Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Noble Guardians. Enjoy the 2200-word chapter. I do not own Halo, Microsoft, 343, and a few others do.

(Reach, unknown cave, August 13th 20:07)

Gadge looked out over the rest of the landscape, not knowing where they were even now, and for good reason.

They had a LOT more to deal with now and for good reason. The sky held death now…. Now? It held death that would not relent….

The shadow of a CSO-Class Supercarrier hung over Reach, a monstrous warship that dwarfed everything on it now and for good reason.

He had a lot more on his mind either way, a lot more he could not have dealt with… Not now, not ever when it was decided.

Gadge turned to Rose, pausing to think for but a moment… Think and act and not once would they act against the idea of something like this.

"A damn supercarrier," Gadge muttered as he cursed, angry and annoyed.

Jorge stayed silent but it was clear his rage was boiling over… It would continue to boil over. They had a LOT of things that needed to be done and dusted now and for good reason.

They had been too interested in what came next, too fascinated with it to the end of time. Such was life, war was not going to change how they looked to the side once more.

All their worst fears were coming to a head now. She would not be done and dusted, she would be over it now and for good reasons at the time being as it was all said and done.

She was too interested in what was being done and dusted for now as it was all eagerly destroyed. The covenant did a LOT to attempt to end this, a LOT to destroy the planet.

Now? Now they had a stand to make, a line in the sand that would determine things now and for good… All of it might be too much for them now… But it would be enough to end it now.

Gadge looked at Jorge, guessing the Spartan-II was not taking it well. No, not at all, he could not blame him for that.

None of them knew this was coming, none of them were prepared for such a strike, crashing down on them like this. No, they had to do better… They could do better and they would always try to do better now when it came to it all at the end of the day, such was how a Spartan did things.

The problem? They did not have TIME to go do things, time to go relax and go tear through it to the end of it.

He sighed to himself with outrage as he realized that all of this was for almost nothing.

All of them were silent, and all of them would remain silent as Gadge looked at Jorge, frowning before reaching up to remove his helm.

The Spartan was greeted by a face that was still in its 20s, a face full of light stubble but with the pinpricks of war on it. The scar under the young man's blue eyes reminded him of a zig-zag.

"Just so you know? I did not want to believe that garbage about the Covenant coming to Reach full tilt. I was hoping we blew up a few of their ships and then we all get to sing songs around the campfire." Gadge stated before he turned to the side.

"You think you can blow that thing up?" Emile asked as Gadge warily smiled.

"I can blow the crap out of anything, Emile. You ask her… Problem is? They are going to blow the hell out of us before I get close enough." Gadge stated to which Jorge frowned.

He knew damn well what was being spoken about. The ship in orbit? The one they were focused on taking apart? He knew they also had to lose a lot to take it out, the damn supercarrier outgunned ANYTHING the planet had and to challenge that was a shark being hunted in a coral reef.

Granted? None of the Spartans saw it that way. The IIIs of the group saw it as a monster that deserved to be smashed again and again and again against the ground until it broke entirely.

Jorge? Jorge saw it as a tactical asset to be taken out of play. Granted? He was beginning to hate it now and for good.

They had a LOT of issues, and a LOT of different ideas when it came down to it. Something about it all came down to it, she and he were quietly able to think of it differently now.

Noble Team seemed to look at the sky where the faintest glimpse of the warship could be seen above them, it looked less like a ship and more like a hauntingly beautiful city.

To Gadge and Jorge? It was beginning to look more like a monster lurking in some deep ocean when it came down to it.

He sighed before he looked to the side, too much had been done to fix it. Rose looked over at him before the group turned back to Carter who was already walking over to them with interest.

They all looked at the commander, guessing that he had some sort of plan. It was not very often that they were drawn in by these sorts of things.

He cleared his throat to go to speak, unsure of what was growing in his mind before he sighed to himself, thinking of it when it came down now before she looked to the ground.

She was able to think of it when it came to such an idea now when all of it was decided by a thousand different little ideas.

"Does that plan involve us taking out the iron monster overhead?" Gadge questioned as Carter nodded. "Then I am all ears, sir…. With all due respect? It is becoming an eyesore." Gadge stated with dull mirth.

He knew damn well it was not a joke and damn well Jorge had every reason to strangle him for the remark. He did not think it was a joke at all and would gladly wish to kill the ship as payback for what it visited on Reach.

However? Despite the hulking Spartan-II walking towards him, he said and did nothing besides look at Carter.

"What is the plan, sir?" Jorge asked in a tone that was just shy of dripping with massive amounts of venom from every single word.

(Within 10 minutes)

"That… Is a crazy plan." Emile stated before Rose laughed.

"Rich coming from you, Emile," Rose stated as the Spartan-III shrugged.

"How are we supposed to take over an entire corvette, prep it for launch, and then send it into the heart of that ship?" Gadge asked before Kat pointed at Six. "Oh, so we're going crazy, got it…" Gadge stated with more mirth now.

Carter cracked a chuckle as he realized all of them were joking and morale was high… They knew it was a long shot destroying a Covenant Supercarrier. The hard part was not doing it so much as making sure they WOULD do it…

The mission was suicide, they would be thrown into the heart of the most powerful Covenant warship the UNSC had seen and were expected to pretty much smash it to pieces.

"Does it look like we have a choice, Noble?" Carter asked finally, tapping his fingers in the dirt.

"Nope… Just pointing out the fact what we are doing is 100% super insane and I am eager to get to work… What about the rest of us? We cannot all get into orbit, there is not enough gear." Gadge pointed out to which Kat nodded.

"Six, Jorge and Thom are going…. The rest of us are headed to New Alexandria… That is where the remains of the Covenant forces from the last battle are going… Six? When you are all done? Meet us there." Carter ordered as Gadge looked over at the trio.

It was VERY clear to him that Jorge WISHED to die… He wanted nothing more than to drag the covenant screaming down into whatever hell they considered their own. A sobering thought to him was just how odd it would have been to try and figure out just WHAT needed to be done and dusted.

She looked to the side as she wished to grasp her fingers as she looked to the side… Noble Team had to try and figure something out as she looked at the others before she looked to the side.

She seemed to think of it all when push came to shove… Push was to the side and it was not going anywhere at the time it had been tossed in now.

She sighed at her team and then thought of it differently. All of them were going through the wringer, all of them were made to be different. There were a lot of different ideas as to how it would have gone.

He had been able to think, to act… And now? They held onto more and more issues.

All of them were able to do more, all of them were going to be done poorly and would do poorly.

"How are you destroying a carrier the size of a small moon anyone? You would need a nuke and we do not have any." Gadge stated, gesturing around him.

Carter hummed to himself and smirked before he looked over at the Spartan-III who said nothing.

"Ok, what crazy plan did you all come up with 90% of us don't get to have fun in?" Rose asked with a pleading smile.

Gadge could only sigh, questionable in what was going on at the time being. All of it was odd and odder, only when it ended would it be seen.

He had a LOT more to try and deal with it now. There were a lot of ideas before now as he cracked his fingers.

He had a lot more to understand and do now.

(10 minutes later)

A pair of Falcons had landed as Gadge looked at Carter.

"That plan is either genius… Or the commander just got half of us killed," Gadge stated to which Rose shrugged.

"You act like we haven't done worse by now," Rose stated as Gadge hummed, shrugging to himself.

"Mostly curious if it will work… There are a thousand covenant armies on Reach right now and most of the fleet with that carrier headed off to New Alexandria. Splitting up will weaken us when we need not." Gadge stated as he sighed and rubbed at his temples.

Carter nodded. Splitting up the Noble Team was a tactic he did not wish for, they were all Spartans but they were better as a unit than divided all apart, only by doing this. They had a chance to get the job done.

"They wouldn't get it done if we weren't there," Thom stated to which Carter nodded, boarding a Falcon as he went.

"Maybe, but we might not get our work done without YOU guys." Gadge heard from Emile.

"We can talk about how insane the plan is after we get there, Emile… For now? You all have orders and we carry them out as best we can. When we are reunited? Then we can talk about the plans and how they worked." Carter added to which he sighed.

The others all nodded and split up. All of them knew that the next plans would be harder and harder to figure out…. Something was all said and done.

She wished it to grow more and more. Carter was eager to be done and dusted.

She seemed to be thinking of it differently, all of it had been done now. Carter was eager to think of another move to remove it from the list.

Gadge looked at the rest of the group, tired, too interested in the next move that he and Noble were making, their next move, all of it was growing more and more desperate to him.

He had a lot more to understand able Noble in his mind. All the choices that they made surprised him more than most did now.

"You should know right now that the chances we have against them in orbit? Isn't that good?" Gadge stated with a sigh to himself.

He had been able to fight, thinking? That was entirely different when it came to the objective. They all had been piling on and on and on.

Carter said nothing, all his mind was focused on trying to defeat the Covenant. They had a very limited chance of winning it at this rate but they could not just give up at the time being, Reach needed.

Part of him detected different ideas, something about it all made him surprised, they had something else to relax for now.

He was all thrown off now.
