(This episode takes place just after the previous episode)
The scene starts with Blackfire and Gine's spaceship coming down to the located Planet.
By that time, Blackfire comes to the blue hero's prison to check his state, but she doesn't open the door. It seems he is sitting without saying any word.
"It seems you have become a good boy now, Robin. Just calm and collected in this small room. Hahaha" - Blackfire speaks.
Nightwing just keeps looking at her without a word. His face seems quite normal though, not angry.
"You seem to have accepted your fate. Starfire is gonna suffer now while thinking about you, knowing that she will never meet you. I can't wait to see her face before I finish her off. Hahahahaha." - She adds.
"Blackfire, why are you doing all of this?" - Nightwing asks with an empty face and a calm voice.
"Well. Gine and I had a deal that if we capture you, she would make sure I become the ruler of Tamaran, even if it ends up by force." - Blackfire replies.
"No. I don't mean that. Why do you want Starfire to suffer this badly? Isn't she your sister? Did authority and jealousy really make you reject your family and whole people like that?" Answer me." - The blue hero questions with sharp eyes.
Blackfire is anxious and begins showing her teeth.
She starts remembering a flashback of herself 5 years ago.
Blackfire is seen flying towards the Castle of Tamaran.
"Father, Mother. Huff huff. The enemies have come. We need to do something to protect the others." - Blackfire says with a worried face.
Her mother approaches her.
"Blackfire. What is this irresponsible behavior? I told you to never the castle…." - The mother replies with anger.
"But…… If I didn't leave to check, I wouldn't have been able to warn you." - Blackfire speaks.
"Fine. I appreciate that. But don't do it again. It's very dangerous outside." - The queen responds.
The queen turns her back and decides to take Starfire's hand with her. Starfire looks at Blackfire with sad eyes.
And Blackfire feels infuriated because her mother did not give her acknowledgement or the care that her younger sister gets.
Camera switches back to the present with Blackfire and Nightwing.
"You don't know anything from what you are talking about. You are lucky that you are wanted alive, or I would have ended you right here if you ever talked like this." - Blackfire says with an angry face.
The blue hero stays silent for a moment.
"I may not have siblings like you. But even I can understand how painful it is to lose family, I did lose mine since I was a kid. How can you still act like this despite knowing the fact that you betrayed your beloved ones?" - Nightwing asks with a sharp look.
Blackfire gets angry and opens the door. Then she glows with purple energy and kicks the blue hero to his face, sending him to the wall.
Nightwing may be handcuffed, but he could definitely block or fight back against the Tamaranean. Despite that, he chooses to take the hit head-on and stay silent.
"I will make sure you shut your insolent mouth for sure!" - Blackfire says with rage.
Blackfire charges a blackbolt to try to either knock the blue hero down or even finish him off.
But Gine comes in and restrains her by stretching her arms around her body, stopping her movements completely.
"Blackfire, what are you doing? Do you seriously intend to crush all our efforts into capturing him just because of some nonsense he said?" - Gine says with a worried face.
"I am not finishing him off. I will just make sure he does not open his tongue again as he should be." - Blackfire responds with an annoyed face.
"That could still endanger him. The agreement was that he should be brought to Planet Citadel in perfect shape. If you truly want to become Tamaran's Ruler, you have to calm down and turn off your attack." - Gine speaks in a frightening manner.
Blackfire gets anxious at first. But she calms down and shuts down her powers. Gine also releases her body.
"Let's get down now. Make sure to close the prison's door so he doesn't try to escape. We may even need him here as well." - Gine says.
They both get out of the prison and close the door. Nightwing continues to sit in his place without making a move.
Then the 2 aliens get out of the spaceship. Some Gordanians are left in-front of it to guard the blue hero just in-case.
An opening starts here.*
Scene continues with Blackfire & Gine standing on the planet. The land looks brown and it seems empty. The sky is also purple, it seems similar to Planet Tamaran.
"So this is Planet Vernathia, hehe." - Gine says.
"Yeah. So why are we here?" - Blackfire asks.
"I had a deal with someone who lives here. He said that he will give me the watch of manipulation if I pay him." - Gine speaks.
"The watch of manipulation? What's its purpose?" - Blackfire questions with surprise.
"It's for you. With it, you will be able to mind control everyone on Tamaran and force them to be under your rule. Consider it a gift from me for your efforts. Hmhm. Also, I would be going with you and making sure it happens after this." - Gine says with a smile.
Blackfire gets happy.
"YES!!! Finally." - Blackfire shouts with an excited face.
They both continue walking slowly.
Camera switches to a city in the same planet. This is the planet of the same alien who met the Teen Titans before going by the name Val-Yor. He is known to not like the Tamaraneans specifically, and it seems innate within his race. But Blackfire is not aware of that.
The city seems to have normal Vernathians who are just walking around between buildings. Life seems more developed than on Tamaran and closer to Earth.
In the far side of the city, there is a long apartment. And in one of the highest floors, there is a Vernathian sitting in an office. And Val-Yor of all people is in-front of him.
"Director Zor-Yal, why did you call me here?" - Val-Yor asks.
"I need you on a mission. There is a woman that I have a made a deal with." - The director replies.
"Deal?" - Val-Yor wonders.
"Yeah. She wants to get the watch of manipulation that I have. She said she will pay a lot for it as well. Hehe." - Zor-Yal says.
"It costs a lot here though. Who can she be?" - Val-Yor questions.
"Ah. It's the Princess of Planet Citadel, Gine. Hahaha." - Zor-Yal replies.
"WHAT?!" - the alien on a mission is shocked.
He remembers the past where his race wiped out the Citadelians, about 10 years ago. And even ended the lives off the king and queen. It's Zor-Yal specifically who finished them off ruthlessly as well.
The Vernathians were always a very proud and powerful warrior race. And they looked down on some species, the Citadelians and the Tamaraneans were one of them.
Due to some disagreements between them, a war started, with the Vernathians coming out on top, completely obliterating the royal palace, the buildings around it and even resulting into the demise of the King and Queen.
Their daughter barely managed to survive thanks to one of the loyal guardians who take her body. But alas for her, she witnesses her parents being murdered in front of her eyes.
Val-Yor himself was never truly a supporter for that war at the time. But he did not have a choice but to fight. Zor-Yal however displayed pure hatred, and even ended up killing the royals by himself with cruelty.
Scene skips back to the present.
"Are you sure that she may not plan on anything against us despite 10 years passing?" - Val-Yor asks.
"I don't think so. She won't even dare that, she will meet her end like her tribe full of Troqs. But regardless, we will have her join them without her even knowing. Hahahahaha." - Zor-Yal talks while laughing with malicious intent.
"Huh!?" - The alien soldier is surprised.
"What? Did you seriously expect that I'd give my precious watch to that lowly being? Don't make me laugh. I'll go with you on this particular mission. You will act like there is no plan and try to give her the watch as a bait. But just before that, I'll snipe her head with my weapon. It doesn't make noise so it will be an easy win without wasting any effort. If she has any allies, we will just finish them off like nothing. Hahahaha" - Zor-Yal says.
Val-Yor is very shocked.
"That's cruel though. Can't we just….." - He says before being interrupted.
"Since when have you shown remorse for those beings, Val-Yor? Don't you remember what they have done to us before?" - Zor-Yal replies.
Val-Yor is a bit depressed. He does not want to do things like these. But at the same time…
"Remember the fact that I have taken care of you when you were a child and made what you are now. So you must do your mission. Don't worry, she won't suffer any pain, it is just a very quick that will end her life immediately. After that, I may give you a reward. Hehe." - The director speaks.
The soldier feels a bit disappointed and forced.
"Fine. Director Zor-Yal" - Val-Yor responds.
Scene switches back to Blackfire & Gine who have met a big monster on the way. It looks like a big pink lion with spikes around its body, its size is around 15 meters.
Though, they defeat it quickly. Gine stretches her arm completely around the beast, stopping his movements. And Blackfire punches his face with her alien super strength enhanced with a blackbolt, putting him on the ground.
"The creatures here are really annoying. This is the fourth one we meet on our way. When will we reach the location? Gine. It's been half an hour since we were moving." - Blackfire asks.
"He's coming." - Gine responds.
Gine manages to perceive Val-Yor who is flying on her way from about 2 miles thanks to her enhanced perception. He has the watch in his hands.
She starts to remember flashbacks of her life 10 years ago and keeps staring with eyes full of hatred.
"He's coming soon. We'll just sit here until he comes by himself. Then we will get what we have….. Don't let your guard down though." - Gine says with a sharp look.
"Huh? Why though? Isn't it just a deal?" - Blackfire replies.
By that time, the camera switches to Nightwing who is still sitting on the prison of the spaceship on his own. He remembers how Blackfire was infuriated quickly before.
"I really wonder what you are doing now, guys. Be careful." - The blue hero talks to himself calmly.
Scene switched to the 4 Titans who are on their ship. Cyborg is trying his best to search using the locator.
Starfire is visibly concerned.
"We'll find you. So please try to be okay at least." - She says to herself.
The ship continues flying and the scene switches back to the 2 alien girls.
It seems Val-Yor finally managed to reach them. And he lands down.
At that time, it seems that the director has went to the location first and hid himself in a mountain which is a mile away.
He prepares his long range rifle so he does not miss the target and keeps spying on them. He notices Blackfire with her.
"Oooh. So there is a Tamaranean as well. Haha. This is gonna be a great hunt." - He says.
Val-Yor in-front of them notices Gine. But he also sees Blackfire, and is surprised and seen sweating a bit.
He remembers the day that Starfire saved him from that barrier.
He tried to keep his pride at the time, but he can't deny that was his life was saved by a Tamaranean.
Despite that, he has to do this mission. For the man who raised him, and also for his people.
So he catches his breath and acts normally.
The 3 aliens approach each other.
"Hi. I'm Val-Yor. Pleased to meet you." - He says.
Gine gives a quite dark look at him. But she does not show any hostility.
"Gine. And this is Blackfire. So the one in your left hand is…." - Gine talks.
"Yeah. It's the Watch of Manipulation that you've asked for. You can check it." - Val-Yor replies.
Gine takes it from his hand and looks at it. It looks like a regular hand sized ball that has a watch on it. Blackfire seems impressed by it.
"How does it work exactly?" - Blackfire asks.
"If you press on the right button having the mark on it, it will give signals that will affect anyone who makes contact with them. The - button will nullify the effects and the people who get brainwashed will return to normal. However, the brainwashed person could return to normal if he was hit so hard on the head." - Val-Yor speaks with a serious face.
"Haha yes. That will definitely do the work Gine. We've won finally." - Blackfire says with excitement.
She keeps jumping in her place from joy.
But Gine stays silent with dark fearsome eyes, as if she's waiting for something. Does she truly trust the Vernathian or no?
"Anyway, I will buy this. How much does it cost?" - the Citadelian asks.
"Five billion. It's one of the highest prices in our planet admittedly." - He replies.
By that time, the sniper seems close to shooting.
"Hehe. She's about to find her head on the floor with a hole on it after just exactly 5 seconds. The Tamaranean will not keep her happiness for long too." - Zor-Yal says with a smile.
By that time, Gine puts 5 fingers in her hand, and keeps lowering it by each second.
Once it reaches 2 seconds, she puts the watch off her hand suddenly, surprising both aliens with her.
The moment it reaches 1 second and the sniper is about to shoot, Gine kicks the watch so hard that it reaches the sniper who is a mile away and hits his head at very high speed before he could even shoot.
It seems she has noticed the trap.
The sniper is hurt on the ground.
"But….. how did she?" - He says.
Val-Yor can't speak a word from shock and Blackfire is worried about the Watch that has been shot like a football. Luckily though, it was sturdy enough to withstand that kick and it didn't break.
"You Vernathians are truly the dumbest people I have ever encountered. I didn't expect more from rats like you though. Hehehe" - Gine says with an evil smile full of hostility for the first time.
Val-Yor is stressed, but he has no choice but to fight. He tries to hit Gine with Heat Vision. But Blackfire matches it with her blackbolt blast, canceling its effect.
"Blackfire, you take care of this buff guy. I have some business I have to finish with the other sniper with him." - Gine says with a serious face.
"Bet Gine. Just make sure you stay okay and bring the watch back with you." - Blackfire replies with a smile.
Gine gives her a smirk and heads to the sniper by compressing her legs to accelerate towards him.
Blackfire shoots many blackbolt balls at Val-Yor, who tanks them.
He gets close to Blackfire in order to land a punch, so she does the same thing. Once they clash, they create a shockwave that reaches 20 meters away and cracks the ground.
"You guys really fight very dirty." - Blackfire comments sarcastically.
Then they both fly up to fight in the sky, creating shockwaves with each clash. Val-Yor shoots another Heat Vision, but Blackfire dodges it with ease.
She then shoots blackbolt balls, which the Vernathian soldier blocks with his body.
Blackfire then charges a purple blast, taking advantage of the steam from both of their attacks. Val-Yor responds back with a red Heat Vision blast. Both beams start clashing.
By that time they are fighting, Camera switches to Nightwing who is still sitting while thinking about his friends, especially Starfire who is worried about him.
He stays silent for a while, until the metal wall of his prison gets destroyed somehow from outside, causing a shockwave which completely shocks the blue hero.
"Huh? What's happening exactly?" - He says.
He sees Zor-Yal being on the ground of the prison after being sent flying away.
"That guy looks quite familiar. Don't tell me this planet is….." - Nightwing says with a surprised face.
The Vernathian gets up.
"You won't get away with this, you filthy Citadelian." - The sniper says.
He flies away with anger from the hole that Gine's punch made. It seems that she punched him so hard that she sent him back to the ship.
Nightwing takes the opportunity and decides to follow him by running using his super speed from that hole made.
But he could not get the handcuffs out, so he's hindered.
Camera switches to Gine who is silent, with her eyes being full of darkness and killing intent.
"It seems that this is the same worm who made you suffer, father, mother. It's time to get your honor back now, it seems to be fate." - Gine talks to herself.
She finds that the Vernathian has come towards her at full flight speed. But he's huffing.
"Huff huff. Hahahaha, you may have gotten two lucky hits. But don't get cocky. Before that though, how did you manage to find out that I was here in that mountain? Citadelians' vision range can only extend up to 800 meters." - The director asks with a smile.
Gine keeps looking at her left and right side. She notices a volcano on her left side, about 1.5 miles away thanks to her enhanced vision. So she puts the plan on her head.
"You're not wrong. But I have a certain Jewel that enhanced my perception. It's the one that my family has inherited for centuries." - Gine replies with a calm face.
"Oooh. Telling your secret to your enemy, huh. You seem quite courageous for a Citadelian." - He replies mockingly.
Gine gives a smile and starts laughing slowly.
"Secret? Why would I hide secrets from a worm at the end of its life already before I crush it by myself?" - Gine replies.
Gine keeps remembering how he killed her parents.
And Zor-Yal gets more frustrated.
"You're gonna eat your tongue so hard from regret for what you have said. And it won't have any use at that point" - The Vernathian speaks.
He rushes at her and punches her face, sending her a few meters away. But it doesn't any damage.
He tries to fly towards her to land more blows, but she stretches her arm and her punch accelerates on her right side just before suddenly changing trajectory towards him, hitting him on his left side.
It seemingly hurts the Vernathian from his face. She gives a smile to irritate him.
"You're not gonna be smiling for long. I promise it." - Zor-Yal says with an annoyed face.
Gine starts running towards the volcano. And the Vernathian follows her while flying and trying to tag her using his Heat Vision.
"Huh. Running away huh? It's too late for that at this point." - The vernathian says.
Once Gine gets too close to the volcano, she tries to hit the silver alien with her unpredictable combo moves that she has used before on Nightwing. It successfully tags him and it causes damage on his body, making him fall.
"Damn you. You may be agile, but your speed is not going to do anything. I will finish you off right now." - He says with an angry face.
He charges up an amplified Heat Vision that is much stronger than before. And it creates a big red blast that hits the side of the volcano, destroying around 20% of its upper side.
He smiles thinking that he has won and takes a few steps on the front.
Suddenly, he gets a stretched punch just on his back, sending him flying meters away.
The Vernathian seems significantly hurt by that surprise attack. He turns back and he sees Gine in another form (The same form that she took on against Nightwing, its name is "Annihilation Mode").
"Tch. Your hit got much harder than before. And your appearance changed too. So this must be the Jewel that you were talking about. However, you can't do anything against me." - The cocky Vernathian says.
He tries to shoot a Heat Vision at the orange girl. But she dodges it with ease and then punches him with a stretched punch right at his face, putting him on the ground and a few meters away too.
"Tell me. Did you seriously expect that I was trying to run away from you prior? What a fool! I was trying to lure to this exact location." - Gine says with a dark face.
The volcano they are fighting just next to is seen about to erupt. And at that point, even the Vernathian gets what she means.
"Huh! Then how about I put there myself?" - The director says.
"Tell me first. How did you feel when you destroyed all those innocent Citadelians? And also my parents." - Gine asks with a cold expression.
"Huh. Nothing but pride. Just like how I will make you meet them now." - He replies.
"It makes sense then." - Gine says.
The Vernathian flies towards the Citadelian trying to land a punch, but he gets punched to the face instead. Then she comboes him with pure rage, with each punch coming from an unexpected direction while stretching and changing trajectories in an unpredictable manner, hitting the Vernathian from all sides. This causes him to scream from pain.
Then she gives him an upper cut sending him flying. He closes his eyes from pain.
But once he opens up, he finds Gine on the sky already and having prepared a giant-sized fist that is the size of two buildings stuck together. She starts compressing it for higher impact.
The vernathian is shocked and starts to genuinely feel fear, but it is too late.
"Meet your doom now. Begone!" - Gine comments in a calm, but frightening manner.
She releases the compression on her hand and successfully hits the target, sending him directly to the Volcano and causing it to erupt from the sheer force of the blow.
Gine emerged victorious, quite easily as well.
She lands on the ground standing up. And looks at the state of the battlefield after their battle. But she has no regrets.
She looks at the ground a little bit with depression.
"I have finally taken revenge for you. Dad, Mom." - Gine says just before starting to tear a little bit.
Camera switches to Blackfire and Val-Yor who continue to fight equally until they notice the Volcano's eruption. Both seem fatigued and damaged.
"What happened over there?" - Blackfire wonders.
Val-Yor also seems worried about his master.
Nightwing also manages to notice the volcano's eruption while running at super speed. A lightning trail is coming behind him while running. He also noticed that it's Gine's doing.
Gine is seen taking the watch of manipulation that was on the ground after being used like a football.
And then she heads towards Blackfire and the second Vernathian.
Blackfire and Val-Yor seem nearly on their last legs now.
Luckily for the Tamaranean though, Gine was unscathed from her fight as she completely outclassed her opponent.
Val-Yor notices that the Citadelian has jumped quickly towards him, so he tries to defend himself by shooting a Heat Vision blast. She dodges it though and hits him with a stretched punch directly to his face which sent him 30 meters away and knocked him out completely on the ground.
Blackfire is impressed herself. She has never seen Gine this angry before.
"What happened to the other Vernathian, Gine?" - Blackfire asks with a worried face.
Gine stays silent for a while at first.
"I've put an end to him for good, Blackfire." - Gine replies with a light voice.
Blackfire is a bit surprised for her unusual aggression. She doesn't know about Gine's past since she refused to talk about it.
Gine starts stepping towards Val-Yor's unconscious body, he is not finished yet though.
While doing that, Nightwing reaches the destination and was about to hit Gine with the handcuffs on his arms. But she blocks his attacks with both of her hands.
"What have you been doing? Gine." - Nightwing asks with a worried face.
"That's none of your concern, kid." - She replies.
They both take some steps back for distance.
Gine suddenly decides to press on the button in the Watch of Manipulation, sending signals which directly reach the blue hero who is completely unaware about it.
This causes his eyes to start spinning and he is brainwashed succesfully. He is just standing there and completely unable to move.
Gine then takes off the Jewel of Exile and reverts to her normal form. But she falls on her knees from exhaustion.
Blackfire gets close to check her state, the orange girl is seen panting heavily due to the fact that the she has been using the Jewel of Exile which drains her stamina.
But she amasses her strength and throws the watch towards Blackfire.
"Listen Blackfire, control the hero Nightwing with this. And head directly to Tamaran. That will be our next location. Huff huff." - Gine says with clear signs of exhaustion on her face and voice.
"Sure. But Gine, you need to……." - Blackfire tries to reply.
But she stops once she sees her ally lose consciousness on the ground.
The Tamaranean keeps looking at the environment around her. And slowly remembers some of her own past with her family as well. But she catches a deep breath.
She carries Gine on her back and orders the blue hero to follow her to the spaceship.
"Your efforts won't be in-vain, Gine. I promise…" - Blackfire talks to herself.
