*In the end, Shadow beat his Father by knocking his sword out of his hand. It landed in the balance beam that was in front of a portrait of the King & Queen when they were much younger*
Shadow: Do you two remember how you met? You always said that the first time you touched each other's hands, you just knew instantly.
*The King & Queen smiled as they looked at the painting & then at each other.
Queen Maria:*sigh* The stars were brighter that night, weren't they dear?
King Geoffrey: Indeed they were.
Shadow: Mother, Father. You both found true love. That's all I want.
*The King & Queen looked at each other & then at their son. Then they smiled*
King Geoffrey: Well, I think we both can see that you've made up your mind.
*Shadow turned to his parents in surprise*
Shadow: Mother? Father?
Queen Maria: If you try believe that this mysterious girl will make you happy. Then we give you our blessing to use whatever you need to find her
*Shadow smiled & hugged his parents*
Shadow: Oh, thank so much! *then he ran out of the room* Harvey! I need to write a Royal Proclamation at once!
*A few days later, Breezie was running through the chateau, looking for Abigail*
Breezie: CinderAbby! CinderAbby! CinderAbby! Oh, where is that - !
*Abigail came out of the kitchen door*
Abigail: Yes. Here I am.
Breezie: Oh. My daughters? Where are they?
Abigail: I think they're still in bed.
Breezie: Oh! Well, don't just stand there! *she started going up the stairs* Bring up the breakfast trays at once! And hurry!
*Abigail rushed into the kitchen. Sonic & Tails were watching the whole thing*
Sonic: What's going on?
Tails: Wonder what's up with her.

*They went into a mouse hole & made their way upstairs*
*Breezie entered Fiona's room*

*Fiona woke up*

*Breezie opened the curtains & Fiona went back under the covers*
Breezie: Get up! Quick, this instant! We haven't a moment to lose! *then she went into Mindy's room* Mindy! Mindy! *Sonic & Tails came in through a mouse hole* Get up, Mindy!
*Mindy got up, with her head under the pillow*

*Breezie opened the curtains*
Breezie: Oh, everyone's talking about it! The whole Kingdom! Oh, hurry now they'll be here any minute!
*Fiona entered the room, still groggy*
Fiona: Who will?
Breezie: The Prince, the Prime Minister, and the Prince's Squire! They've been hunting for three days now.
Fiona: Hunting?
Breezie: For that girl! *Abigail came in, holding a tray of tea & toast* The one who lost her slipper at the last Royal Ball. They say he's madly in love with her.
*Fiona sat on Mindy's bed*
Mindy: The Jewel King?
Breezie: Oh, no, no, no! The Prince!
*Abigail was shocked at what she just heard*

*She dropped the plate she was holding & everything fell to the floor with a - *
CRASH!
Breezie: You clumsy little fool! *Abigail started to clean the mess* Clean that up. And then help my daughters dress.
*Fiona had climbed into Mindy's bed*

Mindy: If he's in love with that girl, why should we even bother?
*Pulled the covers over themselves, but Breezie quickly pulled them off*

*Sonic covered his mouth*
Breezie: The glass slipper is their only clue. *Abigail listened closely* Now, the Prince wants every girl in the Kingdom. And if one can be found who the slipper fits. Then. By the King and Queen's command. That girl shall be the Prince's bride!

*Hearing that, Fiona & Mindy immediately jumped out of bed*
Fiona & Mindy: His bride!
Fiona: CinderAbby! Get my things ngs together!
Mindy: Nevermind her! Mend these right away! *they started frantically running around the room, shouting orders at her & piling clothes on the tray she just picked up. but she didn't seem to hear a word they were saying. She was lost in a daydream* Wha - What's the matter with her?
Fiona: Wake up, stupid!
Mindy: We've gotta get dressed.
Abigail: Dressed. *she handed Mindy the pile of clothes* Oh, yes. *she started to head towards the door leading to her attic room* Oh, we must get dressed. It would never do for his Highness to see me in this.
Mindy: Mother, did you see what she did!?
Fiona: Are you just going to let her -
Breezie: Quiet!
*She watched Abigail very closely. She was humming to herself & smiling like she was in a dream*
*Abigail singing*
Ten minutes ago, I met you
*Breezie's eyes narrowed as she watched Abigail climb up the stairs to her room. She started to follow her. Sonic & Tails
Tails:*whispering* What do you think she's going to do?
Sonic:*whispering* Shh! I don't know. Let's keep an eye on her. Come on! *they went into a mouse hole that went up the stairs. once they got close to the top, they looked downstairs, they saw Breezie on the warpath. so, they kept going. when they got her room, they found her brushing her hair & singing to herself* Abby!
Tails: Abby!
*Abigail singing*

*They climbed on to her vanity as they tried to warn her*
Sonic: Abby, look out!
Tails: Behind you!
Abigail: Wait, what? *she looked in her vanity mirror & saw her Stepmother in the mirror, locking the door with the key in the door* Oh no! *Breezie closed the door. she went to the door & tried to open it, but it was locked* No, please! Oh, you can't do this! You just can't! *Breezie smirked as she listened to her plead* Let me out! You must let me out! You can't keep me in here! *Breezie put the key in her dress pocket & started to go downstairs* Oh, please, please.
Tails: What are we going to do, Sonic?
Sonic: I'm not sure. But I bet I know who can help us!
*Meanwhile, a Royal Carriage was pulling up to the chateau. A horn sounded to announce their arrival. Fiona & Mindy rushed to the window*

Fiona: The Prince, the Prime Minister, and the Prince's Squire!
*Both girls went to a nearby vanity & started to put on make-up*
Mindy: Oh, do I look alright? I'm so excited, I just don't know what I'll do!
Breezie: Girls. Now remember. This is your last chance. Don't fail me. *she opened the door, finding Shadow, Harvey, & Silver on the other side. she bowed* Welcome to our humble home, Your Highness.
Shadow: Thank you, Madame.
Breezie: May I present my daughters. Fiona and Mindy.
*Fiona & Mindy bowed*
Mindy: Your Highness.
Shadow: Pleasure. *he turned to Harvey* Harvey, if you would?
*Harvey nodded & pulled out a scroll*
Harvey Who: Ahem! All loyal subjects of their imperial Majesties are hereby notified by Royal Proclamations in regard to a certain glass slipper. *Silver held up the slipper on a purple silk pillow* It is upon this day decreed -
Fiona: Why that's my slipper!
Mindy: Well, I like that! It's my slipper!
*Silver ducked & his behind Harvey when they both went to grab for it*
Breezie: Girls, girls! Your manners. A thousand pardons, Your Highness.
Shadow: No harm done. Please continue, Harvey.
Harvey Who: Yes, Your Highness. It is upon this day decreed that the quest be instituted thought out the length and breath of our domain the soul and express purpose of said quest be as follows to it. That every single maiden in our Kingdom, without privilege or exception, she'll try upon her foot this aforementioned slipper of glass and should one be found whose footsteps shall propose fit. Such maiden shall be acclaimed the object of this search and immediately forth shall be looked upon as the one and only true love of his Royal Highness, beloved son and heir, Prince Shadow. Said nobel Prince humbling upon better knee beg or if need be implore said maiden to take her hand in marriage. Well upon, should the aforementioned maiden look with favor upon his shoot then shall the happy couple pledge that truth. And upon the inevitable demise of his most gracious and august Majesty the King, succeed to the throne there to rule over all the land as King and Queen of our beloved Kingdom. So be it.
Harvey sighed, having read that same proclamation many times over the past three days*
Breezie: You and your men must be quite fatigued, Your Highness. May we offer you all some tea?
*She started to pour a cup*
Shadow: Thank you, Madame, but no. We must proceed with the fitting.
Breezie: Of course. Fiona, dear.
*Mindy sat down in a chair & let Silver put the slipper on her foot. But it didn't fit*
Fiona: It shrunk.
*Mindy let out a laugh*
Harvey Who: Try again.
*She tried multiple times, but it still wouldn't fit*
Mindy: Oh, enough!
*She pushed her sister out of the chair & sat down. She pushed as hard as she could, but her foot didn't fit either*
Silver: Bad luck, miss.
*Meanwhile, up in the attic, Abigail was still crying in front of her door*
?:*off-screen* Don't tell me you're just giving up?
*Abigail turned around & saw Lacey standing in the middle of her room*
Abigail: Lacey! *she stood up & hugged her* What are you doing here?
Lacey: I've come to help. Your two little friends told me what happened. ** You wouldn't believe what they went through to get to me. That rotten cat Ivo tried to stop them. Luckiest, Muttski was able to chase him off. Anyways, there's not much I can do here. But there is something you can do to save yourself.
Abigail: Me? But what can I do?
Lacey: Simple. You have to trust that the Prince knows you in his heart.
*Abigail was confused with what that meant. But then realized it. She quickly opened her window*
*Back downstairs, the Prince & his party were getting ready to leave*
Harvey Who: Are you certain that there's no one else here?
Breezie: Absolutely.
Shadow: I was told you had three daughters.
Breezie: Well, I do but -
*Suddenly, a beautiful singing voice rang through the house*

*Shadow seemed to recognize the voice immediately. Harvey gave Breezie & her daughters a look, which made them nervous. Silver was in awe at voice*

Shadow: My, what sweet singing. *he glared at Breezie, who was speechless. then he turned to Silver* Silver, would you be so kind as to investigate.

*They went up to the attic, where Breezie unlocked the door. They found Abigail standing in the middle of the room*
Breezie: There. See. I told you it was no one of any importance.
Silver: We'll see about that. Miss, you are requested and required to present yourself to your the Prince.
Breezie: As your Mother, I forbid you to do this!
*Abigail glared at her*
Abigail: You have never been and you never will be my Mother.
*That left Breezie speechless. Abigail started to head towards the door, but Breezie grabbed her arm*
Breezie:*whispering* Just remember who you are, you wretch!
*She left go & Abigail left the room*
*Abigail walked down a hallway & paused in front of a mirror*
Narrator: Would who she was, who she really was, be enough? There was no magic to help her this time. This is perhaps the greatest risk that any of us will take. To be seen as we truly are.
(Flashback)
Laura: Have courage and be kind.
*She made it to the parlor, where Shadow was waiting with the slipper in hand*
Shadow: Who are you?
Abigail: I am Abigail. Your Majesty. I'm no Princess. I have no carriage, no parents, no dowry. I do not even know if that beautiful slipper will fit. But, of it does. Will you take me as I am? An honest country girl who loves you?
Shadow: Of course I will. But only if you will take me as I am. An apprentice still learning his trade. *he motioned to a chair* Please.
*Abigail sat down & he kneeled before her. Harvey, Silver, Fiona, & Mindy watched in anticipation. Shadow slipped the slipper on her foot & it fit perfectly. Abigail they took the other slipper out of her apron pocket & put it on her other foot. They both smiled at each other & stood up. But just as they were about to kiss, Fiona & Mindy burst into the room*
Fiona & Mindy: CinderAbby!
Mindy: Abby!
Fiona: My dear sister! I'm sorry. So very sorry.
*They both curtsied to them. Harvey & Silver bowed*
Shadow: Shall we?
Abigail nodded. Then, hand-in-hand, they headed towards the door. But Abigail stopped & turned to her Stepmother, who was watching from the stairs*
Abigail: I forgive you.
*Then she left with Shadow*
Narrator: Forgiven or not, Breezie and her daughters would soon leave and never see foot on the Kingdom again.
*A week later, wedding bells rang as the newly wed couple ran down the palace steps, towards an awaiting carriage. Shadow was wearing his formal suit & Abigail was wearing a gold tiara, a veil, & a cream colored wedding dress with gold designs (look up "Peach - Cinderella (2015 - Wedding Dress)" by "Katlime" on "DeviantArt"). Suddenly, she lost one of her shoes, again. She went back for it, but the King picked it up & placed it on her foot. Then she kissed his cheek, hugged the Queen, & entered the carriage with her new husband. The crowd cheered as waved to them*
*Chorus singing*
Have faith in your dreams

*The mice threw rice down at the newly weds. Major was leading the horses pulling the carriage, looking as proud as he could. Muttski ran beside the carriage, wearing a gold collar*
