Chapter 29: New place, New faces, Same problems.
Opening my eyes, I turned my head to the side and saw my luggage, my weapon, and my backpack next to my desk. All ready and pack for me to go.
"Today is the day. I leave for Vale."
To think that in just one day I will be entering Beacon Academy and participating in this year's initiation. It's been a long road for me, with many ups and downs. Many people I have met and places I have seen. But Now it has all paid off in the end.
Soon my journey will begin a new chapter.
Getting up from my bed, I head towards my door and head straight for the bathroom. Once inside, I just look at myself in the mirror.
'Damn, to think all that training really paid off.'
Seth Sapphire, seventeen years old, was born in Mantle and raised in Argus. About to head to Vale to attend Beacon Academy with one of his closes friends. And yet he felt like his whole stomach was about to do flips. Standing at a wapping 5'9 and eyes that could make anyone believe he was blind. Is soon about to leave his home.
Splashing water on my face and brushing my teeth. I begin to reminisce about what has happened in the last two months that led up to this point.
Well after returning home and telling Mom all that had happened to me in Mistral to say she was upset was an understatement. Was she upset with me? Nope, she was upset with the headmaster, the drunk, and the group that we fought. But she was also thankful to Granny Lee who helped me in my time of need. She wanted to go and visit her someday to thank her in person but that will be at a later time. However, she was not happy with how I got her approval, Fighting Arslan and going broke in Mistral was something that she was not expecting but she was thankful that I had friends there to help me out.
I was only grounded for a week.
I even told her that I made a good discovery on how my semblance worked, it was surprising for her to hear that I was able to learn about it since I haven't even tried to work on it since I unlocked it. But hearing how I was able to use it and how I triggered it. She had to see it in action. So she took me to our training ground and saw firsthand how it worked.
Flashback two months ago
"Okay, sweet heart let's see how you do it?" She stood behind me and waited for me to begin.
"Right!" I turn around and stare at a tree off in the distance.
I closed my eyes and thought of a song. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes.
"Come on Barbie, let's go party"

"What?" I heard Mom question behind me.
But I felt the wind around me pick up and then with a kick I was able to send a gust of wind in the direction of where the tree was.
"Imagination, life is your creation"
As I continued to sing I felt my whole body become covered in wind, so I threw a punch toward the tree and sent out an Air slash like how Mom did.
'Huh, So the more I sing the more my body starts to be covered with wind. Same as last time. But at least I know I don't need my music to make my Semblance work. But there has to be a drawback somewhere.'
I turn to see my Mom reaction only to see her with her mouth covered and trying her best to not laugh at what she just saw.
"I... I think...pfft... I think you found your own style, sweet heart. But do you really got to sing?"
I looked away embarrassed by that, yeah in a way it is funny.
"I mean from what I learn, I can also think about it and that works as well. Also, I did it without music this time, So I just wanted to test it out. But now I know that I don't need my songs to use my Semblance."
She just stared at me, but I could tell she was thinking of an explanation of how this was possible. "You know, I think this is the first time I don't know what to think. But seeing that you at least know how your Semblance works. All I can say is that I'm proud of you Seth."
"Thanks Mom." I smile at that.
"So... How about we practice a little and see how far you can take this Semblance of yours."
"Really? Now."
"No better time like the present. You only have less than two months now and you only know one technique. Maybe you might also learn more with my help."
"You mean like how you use it to lift people and move fast?"
"With some others as well. But we will have to see just how far you can take this Semblance of yours. Maybe it can evolve into something else. Only time will tell. So let us begin."
I nod my head and begin our training to work on my Semblance.

That was the day, I learned that I was way outclass to face my Mom when she fights with her Semblance but I did learn a lot from her. In the short days that we trained, she told me her techniques and how she uses each one, but since I was still learning how to better control it I started with simple Air slashes. Still, I guess I will have to learn more on my own since I will be leaving soon.
Well, that's fine. This is what school is for. I put on my jacket and tie my scarf around my body. (Same as the cover art.) I grabbed my luggage and backpack, placed my weapon around my waist, and was about to walk out but stopped and looked at my closet door.
'I nearly forgot about that.' Putting my luggage down I walked toward it and opened the door, I moved a box that revealed my notebook that had all of the songs that I had. "Nearly forgot you, you are coming with me as well.' I open my jacket a little, slip it inside one of my pockets, and tap it to secure it.
"Alright let's go."
Walking toward the living room I see Mom just sitting on the sofa with her back toward me. Walking behind her I see her flipping threw a book with pictures of me when I was young.
"To think... That my own child will be leaving soon and leaving his poor mother alone. For shame." She wipe some fake tears away and looked at me.
"Mom you had me for seventeen years, I think you will be fine for the next four. I mean I will still visit on breaks, I might even bring my team if I get along with them."
"Or you can bring someone special~!" She teases me.
I roll my eyes at that. In hindsight, I probably should have not told her everything that had happened to me in Mistral, because now she really wants to meet Arslan.
"Right, so I'm just about ready to go, and lucky the airship to Vale leaves in about two hours." I checked my scroll and saw that it was ten in the morning. Around twelve it will depart and head to Vale. "So we can do last-minute preparations or we can go eat."
"Way ahead of you, I know it's still early but I was able to order something, that way you won't get too hungry on your way to Vale. It should be here in a few minutes but before then just relax and try not to panic once the doorbell rings." She gave me a serious look.
"That was one time Mom! It won't happen again!"
Flashback Two Weeks Ago!
I was entering the bathroom, about to take a shower. I had everything ready and was about to strip.
But then, My music started to play on its own.
I dropped everything in my hand and looked all around me.
'Where will it strike!' I kept looking around and saw nothing.
Soon the calm melody was replaced with techno music.
And that really got me to panic.
It felt like the song was talking which sounds weird when you think about it but knowing what could happen next only got me to worry and seeing that this was my house... I leave the bathroom and head towards my room to get my weapon.
Intruder, identify yourself
"Wait! What?!"
I then heard the doorbell ring and rush outside my room seeing my Mom about to open the door.
"Mom! Wait!" I run toward her and as the door opens, it reveals two people outside.
One was a young woman with dirty blond hair and blue eyes who had a look of shock getting in front of another young woman with short dark brown hair and eyes, and who looked very pregnant.
Once they saw the door open they were not expecting this reaction from the people who live at this house. And with me pointing a weapon at them I already made a bad first impression on them.

Sadly I didn't hear the rest of the song, because Mom knocked me out for what I was doing.
And I didn't blame her for it.
After that, I sincerely apologized to both of them and did everything in my power to make it up to them. Eventually, they did, but it took a lot of work and lots of me helping them move into their new place.
Huh, what a way to welcome them to the neighborhood.

Mom was not happy after that. But after hearing my reasoning she at least understood why I was panicking. But still, for it to be the first time that nothing happened when a song just started to play by itself. I guess I got a lucky break.
"Is something on your mind?"
"Nah, just thinking." I see her enter with food in her hands. "Nice let's eat."
"You have everything right? Clothes? Ammo? Your letter? Everything right?"
"Yes Mom, I have everything. You don't need to worry."
"What about your-"
I cut her off. "Mom. I got my luggage, my backpack, and my weapon. My jacket and the scarf you gave me. My sunglasses and the extra things you put in my bag when I wasn't looking." I see her look away embarrassed.
"That was a little surprise for you... I'm sorry, I'm just a little nervous for you."
"I mean I did alright when I left for Mistral for a week, just think of it as a long trip for me."
"I know."
I looked around and saw a few people around us. We were in an open airfield that takes people away to different parts of the world. Here I could see a few familiar faces that I'd seen in school. Thankfully they ignore me.
"Sweet heart." I looked back at my Mom and could tell she was trying her best not to cry. " You promised to call right? And video chat me right?"
I smile at her and remove my sunglasses so she can see my face clearly. "I promise Mom, I will."
She leans in and hugs me tightly. I wrap my arms around her and hug her back. I could hear her beginning to sob a little, so I leaned in a whisper to her. " Thank you, Mom, for doing so much for me."
I feel her shake her head and tells me. "No, Thank you for being in my life. My little Sapphire." Felt like forever that we hugged, but soon she began to loosen her grip and began to take a step back seeing that I started to have tears in my eyes as well. She wipes them away and finally tells me. " Well then, I guess this is goodbye."
"For now. But like I said, I'll visit."
"Hmm." She nods at that.
"The airship to Vale leaves in Five minutes!" The PA system called out informing us it was time to go.
"Well then, I guess it's my time."
"It sure is Sweet heart. One more thing before you go." I see her compose herself. "My mother told me this when I left, so here it is for you. 'The people you meet will help you grow as a person, but the people that you put your trust in, are the ones who will steer you in the right direction. So may the wind bless you in your travels.' And this is my own part now. No matter what you do, just follow your heart, It will never lie to you." She finishes talking and places her hand over my heart.
I nod at her and put my sunglasses on. I grab my luggage and begin to walk in the direction of the airship. I turn back at her and wave goodbye, she waves as well, and soon I enter the airship.
Once inside I placed my luggage down and took a seat.
'This is it. Next stop, Vale and soon Beacon Academy. To think this was happening. Nothing can go wrong."
"Hey, two people outside look like they're about to fight!" One person said as he was entering the airship. Soon a bunch of people stare outside their windows looking out.

'Gods damn it, Mom!' I got up from my seat and ran outside the airship.
The ride to Vale was Four hours, and during those four hours, they felt like the longest anyone had to wait. Like for real, just sitting there was already becoming a pain that people were beginning to stand up and walk around the airship.
I started to feel that during the first hour, but I did have someone to pass the time through.
"So what are your plans once we land?" I asked.
"I was thinking of just walking around and getting familiar with Vale. We will be staying here for the next four years, so I guess that will be my plan for now. You?"
"Same as you I guess, I need to find a store to buy some dust for tomorrow. Once I'm done I'll take my time and explore a bit."
"Maybe we can go together?"
"Sure, sounds like a plan."
A simple plan, but it will help in the long run. This is a new place we will be exploring, just think of all the new shops, new hit places, and all the things we will see. But first, we will have to find a place to stay for the night. Tomorrow we will head to Beacon. But for now, it's still a free day.
"Seth, Look Vale is just around the horizon." Pyrrha told me while pointing out the window.
Looking out I was excited to see what Vale would look like and to my surprise.

All I felt was dread and fear.
As I sat back down in my seat I began to put a hand on my head, soon I felt a sharp pain coursing through my head.
Closing my eyes. I began to picture Vale in ruins, Grimm on the streets and in the skies. Buildings are destroyed and off in the distance, a huge Grimm is on top of a tower. I see people getting attacked by Grimm and what looks to be robots. People were in the streets panicking all around and Huntsman fighting for their lives.
And soon...
Black.
"Is he okay?" "He just fell down." "Is he having a panic attack?"
"Seth!"
Opening my eyes I see Pyrrha over me with worry in her face.
'Why am I on the ground? What happened?'
Sitting upright I looked around and saw a bunch of people looking at me and whispering among themselves. I turn to face Pyrrha. "What happened?"
"You just sat down and when I tried to call you, you looked like you were breathing heavily. Then you fell to the ground. Are you okay?"
I put a hand on my head, "Yeah, sorry. It's just a little headache."
"I think this is more than just a little headache Seth. Do you need something?"
'I need people to stop looking at me for a start.'
"No, I'm fine."
"Ladies and Gentlemen we will be landing soon Please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts." The PA announced and everyone who was looking at me started to head back to their seats.
I get up and sit down in my seat. I look out the window and see Vale once more.

...
'What was all of that?'
If Mistral was a bad feeling for me. Vale was already a dreaded feeling. Once the airship landed and everyone started to leave. I just stayed back, gathering all of my stuff and waiting for the last person to get off. Sadly the last person right now was Pyrrha and by the looks of it she was waiting for me.
"You don't have to wait for me. I'm just getting my composure in check."
She just looks at me and begins to smile. " And what type of friend will I be, if I let you wallow in your own pain?"

...
I look at her and smile. "A good friend."
"You know you can tell me right? I won't judge."
"I know, if anything I'm just trying to grasp on what actually happened. I was fine right before and then... I panic."
"It could be that you are scared. I mean we are in a new place and we will be going to Beacon tomorrow. In truth, I'm also scared for tomorrow as well, but seeing that I have you here also, I have nothing to fear at all."
Ha, Pyrrha being scared for tomorrow. Sure, if anything she should be the least scared out of us. But hearing her say that really put me at ease.
Sigh..."Yea, your right Pyrrha. I have nothing else to fear now that we are here." I move next to her and bring her close. Pointing forward with my hand. "So let us take a step into the future and see where this new adventure takes us." I said while trying to build my confidence back.
Pyrrha rolls her eyes and mimics my enthusiasm. "Yes! To Victory!" She cheered as well following my example.
I let go of her and began to pick up my stuff. Once all was gathered I began to follow her out of the airship. However, she stops at the door.
"What's wrong?"
"Just have a look." She points outside.
I look and see a lot of people with cameras. "Oh... That's why." I pull out my scroll and see a new headline. "This might explain it." I show her my scroll and she sees it.
'The Invincible girl is heading to Vale! Top news of Mistral!'

...
Sigh..." I was hoping not to get this once I landed."
"Yeah, but thank our mothers for having that fight back in Argus. I got the feeling once they saw you there, they put two-and-two together and spread the news fast."
Honestly, we were only gone for four hours! The media is scary.
"Well. I guess it's time."
" Yep. Time to face the music... But don't worry, I'll flip them off for you."
"Seth No!"
"Seth Yes!"
We both leave the airship and head down toward the people.

The headaches didn't stop once we reached a place to stay in. They didn't stop once I was in my room. Nor stopped when we started to explore Vale. If anything it was just there, sometimes I felt a sharp pain, and other times it was just there lingering over me. I did my best to ignore it, but trying to act like I was having a good time was now becoming more like a goal rather than pretending.
As we continue to walk we pass through many locations and stores. The most notable one was a place where they sell dust, got a major headache there. A bookstore, and felt pain there as well. And a huge opening in the center of the city, I nearly passed out again. If it wasn't for Pyrrha's help I would have hit my head on something by now.
And here we are now. Sitting in a cafe drinking and just sitting in silence.
"..."
"..."
'I need to apologize to her for today. It feels like I haven't been having a good time, while she's been doing all of the talking.'
"I'm sorry Pyrrha. I feel like today has not been a good day at all."
"No it's fine Seth don't worry. We all have those bad days, I'm sure we will all feel better tomorrow once we head to Beacon."
She tried to assure me, but all it did was make me feel even worse.
'This day started off great and all, but now it's gone to hell fast. All because of these headaches. Man, I remember back in Mistral the first time it wasn't as bad back then, but now.' I remove my sunglasses to set them down on the table and begin to rub my face with annoyance.
"Seth, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Why did you bring your weapon?" I look at her and look down to my side where my weapon was placed.
"Well, if you have been in the situations that I have been a part of. I think you will also carry it just in case."
"I mean sure but-"
"Pyrrha I have been shot at, held at gun point, and put a sword around my neck in Mantle. Got into a brawl back in Mistral and had Grimm attack us. So I'm sorry if I'm just getting prepared for when shit goes down."
"Right..."
Sigh..."If anything, I'm just getting ready if something does go down here. We are in a new place, so anything can happen. So I would rather be a little bit cautious if it does happen. Also, Mom warned me as well. I'm surprised you didn't bring yours."
"Well... I figure if you were... You know it's getting late we should probably start heading back now." She begins to stand up.
I turned to face the window and saw that the sun was already gone and the night was now upon us. Damn, there goes the day already, I guess we really did explore some of Vale. Oh well, there is always next time.
"Alright, let's go then." I stand up, put my sunglasses on, and put my weapon on my back.
We soon began to leave the cafe. During our walk back, I started to feel a little better now. My headaches weren't that bothersome anymore. I started to talk more now as we continued to walk.
"So, you excited for tomorrow? We finally get to see Beacon."
"I am, I'm sure tomorrow will be an exciting day. I wonder how many new people we will meet and see. So exciting."
"Yep! Now everything will be fine for-"
VROOM!
The sound of a bike revving its engine got our attention and flew right past us. I only got a small glimpse of the person on the bike. Long Yellow hair.
Tsk..."Sunday drivers."
"Hopefully that person stays out of trouble." Pyrrha said also seeing the biker drive off fast.
"Meh, I doubt it. Anyway, let's keep going." I said placing a hand on my head.
As we continued to walk we were now getting close to the hotel we were staying at. Finally, I will get some good sleep and hopefully by tomorrow these headaches will be gone.
But as we passed a street we heard people screaming and saw a lot of people running out of a building.
I turned to Pyrrha and looked at her. "So I would like an apology for why I brought my weapon again." I see her roll her eyes and we both rush to the building.
Pushing our way through we enter, inside it was a nightclub. And in the middle of the dance floor, we saw a group of people in black suits surrounding a girl with blonde hair.
'That girl... Where have I-'
ACK!
I grabbed my head and felt more pain.
'Fuck not now. Please not now.'
And to make matters even worse for me. A song started to play.
That must have gotten the people's attention because. "You two get out of here or else you two will be next." We heard someone yell at us from the dance floor.
"Seth, we need to do something to help." I heard Pyrrha tell me.
"That girl got herself into this mess, I'm sure she can figure it out." I said while holding my head.

The group on the dance floor began to run at the blonde. As they got close the girl jumped in the air and activated something on her arms, slamming onto the ground creating a shock wave that spread the people in suits away from her.
"See what I tell you." I stopped holding my head and started to watch the fight.

The girl went on the attack. Knocking out more of the people in suits. Attacking and countering any attack she was met with.
"She's good." I hear Pyrrha say next to me.

Soon more people in suits entered the dance floor and began to attack the girl. But the girl was able to hold them off flawlessly. But out in the corner, I could see a tall person begin to run to the door where the group entered from.
'Was that the boss?'
I turn back to see the girl send some poor sucker through a pillar of glass.

With each person that gets close to her, she counters the attack and strikes the person, then moves on to the next. But soon the DJ of the place pulls out a gun and begins to shoot at her.

We see the girl dodge the bullets and once she is close. She launched herself up to him with something that was on her arms.
"Must be her weapon."
"She fights hand to hand, well that's nice to know."
"We should help her."
"She is doing quite fine on her own Pyrrha."

We then see her attack the DJ slamming his head at the equipment and launching the poor guy away with a blast. Making him slide toward two new people.
It doesn't have to be this way

The two new people looked like twins, one was wearing red and the other was wearing white. They seem to be talking to each other.

I get what I want, so don't bother and just watch me burn
We turn back to the blonde girl and see her reload her weapon.
"Shotgun shells? They must pack one hell of a punch."
"Was that a pun?"
"No." I looked at her and turned back just to see her jump off the DJ booth and send attacks to the twins.
But the twins easily flip away from them and begin to run at her as a team. We see them work together and begin to get an advantage on the blonde girl.
"Seth they know how to fight. We should really help her out now." I can hear the anticipation of her voice.
"Pyrrha she handled the rest of the group just fine. I'm sure she can-"
We see the blonde get sent back into a pillar crashing into it.

Pyrrha just looked at me and said. "Is it because they have green eyes that you don't want to-"
"Okay! Let's go help her out!" I jump off the railing and took shots at the twins making them back away. With that, we rush toward the down blonde.
"Great more unwanted guests." The girl in red said.
"That's so lame." The one in white now said.
"You two. I could handle them by myself." We heard the blonde girl say behind us.
"To be fair I wanted to watch. But my friend here really wanted to help out. So blame it on her." I said while pointing my finger at Pyrrha.
"There is no need for that, we are only here to help out."
I roll my eyes at that, and face the twins, taking out Saltatio Favillae off my back. I press the button on the grip and split them apart. Soon I handed Saltatio to Pyrrha. In which she looks at me surprised.
"We both know why. Just hand it back once we are done here. Okay?"
She looks at the sword and back at me and nods her head.
"I will." She turns her face back at the twins and we both rush them.

As we got closer to them I yelled out to Pyrrha. "Got white!"
"Roger!" After that, we crossed paths making them both confused about who we were going for.
Pyrrha took advantage of the sword range and started to swing it while the red twin all she did was blocked and backed away from the strikes.
I on the other hand flipped Favillae and began to shoot the white twin, making her backflip each shot and keeping her distance from me.

Seeing as she continued to back away, I decided to rush her but once she saw me getting close to her she began to send kicks my way. As each kick made contact with Favillea, I realized that there was a spark with each kick, so I looked down and saw her shoes had blades. She then began her approach toward me making me back away from her kicks.
On the other side with Pyrrha, she had the twin in red where she wanted her. The twin did her best to send attacks with her claws, but Pyrrha was able to use Saltaio to her advantage and block all attacks she sent, but soon Pyrrha parried one swipe and sent a strong kick to the girl's stomach sending her back toward another glass pillar.
Gasoline, kerosene
Strike a match, ignite the scene

As the white twin began to approach me she began with fast kicks that I was able to block with Favillae. Seeing that it wasn't working she changed her strategy and began to send fake out kicks trying to catch me by surprise. She sent high kicks, axe kicks, and kicks toward my lower body, but each attempt failed and all it took was one mistake for her to lose. She went for a spin kick that I was able to duck under and sent a strong strike with Favillae toward her stomach. She soon lost her balance and I reached for her hand making her spin and hitting her in the face with my weapon. Sending her to the ground.
Beg for mercy, it won't help

"Well, they are done."
I turned around and saw Pyrrha helping the blonde up, so I ran toward them.
"You two alright?"
"Like I said before. I could have taken them with no problem." The blonde said.
"And like I said before, blame her." I pointed a Pyrrha.
"Sorry."
"HEY!"
I turned around and saw the big guy from earlier come back with a rocket launcher around his shoulder.
"You three are gonna pay for this." He pointed the launcher at us and pulled the trigger.
Soon rockets came at us and we all dodged them.
I flip back with the blonde and Pyrrha rolls to the side.
I Aimed Favillae toward him and saw the blonde aim her weapon as well.

We both took shots at the rockets making them explode before they hit us and when they stopped, the tall guy came out of the smoke and began to attack us.

I rolled out of the way right before his attack hit me. But for the blonde, I saw her block a few of his strikes and also take some hits as well, with the last hit sending her back toward some glass.
'Why is she getting hit? She is gonna get hurt?'
I aim Favillae and shoot, but I only heard a click.
'Shit out of ammo!'
I looked back up and was about to help out but I felt someone stop me, turning around I saw Pyrrha stop me and point at the girl.
There we saw her stand up and hit her fists together making her go up in flames and her eyes turn red.

She then began to run at the man, while the man tried to blast her with his weapon. The blonde dodged every rocket coming her way, and as she got close the man then transformed his weapon into a bat and swung at the girl. But with each swing, there was a miss and soon the girl started to attack back sending punch after punch at the man and soon breaking his weapon and sending him back.

As the man got back up he only saw his weapon destroy on one hand and something yellow on the other hand.
Seeing this the blonde soon ran at the man with anger on her face and punched the guy so hard that it sent him out of the building we were in.

We both see the blonde go after the guy and jump out the window.
"Pyrrha."
"Yes, Seth?"

"I will try my best as well. Should we follow her?"
I looked around and saw the place destroyed and in ruins. The people who were knocked out were starting to get up and look around as well.
"Nope! We should leave as well." I grab Pyrrha's hand and drag her out to an emergency exit of the building, making our escape.
"Shouldn't we stay and talk to the police?"
"That a group of kids went inside and trashed the place? Yeah, not the best idea right now. This will be our little secret." I told her as we continued to run into the night of Vale.
After a few minutes of running, we finally stopped to catch our breath and looked at each other.
Then I began to laugh.
"What is so funny?" Pyrrha asked confused.
"I think... haha, I think this was the first time you dragged me into trouble. I can't believe you." I tell her as I continue to laugh.
Looking at her now I can see her face becoming a shade of red out of embarrassment. "That's not true! I didn't... We didn't... I."
"You wanted to help out and we got involved."
"That was not my intention from the start I just wanted to help her out."
"She was doing quite fine on her own to be fair. But at least we did something good today."
"Still though. Who do you think she was?"
"No idea. But if I was a betting man. I feel like we will see her soon."
"You think we will see her tomorrow at Beacon?"
"Could be, or unless she is one of those people who just like to get into fights with everyone she sees. We will find out tomorrow." I pull out my scroll and check the time. It was already ten.
"We should get back and get some rest now. Tomorrow is the big day. We are going to need the rest."
"Right, let's go then. By the way here Seth." She hands me Saltatio back to me and I put it back together with my weapon.
"So how did it feel?"
"Light, but it does its job. I can see why you put your time into it."
"Yep, these two together have really made me get this far and now we will soon prove it to all." I placed my weapon on my back and we began to make our way back to the hotel we were staying at.
Once we made it, we both said our goodnights and went to our respective rooms. Once I enter my room I jump into bed and relax my body.
Sigh...' Finally, peace and quiet. Today was the most eventful first day in Vale. I'm sure I will get many more but for now. I just need to prepare for tomorrow. The first step of a long and trivial task at hand.' With that out of my mind, I began to close my eyes and let the dreams take me.

I open my eyes again after hearing that explosion.

I turn away from the window and close them again.
'Vale sure is an eventful place. But I'm sure it will calm down by tomorrow. And hopefully, I won't get any more headaches tomorrow.'

'I should really learn when to shut the fuck up.'
I was sitting down on the airship going to Beacon Academy and looking around the airship I was in, I saw characters of all shapes and sizes. But the ones who were more memorable were A girl with Orange hair running around the airship. With some guy with black hair and pink tips chasing after the orange-haired girl trying to calm her down. And they were off in the corner of the airship.
Then we got some guy with a nice mohawk standing next to another guy with orange hair who was flexing his muscles at any girl that passed his way. They were off to the side of the airship.
Then we got the blonde girl, who was hugging some young girl to death. By the looks of it, the young one is trying her best not to die of either the hug or embarrassment. They were right close to me but thanks to all of these people they hadn't seen me just yet.
Off to the other side of the airship standing far away from everyone, was a girl with white hair who was on her scroll and typing furiously at it. By the looks of it, she was really upset for some reason. Best to avoid that.
Sitting close to me to my left I saw a girl with black hair reading a book trying to ignore everything that was happening around her. Gods I wish I had that ability that she has.
And to top it all off running right past me was a guy with blonde hair ready to throw out his lunch, it almost got me to run with him. I put a hand on my mouth trying to ignore him. But the sounds he was making were making it difficult.
So yeah, that's what's going on right now.
Oh, I almost forgot the most important thing of them all.
My head was hurting like a bitch right now!

"Okay, Seth! These are going to be the most important things you must know before you head to Beacon Academy. Since I already experienced all of this! I have made a guide that will help you survive these next four years. So, pay close attention, Sweet heart."
I just nodded my head and took notes of this.
Mom really wanted me to be prepared for once I was gone. Apparently, these tips helped her out when she went to Haven, so I rather heard them out just in case.
"Okay! Tip number one: Learn to cook! Trust me if the lunches they serve are the same as Haven, then you are going to be skipping meals for a while. So learn to cook. My team had to learn this the hard way."
Okay, that is actually a good tip for me, I do know a few things so I can always learn more. I write this down.
"Okay! Tip number two: The teachers will help you! Teachers are cool so they will try their best to help you in any way. So never feel intimidated by them." I nod my head and write that down.
"Tip number three: Respect your teammate's boundaries! You will be staying with them for the next four years. So always be respectful to them. Especially if they are girls. Always knock before entering and never sneak a peek at them. They will make your life a nightmare. You got that!" Mom looks at me with serious eyes and I just nod my head.
"Good now on the subject of girls!"
"Please no!"
"It's important! Tip number four: Dating!"
'Noooooooooooooooooo!'
"Just follow your heart, Seth. it will never be wrong." She smiles at me.

'Oh, well that wasn't too bad.'
"But just remember, if you get someone pregnant, I expect you to take responsibility for your actions!"
"MOM!" I yell with an embarrassed face.
"Moving on! Tip number five! Be prepared for anything once you leave for Vale! You saw it in Mistral with the Spiders. So always have your weapon on you at all times. You will never know when you will need it." She was dead serious about that. That I just nodded my head in agreement.
"I'm serious Seth, never let your guard down, because someone always wants someone dead."
"You sound like you have experience with this Mom."
"I knew someone back then, Freesia's boyfriend. He always got into trouble with the spiders. But she always got him out of it." She shows a sad smile.
"What happened to him?"
"Don't know, after her death, he just left. Never saw him again. He might be dead or somewhere else. Hmm, That fool."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. Just promise me that you will take care of yourself, Seth."
"I will Mom. I promise."
A/N: So why change it? Plot and right now I am planting seeds for the future. Will they make sense in the long run? Maybe but I will try my best and hopefully this doesn't blow up in my face later.
