broadcast everyone was listening to on the 70s radio regarding the global winter and the new ASTRO-V infected communities in America.

"Due to the global ice-cold weather, many of the ASTRO-V infected adults of the newest polluted communities of Louisiana, Minnesota, Ohio, North Dakota and Pennsylvania have perished and more will continue to do so over the coming days." Explained the voice of an American woman on the radio. "There is still no official explanation for the mysterious virus that's plaguing America that has now resulted in 1000 deaths. The global winter has made it impossible for anyone to travel by vehicle, plane, helicopter or jet, meaning there's no way to evacuate the non-infected citizens of the new ASTRO-V poisoned communities. Countries world-wide are also reporting massive fatalities and black-outs as a result of the ice-cold winter as the temperature continues to drop."

"Everyone!" Came the voice of Alex, followed by Luna and Artemis turned to see him, Derek, Gary, Zea and Shingo rush into the room, wrapped in quilts and carrying lanterns.

"What is it, what's wrong?" Luna asked.

"Pull up Sailor Moon Says right now." Alex said.

"Yeah. It's very important." Derek said.

"Okay." Luna said before she turned back to the control-panel and pressed a button. A screen then appeared between two of the pillars of the panel and typed in Sailor Moon Says and hit enter, followed by the podcast sight appearing on-screen, revealing a video titled 'CHAOS IN JACKSONVILLE'. Artemis hopped onto the panel and Luna moved the arrow with the dashboard onto the video and clicked on it, making it play.

'Kids SPECIAL REPORT ' appeared on the video screen, followed by being replaced by a 10-year old boy dressed for the winter, baring the seal on his forehead, sitting at his desk in his bedroom. He had brown hair and brown eyes.

"Greetings, Sailor Scouts. I'm Cole Fiber. My friends and I made this video to bring you this special report. Trouble in paradise. That's what some kids are saying here in Jacksonville-Florida in the aftermath of adults are gone celebration. Here's Henry Dalton." Said the boy known as Cole.

The scene then changed to a 10-year boy standing outside, baring the seal on his forehead, holding a wireless microphone. He had light brown hair that half-covered his ears and forehead, his eyes were blue, and was dressed for the winter. This was obviously Henry Dalton. "Good evening, Sailor Scouts, I'm Henry Dalton. What started out as an awesome celebration has become a major bummer."

"Help us!" A panicking teen-boy hollered as he ran past the view of the camera.

"I don't know how to make lunch!" shouted another panicking teen-boy as he too ran past the view of the camera.

"I want my parents!" A teenage-girl wailed as she ran past the camera's view.

"Somebody help me!" A third teen-boy said, getting in front of the camera and shaking it.

The scene changed to Henry interviewing a crying teenage-girl, holding the mic in front of her.

"I was looking for my parents and the next thing I knew, this gang of boys came out of hiding and jumped me and stole my backpack." The girl said in tears.

The scene changed to an 11-year old boy standing outside, holding a wireless microphone and dressed for the winter. He had long stringy neck-length blond hair and brown eyes. "Hi. I'm Quinn Rider. Reports of rioting, looting, home invasions and gang violence at the hands of other kids or teens have reached epidemic numbers over the past four months, with zero indication of slowing down."

"Yeah. That's what happens when there are no adults around to supervise or set boundaries." Kenji said.

The scene had now changed to Quinn standing in front of a high/drunk crying 13-year old boy, holding a mic in front of him.

"And-and so...we were gonna see who could smoke the most weed and drink the most vodka." The 13-year old high/drunk boy said before letting out a brief sob. "And I won." He said before sobbing. "I want my Mommy."

"Could you please turn that off?" Ikuko asked, her spirit now disturbed from watching the video.

Luna then pressed a button, making the screen between the two pillars disappear. "There. The kids' video is gone."

"That wasn't a kids video...that was a News broadcast...made by children." Ikuko said. More than anything, she wanted to grasp some kind of hope that the world would get better. But according to the prophecy, the world wouldn't get no better, if anything, it would get horrifically worse...until the Messiah returned to Earth with the forces of Heaven.

Flame rode his skate-board down the snow-covered sidewalk of Seattle, did two hard-flips on it, and continued owned.

Sailor Jupiter continued hopping from building to building, still following the boy down below.

Flame then came to a stop at a metal pole, making Jupiter stop at the top of another building, and he taped another poster to the pole before he resumed skate-boarding, making Jupiter resume following him at the top of the building.

Flame soon stopped and removed his helmet, revealing his hair to be a hot rod flame color. Dyed, obviously. He then got off his board, picked it up, and began walking down the sidewalk. As he did, he saw two teens, a boy and girl, standing outside their home, playing with their father who was dressed for work, then he saw another teen-boy, holding a soccer-ball, and another teen-girl following their mother down the porch steps of their home. He couldn't help but admire the scene and he wished he had that life back. Oh, how he wished he'd had it back.

Jupiter kept pursuing the boy, hopping from building to building, not wanting to lose sight of him. Even though she couldn't understand why she had been assigned to this boy...yet.

Elsewhere in the city, in front of a hot-dog stand, Setsuna stood behind slightly heavy-set male police officer Robert Wilson, who was dressed in a black winter police uniform and wearing a black police hat. He had brown eyes and black receding hair. He was the Pluto Senshi's assignment.

"Oh, I'm starving." Said Robert as the man behind the stand handed him a hot-dog wrapped in a napkin. "Thanks, Neil." He said. "Ketchup?" He said as he got a squirt-bottle of ketchup off the stand while Setsuna looked to see Flame skate-board over to a tree and staple another one of the wanted posters to it.

Flame resumed boarding down the sidewalk, passing Setsuna why Robert was putting the bottle of ketchup back on the stand, then he turned and took a bite of his hot-dog, and went up to the wall of a building and stapled another wanted poster to it.

Robert took notice of this and followed after the boy.

Setsuna walked away from the hot-dog stand following the officer.

Having now stapled two other posters to a wooden wall. Flame stapled a third one to it, then Robert walked up to him.

"Hey, kid." Robert began, getting the boy's attention. "Didn't you see the sign?" He said, pointing at a sign on the wall that read 'POST NO BILLS'.

"I don't know what it means." Flame said.

"No posters." Robert said.

"Oh. I'm sorry." Flame said.

"How come you're not in school?" Robert asked.

"We just moved here Atlanta. I'm starting school next week." Flame answered.

"Atlanta, huh?" Robert said, examining the paint designs on the boy's face. "Your Mom let you wear that stuff on your face?"

"Yeah. As a matter of fact, this is her handy work. She even dyed my hair hot rod flame." Flame said. He then spotted a woman and her teenage-son. "There's my Mom now. Gotta go." He said before boarding off to where the woman and her son were.

"Hey, hey!" Robert called. He then noticed the wanted posters of the Sailor Senshi, removed the third one and looked at it as Setsuna, standing not too far away, watch Flame skate-board past the woman and her son. "So there's a reward out on the Senshi's capture, huh? Well, it took Carpathia long enough. But better late than never, I suppose."

Setsuna just watch the officer from afar. She didn't know why she had been assigned to this man, but she knew on thing was for certain. He needed to know the truth about her and the rest of the Senshi, the Messiah, as well as what was really happening in the world. She just hoped he'd be willing to listen...and receive it.

Ami and Minako, dressed for the winter, sat on a bench at the Jerusalem summer camp, watching the American Indiana parents bond with their kids. Nicolae had announced on television that these people were to be moved here four months ago by the GC because their children were infected with ASTRO-V. He also had all of the rest of the American refugees all over the rest of Israel, in Canada and Alaska moved to summer camps as well. Ami and Minako were just here touring the place.

"Ugh! How annoying. How come Usagi and Makoto have assignments and we don't? Well? How come?" Minako said.

"Probably because it was Heaven that assigned them to Seattle." Ami said.

"Oh, come on." Minako said in annoyance before looking up at the sky. "If you're listening, at least give me an assignment too. Pretty please with sugar? Say something!"

As if on cue, seven GC jeeps and school busses sped into the camp, getting everyone's attention.

"What's..." Minako began as she and Ami stood up.

"Going on?" Ami finished.

The jeeps and busses parked themselves, followed by a 23-year old GC man and a 22-year old GC woman, holding a blow-horn, exiting the jeep in front of the others, with the man exiting the driver's seat and the woman exiting the front passenger-seat. The other GC men got out of their jeeps too.

The woman had purple eyes and gold dyed hair worn in pigtails. She also wore a pair of pink triangle-shaped ear-rings and pink lipstick. Her unform was that of a black short mini-dress with the GC letters on the front, black gloves that reached the shoulders, and black thigh-length boots with small heels.

The man had brown eyes, green hair, his uniform was a black long sleeve shirt with the GC letters on the front, a black belt, black pants, black boots, black gloves, and he held a machine gun.

"What are you all doing here?!" Ami asked.

"GC!" Minako said. "Are you here to harm these people?! Cause if you are, the Sailor Senshi will stop you!" She asked and warned. "Didn't catch your names."

"I never said it." The woman said.

"Nor did I." The man added.

"Call me Crystal." The woman said.

"And I'm Butch!" The GC man added.

"That still doesn't explain why you're here!" Minako said.

Crystal turned on the blow-horn. "Attention parents of Indiana. Attention. We are here on behalf of his excellency, Carpathia. As you all know, we moved you all here four months ago to this camp on the potentate's orders due to your children being infected with ASTRO-V. We are here to extract them from the camp and take them to a quarantine camp where they will remain until our scientists can establish an antidote for this virus. I understand how upsetting this must be for some of you parents, but we ask that you cooperate fully and believe me when I say that we're doing this for your children's own good. All children please board the busses right away. Thank you." She spoke in the blow-horn.

Ami and Minako glared at the GC, knowing what they were really like, but the parents weren't so upset. In fact, they weren't upset at all. Actually, they were very understanding and trusting towards the GC with their children's health and well-being. No surprise there, society believed everything the New World Order told them.

The busses' doors then opened and all of the children began boarding them.

That night in Seattle, a winter-dressed Makoto, no longer Sailor Jupiter, was walking down the sidewalk, trying to locate Brenden, as she had lost sight of him earlier during the day due to her growing tired of hopping from building to building.

"Come on, come on. Where are you?" Makoto asked herself. "Where did that kid get to? Where could he be? I loose sight of him for one second and-" She stopped herself as she froze in her tracks when she saw Brenden skate-board from around the corner of a building up ahead. "There you are." She said to herself.

Flame stopped and looked across the street at something.

Makoto looked across the street also and saw that the boy was looking at a building titled 'OTIS'S'. She watched as Flame skate-boarded across the street to the other side where the building was, got off his board, picked it up, opened the glass-door, and went inside.

Inside the building, which turned out to be a skate-board store, Flame saw a slightly heavy-set man with brown hair, blue eyes, and a brown gote standing behind the check-out counter, showing off a wheel-less skate-board to two pre-teens, one boy and one girl, who were both dressed for the winter. It was also warm in the building. Most likely because of some heater or thermostat.

The boy was 11, he had spikey brown hair and blue eyes.

The girl was 10, she had brown hair in ponytails that went past her shoulders, and her eyes were brown.

"Okay, what do you think?" The man asked.

"Awesome." The 11-year old boy said.

"Yeah?" The man asked as he placed the board on the counter. "You'll probably need a couple of these." He said as he reached behind the counter to get something while Flame removed his helmet and began looking around. The man then noticed him. "I'll be closing up in 23 minutes."

"Okay." Flame said before heading over to another part of the store.

"So...do you want this on your sponsor account?" The man asked the boy.

"Yeah. Thanks, Otis." The boy said as Flame walked over to several skate-board hanging on the wall.

"Oh, no. Thank you." The man known as Otis said.

Flame then started touching and examining the boards, some with wheels and some not, before getting one off the wall and admiring it.

Otis took notice of this. "Good choice. That's my favorite. I'll give it to you for 60 bucks."

"Thanks. Can't afford it." Flame said before placing the board back on the wall. He then spotted something on another part of the wall and went over to it. It was a poster that read 'BATTLE BOARDERS' at the top of a male skate-boarder, and the bottom read 'SEATTLE FOOTBALL STADIUM', which was where the event would be taking place.

"Are you going?" The 10-year old girl asked.

"Huh?" Flame asked as he looked back at the girl and the boy.

"We'll be at the competition this week." The boy said.

"Nick won last year." The girl said. "I'm Sidney, by the way. But everyone calls me Sid."

Flame nodded. "Nice to meet you. Both of you." He said before heading for the glass-door, which Otis took notice of.

"So Nick, if you're not gonna be using this board, I'm just gonna throw it out back in the dumpster." Otis said as he picked up a scratched-up skate-board off the counter.

"Alright." The 10-year old boy known as Nick said.

Flame walked over to the door, pushed it open, and left out of the store.

Makoto watched as the boy came out of the building, followed by putting on his helmet, getting on his board, and then road off down the sidewalk.

Determined not to lose sight of him a second time, Makoto ran across the street, onto the sidewalk, and began chasing after the boy to find out where he was going next. Wait. Going next? At night time? At this late? This boy should've been home in bed by now. When Makoto was his age, her parents expected her home before the sun went down whenever she was out. His parents had to been worried sick by now.

She was then brought out of her thoughts when Brenden turned a corner into the alley from that morning, and she sped up her running and stopped at the end of a building, poked her head out around the corner, and saw the 10-year old skate-boarding down the alley, followed by turning a corner, and she ran after him.

The Japanese teenage-girl ran down the alley after the American pre-teen boy and stopped at the corner of the back of the building where she saw him board up a fence covered with tin boards. He got off his skate-board, picked it up, and pushed his way through the tin boards, entering the other side.

"What in the world?" Makoto asked, suspicious. What was this kid doing back here in the alley? And what was behind that tin-covered fence? Was this where he and his parents lived? What was going on? One way to find out, she supposed. The brown-haired girl ran from around the corner and made her way up to the tin-covered fence where she pushed herself through the tin boards and entered the other side.

Makoto stared in awestruck at the sight before her. The place in front of her was not a house, but an abandoned swimming pool area that consisted of a dry pool, a tall lifeguard chair, and an olive green wooden first-aid station. She figured Brenden was already inside the small building, as the lights were on. Was this how he and his parents were living? Was this their home? If so...why? Surely no citizens would live in these kind of conditions, especially if they had a kid. Unless...they were homeless. Could that have been it? Were Brenden and his parents homeless? Wouldn't surprise her if they were, the homeless population had sky-rocketed past through the roof these last two years due to all the Heaven-sent disasters that had damaged the world. Many of the homeless had even perished from exposure to the ice-cold weather. And she was not going to let that happen to this family.

But first she would see what their inner living was like before just swooping in to help. Maybe they were living a lot better from within. Makoto quietly made her way over to the first-aid station and looked inside through one of the windows. She saw Brenden, but...no signs of his parents. He wore a blue short-sleeve shirt and was lying on a sofa, resting his head on two pillows, with a white sheet covering him, an electric heater plugged into the wall, and the only source of light was that of one lamp beside the sofa on a night-stand. He was playing with a toy skate-board and moving it up and down on a toy-ramp that rested on a coffee-table.

"And he 5-0s the ramp, fakie rocks the spine, and ollies the flat. The crowd goes wild. Yeah." Flame said. He then let out a yawn. He pulled the covers up to his chest and then got a picture off the stand and looked at it. It was a headshot photo of him and his mother from last year before she was killed in the war. She had brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. "Night, Mom. Love ya." He said before kissing the photo and placing it back on the stand and, turning off the lamp, and then going to sleep.

It was in that moment that Makoto started to put the pieces together in her mind. It all made sense now, everything she had seen throughout the day with this kid. The job of putting up posters, staying out until night time, and his return to the alleyway. Brenden's parents weren't here because...he had no parents. He had no home. He had no one to take care of him. He was an orphan...just like her. No wonder Heaven had sent her here. Since the start of this assignment, she didn't have a clue as to why Heaven had sent here her to watch over this boy. This discovery had answered her question. "I know." She said lowly. "Now I know."

That same night at the Seattle police station, Robert sat at his desk in his office, eating one of the donuts out of an open pink box that was filled with many others, when there was a knock at the door.

"Yeah, come in." Robert said.

The door then opened and in walked the male winter-dressed commissioner, with Setsuna tailing behind him.

"Good afternoon, officer Wilton." The commissioner greeted.

"You as well." Robert said before noticing Setsuna. "Uh...who is she?"

"Oh, this is Trista Midori, a detective from Japan. She's your new partner, starting tomorrow. Good luck." The commissioner said before leaving out of the office and closing the door back.

"He seems friendly." Setsuna said.

"The friendliest." Robert said sarcastically. "Have a seat."

Setsuna walked up to Robert's desk and sat down in the rolling-chair.

"Donut?" Robert asked as he pushed the pink box of donuts in front of the Japanese woman.

"No, thank you." Setsuna said.

"Very well. More for me." Robert said before pulling the box back over to him. "So...Trista, is it?"

"That's right. I just transferred here this morning." Setsuna said.

"Well, welcome to the team, Jap." Robert said before taking another bite of his donut.

"Thanks." Setsuna said, briefly wribnkling her nose at the slur.

"So...what brings you here all the way from Japan?" Robert asked.

"What do you know about the criminal activity that's been going on around here these last four months?" Setsuna asked.

"Straight to the point. I like that." Robert said. "Well, from what I'm hearin', some people say it's gang-related. Others say it's the work of a shady organization. The rest of society? They don't know. A lot has happened since the war last year, the earthquake/meteor shower, and this winter wonderland. All of which were caused by the aliens, mind you. Washington hasn't been the same since the president was killed in the war and D.C. was attacked."

"Aren't things terrible all over America without a president?" Setsuna asked.

"Yeah. Not that it matters though. You can't expect people to act like everything's okay after a war has broken out. Law and order go right out the window." Robert said.

"Yes. I suppose they do." Setsuna said. "But what makes some people think this crime wave is gang related?"

"Because of the number of arrests we've made with kids. We've arrested so many over the last four months, it's impossible to keep track of count." Robert explained.

"You've arrested that many children?" Setsuna asked.

"Yeah. And the list just keeps gettin' longer every day. To tell ya the truth, I'm actually starting to take the gang-related belief into consideration." Robert said.

"Is there anything else about these children that makes them seem like gang members?" Setsuna asked as Robert took another bite of his donut.

"Yeah. Yeah, there is. Hold on one sec." Robert said before opening a drawer, getting out of a thick file, and then placing it on his desk in front of the young Asian woman.

Setsuna opened the file, revealing a mug-shot photo of a 10-year old Japanese boy, with a picture of the back of his right hand clipped to it, and on his hand was a red kanji tattoo. She turned to the next photo, which was another mug-shot of an 11-year old Japanese-boy, with a picture of the palm of his left hand clipped to it, and on his hand was a red kanji tattoo. The third photo was a mug-shot of a 12-year old Japanese-boy with a red kanji tattoo on his forehead. The fourth mug-shot was of a 13-year old Japanese-boy with a red kanji on his right cheek. She then started flipping through the papers, revealing many other teenagers who were also Japanese, some were American, some were Mexican and some were Korean, with pictures of a red kanji tattoo on the right palm of their hand, their left palm, their right arm, left arm, right shoulder, left shoulder, right thigh, left thigh and their upper-black. But the really eerie part was that all of the kids had the same exact face expression. Even their eyes had the same look. "Mr. Wilton, these are mug-shot photos."

"Yeah, no kiddin'." Robert said.

"Are these all the children that have been arrested these last four months?" Setsuna asked.

"You got it." Robert said before eating the last of his donut.

"Most of them are Japanese." Setsuna said.

"I know. We've arrested a few American kids, Mexican kids and Korean/American kids too, but not as many as the Jap-kids. The one thing they all have in common is that strange tattoo on their bodies. Every kid we've brought in here has one. Don't know what it is or what it means though." Robert said.

"It's a kanji." Setsuna said.

"A what?" Robert asked, confused.

"A kanji. It's a system of Japanese writing using Chinese characters." Setsuna answered and explained.

"Do you know what it means?" Robert asked.

"No, all the kids have different ones. Like I said, kanji is a system of writing, so it's impossible to tell what they say at the moment." Setsuna said.

"Well, that's helpful." Robert said sarcastically.

"Look, I'm just telling you like as it is. I do not know." Setsuna said.

"Fair enough, I suppose." Robert said.

"Why do you think these kids are doing this?" Setsuna asked.

"Beats me. The kids are scavengers, I suppose." Robert guessed.

"Scavengers?" Setsuna asked.

"We have a mysterious phenomenon here in Seattle. I have reason to believe that Groups of kids as young as 10 are being recruited into a gang where they can make as much as 20'000 to 50'000 a week. The lure is powerful." Robert explained.

"And it's only like this in Seattle?" Setsuna asked.

"Nowhere else in the country have we found so many juveniles involved in such highly structured force." Robert said.

"What are you and the other cops doing about this?" Setsuna asked curiously.

"Despite all we do, it's going to be impossible to stop this force from recruiting these kids. It is a matter of economics. The was last year caused a lot of financial ruin for many. You're 10, 11, 12 or 13 years old, living in poor conditions, your parents are struggling or out of work, and some kid or guy with a kanji tattoo comes by and tells you they know someone who can help you make a lot of money in a week. You're gonna listen." Robert said.

"Yes, I suppose that would be hard for any child to resist." Setsuna said. "You mentioned some guy approaching the kids. Are there any adults with the kanji tattoo?"

"Yeah, I've seen quite a few, but all of them are Japanese." Robert said. "Part of the problem is that by using these juveniles, who can't be prosecuted in court, as well as the fact that we don't know who's recruiting and tattooing them, this crime force has managed to insulate itself from law-enforcement efforts. Worse, we're trying to catch some bad guy we can't even see."

"I can see how that must be frustrating." Setsuna said. "But what about these kids' parents? Surely they aren't just sitting by and letting this happen."

"Some of the parents don't even know their kids are involved in this. Some are trying to keep their kids out of it, to no avail. Others want to keep them out, aren't sure how. The rest of them? They don't care. They're too busy spending money given to them by their kids." Robert said.

"You've been arresting these kids, right?" Setsuna said.

"Yes, we have." Robert said. "But two hours later, the kids are right back on the streets, doing the same thing."

"What? Why?" Setsuna asked, baffled.

"Because they keep getting bailed out every time." Robert said.

"Well, is anyone else doing anything about this?" Setsuna asked.

"What can they do? What can any of us do? We can't address a threat against our children without knowing what it is. We might as well be addressing a ghost." Robert said.

Setsuna didn't say anything, knowing she couldn't debate against what the officer had just said.

"What? No comeback?" Robert asked.

"Like you said...we might as well be addressing a ghost." Setsuna said.

"Yeah, exactly. And I don't think the situation on the streets is going to improve much. Our major problem is how are we going to reach these kids? I mean, do you tell them to just deal with their poor lives when they're making loads of money a day by scavenging on the streets? They'll just laugh at you." Robert said.

Setsuna was silent as she stared at the file of child mug-shots. Young people working for some mysterious force...getting tattooed...making loads of money by scavenging? It all eerily reminded her of a similar ghastly event that was to take place very soon. She didn't know who this enemy was that the kids were working for, but she had a pretty good idea where they had come from.

Tokyo.

That same night, at the Seattle News Station...

"You gotta stop working so hard." Said a police man sitting at his desk, followed by a winter-dressed April O'Bryan walking over to the desk, with her purse on her right shoulder.

"What? And give up all this glamor? Yeah, that'll happen." April said as she went over to the glass-door. "Good night." She said as she opened the door and exited the building.

"Good night." Said the police man as the door closed back.

April walked down the sidewalk, heading for her News van, but stopped when she heard something from behind, making her turn around, only to find that there was nothing there. The News reporter lady sighed and continued onward towards her vehicle. She reached into her purse and got out her car-keys, when she made her way around her News van, she saw four winter-dressed Japanese teenage-boys trying to break into it.

The boys then stopped what they were doing when they saw April.

"Warui taimingu." One of the boys said in Japanese.
"Bad timing."

"Uh...hi." April said nervously. She didn't know how else to respond, as she didn't know any Japanese.

"Eru kanojo saifu." Get her purse. The boy had said before April turned and took off running. "Eru kanojo saifu!" He repeated before one of the other boy tackled April to the snow-covered ground.

"Get off of me! What do you think you're-Help!" April screamed as she struggled against the Asian boy while the other teens ran over to her and started trying to steal her purse while all speaking Japanese.

"Stop!" Came a female voice, getting the attention of the boys and April. "Shame on those who steal from others! I fight for love and justice and you won't get away with this!" The Moon Senshi said. "I am Sailor Moon!" She said, beginning her pose. "And by the most high God in Heaven...you will be-" She gasped in shock as she gazed upon the Japanese teen-boys. It was night, so she hadn't been able to get a good look at them until now. Despite what went down at New Island, she hadn't gotten use to fighting against kids. And she didn't expect it to get any easier. "No way! You're...you're just kids!"

"Sono Sailor Moon! Shimashou supuritto!"
"It's Sailor Moon! Let's split!" Said the third Japanese boy before he and the other boys turned and took off running.

Sailor Moon ran over to the woman, who turned out to be April O'Bryan from the News, and bent down on her left knee. "Are you okay?"

"It's you." April said, stunned. "It's really you. You're Sailor Moon." She couldn't believe she was seeing one of the Sailor Senshi vigilantes from Tokyo-Japan. What was she doing here?

"Well, duh." Sailor Moon said.

"Thanks for saving me." April said.

"No need to thank me. Im just glad to be able to help someone, you know?" Sailor Moon said.

"Even so, thanks. Oh! I'm April, by the way. April O'Bryan."

"Pleased to meet you, Miss O'Bryan. Would it be alright if I walked you to your vehicle?" Sailor Moon said.

"Sure." April said.

Sailor Moon helped April to her feet and began walking the lady to her News van.

That night in the command-center, Shingo was tossing and turning in his sleep while remembering something from his past.

Canada...

Shingo laid sound asleep in his seat on board the GC bus as it drove down the streets of Canada. The 12-year old Japanese boy was soon awakened by the sound of the bus hissing, indicating it had stopped.

"Okay, everyone, this is where you all get off." Said the voice of the male GC bus driver from up front.

Shingo scooted over to the end of his seat, poked his head out, and he and the other Japanese kids-mostly teens, with few pre-teens-watched as the bus driver pulled the lever, opening the door. He and all the kids got up from their seats, walked down the aisle and up to the front where they all got off. They all looked around at their surroundings and saw that they were out in the country, as both sides of the street had a forest.

"Where's the camp?" Shingo asked, confused. He and the other kids then heard the sound of the bus's door close back, making them turn and look at the bus, followed by it letting out a hiss before driving off. "Hey!" He shouted as he and the other kids watched the bus drive off. He and the other kids turned around and watched the bus leave. "Hey! Is someone coming to get us?!"

"He-he left. He just left us here in the middle of nowhere." A 13-year old boy said.

Just then, another GC bus came driving down the street, making the kids turn and look at it. The bus soon cam to a stop with a hiss, the door opened, and out stepped a woman with a smile on her face.

"Hello, children. I'm Vivian Ivans. But you may all call me aunt Viv. I'm your friendly spiritual guidance counselor. Hope you enjoyed the trip here. Welcome to Camp Utopia. Let's get on board." Said the woman known as Vivian in a Russian accent.

Shingo stared at the woman suspiciously. Something about her didn't set well with him. She didn't ask him and the other kids how they were doing...she didn't explain about the bus driver leaving them here in the middle of nowhere...and she didn't ask if they were okay after that scare back in Tokyo when the GC showed up and seized them from their homes.

"Well, looks like a good group from Tokyo-Japan, huh?" Viv said.

"Aunt Viv...why did the GC bring us here?" A 14-year old girl asked.

"We'll drop you girls off first at the camp across the lake." Viv said, completely ignoring the girl's question.

"Maybe she didn't hear you." Shingo said to the girl.

"Then we'll get you boys settled in." Viv said.

"I...was really scared when the GC took us." An 11-year old boy said.

"Yeah. Me too. But we're okay now. Relax and have some fun." Shingo said. He and all of the other kids boarded the bus, followed by Viv, the door closed, and the bus hissed before driving off down the street.

Shingo's eyes shot open, followed by him sitting up in bed. He looked around and realized where he was. He was in his bedroom of the Sailor Senshi's underground command-center, not out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of other kids. The 12-year old boy sighed with relief. "Only a dream." He said. "Or was it? Did I remember something?"

Just then, he heard the sound of the door to his room open and he looked and saw that it was halfway open.

"Hello?" Shingo called. "Who's there?" He asked. "Is it time to get up already?"

The door opened all the way, revealing two figures standing outside the doorway.

"AAHH! AAHH! Mom, Dad!" Shingo screamed.

Judd laid sound asleep on his sleeping mat, where he was currently at, time was different here from the time in America and Japan. The teenage-boy began tossing and turning in his sleep as a dream started to form in his mind.

Judd opened his eyes and saw that he was surrounded by outer-space. "What? What in the world? Where am i? How did I get here?" Judd asked, confused.

"Rise and shine." Said a female voice.

"Huh? Who's there?! Show yourself!" Judd said.

"As you wish." Said the female voice. A black darkness formed in front of Judd, slowly taking human shape, followed by transforming into Mio Kuroki in a flash of violet light. "Hello, Judd Thompson Jr."

"You. What do you want?!" Judd demanded.

"Why do you assume I want something? Can't an old friend just drop by and visit for a while?" Mio asked.

"You're not my friend! You're nobody's friend! You're not even human!" Judd said.

"Now, is that anyway to speak to an old class-mate? After all, we did attend the same school for two years, did we not?" Mio said.

"Don't remind me." Judd said.

"But that's why I'm here. To remind you. Or rather to reveal to you." Mio said.

"Whatever it is you're selling, I'm not buying!" Judd said.

"I'm hurt. And sure that Sailor Moon and the rest of the Senshi would be hurt as well if they were here to hear you say that." Mio said.

"You're right about one thing: The Sailor Senshi have helped me and my friends out in more ways than I can count these last two years. And I will spend the 1000-year reign makin' it up to them as much as I can." Judd said.

Mio scoffed. "Oh, here with go with that 1000-year fairytale story again."

"It's not a fairytale story, it's the truth! Whether you believe it or not! And it's going to happen! Jesus is coming back to rule the world in five years!" Judd said.

"Look, I didn't come here to listen to you talk fairytale noise to me, I came here to unveil something." Mio said.

"Whatever it is, I don't wanna know!" Judd said.

"I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss me without learning what it is first. I'm pretty sure that's why you're still here in the first place...isn't it? Isn't that what you did when your family tried to share their beliefs with you about the apocalypse?" Mio said.

"Keep my family out of your mouth!" Judd snapped.

"Ooh. Looks like I struck a nerve. So sorry. Not." Mio said.

"Get lost creep!" Judd ordered.

"Get lost? How rude. And after all the Senshi has done for you, I would think you would want to know what else they did for you before you met them. But don't take my word for it...just see for yourself." Mio before the outer-space scene was replaced with Judd's house and the suburbs of Chicago at night.

"Chicago? My house?" Judd asked, looking at his surroundings. "What are we doing here?"

"You're about to find out." Mio said, with a smirk. She and Judd vanished in flashes of violet light, then re-appeared in a child's bedroom. "Does this room look familiar?"

"Of course it does, it's my brother's bedroom." Judd said.

"That's right. And it's not empty this time around." Mio said. "Look." She said, pointing at something.

Judd looked at where Mio was pointing and saw his little brother, Marc, sound asleep in his bed. "Marc? Is that...is that you?" He said, stunned. He hadn't seen his brother since he was taken in the Rapture, along with his parents and little sister, so to see him again after two years was truly heartwarming. "It's me. Judd." But Marc doesn't awaken.

"He can't hear you...or see you. This is all just an event from the past." Mio said.

"An event? An event of what?" Judd asked curiously. He wasn't sure what the whole point of this dream was of why this girl was showing him this. He wanted answers and he wanted them now.

"You'll see." Mio said.

As if on cue, the wind started blowing really hard against Marc's bedroom window, making his eyes shoot open with alarm. Then the most weirdest thing happened. Something so weird and so strange and creepy that if Judd werent there, he wouldn't have believed it. The window started to unlock itself.

"Wow." Judd said. "Pretty strong wind, isn't it?" He said nervously, attempting to explain away what he was witnessing.

The window fully unlocked itself, followed by a gust of wind blowing into the room.

A now fearful Marc pulled the covers over his head.

"Boy, that wind sure is strong, isn't it?" Judd said, now even more nervous, still contradicting the fact of what was really happening.

The wind blew the covers off of Marc's bed. "AAHH!" He screamed.

"AAHH!" Came a female scream outside Marc's room.

"That was Marcie! Marcie! Judd said, referring to his little sister.

The scene changed back to outside Judd's home.

"Huh? Hey, what gives?! Why are we back outside?!" Judd asked.

"Just look." Mio said.

Judd watched as his Dad's car drove into the driveway, with it's head-lights on, followed by them shutting off with the vehicle. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson got out of the front seats, closed the doors, and Mr. Thompson jerked open the back door on the driver side and yanked out a high Judd by the left arm, followed by slamming it shut, then he seized Judd by the right arm and led him up to the front door, with his wife following behind.

"Oh, no." Judd said, remembering this night.

"So do you remember now? You all clued in? You got the 411?" Mio asked.

"Yeah, I do. This night happened the year right before the Rapture. I had stayed out late getting high with my friends, so my parents called in a sitter from the church to watch my brother and sister while they drove around town looking for me. They found me wandering the city by myself...wasted." Judd said, his voice filled with regret.

"How sad. But that's not all that happened that night...is it?" Mio said.

Judd was silent. "No."

With the Thompsons now standing at the front door, Mr. Thompson used his house key to unlock it, and they went inside, followed by him closing it.

The scene changed to the living-room of Judd's house where Judd stood at the front door with his parents.

"Miss Wilda, we're back!" Mr. Thompson said.

"We found Judd and brought him home!" Mrs. Thompson said.

"Yeah, against my will!" Judd said.

But there was no answer. The Thompson couple felt uneasy. Something about the house now felt off. In fact, the whole atmosphere was now different from the way it had been when they left earlier to look for Judd.

"Miss Wilda?" Mr. Thompson called. "Not a word. "Hello?" Nothing.

"Where is she?" Mrs. Thompson asked.

"Marcie? Marc!" Mr. Thompson asked as he, his wife and Judd ran through the living-room.

"Marcie?!" Mr. Thompson called as she rushed up the stairs with her husband and Judd. "Marc, talk to me!" She called as they kept running up the stairs. "Marcie!" She repeated as she and the male Thompsons made their way up to the top of the stairs where they saw Miss Wilda, a slightly heavy-set middle-aged woman, standing up against the wall. She had short blond hair and brown eyes.

"Miss Wilda? What's wrong?" Mr. Thompson asked.

"The wind came out of nowhere and caught me off guard. The children were screaming." Said a distraught Miss Wilda before the Thompsons ran past her. "The children were screaming!"

"Marc?!" Mr. Thompson called as he and the other two Thompsons rushed into Marc's bedroom, only to find him gone and his window open. "Marcie!" He called before he and the others rushed out of the room and into Marcie's bedroom where they found her gone and her window also open.

"Marc?!" Mrs. Thompson called as she and her husband rushed over to the open window and looked out to see if Marc and Marcie were outside. But they were nowhere to be seen. "Oh, please, God, no!" She yelled. "Oh, no! Nooooooooooo!"

Fear surged in Judd's heart. What should he do?

"Honey, head down stairs with Judd and call the police! I'll search through Marc and Marcie's rooms to if there are any answers as to what happened!" Mr. Thompson instructed.

Mrs. Thompson nodded as tears ran down her face. "I'll call 911." She said before she and Judd ran out of the room to head downstairs to call the police.

"Let's see what happened to your siblings." Mio said before the scene changed back to outside the neighborhood in the middle of the street a few blocks away from his house.

"Huh?" Judd asked, looking at his surroundings. "What are we doing back out here in the middle of the street?"

"Just stick around and you'll find out. Not that you have a choice." Mio said.

Judd then heard the sound of flute music. "What is that sound?"

"That, my friend, is the sound of flute music." Mio answered.

"But where is it coming from?" Judd asked. Why would anyone be outside playing a flute this late at night? What was the purpose?

"Look." Mio said, pointing at the street in front of her and Judd.

Judd looked at the street and saw Marc, Marcie and several other children, all dressed in their pajamas, walking down the street, following the music, with all of them being ages 4 through 12.

"Marc! Marcie! Oh, thank God you're both safe!" said Judd, excited to see both of his siblings safe and un-harmed. But his excitement quickly turned to confusion when he looked at the other kids that were with Marc and Marcie. However, the most alarming part to him was that the eyes of his siblings and all of the other kids were blank, without any light reflecting. He then looked around and saw countless other children, also exiting their homes in their pajamas, some wearing robes, all baring the same exact same uncanny look in their eyes. "What in the world?" He asked, confused. What were all these kids doing coming out on the street this late at night? Shouldn't they have been at home in bed resting up for school tomorrow? "What is going on around here? Where are all of these kids going this late at night?"

Marc, Marcie and all of the other kids walked past Judd and Mio and headed down the street, following the flute music, along with the other children who had just left their homes.

"Marc! Marcie! Get back here!" Judd ordered. But Marc and Marcie just kept on going with the other children. "I said get back now!" He scolded.

"They can't hear you. None of them can. This is only a flashback, remember?" Mio reminded. "And even if it wasn't, they still wouldn't acknowledge your presence. They're too intoned by the music."

Judd watched as all the children walked down the street and realized Mio was telling the truth, as hard as that was to believe. They were like zombies. Nothing could disturb them. It was as if they were sleep-walking. The sound of children singing in Japanese came from up ahead as the music continued. "What is that sound?"

"That would be the sound of children singing." Mio said.

"Yeah, in Japanese." Judd said. In all the time he and his friends had spent with the Sailor Senshi, they had learned how to speak Japanese from them, so knew what the language sounded like whenever he heard it.

"Let's get another close look up, shall we?" Mio said before she and Judd zoomed up down the street and came to a stop at the park where they saw the singing coming from children on board weird-looking ship. It was red and yellow with a large pink snail shell at the top of it. A flight of steps had also been let down that led to an open entrance.

Standing by the ship, playing a flute, was a small man with dark green hair, with two of the locks yellow, and red eyes. His ears were kind of pointy, and he was barefoot.

Judd looked around and saw that Marc and Marcie and all of the other children were gathering here. It was obvious to him that this man was causing all this weirdness, as he was playing the same flute music his siblings and the other kids were following. He and Mio watched as all the kids rushed into the park, up to the ship, ran up the steps and boarded it, followed by the flute-playing man boarding the ship himself, with the steps closing up the entrance.

Judd and Mio watched as the ship floated into the air and took off into the night sky with the singing children, disappearing from sight. The Thompson boy just stared at the sky, stunned. This was probably the darkest he had even seen in his life, as he had literally just witnessed a mass kidnapping of children, with two of them being his own siblings.

"Let's find out where they're going, shall we?" Mio said before the scene changed to a place without a roof, exposing the night sky.

"Now where are we?" Judd asked, looking around at the strange scenery.

"Marzipan Castle. The only known castle to ever exist in the sky." Mio said.

"What?" Judd asked, stunned. Castles in the sky? When did people start inventing those?

"No time for explanation. Just look." Mio said.

Judd did as he was told and watched as the large boat from earlier descended out of the sky and down into the place he and Mio were in, followed by landing. The entrance to the boat then opened, letting down the steps, and all of the children of Chicago ran out of the boat to explore the area, with Marc and Marcie among them.

"That guy with the flute brought my siblings and those other kids here?" Judd asked.

"He sure did. And that's only the beginning." Mio said.

"You mean there's more?" Judd asked.

"Lot's more. Let's skip to the good part." Mio said. The scene changed again to an underground room where the flute player and three other weird dressed males standing before the giant Queen Badiane, holding her staff while standing on a platform. One of the three males, the one with white hair, was just a young boy.

"Another group of children have been delivered here to your place, my Queen. More will be arriving tomorrow." The flute player said.

"Excellent work Pouplin. Congratulations to all of you. Perle...Banane...Orangeat. You have done well. You have all done well. Soon we will have enough children to power the Black Dream Hole for it to swallow the entire planet, putting it under my control." Badiane said.

"I couldn't have said it better myself." Said the flute player now known as Poupelin.

The scene then froze.

"Who is that?" Judd asked.

"That is Queen Badiane." Mio answered.

"Queen who?" Judd asked, confused.

"Queen Badiane. An evil Queen from another world. Her goal was to capture children and harness their dream energy to feed the Black Dream Hole, increasing her power." Mio explained.

"What?!" Judd asked, baffled. Had he heard right? The woman had kidnapped his siblings and all of these other kids to use them a fuel to power some sort of weapon she was going to unleash upon the entire planet? What kind of crazy child abduction was this? Usually the abductors would demand some kind of ransom. But not this woman. No. Instead, she had all these children taken from their homes to use them as batteries to power her device. "I'm drawing a blank here. What does any of this have to do with the Sailor Senshi?"

"I can see you're still lost, so let's just hurry this along." Mio said before the scene changed to the Tokyo-Japan playground at night and started fast forwarding like a tape in a VCR. It showed everything from the Inner Senshi fighting against Poupelin's floating candy creatures all the way to Sailor Moon holding an unconscious Chibiusa while being attacked by a sun that was now Queen Badiane, and it stopped as if put on pause. "Ah, yes, perfect. This should give you all the answers you need."

The scene then started to play normally.

Sailor Moon closed her eyes. "Please, Sailor Guardians...lend me your strength. I need your strength to win this." She said telepathically.

The scene changed to the Inner Senshi and the Outer Senshi.

"Yes, Sailor Moon." Sailor Pluto said before closing her eyes. Her tiara disappeared and the symbol of the planet Pluto appeared on her forehead, followed by going into Sailor Moon.

"Our power is your's." Uranus and Neptune said before closing their eyes, followed by their planet symbols appearing on their foreheads and then going into Sailor Moon.

"Protect this world." Jupiter and Venus said before closing their eyes, followed by their planet symbols appearing on their foreheads and then going into Sailor Moon.

"We believe in you." Mars and Mercury said before closing their eyes, followed by their planet symbols appearing on their foreheads and going into Sailor Moon.

Sailor Moon's body then started glowing white and she turned and glared at the face of Badiane on the sun-like thing.

"What?!" Badiane gasped. "Ugh!" She said, making an angry face, then she shot a fire attack at Sailor Moon and Chibiusa, but nothing happened. "Impossible!"

Sailor Moon's brooch transferred some of it's energy into Chibiusa's brooch, then the little girl floated out of her arms, and in a flash of light, she became Super Sailor Chibimoon, also glowing white.

Chibiusa opened her eyes and smiled at the sight of Sailor Moon, who was smiling back at her. The Senshi duo turned and looked at the sun-like Badiane, with the Moon Senshi baring a serious expression.

"Let's go." Sailor Moon said.

"Right." Chibimoon agreed. She and Sailor Moon joined hands, then two Moon Gorgeous Rods appeared in their other hands. They flew towards the sun-like Badiane, ready to attack.

"Moon...Gorgeous...Meditation!" Sailor Moon and Chibimoon shouted as they flew toward the sun-like Badiane where they entered into her. Badiane gasped.

The scene changed to outside the Black Dream Hole where Sailor Moon and Chibimoon exited the other side of it.

Inside the Dream Hole, the sun-like Badiane turned red and her face twisted a few times. "AAAAAAAHHHH!" She screamed as her face was sucked into the sun-like thing, then the Black Dream Hole shrunk and shrunk and shrunk until it was gone.

Judd watched with Mio as the whole castle started shaking, followed by cracking, breaking apart and exploding. All of the children, asleep in their dream coffins, floated up out of the floor. Judd could see Marc and Marcie trapped in two of the dream coffins as well. "Marc! Marcie!"

Several of the ships then appeared, followed by the coffins disappearing, the sleeping children landed on the ships, and they flew off, taking them back to their home communities.

The scene froze.

"Well, Mr. Thompson, do you get it now?" Mio asked.

"Yeah. I do. Sailor Moon and the rest of the Senshi rescued my little brother and sister when they were in danger without even knowing it." Judd said.

"And there is still one last scene to come." Mio said.

"What, another vision?" Judd asked.

"Not vision. More like a stroll down memory lane." Mio said before the scene changed to Marc's bedroom of Judd's home where his Mom was sitting in a rocking-chair, sound asleep in her robe.

"What are we doing back here in Marc's room." Judd asked.

"Watch and learn, Junior. Watch and learn." Mio said.

Mrs. Thompson awoke and stood up, followed by going over to Marc's window and looking out, seeing that it was morning. Seven weeks had passed since her two youngest children had disappeared along with countless others in Chicago, and the police were still no close to finding them now than they were when they started looking.

Mr. Thompson and Judd came into the room. "Oh, honey. Have you been up all night again?" Mr. Thompson asked as he and Judd entered the room. His wife hadn't slept much since the night their younger children had vanished Seven weeks ago, and he and Judd were very worried about her.

"I see them in their beds in their rooms often." Mrs. Thompson said as she walked up to her husband and son. "When I wake up, they're not there anymore."

The sound of the doorbell ringing came from downstairs.

"I wonder who that could be." Mr. Thompson said before he and his wife left out of the room, leaving Judd alone.

The scene changed to the living-room, and Mio and Judd watched as his parents came downstairs where his Mom stopped at the bottom of them while Mr. Thompson walked up to the door, unlocked and opened it, revealing a male police officer. "Oh, officer, hi. How may I help you?"

Mrs. Thompson froze with fear. There hadn't been a police officer visit their house since the night Marc and Marcie vanished. What were they doing here now?

"Honey...you're gonna wanna see this." Mr. Thompson said before stepping aside, turning to face her, revealing Marc and Marcie, making Mrs. Thompson let out a gasp. Not one of shock...but of relief.

"Mommy!" Marcie shouted happily.

"Mom!" Marc added.

Mrs. Thompson, Marc and Marcie ran toward each other and she fell to her knees as her kids rushed up to her, with her embracing her with a hug, and the kids hugged her back. She ended the hug to look at them for a minute and make sure they were real. They were. Then she embraced them again, sobbing. Her children were finally back home where they belong. Thank God.

"Hey, what's with all the commotion?" Judd asked as he ran down the steps where he stopped at the bottom, stunned.

Marc and Marcie were hugging their mother while they were hugging them, and they all looked at Judd. Once he realized what he was seeing, he took off running toward his siblings as fast as he could. In his mind, he was silently praying to God this wasn't just a dream.

Mrs. Thompson quickly got up and moved out of the way, and Judd ran up to Marc and Marcie, falling to his knees afterwards and wrapped his arms around them as tight as he could, then he released them both and looked at them with tears in his eyes, scanning them for any sign of injury...but there wasn't one.

"I'm sorry." Judd said. He couldn't come up with any words to say to them Orhan than that.

"It's okay." Marc said.

"Yeah. It's okay." Marc agreed.

Judd wiped the tears from his face. "What happened to you? Where have you guys been?"

"Judd, it was amazing! We got kidnapped by these fairy people!" Marc said excitedly.

"They took us to their castle in the sky on a flying boat!" Marcie added.

"They put us and the other kids in these glass coffins in the floor where we all went to sleep!" Marc said.

"They were using us as batteries to power a weapon called the Black Dream Hole!" Marcie said.

"They were gonna unleash it upon the entire world!" Marc said.

"Then this all girls super hero group came and destroyed the Dream Hole!" Marcie said.

"And they defeated the bad guys, destroyed their castle, rescued us, and saved the world!" Marc concluded.

"Wow. Sounds like quite an adventure." Mr. Thompson said.

"And it seems to be going around." The officer said.

"What?" Mr. Thompson asked, with him and everyone now looking at the officer.

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Thompson asked.

"We've received statements from all of the other missing kids of Chicago that match that story." The officer said.

"Really?" Mr. Thompson asked.

"Yeah. Their stories are all the exact same. We even found a large boat in the park." The officer said.

"You do believe us, right, Judd?" Marc asked.

"I don't know. Sounds like something out of a comic-book." Judd said.

"Do you believe us, Dad?" Marc asked.

"Well, it must be true. Otherwise all of the other missing kids of Chicago wouldn't be saying it too." Mr. Thompson said.

"What about you, Mommy?" Marcie asked as she and Marc looked at their mother.

"All that matters to me is that you both are here safe and sound. If the police never catch the police never catch the people who did this, that is fine with me. The important thing is that you and the other children are okay." Mrs. Thompson said.

"Oh, don't worry about the evil fairy people, Mom, the super heroes took real good care of them and their castle in the sky. They won't be doing this to anymore kids ever again." Marc said.

"Well, whoever these super heroes are, we owe them a huge debt of gratitude. Don't we, honey?" Mr. Thompson said.

"They rescued our two kids and the other missing children. In my book, that makes them a Heaven-sent." Mrs. Thompson said.

"Well, I wish I could stay and hear more, but I need to be getting back to the station and helping the other officers get the rest of the kids back home to their parents. See ya around." The officer said.

"Thank you, officer." Mr. Thompson said.

"Yes, thank you so much." Mrs. Thompson added.

"You're welcome." The officer said before closing the door.

"Flying boats, huh? Floating castles? Fairy people...and super heroes? Maybe you both and all the other kids were just dreaming." Judd said.

"Well, maybe they weren't." Mr. Thompson said, smiling.

"Well, maybe we'll see." Marc said, with a smile on his face.

The scene froze.

"Happy endings. Don't ya just love 'em?" Mio said.

"I don't get it. Why are you showing me all of this?" Judd asked.

"What? A friend can't share the truth with another friend?" Mio asked.

"Last time I checked, we're not friends, we just went to school together! That's all! Now get me outta here!" Judd said.

"Why, what's wrong, don't you like seeing your family?" Mio asked.

"Yeah, but I don't like to see the past me. Marc and Marcie tried to tell me about what happened to them and the other kids and about the Sailor Senshi rescuing them, but...I didn't believe it." Judd said.

The scene then changed to outer space.

"Seems to be the story of your life, not believing the truth. Why? Why didn't you believe your siblings' story? It's not like they were the only kids telling it." Mio said.

"I thought it was all just some dream they'd had. I mean, come on, who wouldn't? Flying boats, fairy people, castles in the sky, super-heroes? Come on, no one believe that." Judd said.

"But guess what? Not believing the truth doesn't change the fact that it's real...as you now know." Mio said.

"Don't rub it in." Judd said.

"Very well then. Let's talk about your life after your siblings and all of the other kids returned home." Mio said.

"What is there to talk about?" Judd asked.

"Plenty." Mio said. "After three months, when the dust started to settle and things slowly returned to normal, you went back to your old self-destructive ways. Then when the disappearances happened that following year-your entire family being among those who vanished-you did another heel-face turn. I can't help but wonder if this change of heart is genuine...or just a crutch to help support you through this dark time in the world."

"How do you know all of this? Where are you getting this information from?" Judd asked. For someone who only knew him by high school attendance, this girl sure knew a lot about him.

"I have my ways." Mio said, smiling. "Now then...what memory shall we explore next? The time you cracked your brother's wrist with you bare hand for going into your room or when you tore one of your sister's stuffed toy animals' heads off because she wouldn't stop pleading with you to play with her?"

"Go away!" Judd yelled, putting his hands over his ears and shutting his eyes tight. "I don't want you here, go away!"

Just then, a ball of bright white light appeared between Judd and Mio, blinding the 18-year old humanoid paranormal girl.

"Huh?" Judd asked as he opened his eyes, taking his hands off his ears, and looked at the ball of light.

"Wha-what is this light?!" Mio asked.

The small spirit form of Queen Serenity appeared in the ball of light.

"You!" Mio said, glaring at the former Queen of the late Moon Kingdom.

"Be gone from this young boy's dream, evil one! Away with you!" Serenity ordered with a scowl.

Mio didn't say anything. She just vanished from sight. The bright light then consumed the scene of outer space and everything went white.

Judd gasped as his eyes shot open, and he sat up. Had that just been the most insane dream of all time? That couldn't have all been real...could it? He didn't know. But he knew one thing: He was going to tell the Senshi about this and thank them in person for saving his siblings the first chance he got. He owed them that. Big time.

Had that just been the most insane dream of all time? That couldn't have all been real...could it? He didn't know. But he knew one thing: He was going to tell the Senshi about this and thank them in person for saving his siblings the first chance he got. He owed them that. Big time.

Everyone, including Uranus and Neptune, was in the children's bedroom of the command-center, with Shingo sitting on one of the bunk beds with Ikuko, Kenji, Luna and Artemis, and the only source of light being the adults' lit lanterns, which they held, minus Ikuko and Kenji, who's lit lanterns were resting on the bed. The Outer Senshi duo were also holding lit lanterns in their left hands, and they and everyone else were standing around the bed.

After Shingo saw the two figures standing the doorway of his room, his scream had scared them off, and Ikuko, Kenji, Luna and Artemis rushed into the room where he quickly told them about the two figures. They then ran out of the room with Shingo, woke the teens and the other adults, and then rushed into the children's bedroom where they awoke them, followed by Luna notifying Uranus and Neptune of what had happened by laptop, and they were there as quick as two flashes. Literally.

The girls' beds were pink and in a row on the right while the boys' beds were blue in a row on the left.

"There were two people standing there in the doorway of my room just...just staring at me." Shingo said, telling everyone what happened.

"It was them." Luna said, getting everyone's attention. "The mystery hacker."

"You didn't even see them." Shingo said.

Kenji thought maybe Shingo was just seeing things while Ikuko thought their son had just had a bad dream.

"What mystery hackers? What are you talking about?" Uranus asked.

Luna sighed. "On the day you two and the rest of the Senshi and Tuxedo Mask rescued all of the kids from New Island...someone hacked into the command-center's system."

"What?!" Everyone gasped.

"That was five months ago!" Artemis said.

"Why would you keep something like that a secret from us, Luna?!" Neptune demanded.

"Because you were all off rescuing those kids in New Zealand and I didn't want to jeopardize it with worry and fear." Luna admitted.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Uranus asked.

"I'm telling you now." Luna said.

"No, I mean, FIVE MONTHS AGO when we got back to the command-center from rescuing the kids." Uranus said.

"Because I didn't think we were in any danger." Luna said.

"Are you nuts?! You find out someone's hacked the system and you don't think that warrants danger? You don't think that's worth mentioning?! You don't think that's gonna jeopardize us, you and everyone here?!" Kenji.

"Look, I admit was worried at first too, but not after what they sent me." Luna said.

"And just what did they send you?" Alex asked.

"They sent me a map of the United States of America that showed several purple asteroids heading for Ohio. It's because of them that I was able to alert Sailor Moon and Venus and dispatch them to Arkon to warn the mayor the evacuate the city." Luna explained.

"Which he didn't do, by the way." Artemis said.

"Even so, it's because of this hacker that we learned about the next ASTRO-V impact." Luna said.

"So what, is this person like on our side or something?" Derek asked.

"I would've liked to think so at the time, yes." Luna said.

"That still didn't give you the right to keep this a secret from us!" Artemis said.

"I was going to tell you." Luna said.

"Oh, you were going to tell us?" Gary said.

"How long were you GOING to take?" Zea asked.

"When the bad guys found us and we all ended up in prison or re-education facilities like so many other believers?" Ruby said.

"I didn't wish to worry any of you. I was just trying to help." Luna said.

"Yeah, well...if you really wanted to help us...you would've told us the truth from day 1." Cole said.

"Yeah!" The other kids agreed.

"Look, I knew it wasn't good that someone had hacked the system, I just didn't realize how close they were to finding us." Luna said.

"Okay. Alright, you're forgiven." Uranus said to Luna. "Here's what I want you all to do. I want you to get into the closet, stay there, and Neptune and I will have a look around the command-center."

"Okay." Ikuko said. She and Kenji got their lanterns off the bed, and they, Shingo, Artemis and Luna got off the bed and they and everyone else ran to the closet door at the end of the aisle of the room where Neptune opened it, revealing it to be a large walk-in closet, and everyone, minus Uranus and Neptune, got inside and sat down.

"I'm scared." Jake said fearfully.

"Shh. I need you to be really quite. Stay right here." Neptune said before closing the door.

Uranus' sword and Neptune's mirror appeared in their right hands.

"Come on, Neptune." Uranus said before running off.

"I'm right behind you, Uranus." Neptune said as she ran after her Senshi partner.

They didn't know who this was that broke into the command-center or how they had hacked the system and found it, but they knew this much: They were about to wish they hadn't.

Inside the closet, the children sat on the floor with everyone else, filled with fear and dread, and though they were trying really hard not to display it, the teens, the two cats, and adults were afraid as well.

Ikuko got up and went to the door and put her right ear up to it to listen.

In the children's bedroom, Uranus and Neptune ran toward the entrance door where they stopped when they heard the sound of someone bumping into stuff on the other side.

Uranus and Neptune kept listening and hearing someone bump into stuff again and again. The two intruders Shingo saw, no doubt. Clearly they didn't have any flash-lights or lanterns with them, as they could see where they were going in the dark command-center. That was good. This would make it easy for the Outer Senshi duo to ambush them.

There was a moment of silence outside the children's bedroom...and then someone banged on the door, starting Uranus and Neptune. There was then another bang on the door, this time louder, startling everyone Inside the closet.

As Uranus and Neptune stood in position to use their weapons while the nob on the door started turning, they wondered who could be on the other side of the door. GC? Spies? ASTRO infected? Or perhaps bounty hunters? Either way, this wasn't good, and the Senshi duo were ready to defend and protect everyone here. The door opened half-way, then Uranus opened it the rest of the way...but there was no one on the other side, much to the Senshi's confusion.

The two Outer Senshi exited the children's bedroom, Neptune closing the door afterwards, entering the kids room, and they looked around for any sign of life, but there wasn't one. This made no sense. They'd both heard the same noises, the same bumping and banging sounds. Someone was in the command-center. No question. They both headed up the stair-case and then exited through the door, with Neptune closing it afterwards.

Uranus and Neptune were now slowly walking down the dark hallway, searching for the intruders. They came to a stop at another dark hall. They shined their lanterns down the hall and saw that no one was there. They were positive they heard someone right outside the children's bedroom. Two individuals. But there had been no one in the room.

The Senshi heard the sound of running and shined their lanterns down the hall in front of them and saw the backs of two figures racing down the hall.

"Hey!" Uranus called. "Hey!" She repeated as she and Neptune chased after the two figures. They followed them into the command-room where they tackled the screaming intruders to the floor.

"No! Please!" Begged the first figure with a female voice.

"Don't shoot!" The second figure added, also with a female voice.

"I don't think it's loaded." Uranus said, referring to her sword before she and Neptune turned the two invaders over on their backs, revealing them to be dirty Japanese teenage-girls.

The first girl had short purple messy hair and violet eyes, and she was dressed for the winter.

The second girl had long black messy hair and green eyes, and she too was dressed for the winter.

"Hey!" came the voice of Ikuko before Uranus and Neptune looked behind them to see her, Mayumi, Naru, Umino and Saki rushed into the room. "What's going on in here?"

"We caught the intruders." Neptune said.

"Fantastic, let us see." Mayumi said.

Uranus and Neptune stood up, allowing the two girls to sit up, and the others shined their lanterns on the two girls, revealing them.

"Who are they? And what are they doing here?" Ikuko asked, confused.

"I don't know, they haven't said." Uranus stated.

"Who are you?" Neptune demanded.

"Wait a minute." Naru began. "Wait a minute. I know these two."

"What?" Mayumi said.

"I know these two." Naru repeated.

"Yeah, so do I." Umino added, adjusting his glasses.

"Well, who are they?" Uranus asked.

"Everyone, this is Kuri and Yumiko." Naru answered. "The purple head is Kuri and the black head is Yumiko. They're friends of Usagi's. Or at least they WERE until they turned against her with the rest of the students at school because she decided to become RELIGIOUS, as they put it. And as if that wasn't enough, they became a part of Mio's smear campaign when everyone thought Usagi had hurt her."

"What are you doing here?" Umino demanded, folding his arms.

By this point, the girls known as Kuri and Yumiko were now crying.

"We...we-we weren't doing anything wrong. We were just looking for some place to hide." Kuri said, tears running down her face.

"Hide? Hide from what?" Mayumi asked.

"Our parents." Yumiko answered, tears also running down her face.

"Why would you be hiding from your parents?" Saki asked suspiciously, baring a stern look.

Kuri was silent for a moment as more tears ran down her face. "Because they were chasing after us."

"Why?" Ikuko asked.

"The ASTRO-V thing, it...it got them. Their eyes turned a glowing purple and they attacked us." Yumiko answered through sobs.

"What is this? A trick?!" Naru demanded.

"N-no, no, it's true. We're telling the truth." Kuri said.

"Since when has that mattered to you? You didn't care about the truth when Usagi and her other friends were trying to tell you about the vanishings." Naru said.

"Or when she tried telling you she didn't hurt Mio!" Umino said.

"We know, and we're sorry, okay?" Yumiko said. "We just...We were just wondering if maybe we could stay here with you guys. Please."

"Please let us stay, we have nowhere else to go." Kuri begged.

Naru took the time to examine Usagi's two former friends. Kuri's once short black hair was now cut shorter and dyed purple, Yumiko's once shoulder-length black hair was now longer, and both girls had a patch of hair missing. The last one was likely due to the attack from their parents. That was what the ASTRO Virus did after all. Once an adult inhaled it's purple smoke, it turned them against all kids, including their own. They could've been making this up. But even so...housing them here was too great a risk. She opened her mouth to give her answer when-

"Of course you can. We have plenty of room." Mayumi said. "Come with me, I'll show you where the bedroom is."

"Oh, thank you." Kuri said.

"You won't regret this." Yumiko assured. She and Kuri stood up and they followed Mayumi out of the command-room as Naru turned and glared at them.

Naru was silent for a moment. "We better not."

The next morning in Seattle, at the abandoned pool area, Flame awoke inside the first-aid station and sat up on the sofa. He removed his blue shirt as he stood up, followed by placing it on the sofa.

Later, now wearing an orange short sleeve shirt with a gray long sleeve shirt underneath, as well as still wearing his black pants and wearing the same sneakers he wore yesterday, the 10-year old street boy walked over to the refrigerator and he opened it and reached in to get something to eat.

Outside, sitting on the life-guard seat, Jupiter waited for Brenden to come out.

Flame came out of the first-aid station, carrying his skate-board and helmet, with a croissant on a napkin, a small carton of orange juice and a banana on it, walked to the edge of the pool, and he sat the board and helmet down on the snow-covered ground.

Jupiter looked at the snacks on Brenden's skate-board. One croissant...a small carton of orange juice...and a banana. Not much of a breakfast, much less a meal. He wasn't even dressed properly for this kind of cold weather. But this kid was homeless and without parents, so he had to make do with what he had and take what he could get...just like her.

Flame picked up the napkin with the croissant and took a bite of the croissant. He then noticed Sailor Jupiter sitting in the life-guard seat on the other side of the pool, and she waved at him with her right hand. The boy was baffled. He was actually looking at one of the wanted moon aliens. He and Jupiter stared at each other for a moment before she disappeared in a flash of green light and re-appeared beside the boy, startling him, and they continued starring at one another.

"Hi." Jupiter greeted.

"Hey." Flame said.

Jupiter looked at the croissant in the boy's hand. She hadn't eaten anything in a while and she figured the boy wouldn't mind sharing his breakfast. "Mind if I take a bite of that?"

Flame then offered the croissant and napkin to Jupiter. "It's all your's."

"Thanks." Jupiter said before taking the napkin and croissant from Brenden. Although she wasn't certain if he was just trying to be nice or if he was doing it of fear. She sat down at the edge of the pool and began eating the rest croissant.

Flame sat down beside Jupiter, his skate-board between them, and stared at the Japanese girl, eyeing her suspiciously as she ate the croissant. He picked up the banana and peeled it.

After taking another bite of the croissant, Jupiter looked at Brenden, who was staring at her. She took another bite of the croissant.

Flame took a bite of his peeled banana as he continued to stare at the female moon alien vigilante.

"What's wrong? Haven't you ever seen a Japanese girl eating before?" Jupiter asked.

Flame chuckled. He took the orange juice off his board, drunk some of it before placing it on the ground on his left, then handed his board to Jupiter, placing it in her lap.

"What?" Jupiter said, confused.

"So do you wanna try it?" Flame asked.

"Sorry, but can't. Wearing heels." Jupiter said.

Flame looked down at Jupiter's feet and saw she was wearing white high heel boots. Not the kind of footwear for skate-boarding. "Oh. Sorry."

Jupiter just shrugged her shoulders before finishing the rest of the croissant.

There was then a buzz sound, and Flame reached inside his left pants pocket, got out his cellphone and looked at it and saw that he had gotten a text. He clicked on the text icon, logged in, and looked at the text sent by an unknown sender that only he knew.

Meeting at the base tonight at 9:00.

Don't be late.

"What's wrong?" Jupiter asked, getting Brenden's attention.

"Nothing. Nothings wrong." Flame said. "You know..." He said as he put his phone back in his left pocket. "I don't believe I ever got your name."

Jupiter. Sailor Jupiter."

"Name's Flame. Nice to meet you."

Jupiter smiled. "Nice to meet you too."

Bartha sat on a bench at the Seattle park, thinking about Brenden. She then thought back to when she first met Brenden...and the promise she had made to him.

Last year... After World War III

Washington, D.C.

Bartha sat at her desk in her office in the D.C. Social Services building, going through paper-work while 9-year old Brenden sat in a rolling-chair in front of her desk, his hair brown.

"My name is Miss Coral, I'm with Child Services of the state of Washington." Bartha said while flipping through the paper-work, followed by stopping at a page. "Okay, Brenden Cunningham. Age 9. Mother killed in the third world war"." She said, reading what was written on the page. "Home long have you been in the foster system?"

"19 Days." Brenden said.

Bartha looked at Brenden.

"I've been counting." Brenden said.

"That's a long time." Bartha said.

"...Yeah." Brenden answered.

"Do you have any other family members in D.C.?" Bartha asked.

Brenden shook his head.

"What about your Dad?" Bartha asked.

"I never met him." Brenden said.

Bartha was silent for a moment.

"I-i...I don't wanna be sent away." Brenden said.

"I understand." Bartha said. "There are a lot of children who are scared that if they leave their first foster home, their relatives will never be able to find them." She explained as tears filled Brenden's blue eyes. "But my job is to make sure that nothing like that happens to you. So there's nothing to be scared of, I promise."

Brenden nodded as the tears ran down his face. "Thank you."

Bartha smiled. "I'm gonna do something I've never done with kids before." She reached into her right pants pocket and got out a card. "If you ever need to talk about anything..." She offered the card to Brenden. "call me."

Brenden took the card.

"Think about what I said." Bartha said before Brenden wiped the tears from his face with his right arm.

"You can go wait out in the hall now." Bartha said.

Brenden got up and headed for the door.

Bartha smiled as she watched the young boy leave her office.

Tears had filled Bartha's eyes and were now running down her face. She had promised Brenden that he wouldn't be sent away to another foster home. A promise she sadly hadn't been able to keep. Due to the damage D.C. had sustained from World War 3, the city was no longer livable and everyone was evacuated, which made her move Brenden to another foster home. Something she had promised him wouldn't happen. If only that was the only time she had broken a promise to him. If only she had tried harder to find him a home. A good home.

"Miss?" Came a female voice, getting Bartha's attention. Standing in front of her was an Asian teenage-girl who looked to be about 17 or 18 years old. She had long blond hair in two long pony-tails, two buns on her head, and she had blue eyes. She was very pretty for her age.

"Oh." Bartha said. "Hi." She said, wiping the tears from her face. "Who are you?"

"I'm Serena Terumi. I'm 18 years old and I'm from Japan. Who are you?" Said the Asian girl. U-beknownst to Bartha, this was actually Usagi Tsukino, aka Sailor Moon.

"Bartha Coral. CPS."

"GC?" Usagi asked.

"I prefer Social Services." Bartha corrected. Oh, this was it. This girl was gonna get scared and run away from her like so many street kids had done to so many other social workers. Truth be known, she really couldn't blame them. Ever since the GC took control of all the Social Services units, kids in need wanted nothing to do with any of them. Not that they wanted anything to do with before. Parentless kids on the streets didn't trust Social Services. They had every right not to trust them now. After all, it wasn't like the GC had the perfect reputation.

"Are you alright? You look like you could use someone to talk to. May I sit down?" Usagi asked.

"Uh...sure." Bartha said. This girl wasn't scared of her? She wasn't gonna run?

Usagi sat down on the bench by Bartha. "I guess I should...apologize for watching you."

"Oh, no, that's alright." Bartha assured.

""What's wrong?" Usagi asked, a sad expression on her face.

"Nothing, I was just...thinking." Bartha said.

"About what?" Usagi asked.

"This kid I'm looking for. His name's Brenden Cunningham. He ran away from a foster home after the earthquake/meteor shower. I've been searching for him ever since." Bartha explained.

"What makes you think he's here though?" Usagi asked.

"There's a skate-boarding contest happening here in Seattle called 'Battle Boarders', and Brenden loves to skate-board. No way would he miss an event like that." Bartha said.

"What are you gonna do when you find him?" Usagi asked curiously.

"I guess I can take him to a children's shelter." Bartha said. "There he will stay until I can find him a good home."

"Miss Coral, many of the children's homes in America are over-crowded." Usagi said. "If Brenden goes to one, they'll have a difficult time just finding him a bed to sleep in. Besides, he needs a family, one that will love him and make him feel safe. He doesn't need to be in a shelter, group home or orphanage."

"How dare you imply I don't care about Brenden!" Bartha yelled as she shot up from the bench. "I make the decisions about him, not you! I said he will be going to the children's shelter, and he is! Good day!" She said before storming off.

As Usagi watch the CPS lady go, blind rage filled her. How could someone be so empathetic one minute and lacking in compassion the next? Yet at the same time, she knew there was something more troubling this woman. If there was one thing her mother taught her growing up it was that hurt people hurt other people. They didn't mean to, it just happened. Usagi gazed up at the dark cloud-covered sky. "Please..." She begged God. "do something to help Brenden and to heal Miss Coral and change her mind."

Inside a store in Seattle, several kids, all boys, were robbing and trashing the place. Two pre-teen boys, one Japanese and one American, were looting the cash register, both wearing bandanas that covered their faces, minus their eyes, and they wore the red kanji tattoo. The Japanese boy's kanji was on his right hand and the American boy's kanji was on his forehead.

The male clerk, meanwhile, was lying behind the counter, with his face battered and bleeding. He had been attacked by the kids.

A Japanese teenage-boy picked up a camcorder, wearing the kanji on his right hand and a bandana that covered his face, minus his eyes.

An American teenage-boy grabbed a TV off one of the shelves, wearing the kanji on his right hand and a bandana that covered his face, minus his eyes.

A Mexican pre-teen boy, wearing the red kanji on his left hand and a bandana that covered his face, minus his eyes, grabbed a TV off another shelf.

The rest of the kids, mostly Japanese, some American, some black, some Mexican and few Korean, most teenagers and some pre-teens, kept trashing the store with metal bats, with all of them having the kanji tattoo and wearing bandanas that covered their faces, except their eyes.

A black pre-teen boy, with the kanji on his forehead and a bandana covering his face, except his eyes, was hitting the male clerk with a metal bat, who was now sitting up against the wall, but not too hard to where it could seriously injure him.

"Motto tsuyoku!" Said another Japanese teenage-boy.
"Harder!"

Robert drove his police car through the city of Seattle, with Setsuna sitting in the front passenger-seat, wearing a winter police uniform. The Japanese young woman looked around at the city as she and Robert rode down the street. Even though this was her first time here, she knew that the city hadn't always looked the way it currently did from online research. Seattle, a once prosperous community, was now a dystopian city. It looked like the black side of a town. The hood, to be precise.

"Now, pay attention, Trista. While patrolling a community here in the U.S., you've gotta keep a sharp eye out for criminal activity." Robert said.

"Yes, sir." Setsuna said. Like she didn't know what the law's job was. She was usually a composed woman, but she didn't like the way this man was coming down on her. What was his problem?

Robert then brought the car to a stop. "Well, well...looks like we just found ourselves a robbery. Maybe a looting."

Setsuna looked where Robert was looking and saw the open double-doors of the back of a white van, with merchandise in it. What makes you think it's either of those?"

"I've been on the force 23 years. I know a robbery and looting when I see it. Wait right here. I'll go check it out." Robert said before removing his seat-belt and getting out of the car, closing the door back. He took out his handgun from it's sheath and then ran off for the store.

Setsuna watched as Robert headed for the store, then blew out a breath of relief that he had stopped the car, got out, and left. At least she didn't have to hear him speak ill of the child gangs that were terrorizing Seattle anymore. She didn't hate the officer anything like that...but she couldn't say she was sorry he was gone from her presence, even if it was only for a few minutes. Because she wasn't.

Robert rushed up to the glass door of the store, pulled it open, and rushed inside the building. "FREEZE!" He shouted, aiming his gun, making all the kids stop what they were doing and focus on him. The officer saw that they had the red kanji tattoo on them.

"That's right! Hold it right there!" Came a female voice from behind.

Robert turned to see Sailor Pluto standing in the open doorway of the store. "Sailor Pluto?! What are you doing here?!"

"Same as you. Stopping robbers from looting the place." Pluto answered. She looked around, but didn't see any sign of the robbers. Only a bunch of kids, all boys, with most of them being Japanese, some of them being American, some being black, some being Mexican, some being Korean, most being teenagers and few being pre-teens. The Senshi the noticed the battered clerk standing behind the counter. "Where'd they go?"

"Where'd they go? They're still here! Little monsters!" The clerk said.

Pluto just froze, now emotionally numb and speechless. She looked at the kids again and noticed that they all had red kanji tattoos on them, just like the other kids in the mug-shot photos back at the police station. Though their faces were covered with bandanas, she could see in their eyes that they also all had the same exact creepy facial expressions. Her emotional numbness returned. Even though it had been four months since her battle with Jake on New Island, fighting against children hadn't gotten any easier. And she didn't expect it to change.

"Hands up!" Robert said, turning back to the kids, aiming his gun, which made all of them drop their bats and the stolen merchandise and put their hands up. "Let's go! Everybody over here! Move it! Now!"

All of the kids went over to the where Robert was on his left, then he turned to face them.

"Hands on top of your heads!" Robert ordered, and the kids put their hands on top of their heads. "Nobody move." He said sternly.

Pluto entered the store, the door closing behind her, and approached the kids. "Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need"." Pluto said, quoted Ephesians 4:28.

"Huh?" The kids said, with confused looks.

"Treasure gained by wickedness does not profit, but righteousness delivers from death". Pluto said, quoting Exodus 22:7.

"What is she talkin' about?" A black pre-teen boy asked.

"Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them"." Pluto said, quoting Jeremiah 7:9-11.

"Yo, she's wacked up." Said a Korean pre-teen boy.

"Shimashou iku." Said a Japanese pre-teen.
"Let's go."

The point is-" Pluto was cut off when all of the kids ran to the door, pushed it open, and rushed out of the store, followed by the sound of the white van outside starting up and speeding off with the stolen merchandise that was loaded in the back of it.

Robert lowered his gun. "What was that?"

"What?" Pluto asked.

"What was that? What, did you think quotin' a bunch of storybook poems to a bunch of gang banging brats was gonna accomplish, huh?" Robert asked.

"I was just trying to help them." Pluto said coolly.

"Yeah, welll...you helped them alright. Helped them escape." Robert said before placing his gun back into his sheath. "Stay out of police business." He said before walking up to the door, pushing it open, and exiting the door, followed by it closing back.

Pluto looked at the battered clerk. "My apologies, sir." She said before vanishing in a flash of indigo light, which baffled the clerk.

Setsuna re-appeared in the passenger-seat of Robert's police car, no longer Sailor Pluto, but back in her police uniform, which dumbfounded her, as she had never been able to do anything like this before. Disappear from a place as Sailor Pluto and then re-appear as her citizen self somewhere else. Had to be Heavenly intervention.

Robert then opened the driver door and got inside.

"Hey, I saw a group of young ones running out of the store just now. What happened? How'd it go?" Setsuna said, acting as if she had no clue what had happened.

Robert closed the door. "I'll tell you about it during the rest of the patrol." He said as he put his seat-belt on.

"Oh, very well." Setsuna said before putting her seat-belt on.

Robert started the car back of and drove off, with him and Setsuna resuming their patrol.

Somewhere in a dark room, a figure stood in front surveillance screens displaying the Seattle police chief, who was answering questions at the police station.

"We are personally executing a plan of re-deployment. And we'll minimize report time while minimizing coordination between patrol units. And a decentralized networking scheme." The police chief explained.

The scene on the screens then changed to News, April O'Bryan, holding her wireless microphone in her right hand. She was the one who's questions the chief was answering.

"Huh?" April said. "I'm not sure I understand that, chief Stark. Would you mind repeating it in plane English, please?" She said before putting her mic up to the chief's mouth.

The screens changed back to chief Stark. "What that means, Miss O'Bryan, is that we have everything well in hand."

The screens changed back to April. "Then you know why the crime rate has been mysteriously going off the charts lately."

The screens changed back to chief Stark. "No, I didn't say that either, Miss O'Bryan. If you would stick to asking questions, it would be a lot more helpful."

The screens changed back to April. "What do you know about a mysterious organization known as the Kirin Empire?"

The screens changed back to chief Stark. "There is no evidence to link such an organization to these incidents."

The screens changed back to April. "Are you denying that such an organization exist?"

The figure threw a hunting knife at one of the screens displaying April, cracking it.

The screens changed back to chief Stark. "I'm not denying anything. Again, you're putting words into my mouth."

The screens changed back to April. "I'm sorry, chief." She said before withdrawing her mic. "But it often seems that somebody ought to."

"Sagasu kanojo. Soshin kanojo a messeji." The figure said in Japanese in a deep distorted voice.
"Find her. Send her a message."

That night in Seattle, inside the abandoned pool area's first-aid station, Flame was sitting on the sofa with Sailor Jupiter, using a small tool to tighten the wheels on his his skate-board that resting sideways on his legs. They had spent the whole day together, becoming fast friends.

Jupiter watched the boy in astonishment as he worked on his board.

"How's this?" Flame asked.

"Nice." Jupiter said.

Flame sat his skate-board down flat on his legs, then he got two plastic bottles of blue Gatorade off the floor, handing Jupiter one.

"Thanks." Jupiter said.

Flame and Jupiter both took a sip of their Gatorades. The 10-year old boy then stared at the Senshi as she took another sip of her drink.

Jupiter noticed this and stopped drinking her Gatorade. "What?"

"Nothing, nothing. It's just-" Flame stopped himself, followed by sitting his drink on the table in front of him and Jupiter, then he reached inside his backpack on the floor beside him and got out a wanted poster of the Sailor Senshi. "This is you and your friends, isn't it?"

Jupiter was silent for a moment. "Yeah."

"Looks like you're wanted." Flame said.

"Looks like it." Jupiter said. This was no surprise to her. After all, Carpathia and Mio had done everything in the News media to make her and the rest of the Senshi look like monsters to the world. Why not put a bounty on their heads while at it?

"You don't seem dangerous." Flame said.

"Yeah. People are finding out a lot of stuff that isn't true now a-days." Jupiter said.

"I know what it's like to have people looking for you for no reason." Flame said.

"You do?" Jupiter asked. Someone was after this kid? Who? Why? What would they want with a street kid?

"I won't tell anyone." Flame promised.

Jupiter sighed with relief. "Great. And thank you."

Later, Flame was skate-boarding through the alley, wearing his helmet, with Jupiter following him unaware at the top of a building. She had to find out where he was going. But who were the people that were looking for him? What could they possibly want with him? She didn't know. But whoever they were...they would have to deal with her first in order to get to him. And that was a promise.

To be continued…
