A swarm of vampire soldiers lead by Demitri Maximoff was flying at high speed to Jedah's castle. All of them were geared up for battle with helmets, armor and weapons in hand, except for Demitri, who was confident in his abilities. "Swoop in, my minions! Remind them of the might of House Maximoff!" They heard Demitri shout, filling his soldiers with moral.

Confused of the current situation, Jon asked Morrigan "Did you ask for his aid, Aensland?"

Morrigan scoffed at the thought of asking Demitri any corm of assistance and answered in denial "I most certainly did not! I would rather burn for eternity than ask HIM for help!"

Then Felicia asked "Then how come he's coming here right now?"

"I have no idea." Morrigan answered. "But if I have to guess, I'd say he is out on one of his battles for conquest."

"So in other words: he came at his own accord." Said Jon.

Jedah gritted his teeth in anger and said "He could not have chosen to attack at the worst time!" He then conjured his scythe and grabbed it with his hand. He then pointed his scythe at Demitri and his soldiers as he ordered his minions with a shout "My minions, our fun with Aensland and her companions will have to wait! We must defend House Dohma! Attack!" His bee demons took flight and went to battle with the vampires.

The two opposing armies clashed and scattered around the air in a chaotic fight. One vampire clawed a bee demon to the face and clawed another one in the face as well. Another vampire grabbed a bee soldier by the ankle and spun it around before sending it hurdling at other bee soldiers, while a different vampire avoided a spear strike, grabbing it afterwards and then flew quickly behind the bee soldier who attacked and started strangling it with the same spear.

While the battle raged on, Morrigan, Felicia and Jon stood there watching the struggle. Then Felicia said "Welp, whatever his reasons, his timing couldn't be any better, given the situation we were in."

Demitri fought like a ferocious beast, clawing, beating, and biting Jedah's soldiers one by one. He even grabbed two demonic bees by their heads and bashed them together, rendering them unconscious with a grin with a warrior's glee. Noticing this, Jon said "And from the look on his face, he seems to be enjoying it exceedingly."

"Yes, he always did have knack for physical conflict." Said Morrigan as she suddenly felt a stinging pain on her side, causing her to let out a small groaning sound and holding the side of her waist.

Jon and Felicia realized something was wrong with Morrigan, so they tried to help her keep balance. "Wow, Morrigan! Are you okay?"

Morrigan waved the sting she felt off and said in dismissal "I-I'm fine. Just a twinge."

"If you say so..." Said Jon, not convinced of what the succubus was claiming.

Demitri kept on attacking the soldiers, when he spotted something that caught his attention. To his surprise, Morrigan was present at the battle as well. He made an intrigued smile as he thought to himself aloud "Well, well...! This just got more interesting...!" In a flash, he flew down right where Morrigan, Jon, and Felicia were standing, which startled them to put their guard up. "Morrigan Aensland...! I take that you were plotting to take on Jedah as well? I must say, you don't have much of an army here!"

Demitri laughed, as Felicia puff her cheeks, insulted by what the vampire said. "Hey, what is that supposed to mean, huh?! We are capable of handling sticky situations!" Jon and Morrigan looked at the nekomata with dumbfounded expressions. Felicia looked back at the succubus and wolf man confused at first, but then realized what she just said. "Uh, that came out wrong, didn't it...?"

"In any case, we didn't come here for a fight, Demitir. We only infiltrated Jedah's castle in order to save my... uh, subordinate here." Said Morrigan, holding a hand out at Felicia.

"Subordinate?!" Felicia exclaimed in offense. "What do you mea-" Jon then covered Felicia's mouth so as to calm her down.

"Did you now?" Asked Demitri, cupping his chin. "And I take you brought this dog along to assist you in that matter?" Jon glared at Demitiri, agitate of what he had just said. "I must say, I never picked you to care for any of your subordinates, Aensland. Could it be that you have gone soft...?"

Morrigan crossed her arms, turned her head away from Demitri with a look of disgust and said "Say what you will, Maximoff! I have my reasons."

"If you want to leave it at that..." Said Demitri almost mockingly. "At the very least, you have been given the privilege to spectate the greatness of my soldiers and yours truly!"

Annoyed and trying to keep her patients, Morrigan said in decline "As thrilling as it sounds, I'm afraid we need to get back to my castle as soon as possible."

Although disappointed, Demitri laughed it off and said "Suit yourself, Aensland. You were fortunate that I decided to send my scouts to spy on Jedah. So I hope that you are grateful!"

"Yes, yes, I'm very grateful." Morrigan then used her power to tear open a portal leading to her castle.

Felicia was in awe of what she was seeing. "Wow, so cool...!" She then thought of something that made her wonder. "Wait a minute... This whole time, you could've just opened a portal to get me out of this dump?!"

"Not really, because each castle of Makai has a magical barrier, meaning we can only open portals a distance from the castles." Morrigan explained.

"Oh... That would make sense, wouldn't it...?" Said Felicia, feeling foolish for not thinking about the situation.

A spear was then suddenly thrown to the ground, penetrating the unnatural soil, which took Morrigan, Felicia, and Jon by surprise. Then Jon said "Let's not dawdle any longer! We need to get out of here!"

"Uh, right! Let's beat it!" Said Felicia as she followed Morrigan and Jon through the portal.

Once the portal closed, Demitiri was left amused by the encounter. "Heh, heh, heh... I have indeed gone soft, Aensland." He then turned his attention to Jedah, who was viciously fending off vampires coming from all different directions. "Now to have some fun!"

Demitiri then turned his cape into wings and flew towards Jedah in a flash. By the time Jedah noticed Demitiri, he was clawed at the face. Jedah backed off, covering his bleeding face as he glared at Demitri with venomous eyes. "You have some nerve, Maximoff! Invading my domain when I least expect it! I will make sure you pay dearly for this, you damn blasted bat!" And so Jedah and Demitir both charged towards each other with vigorous speed.

Meanwhile, back at Castle Aensland, Morrigan, along with Jon and Felicia had returned through the portal right by the castle gates. Jon let out a sigh and said "We made it."

"Yeah, so much more peaceful here compared to what's going on at Jedah's shack of a castle." Said Felicia.

"I couldn't agree more, Felicia." Said Morrigan, when she was suddenly tackled by Lilith in a surprise hug.

"Sis, you're back!" Lilith exclaimed with joy, snuggling against Morrigan.

The older succubus chuckled as she stroke her younger sister's hair and said "Glad to be back, wee lass."

Lilith then broke away and ran to Felicia to give her a hug as well. "Felicia, you're okay!"

Felicia hugged Lilith back and said "I sure am! Those bees were easy to swat!"

Lilith then looked at Jon, visibly confused as she asked "Who are you?"

"Uh, Talbain. Jon Talbain." The werewolf answered. "Ms. Aensland requested for my assistance."

"You mean you helped my sis rescue Felicia?" Asked Lilith as she happily held his hands up in gratitude. "That's wonderful! Thank you so much, Mr. Talbain!"

Lilith's joyous act of gratitude caused Jon to blush as he lightly scratched his cheek and said in modesty "It was nothing."

Then Morrigan said "I say to was far from nothing. You proved to have been a great asset back there. Well, now that we've left that whole ordeal behind, the least I can do is offer you hospitality, courtesy to Aensland."

"That's a kind offer, but..." Before Jon could say another word, he noticed Morrigan wincing more and looking too weak to stand. "Aensland?" Then, suddenly, the green haired succubus fell over, forcing Jon to react and catch her before she fell. "Aensland!"

Felicia and Lilith both hurried to Morrigan's side in worry. "Morrigan!" Felicia exclaimed.

"Sis!" Lilith shouted in shock.

Morrigan groaned in an ill voice as Jon held her up bridal style and exclaimed "Let's get you inside, now!"

Jon then bolted for the gates with Felica following him. Lilith flew back to the castle as fast as she could as she shouted frantically "Servants! Servants, help! Go get a doctor! Morrigan needs help!"

And just when you thought the drama would end there, but it's not quite yet over. Next chapter will have Jon and Felicia go to China. Why, you ask? You'll have to find out when it's finished.
