Chapter 9: Tale of Two Spiders

Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter, now this was a fun one to write and I'd like to thank masters123lfm for this idea. And I have a little surprise at the end of this chapter for you all. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.

We find ourselves in a museum in the middle of the night. Making our way inside, we see a special exhibit Ancient Relics of Magic. Which as it turns out was the date just before the new term of Luna Nova.

As a security guard made his way through he failed to notice two figures in black watching him. One was an adult man and the other seemed to be a teenage girl with platinum blonde hair tied in a ponytail.

"Okay, I'm going to lower you down and grab whatever seems the most valuable." The man whispers.

Nodding the girl tied a cable to her back as her dad lowered her down.

Taking out a small bottle of air freshener she sprays around to reveal the laser system and lots of them were surrounding one item in particular.

"Ooh. Jackpot." She grins.

Making her way down the girl slowly approaches it to see it was an old idol in the shape of a spider.

Examining it closely she saw the faded name ARACH…OS.

Taking out her tools the girl carved a hole in the case and reached in.

When her hand stopped in front of the idol's mouth causing its eyes to glow briefly.

Opening its mouth the idol bit down on her causing her to cringe.

"Ow. What the hell?" Cringing she pulls the idol out and after giving a shake a small spider dropped out.

"Did you get it?" The man calls out.

"Yeah, pull me up." She nods.

As she made her way up, she started to pant heavily and feel dizzy.

'What is happening to me?' She groans.

Making her way to the roof, the girl and her dad made their escape.

Little did they know across from them, we see a familiar hooded figure with 8 eyes.

"Hmm, I forgot about that old idol of mine. I wonder how this will turn out?" Arachnos said interested.

Weeks later, we find ourselves in the present time.

At Luna Nova, we see Talia was reading it.

"Several jewelry stores have been robbed in the last week." Talia read aloud with Iris, Auriana, Lotte, and Nathaniel listening in.

"That's insane. How does something like that happen?" Lotte asks.

"Good thing it's on the other side of the portal," Iris said.

"Reports say the thief always strikes at night but each store the thief has robbed has been more valuable than the last." Talia read.

"Who could do such a thing?" Nathaniel asks as Jaden walks by.

Narrowing his eyes, Jaden had to figure this out.

As he made his way down the hall, he didn't notice someone coming down the opposite end pushing a cart and bumping into them.

"Oh man, I'm sorry." Jaden apologizes before noticing he bumped into a girl with platinum blonde hair, a female uniform and a student worker. This was Felicia Hardy.

"Hey, what's the rush? You almost knocked over my cart." She said.

"Sorry about that uh…wait I don't think I saw you at the Student Worker orientation." Jaden recalls.

"Yeah I was feeling under the weather and couldn't come in that first day, I'm Felicia by the way." She introduced.

"Jaden. So Felicia what's with the cart?" Jaden asks.

"Mail call. These girls pay for everything to be sent to their rooms and I'm stuck lugging it all." Felicia said.

"Boy they really make us do everything around here," Jaden said.

"Tell me about it. Honestly, do you think if I took a few of these boxes anyone would notice? I mean they order so much." Felicia said picking one up that was labeled FRAGILE.

"Don't even think about it." A female voice said.

Turning around they saw another teenage girl with dark skin, black hair, a student worker badge, and a sash that said SCHOOL PATROL. This was Ava Aayla.

"Stealing on school grounds is strictly against the rules. And lately, there's been enough rule-breaking as it is." Ava said.

"Oh…you heard about Akko and her friends ditching detention huh?" Jaden cringed.

"Yep, and Finnelan has assigned me to join the school security to make sure no more funny business happens around here," Ava said before glaring at Felicia. "I'm watching you."

As she walked away, Jaden and Felicia glanced at each other.

"You were just kidding about the whole stealing packages, right?" Jaden asks.

"Hmm maybe. Maybe not." Felica shrugs.

Unsure if it was true or not, Jaden was very happy he didn't live on campus.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the gateway, we see the Police were also looking into those robberies while Ellen Yin was doing research on Spider-Man.

"Detective Yin, you wanted to talk to me?" Commissioner Gordon said walking over.

"I'm curious Commissioner. This string of robberies. Do you think Spider-Man could be a suspect in them?" Ellen asks.

"You think he would?" Gordon raises an eyebrow.

"Until I'm convinced otherwise. I've looked into him. It's like he just appeared out of thin air and started capturing bad guys and dropping them off for us. Why would he do that?" Ellen asks.

"It's hard to say. That guy is a mystery. What do you think of him?" Gordon asks.

"He's a vigilante commissioner and he thinks he can take the law into his own hands. Whether the culprit is him or not sooner or later he's going to have to answer for his deeds." She said.

"On that we can agree." Gordon nods in agreement.

A few blocks away, we find ourselves at Winry's family shop.

"Here you go. All fixed up." Winry said handing Jaden back his board.

"Oh man, it looks like new." Jaden smiles.

"Yep and it was not easy to do I might add," Winry said.

"Thanks, Winry, I appreciate it. And actually, I can give you something in exchange for this." Jaden said getting her attention.

"You're paying me this time?" Winry asks interested.

"Sure. With this." Jaden said putting down the Luna Nova pin.

"What's this?" Winry asks.

"This Winry is how I'm able to go to Luna Nova. With this, I can travel through to the magical world and see all the cool things. And now so can you." Jaden said making her gasp.

"You're serious? If this is a joke I swear to god!" Winry starts.

"Winry, Winry, it's not a joke it's for real. See?" Jaden said showing his pin as well.

"So you mean I can actually go to the magical world? Like no strings attached?" Winry asks.

"Of course, what kind of friend would I be if I hoarded this once-in-a-lifetime experience all to myself?" Jaden smiles.

Smiling Winry takes the pin and admires it.

"Thanks, Jaden, you're the best." She said pulling him into a hug.

"Oh, you know…I just do what I can." Jaden chuckles nervously.

"So how does this thing work? Is it like a key or something? I walk up and it lets me in?" Winry asks pinning it to her clothes.

"It's a little hard to explain. How about I show you how on my next easy day? We can go together maybe I can even introduce you to some friends." Jaden offers.

"I'll hold you to that," Winry said.

That night, as a figure in black was swinging through the streets it stopped atop a super classy fashion boutique with gleaming jewelry on the inside.

Firing a web, the figure yanks the vent open before climbing in.

Dropping down onto the floor the figure looks around before grabbing one of the high-end purses off the rack and using it to put all the jewels inside.

"You know, they saw you can a lot about a woman by the contents of her purse. And yours just screams bad news." Looking up the figure saw Spider-Man hanging upside down.

"Well, well, well so you're the famous Spider-Man. I've heard a lot about you." Slowly stepping forward Spider-Man saw the figure was a female with platinum blonde hair tied in a ponytail, a white and black mask similar to his over her eyes, and a black and white spandex suit with web patterns across her chest.

"What in the? Another Spider?" Spider-Man said surprised.

"What? Did you think you were the only one?" She smirks as he jumps down to meet her level.

"Who are you?" Spider-Man asks.

"The name's Night Spider." She declares. "Now if you don't mind, I'd like to continue my shopping spree."

She was about to leave when Spider-Man webs her arm to a clothing rack.

"I do mind actually. Because people seem to think that I'm the one pulling all your thefts." Spider-Man said.

"Aw really? I'm sorry I had no idea. Tell you what to show there's no hard feelings I'll give you a cut from this heist. And if you help me get the really expensive stuff I might even give you a thank you kiss." Night Spider flirts.

"Tempting, but I was thinking more along the lines of you putting everything back and leaving," Spider-Man said.

"Aww party pooper. You must not be popular with the ladies." Night Spider said.

It's a good thing she couldn't see under the mask because if she did Jaden would be blushing red embarrassed.

"Why are you doing this?" Spider-Man asks.

"Easy…I wanted to see if I was as strong as you." Breaking free from his web, Night Spider throws the clothing rack at him.

Jumping over, the rack crashed into the window causing the alarm.

"Uh oh, looks like this match is timed." Night Spider said firing a web and swinging in.

Dodging it, Spider-Man lunges at her.

As the two spiders clash Night Spider swings a kick but Spider-Man blocks it.

Delivering a left hook, Spider-Man knocks her back.

"Ooh, so you do have some fight in you." She grins.

Firing a web, he tries to yank the purse out of her hand but Night Spider pulls him in and smacks him with the purse.

"Sorry Spidey but I'm not a bug you can squash easily." Night Spider said jumping up and crawling along the ceiling.

"Well, good thing I don't go down easy." Crawling from the opposite end the two stand up and begin fighting upside down.

As punches and kicks are exchanged, Spider-Man fires a web but Night Spider sidesteps.

Jumping down, Night Spider fires a web at his leg yanking to the ground and tying him up.

She was about to move in when she noticed the police cars coming.

"Aww guess our little night is over. Had fun Spidey, let's do it again sometime." Night Spider giggles before making her escape.

Cutting himself free Spider-Man slowly got up only to see the police storm in with guns pointed at him.

"Oh come on," Spider-Man said as Ellen stepped forward.

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here." Ellen said.

"Okay I know this looks bad and you people probably have heard this excuse a million times but you got the wrong Spider," Spider-Man said confusing some of the cops.

"Oh really? You mean to say there's another person who is climbing up walls, firing webs, and stealing?" Ellen asks pointing her gun at him.

"Believe me I know how crazy it sounds. I'd love to stay and chat but got a thief to track down." Spider-Man said about to leave but the police weren't having any of that.

"You're not going anywhere. You're coming with us." Ellen said.

"Yeah…no thanks," Spider-Man said.

Creating two balls of light in his hands Spider-Man smacks them together creating a flashbomb and blinding everyone.

When the light died down the cops saw Spider-Man was gone.

"Dammit! He couldn't have gotten far! Hurry!" Ellen said as they went off in search of the man they assumed to be the culprit.

Little did they know around the corner, Spider-Man reappeared revealing he just turned invisible to them.

'As if dealing with Night Spider wasn't bad enough.' Spider-Man thought before leaving.

Meanwhile, across town we see Barbara Gordon walking home from Gymnastics.

"Ugh is this gonna be my life? Magic school, gymnastics, and home? Man Dad's never gonna let me be a detective." Barbara sighs.

Kicking a plastic can it flew down an alley hitting a trash can and a few bats flew out making Barbara yelp as they flew past her.

Looking up, Barbara saw the bats take off into the night.

As she made her way home, she slowly opened the door and heard her father on the phone.

"So you saw Spider-Man break in and rob the place?" Gordon said making Barb gasp softly. "Are you sure you didn't see any stolen merchandise on him when he escaped? Hmm, I see. Be on the lookout for him. Until we have answers I want every officer on high alert for that Web Slinger."

Once he hung up the door slowly opened.

"Whoo. What a day." Barbara said pretending to just walk in.

"Hey sweetie, how were lessons?" Gordon asks.

"Same old same old. Any new Spidey drama?" Barbara asks.

"Nothing you need to worry about." Gordon assures.

"If you say so. I'm gonna go change and I'll meet you for dinner." Barbara said walking to her room.

"Don't be too long." He said.

Closing the door, Barbara took out her purple gym leotard.

"Hmm, I wonder." Barbara pauses getting an idea.

The next day at Luna Nova, we find ourselves in class.

As Badcock was giving a math lecture, Jaden's mind was elsewhere thinking about Night Spider.

'Aside from her webs, she didn't use much magic but she's really agile and strong. If she is like me the big question was how much she was holding back or not?' Jaden thought.

"Psst Jaden. Teacher" Akko whispers but Jaden didn't notice until she was right in front of him.

"Mr. Cooper." Prof. Badcock said getting his attention.

"Uh yes, ma'am?" Jaden said looking up.

Looking at him much of the class giggled.

"Since you seem to be having trouble concentrating perhaps you wouldn't mind solving the problem on the board," Badcock said pointing to the board.

"Uh okay," Jaden said getting up.

As he made his way down, Amanda couldn't help but smirk. "Oof poor guy."

"Why? He's gonna fail." Hannah said.

"And then Diana will solve it like always," Cindy said as Diana just watched Jaden.

"Well Jaden, any idea how to solve it?" Badcock smirks.

"Yeah. Like this." Grabbing the chalk Jaden got to work. "By calculating the number of the angle and then multiplying it by the square root of the sum and dividing it by the total. You should come to this." Jaden said circling his answer.

"Th-That's correct," Badcock said surprised. Even when he wasn't fully paying attention, he knew what he needed to do.

"Whoa," Akko said as he made his way back up.

Looking at him, Diana couldn't help but be a little impressed.

Turning around Jaden walks right up to Cindy and Hannah.

"You know you really shouldn't be so quick to talk down to people because when they prove you wrong it really makes you look stupid," Jaden smirks making both girls turn red with anger.

Seeing this Amanda burst into laughter loving this while Diana just glanced at him.

Once class ended, Jaden walked out with his friends.

"Okay, that was awesome." Amanda laughs.

"How is it you barely paid any attention but you knew how to solve any problem?" Akko asks.

"You girls have magic; I have Math and Science." Jaden shrugs.

"I don't suppose you would be willing to tutor?" Lotte asks.

"Maybe later, I got a lot on my plate right now," Jaden said when they noticed Jaimie holding a big stack of files and struggling to make it down the hall.

"Uh hello! Can someone give me a hand here?!" Jaimie calls out.

"Whoa!" Running over Jaden caught a few files.

"Hey, you okay?" Akko asks as she runs over to help.

"Ugh, thanks. Finnelan gave me way too many papers." Jaimie groaned.

"Where are you taking this?" Jaden asks.

"I'm bringing it to the main office," Jaimie said.

"Oh hang on we'll help you," Akko said.

"Wait we?" Amanda pauses.

"Come on Amanda a few files aren't gonna kill you." Jaden gestures.

"Ugh fine. Let's just get this over with." As each of them grabbed a few files they made their way into the office.

"Hey Marc you in here?" Jaimie calls out.

"Yeah I'm in the back." A male voice calls out.

As they made their way back they heard another voice.

"What are you doing? Drawing attention to yourself? As if you don't have enough trouble." A British voice said.

But when they reached the back they only saw one person. A teenage boy with tan skin, smooth dark hair, a male Luna Nova uniform, and a student worker badge. This was Mark Spector.

"Uh hey, who were you talking to just now?" Amanda asks.

"Uh…myself," Marc said trying to play it casual.

"You talk to yourself?" Lotte tilted her head.

"Sometimes I'm the only one who listens," Marc said.

"Been there, I feel like everyone likes to pretend I'm not even here," Akko said.

"Yeah like me." Sucy smirks.

"Hey Marc, got more files for you to organize," Jaime said as they all put the files down near him.

"Ugh as if things weren't a mess already." Marc groans.

"Wait what exactly do you do?" Akko asks.

"I'm in charge of organizing all the important documents. And let me tell you the real magic behind this school is that it's still running." Marc said.

"How do you manage all this? This seems like a losing battle." Jaimie asks.

"Not easily. The trick is just finding one advantage in this mess and using that to your benefit." Marc said spotting some files that were similar.

Grabbing them, Marc throws them into a file and within minutes he is able to get rid of the entire stack.

"Wow that's amazing," Lotte said.

"When you've been stuck in here for as long as I have you get ideas on how not to lose it," Marc said.

'Find an advantage and use it?' Jaden paused before realizing something. 'Wait what if the reason she didn't use magic in our fight…was because she didn't know any besides her webs?'

Leaving the room, Jaden said goodbye to his friends before running off while Jaimie went to work too leaving Amanda with Akko, Sucy, and Lotte.

"You know girls, I gotta say when I first heard about this student worker thing I thought it would be a bad idea, but yet all of them are not what I expected," Amanda said.

"Yeah with the exception of Pam turning into a villain, the rest are pretty interesting," Akko said.

"Jaden, Barbara, Ned, Nathaniel, Stephen, Luke, Danny, Jaimie, Racheal, Ava, Felica, and Marc. All 12 of them." Lotte lists.

"Hmm, it's not as impressive. They just found ways to make the best of this place." Sucy shrugs.

"Says you. I think they all add a little something extra to this place." Akko said.

Pausing Amanda considered that point of view before leaving.

"Hey, should we have asked Marc if he wanted to hang out with us?" Akko asks.

Looking to the door they heard him talking to himself.

"This is why you have trouble making friends. You're very bad at being open." The British voice said.

"Oh shut up. Like anyone likes you." Marc's voice echoed.

"Uh maybe another time," Lotte said as they all walked away.

As the sun was setting, atop the gateway on the outskirts of the city, Jaden was thinking about the places Night Spider had hit.

'She's been doing this for a while and each one she goes to has more valuables than the last. Since we fought in a high-end department store that means she might be going for something really big.' Jaden thought.

Slowly standing up, Jaden put on his Spider-Man mask.

"Alright Night Spider, this time I'm ready for you," Spider-Man said firing a web and swinging off into the city.

Swinging down the street, a cop spotted him.

"I got eyes on him. He's heading south!" He said into his scanner.

As Spider-Man landed on a rooftop, his spider-sense went off causing him to dodge a shot fired at him forcing him to land down on the ground.

"Freeze!" Looking around Spider-Man saw the police with guns pointed right at him.

"You really thought you would get away from us that easily?" A cop asks.

"Listen I don't have time for this. I have to clear my name. If you guys just give me an hour, I can show you I'm not the Spider you're after." Spider-Man said.

"Don't listen to him. He pulled this same lie last night." Another cop said.

"Seriously don't I have any rights in this situation?" Spider-Man asks.

"You have the right to remain silent." One said but Spider-Man just laughs.

"Me? Be silent? I'll admit that's a good one, but uh yeah no thanks I'm gonna keep talking." Spider-Man chuckles.

"Enough of this!" As one came in with SWAT gear swinging a stun baton Spider-Man dodges.

"Alright as fun as this is. I have someone else who needs my attention more. So get lost!" Swinging a left hook Spider-Man punches the cop sending him banging into his car.

As 3 more came, Spider-Man fires webs yanking one in and throwing him against his friends.

Firing multiple webs, he traps them to their cars.

"Don't worry it'll wear off in a couple of hours. I'll catch the real perp and we can put all this behind us. Sound good? Awesome." Spider-Man said giving them the thumbs up before leaving.

Atop the Art Museum, Night Spider lands to see an exhibit of rare ancient jewelry being set up.

"Hmm perfect." She grins.

Slowly opening the window, she latches a web and lowers herself down.

Dropping onto the floor she made her way into the exhibit and cuts a hole in the exhibit.

"Hmm which one to take first?" She asks.

"How about none of them?" Turning around Night Spider-Man leaning against the wall behind her.

"Spidey, I didn't expect to see you so soon. How'd you know I would be here?" Night Spider asks.

"I asked myself if I were a Spider Burglar interested in stealing where would I go for a big score," Spider-Man said.

"Ooh, so the goodie-goodie hero has a bad side after all. I said it once and I said it before you and I should team up." Night Spider teases.

"Not happening," Spider-Man said.

"Aw come on. I promise I can make it worth your while." Night Spider adds.

"I can't do that. And neither should you. You don't have to be a thief." Spider-Man said.

"What kind of game are you pulling?" Night Spider narrows her eyes.

"You have skills. Really good skills. I know because you gave me quite a fight last night." Spider-Man said.

"Oh well thank you." Night Spider smiles.

"But you can use these powers to be so much more than just a thief. You could use them for good." Spider-Man said.

"Are you asking me to join you?" Night Spider asks.

"All I'm saying is you have the same powers as me. I know what you're capable and I can help you." Spider-Man said.

"You're sweet." Night Spider said turning her back to him. "But it's too late for me. I've been stealing my whole life."

"It's never too late to do the right thing," Spider-Man said.

"Spidey, it's nice that you care about my well-being, but you know the old saying…" Firing a web at a vase, she throws it to Spider-Man who struggles to catch it.

Using this opening, Night Spider nails him in the chest making him tumble back.

"Nice guys always finish last." Night Spider smirks.

Looking up Spider-Man saw the vase flying through the air.

Firing a web, he yanks it back down and places it on the ground.

"That saying is outdated. This nice guy is gonna come on out top today." Spider-Man said.

"We really doing this again?" Night Spider asks.

"You bet," Spider-Man said charging in.

As Night Spider fires webs at him, Spider-Man jumps up and dodges it.

Creating a ball of light, he hurls it at her.

"Magic?!" Night Spider gasps as the ball of light explodes making her cringe in pain.

Using his magic Spider-Man uses wind magic to shoot his web at an incredible speed grabbing her.

Before she could react, Spider-Man hurls her upwards through the skylight causing the alarm to go off.

Landing back on the roof, Night Spider was slowly regaining her eyesight.

"You can use magic? How?" Night Spider said.

"You're not the only one with tricks up their sleeve," Spider-Man said.

Firing two webs, Night Spider launched herself at him but Spider-Man blocked it causing him to skid.

'I need to stall long enough for the cops to get here and see.' Spider-Man thought.

Running to the edge, Night Spider jumped down.

Chasing after her, Spider-Man swings down.

Grabbing onto a flagpole, Night Spider swings around kicking Spider-Man in the chest and causing him to bang against a gargoyle causing the stone near the base to crack.

Landing on an opposite ledge, Night Spider turns around only to see he was gone.

"What in the?" Before she could react her spider sense went off, but before she could respond Spider-Man reappeared behind her.

"Peek-a-boo!" Spider-Man said delivering a kick and knocking her against the wall causing the crack above to grow.

"How were you able to learn magic? I thought that was for girls only." Night Spider said.

"You'd be amazed what you can learn if you get creative," Spider-Man said.

Firing a web upwards that latches onto the gargoyle, Night Spider swings in for an attack but all the strain causes the gargoyle to break and fall towards the ground with Night Spider with it.

Gasping Spider-Man grew his stingers and cut the web before grabbing Night Spider.

"I got you!" Spider-Man said.

Eyes widening Night Spider looks up at the masked man as a bright light shined behind him.

"Y-You saved me?" She said surprised.

"That's what I do," Spider-Man said as they saw police cars pull up. "And now it's your turn to help me."

"Excuse me?" Before Night Spider can react, Spider-Man pulls her up next to him just as Detective Yin and Commissioner Gordon step out.

"What in the?" Gordon said as both spiders looked down at the cops.

"Hey Detective! This is the part where I say I told you so!" Spider-Man calls out.

"Two Spiders?" Ellen said surprised.

"So…Spider-Man was telling the truth. We had the wrong one." Gordon realized making Ellen narrow her eyes.

"You were just stalling." Night Spider realized.

"Yep. I had to make sure the cops saw us both together that way they would know I wasn't behind those thefts." Spider-Man said.

"Clever trick. You sure you don't want to join up with me?" Night Spider asks.

"I'm sure, but if you ever think about joining my side let me know," Spider-Man said.

Night Spider was about to answer when more police cars pulled up.

"Come down with your hands up Spider-Girl!" Gordon calls out.

"It's Night Spider, not Spider-Girl!" She calls out.

"Something tells me you're not going down easy." Spider-Man assumes as she turns to him.

"You would be correct." Night Spider said not noticing her pull something out.

"Well, then I guess this just got complicated," Spider-Man said ready for round 3.

"It doesn't have to be." Walking to the edge, Night Spider turns her head to look at him. "Maybe someday you and I can meet under better circumstances.

Blowing him a kiss, Spider-Man realized what she was about to do.

"No stop!" Spider-Man said as she threw a smoke bomb down and a cloud of smoke erupted around him.

When the smoke cleared Night Spider was long gone.

"Aw man. She got away again." Spider-Man groans.

Looking down at the cops, at least they know which Spider to be on the lookout for. It wasn't the outcome he wanted but at least it was something.

"See ya round coppers!" Firing a web Spider-Man swings out into the city making his escape.

"So now we have two masked people swinging around this city." Ellen narrows her eyes.

"Yeah, but the question is how long until more show up?" Gordon asks.

Little did he know, at his own house, we see Barbara with various clothes lying on her bed and a sketchpad in her hand.

"Hmm, I need something to make it work. Spider-Man has his thing, I need something that works for me." Barbara said crumbling a piece of paper.

Tossing it into a trashcan she leans back when she remembers seeing all those bats.

"Hmm, bats do scare a lot of people. I bet even criminals would be startled by a bat." Barbara pauses.

Sitting up she got to work on something before placing it on a light purple shirt. Stepping back we see Barbara's symbol was a gold bat logo.

"Now all that's left is gear and a costume." Barbara grins.

At an unknown location, we see Night Spider climb into a bedroom.

"He could have let me fall but instead he saved me." Reaching up, Night Spider took off her mask revealing her to be Felicia.

"Spider-Man you are something else. Maybe someday I'll find out who's behind that mask. I think I'd like to meet that man." Felicia smiles.

Putting her mask down, Felicia laid in her bed.

'It's never too late to do the right thing.' Spider-Man's words rang in her head.

Smiling softly, she liked that he believed in her that much. Reaching into her pocket we see she pulled out a ruby-encrusted bracelet revealing she was only able to take one piece before Spider-Man stopped her.

"Maybe someday, but not today." Felicia smiles.

Spider-Man managed to clear his name, but this wasn't the last he would see of Night Spider.

And now as a special treat. I give you the official opening for Spider Among Witches. I wanted to wait until you got the final details in this chapter before I released it. Enjoy.

(There's always a lotta people that you need to see But you got a quick way to get from A to B Just be careful of who's aware of your reality You know what I mean!) Down the hall, we see Felicia trying to swipe Nathaniel's wallet when Talia, Iris and Auriana glare at her but Felicia whistles faking innocence. Suddenly Amanda shoots past them on her broom while Ava and Marc were trying to write her up. Shooting past them we see Luke hanging out with Danny and Jaime. For brief moments we see a white and black mask appear on Felicia's face, Talia's hair change to white and black, Auriana's hair turn to red and orange, Iris' hair change to white and pink, a half of a white cat mask appeared on Ava's face, a white hood and mask appeared over Marc, a green and blue mask appeared over Amanda's eyes, a yellow bandanna appeared on Danny's head, black shades on Luke and blue and black metallic mask appeared on Jaimie.

(There's a whole other world that you only know When you can make yourself invisible from head to toe But understand, it's not the status quo Oh, careful what you show!) Coming out of her office, Finnelan and Badcock were yelling down the hall as we zoom past the library where Racheal and Stephen were reading books and Jasminka was eating snacks. And for a brief moment, a red cape appeared around Stephen's neck and a dark blue cloak appeared on Racheal.

(Everything is not what it seems When you can get all you wanted in your wildest dreams You might run into trouble if you go to extremes Because everything is not what it seems) Next we find ourselves in the Alchemy classroom, as Jaden was helping Otto as Ned and Constanze were hard at work building something and Otto had a look of pride and joy when Holbrooke pops her head in and ordered the students to leave. As they walk out we briefly see 4 long arm shadows appear behind Otto as an angry and annoyed look was on his face.

(Everything is not what it seems When you can have what you want by the simplest of means Be careful not to mess with the balance of things Because everything is not…) As all the students gather together in the main hall and take their seats Ursula walks into the room when part of her hair briefly turns red before returning to normal. (What it seems) She winks before putting a finger to her lips telling you to keep quiet and closing the door.

(Song End)
