Season 2: Episode 17

Once more in school and preparing to deal with the cruel treatment she was no coming to expect regarding the illicit pictures, Hanna sighed as she approached her locker and began pulling her books for class out. She closed her locker and jumped, gasping.

"Don't do that." She complained.

Caleb Rivers shook his head. "Sorry, I just...I've got news, somewhere we can talk in private?"

Hanna was instantly on guard with that but nodded and followed him into a nearby classroom and closed the door behind her.

"Is this, this is about the photos, right?" Hanna said. "You've found something?"

Caleb nodded. "Yeah, I...I have to admit, I'm shocked myself about this, I never thought he'd be the type of person to do this."

"Then you know who it is?"

"Yeah, that's the worst part of it, he's in your class." Caleb explained. "Does the name Lucas Gottesman mean anything to you?"

Hanna tensed. "Lucas, what, but that's...he wouldn't-?"

"I can't believe it myself but, well, see for yourself." Caleb replied.

He handed her the phone he was carrying and she checked it, it showed the photos of her, as well as data Caleb had found about the photos which indeed showed a connection, after some checks, towards Lucas.

"My God, how could...why would he…?" Hanna gasped.

Caleb shook his head. "I'm sorry. You knew him?"

"Kinda, not as well as I thought apparently." Hanna replied. "We were friends before, before I changed. But…"

Caleb thought for a moment and sighed. "Look, you know there's only one way to resolve all this?"

"I know, but...there's something I want to know, I need to, I need to confront him." Hanna explained.

"If you're sure."

Hanna nodded in confirmation.

Some time later in the day, Lucas was simply heading towards a classroom, confused by the note he had received. Sure enough, as he reached it he saw Caleb Rivers standing outside.

"What's this all about?"

Caleb reached back and opened the door. "We need to talk, seriously talk, in here."

Lucas narrowed his eyes, but shrugged and then entered, stopping in shock when he saw Hanna sitting at one of the desks, glaring at him, then Caleb slipped in after him and closed the door behind him.

"Hanna, what?"

"Don't you dare lie, Lucas." She spat as she stood and slapped something down on the desk. "I know this was you, Caleb showed me everything."

Lucas glared when he saw the photos, then at Hanna.

"Oh really, well, big surprise." Lucas taunted. "You just act so stuck up, a stupid vain bitch who forgot who she was!"

"Excuse me!"

Lucas glared over his shoulder at Caleb.

He then turned back to Hanna. "So what's the deal with Rivers, this is his work huh, spread your legs for him to do all this, not wanting the truth to get out."

"You might want to watch your language, Gottesman." Caleb snapped. "You're not making any sense here, there's no reason for you to do this."

Lucas snarled. "There's every reason, look at you, you were fine before, you were nice before, now you've turned against me, we were friends but you abandoned me and did all this to yourself, all so you could join other stuck up bitches and-"

"Friends, we were acquaintances, that's it, all I ever said was a simple hello to you, once." Hanna burst out. "Even if that was the case I never turned against you, this change from my former self to this had nothing to do with you, I did that for me."

Lucas then burst out. "You should've had some consideration for-"

"For what, what business is it of yours, this was for me and you had no right to do this, you had no justification for doing this." Hanna snapped. "I lost weight, improved myself, for ME. If you don't get that, or like that, that's not my problem, but that doesn't give you the right to do this to me."

"You...I don't have to listen to this!" Lucas snapped.

Clearly unable to respect her, he turned and stormed out of the room, pushing past Caleb. Caleb looked at her and shrugged.

"Well, I guess he's just going to have to suffer for his selfishness."

Hanna nodded in agreement, what they hadn't told Lucas was they'd already taken steps and reported him.

That evening, Aria bit her lip as she looked up from her dinner, Mike sat opposite her, eating rather quickly. Byron who was in the middle of his two children, at the upper part of the table, had noticed this too and quirked an eyebrow.

"Mike, you should slow down." He remarked.

Mike shook his head. "Can't dad, I've gotta hurry, I've gotta go after I'm done."

That caught both Byron and Aria's attention and Aria began to feel anxious.

"Go, go where?"

"I've gotta meet up with Noel." Was all Mike said.

"Noel, Noel Kahn?" Byron remarked. "What are you doing going to meet up with him, I didn't think-"

Mike shook his head. "What does it matter, it's my business."

With that he finished and quickly got up and made his way out. Silence reigned between them and finally, Byron turned and looked at Aria.

"Aria what on...since when does Mike hang out with Noel Kahn?" He asked.

Aria shook his head. "I...have no idea, I'm actually kinda worried about it."

Byron sighed. "Me too, me too."

They both sat in silence, unsure and worried now as to what on earth Mike could be up to.

Sitting at the kitchen table at home, working on her laptop, Spencer looked up and watched Ian and Melissa chatting happily together.

'They're dating, that's obvious, I don't see why I...urgh, I just can't understand it.' She thought anxiously. 'I know they're dating but, Ian's been around here just so...much, it's strange.'

Finally she had a chance to make sense of it as Ian left the room while Melissa entered and approached the fridge.

"Ian's around quite a lot now." Spencer remarked, doing her best to sound casual.

Melissa turned to look at her and shrugged. "Well, yeah...I guess we should say something sooner rather than later. We're engaged now."

"Engaged?"

Melissa just nodded, grinning before leaving the room, leaving Spencer sitting there, startled, eyes wide. She was actually shocked at how quickly Melissa and Ian were moving in this relationship. It also left her a little worried.
