Sorry for the delay for this ending. Hopefully, it was worth the wait. I will tell you, it was getting the likes and comments that got me over the finish line, so thank you so much for the encouragement and love. It is greatly appreciated. And now, for the conclusion…

Carly flew into GH, almost running into the doors in her haste, followed quickly by Johnny who was practically sprinting in his suit to keep up. Not even taking the time to ask where they were, she began to open doors, yelling, "Jason! Michael! Mommy's here!"

When a nurse ran up to her to try to stop her, Johnny stepped in front of the nurse to ask where Michael Morgan was in. Before she could answer, Jason stepped out of the room at the end of the hall, with Michael babbling happily in his arms.

Her knees went weak at the sight of them, and Johnny once again had to rush over, this time to catch her. Her entire body shook with sobs, as she incoherently said things like "Thank you, God!" and "My baby- huge wracking sob -oh, God, my baby".

Johnny looked to Jason with an extremely uncomfortable expression on his face, "Um… Boss, how 'bout we switch?"

In a moment, Jason had Carly in his arms and practically carried her into the empty room they had been assigned, whispering to her, "We got him back, Carly. He's fine, and he's healthy, and he's safe." Just those words over and over until she began to calm down.

Words slipped from her mouth without any thought, "I love you, thank you Jase, you found our baby, oh God, I love you so much. Thank you for bringing our son home."

Jason felt his heart swell at her words. Knowing that he almost lost his son, having lived for two days gripped with that fear, had helped him realize that if something amazing is standing in front of you, you have to grab it with both hands and hold on tight.

And if the last couple of months had shown him anything, it was that they could survive whatever came their way. However, this clearly wasn't the right moment. He wasn't even sure she was able to comprehend anything at the moment she was so lost in her relief and joy at seeing Michael.

When she was able to stand by herself again, Jason led her over to Johnny and Michael who had followed them into the room.

Grabbing him, she pulled him in close with Jason holding them both in his arms, pressing her nose to his sweet scented head. "Mr. Man, I missed you so much! Oh, mommy loves you so much! Are you okay?" She held him out to look him over, patting him down, which caused him to laugh and pat her cheeks with his hands.

Looking up at Jason, Carly asked, "Has the doctor seen him yet?"

"We were just waiting for some test results. They did some bloodwork and checked his urine. The doctor should be in here soon with the results."

She stood quietly for a moment, then, "Should I worry about the police taking you in?"

Pulling her tighter into him, he whispered in her ear, "Maybe. But they will never find the bodies or any evidence. They can't prove anything. And I had some of my guys lay false trails so it just looks like they ran. We are safe. We even got the DNA results back, so no one can get to us or to Michael."

Carly slumped in relief again, leaning into Jason, letting him support her. "It's over. Oh, Mr. Man, we're safe." She leaned up on her toes and gave Jason a soft kiss on the lips. "Thank you so much! I don't know what I would have done without you! We have the best husband and daddy ever don't we Michael?"

Pulling her in a little tighter, Jason said, "About that," then put his hand in her hair, tilting her face up and kissed her hard. Her head ended up on his shoulder at the force of the kiss.

They were broken apart by a throat clearing at the door. Jason broke away, looking toward the door in annoyance. Standing in the doorway, were the doctor and a wide eyed Johnny, who had a big grin on his face. He looked moments away from giving them a thumbs up or a high five.

Looking back down at Carly, he was pleased to see her expression still dazed with her fingers on her lips. Leading her to the little medical table in the back of the room, he helped settle her and Michael on it.

He nodded to Johnny, indicating he should leave, and then turned his full attention onto the doctor. He listened as the doctor talked about urine output, normal white blood cells, and healthy levels of things like potassium and iron. Once he was assured of his son's health, and had received discharge instructions, he guided his family out to the car.

With Michael asleep on Carly's shoulder, and Carly curled into his side, Jason took his first deep breath in days.

Carly shifted a little, then said, "You kissed me."

Tilting her face up, he said, "I did. Was it okay that I kissed you?"

"Always, Jase." He leaned down and gave her another kiss, but pulled back before it got too intense. Resting his forehead against hers, he said, "I love you, Carly. I'm in love with you and I want our marriage to be real. Tell me you want the same things."

A tear slipped down her cheek, "Since the moment I met you at Jakes, my sexy boy on the side, other than Michael, you are all I have wanted, to be loved by you feels like a dream. In fact, pinch me."

He looked down at her like she was crazy, which caused her to start giggling. "You can't feel pain in dreams, so you pinch yourself to make sure it's not a dream."

He leaned down to place an open kiss on her neck, then bit down hard enough to be on the other side of painful, but so hot she let out a moan.

"Convinced?" he whispered against her ear.

"Mmmm-hmmm." She moaned, "But feel free to continue convincing me."

Tilting her face back up to his, he gave her a deep kiss. Trying to pour everything he felt for her into it. Pulling back, he rests their faces together, their noses resting along each other, his hands cupping her face, his breath puffing against her lips, and his thumbs caressing her cheeks. "Thank you. Thank you for giving me a home and a family. Thank you for staying and not running. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being my best friend, and loving and accepting me exactly as I am. I thought what I felt for Robin was love, but now that I feel this, now that I love you, I know it wasn't. This feels real and perfect. I want this, you and me and our family forever." He leaned forward to kiss the tears that had fallen down her cheeks at his words.

"Oh, Jason! Oh God, this can't be real! No one as perfect as you can love someone like me. And before you say you aren't perfect, we've already covered that. And I'm pretty sure Michael agrees with me, so it's two against one. If I start thanking you for everything, I will be here telling you until I'm gray. But everything you have done for me, everything you have done for our son, the way you look at me, even though you see everything, my good and my awful, like I'm someone special; God, Jase, how could I not love you." She snuggled into him, running her hand up his chest. "Plus, you are gorgeous and we were really good together. A best friend who you have hot sex with is every girl's dream, especially with a body like yours."

Jason leaned down to kiss her intently. The kiss got harder and more demanding. Just when it was on the verge of getting out of control, they pulled up to the apartment building.

The movement of getting out of the car caused Michael to wake up. Happy with his mom and dad snuggled on both sides of him, he began waving his hands and cooing.

Getting off the elevator, the family came to a stop finding Bobbie waiting for them. Seeing Michael, her face lit up, and she took a step forward before stopping nervously.

Seeing her hesitation, Carly stepped forward to hand Michael to Bobbie. Jason had told her that Bobbie knew, so she said, "Do you want to go to Grandma, Michael?"

As he was passed over, babbling and cooing happily, tears dripped down Bobbie's face. After leading both women into the penthouse, and instructing the guards to keep everyone out, Jason came back into the penthouse to find Bobbie on the couch baby talking with her grandson with Carly to the side with a content look on her face watching the two of them. Jason stepped up behind Carly, pulling him back into his arms. She didn't think she had ever been this happy, this at peace. Her mother, her son, and her husband were happy, here with her. It was more than she could have dreamed.

Bobbie looked up at Carly, taking a deep breath for courage, she said, "I have missed you and loved you every single day of your life. I'm so sorry I had to let you go, but as a mother you understand better than anyone what lengths you will go to for your child. But don't think I didn't want you with me every moment." She looks down, and with a soft look, and a soft voice, she asks, "Why didn't you just tell me? When you got here, why didn't you just tell me who you were?"

There was no anger or judgment in her voice, so Carly's shoulder ticked up, "You just looked like you had the perfect life and didn't need me. I was scared you wouldn't want the trailer park trash daughter in your fancy life."

Hearing the insecurity, Bobbie moved forward, handing Michael to Jason, then taking Carly in her arms, at which point both women began crying. Jason said something about putting Michael down, then left the room. He wasn't even sure either woman noticed.

Bobbie told her, "I'm sorry you didn't have a good childhood. I thought I was giving you a better life than what I could give you. I was so young, and God, I was hooking. That was no life for a baby; it wasn't even a life for me. But I always wanted you and thought about you. I have loved you from the moment I knew you existed! When I saw that picture, I knew. I have that little face memorized."

Pulling her mother tighter to her, she said, "I'm sorry, I got scared and insecure and fought. Dr. Collins would say I'm making the worst happen so no one gets a chance to hurt me. I'm so sorry, Mom."

Both women just held each other for what could have been minutes or hours.

Finally, the crying eased off. Leaning back, Carly grabbed a box of tissues, and as each woman began wiping her face, Bobbie said, "How about we start over?" She held out her hand and said, "Hi, I'm Bobbie Spencer. I'm your mother, and I love you and have loved you every single minute of your life. I would love to have a relationship with you and a relationship with my grandson."

Giving a watery laugh, Carly takes her hand, "I'm Caroline Carly Morgan, your daughter, and I would love that. I'm pretty sure Michael is an easy sell at this point."

Both women were laughing as Jason walked down the steps. Bobbie stood up when he walked in. "I should let you have some family time and some rest. But could I come over tomorrow?"

Giving Bobbie a quick hug, Carly said, "I would like that."

Turning into Jason's arms, after Bobbie left, she leans up and as he leans down. Their kisses ravenous, hands shedding clothes so quickly buttons pop off and the occasional sound of tearing cloth can be heard. Not having the patience to find a bed, Jason lays her down on the couch and enters her before lying still, letting her adjust and enjoying the moment. Leaning down, giving her kisses, a mixture of soft and dirty.

Between kissing, he gets out the words, "That seemed to go well."

"Mmmhmm. My life is perfect." Looking up at him through her lashes, she says in a sexy purr, "I need you to do me a favor?"

Leaning more fully into her, his voice deep, he promises, "Anything."

Tilting her head to the side, she huskily asks, "I think I need you to make sure I'm not dreaming again."

Jason bit down on her neck, and they were lost to the world, exactly where they needed to be.
