Near a high school, Adrian and Alya were helping Marinette up to her feet after she had fallen down while the former picked up her backpack for her. When she turned around, she gave him a sheepish yet thankful look until Chloé carelessly knocked her down to give Adrian a hug while frustrating Marinette in the process.
(Adrian Agreste: But when night falls and Horrors run amok, I take up Garo's title, and become…)
As the sun faded away and was replaced with a full moon, a generic Horror was about to pounce onto a man with light magenta hair tips who was trying to back away from with his hands when a Garo appeared in between them and runs the Horror through with an ornate Longsword, vaporizing it to nothing!

After seeing the human safe, Garo then charged into a group of twelve other Horrors as Ladybug swung next to him with a yo-yo.

By the Arc de Triomphe, three knights were standing on top of the landmark (From left to right), Zero, Giru, and lastly, a red elephant/wolf-based knight with a long ornate saber) while underneath them are Hawkmoth, who was standing next to a Kiba and Jinga as he plants his cane onto the ground.

Now in front of a ladybug-patterned background, Ladybug was now standing side-by-side with Cat Noir. They give each other a nod before the hero tried to give the heroine a kiss, which she jumps over as they transform to their civilian forms, Marinette and Adrian, but this time he was wearing a white trench coat with a checker patterned inside, a hood over his head, and a yellow two-piece Kabuki Lion mask on his face. They then looked at each other like nothing happened, with the girl looking at him with 'cutsie eyes' as Adrian looks at her with a cocky smile as he plants his sheathed sword down.

Now day time, all five of the heroes are now standing in front of the Eiffel Tower while posing side-by-side.
"Don't blink now, 'cause we are on live from Paris. Yo peeps, Alya here, bringing you the one and only Ladyblog. And today, I was given permission from my principal to shadow one of Paris' superheroes for the afternoon, interviewing people who have been Akumatized so far." Alya said as she held her phone up to her face before turning it around to show Cat Noir talking to Aurora. "So, can you tell me what you saw when you were Akumatized, Ms. Beauréal?" "Well, there wasn't much to see. When I was Stormy Weather, all I saw was…" Aurora paused when she, Cat Noir, and Alya heard a helicopter flying overhead with Ladybug being dragged by it by her Yo-yo, screaming as something fell off of her person. As the helicopter flew away, they just stared at the direction for a minute. "So… like I was, uh, saying. Yeah, the only things I remember seeing when Hawkmoth spoke to me were his cowl-covered head and a dark room." Aurora finished as she refocused on her memories as a villain. "And you're sure there's nothing else? No clues?" "No. I'm sorry, but I was too blinded by the power I was given to pay attention." She told Cat Noir somberly before he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. "It's okay. Sooner or later, we all get tempted with power beyond our wildest dreams. So we have to remember what we do have, rather than what we don't." He informed Aurora before he backed away and walked over to Alya. "So far it's been the same thing: Person comes into contact with Akuma before seeing only Hawkmoth's face and a vague background." Cat Noir summarized as he saw Alya turn off her phone. "Yeah, and so far, the backgrounds have been inside a place no one recognizes. But at the very least, we might have something about a miraculous holder." She claimed as she walked over to the object before immediately realizing it was a French history book. "No way." Alya muttered in shock.
(3 hours later, Boulangerie Patisserie)
"Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a ninth grade history book. And I should know, 'cause I've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a middle school student, in real life?!" Alya dramatically said as Marinette looked at the video in pure shock! "I told you from day one, Tikki, I'm a total klutz!" "I don't even know how you dropped it, the whole suit envelopes your body. Either way, what's done is done; we can't change what happened. We can only move forward. Alya must not find out who you are. You know how persistent she can be with her blog totally dedicated to Ladybug." Tikki told her as Marinette was now facing down onto the desk, sulking. "But how? Maybe I'm not cut out for this whole Ladybug thing." "You had three successful victories in a row. You're doing better than some of my previous holders." Tikki stated as she began typing something on the keyboard while Marinette became confused at what she said. "Wait, what do you mean 'previous holders'?" Marinette asked as Tikki finished typing and brought up an image of an Egyptian pharaoh. "I'll explain when we have this sorted out, but first we have to give her some of Ladybug's past to throw her off the trail of yours at the museum." "Okay, but I don't know how I'm gonna convince Alya to go to an Egyptian exhibit, much less convince her that I'm not Ladybug! Besides, I don't even know what I'm looking for!" "Don't worry! Just tell her you found something about Ladybug at the Egyptian exhibit." Tikki told Marinette.

An hour later, Alya and Marinette were getting off the bus to the museum. "Can you believe it? All I gotta do is find out who this history book belongs to and BAM, I figure out Ladybug's true identity! I'm so on this one!" Alya told Marinette as they walked into the museum. "You really think you could figure out who Ladybug is from a textbook that every middle school student owns?" "Yep. 'Cause our school is the only school that uses that book! HA! So, all I gotta do is find out which girl in ninth grade lost her history book last week." Alya explained as she walked up to the entrance to the Egyptian exhibit. "There are forty-three girls, not counting myself-" "Forty-two! Not counting you or me." Marinette interrupted before Alya elbowed her gently. "Check again. Yesterday, someone didn't have their textbook in class." She stated before entering the Egyptian exhibit, causing the irises in Marinette's eyes to dilute, shrinking as she briefly panicked before coming up with an excuse.
"I left it at home! You know I always forget my stuff!" Marinette claimed before Alya leaned in and gave her a suspicious look, unfortunately causing Marinette to back up and look shocked. "Alright. I'll drop you from the investigation, if you can bring your history book back to class tomorrow." Alya told her, still suspicious of Marinette, before she was knocked over by a young adult, wearing near Egyptian-themed clothes, who also fell over with an envelope of papers and a scarab pendant. "It's not broken." He said in relief after inspecting the pendant and proceeded to pick himself up with his envelope. "Uh, I'm okay too, thanks for asking." Alya said sarcastically and annoyed as the guy turned to face them. "I'm sorry. Hey, you're in the same grade as Alix, right? I'm her older brother, Jalil Kubdel. So you're into Tutankhamen too?" Jalil asked until he noticed his father, Mr. Kubdel. "Dad!" He said before running to him. "Weird. So again girl, why are we here? This exhibit's got something to do with Ladybug? For reals?" "Well, uh…" Marinette stuttered after Alya turned away from her to look around. She then looked to Tikki, who pointed to a papyrus with the sun god, Rai, holding hands with Nefertiti above the sun and two servants holding up a woman. "Yeah, it's over there." She told Alya as she showed her the papyrus, passing a scepter inside a glass case. "Come on. Tell me what it is already." "No, no, cause... it wouldn't be a surprise then. For you or me." Marinette muttered under her breath before Jalil and his father made their way to the papyrus. "I'm telling you, father, it's right there in the hieroglyphics." Jalil told his father before he pushed Marinette away.
"Excuse me. There, as you know, the one with the scepter is Tutankhamun, the first. And there, opposite is Nefertiti, his princess. There are exactly one hundred mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the sun god Ra took her as his goddess." He explained as he addressed the first and ,the top part of the, third images. "Yes, I know all that. I'm the director of this exhibition, remember? Though there are some facts that you've either missed or mixed up." Mr. Kubdel stated before clearing his throat. "Not only was Nefertiti Tutankhamen's stepmother, and the time of her death was, and still is, in question." He informed Jalil, letting him understand what's wrong with whatever theory he had. "Oh… o-oh god." "Welcome to history, where the choice of people back then can be… disturbing at worst. Now, you were saying?" Mr. Kubdel asked as Jalil slowly came back to his senses. "Huh? Oh, yes! Anyway, as the images show, Tutankhamun wanted to bring back his… he wanted to bring back Nefertiti. He would do this by offering the sun god a new wife. However, nobody has ever fully deciphered the hieroglyphics, but I think I've figured it out. A simple chant that needs to be recited like a request!" He explained as Marinette turned to Alya. "He kinda reminds me of someone else with crazy ideas… you!" "No. His is crazy because it revolves around bringing back the dead. Mine actually has seemingly rock-solid proof." Alya claimed as she pushed Marinette's accusing finger back down. "Jalil, these types of frescoes are almost always the illustration of a 'legend'. They called it that for a reason." Mr. Kubdel stated as he turned around to leave, only to be stopped by Jalil. "That's what everyone thinks, but I can prove it!" "Really? And exactly how are you going to "prove it"?" Mr. Kubdel asked as he knew he wasn't going to like the answer. "I just need to get my hands on Tutankhamun's scepter and recite the spell!" Jalil claimed as he tried to reach for the glass case, only for his father to grab his arm and yank him back! "Are you serious?! Don't even think about touching that scepter. I'd lose my job on the spot! It's a priceless historical object, not a toy!" He scolded Jalil before walking. "Come on, dad! We have to try out the spell! What if Tutankhamun had found out how to bring people back to life?!" "ENOUGH!" Mr. Kubdel yelled out in frustration, catching the attention of everyone in the room! "Get this through your thick skull; Tutankhamun was nothing more than a child when he was pharaoh, and if by some miracle he did figure it out before dying at 18, the dead should stay as that!" He shouted before storming off, leaving his son in shock!

At around the same time, Hawkmoth was in a room of an abandoned building filled with white butterflies. "Oh, to be scorned for wanting to live out a fantasy. Now that's not fair, especially when I can make it a reality." He claimed as one of the butterflies landed on his waiting hand. He then placed his other hand on top, transforming it into an Akuma before letting it go. "Fly away, my evil Akuma, and grant that young man's wish!" Hawkmoth ordered as the Akuma flew out an open window.
(Adrien's room)
Meanwhile, Adrien was sitting on a chair in front of a deck with three monitors, a black keyboard, and the dragon egg underneath a heat lamp, as Alix and Eiji practiced spells. "I can't believe your father had mine work on your trench coat." He stated as he turned around to see Alix firing green energy bolts at Eiji, who was dissipating them light sword strikes. "I can't believe you have a Makai Dragon egg. Also, we wear duster coats, there's a difference." She told Adrien before she drew a circle in the air with her Brush and fired a more powerful bolt at Eiji, only for him to immediately send it back and impact her gut, sending her flying back into a foosball table. "Okay… that hurt." Alix said as she tried to hide the pain in her voice while also trying to get back up. Unfortunately, she couldn't do the latter.
Outside of the Louvre, Jalil sat by a nearby fountain, reflecting on what his father told him as the Akuma flew towards him. It then assimilated into his amulet, connecting him with Hawkmoth as his symbol appeared on his face.
"Pharaoh, I am Hawkmoth. I know of your desire to test your hypothesis, so I will endow you with the magical power of the ancient gods of Egypt. But in return, you must do me a favor." Hawkmoth told Jalil as he showed him an image of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous.
"My precious Nefertiti will come back to life!" Jalil declared as he got up and proceeded to transform.
Back with Marinette and Alya, the former found bupkis as the latter got bored of Marinette stalling and went to look at the History book, only to be stopped. "Look closely! It is in there." "Alright, enough!" Alya told Marinette as she pushed her off. "You know, I actually, for a second, thought that you might be Ladybug! But you know what?! Not even Ladybug would act as nutty as you!" She told Marinette as Pharaoh, a tall and muscular man with pupil-less eyes that glowed cyan over a helm that resembled an actual pharaoh, roseish black skin, and wore attire similar to an ancient Egyptian with the amulet now resembling a flying scarab with a sun disk. Just as Pharaoh entered the room, a security guard spotted him and attempted to stop him. "Hey, you! Stop right there!" "Thoth, give me time!" Pharaoh commanded as his head flashed gold and turned into an Ibis bird's head. He then clasped his hands together and launched a gold bubble at the guard, capturing him as he suddenly slowed to a crawl! He then proceeded to trap anyone who was in the way of the papyrus in the room, narrowly capturing Alya and Marinette before they took cover behind the pedestal of Tutankhamen's scepter. Unfortunately, that didn't last long as Alya pulled out her phone and started live-streaming as she ran to get a better view. "ALYA!" Marinette called out just before ducking back and sneaking away, just as Pharaoh walked up to the papyrus. She then snuck to the other side of the exhibit before opening her bag, letting Tikki out. "Tikki, Spots on." Marinette whispered as she became Ladybug.
"Hey Adrien, looks like you got a notification from the Ladyblog." Alix told Adrien, who was now sparring Giru as Garo. As they stopped and disengaged their armor, Adrien walked over to the computer and clicked on the notification, showing them a livestream of the attack at the Louvre. "Coming to you live, Ladyblog viewers, I'm at the scene even before Ladybug or Cat Noir! This is insane!" Alya said before Pharaoh smashed the glass covering the scepter before taking it. "Wow! I love the face changes! You could use that one." "Plagg, Claws Out." Adrien said as he transformed into Cat Noir and Plagg was sucked into the ring. "Well, that's one way to shut him up. Now let's move." Alix said as she pulled out her watch with Fluff flying out. "Fluff, Clockwise!" She said as she transformed, now sporting an arctic blue jumpsuit with slicked back rabbit ears on an open-faced helm with eyes on the front over a mask that also covers her nose and an umbrella resembling a lance.
Moments after Pharaoh smashed the glass, the alarm kicked in as metal bars dropped down on the entrances while Ladybug just barely entered the room! "You know that's considered stealing." "Actually, I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me." Pharaoh claimed as he levitated the papyrus to his side. "Maybe if you were a real pharaoh, which you're not!" Ladybug stated as she pulled out her yo-yo to fight as Alya completely got out of cover, still live-streaming. "Look at Ladybug go! If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up!" She said as Ladybug looked at her with a worried expression as she motioned for her to get back to cover. "Ladybug waved at me! No way!" "Get out of here, you idi-" Ladybug was shouting at Alya before Pharaoh sucker-punched her into an Egyptian pillar, breaking off a chunk of the relic and knocking Ladybug out as she bled from the punch! "Wow, that was embarrassing for you. Sekhmet, give me your strength!" Pharaoh commanded as his head changed into a lion's. He then went to the bars to bend them, when he was suddenly kicked in the gut by Cat Noir, pushing him back before Pharaoh was forced to guard from an attack from Alix's lance, breaking his left wristband!
"How nice of you to hold the door open for us." Cat Noir said as a cyan portal closed behind him and Alix. "Now why don't you put those relics back and give us your Akuma before things get ugly." Alix told Pharaoh as he was rubbing his wrist. "I refuse to surrender to you, Bast and Lagomorpha! Seth, give me violence!" He commanded as his head became a cross between an aardvark's with jackal ears before a spear made of two khopeshes connected at the pommels appeared in his hand! In response, Cat Noir's staff turned into a spear before they attacked! Pharaoh jumped back as Alix thrusted forward just before he hooked the lance and separated the swords! Before Pharaoh could strike Alix's side, Cat Noir intercepted the strike with his spear and forced Pharaoh to lock the spear down with both blades before he stomped his left leg! Staggered, Cat Noir was then thrown into an open sarcophagus, forcing it shut as Alix attempted to strike Pharaoh in the back, but he managed to duck underneath and struck her side! "Sekhmet, give me your strength!" He commanded as he then punched Alix into a wall! "I'll be sure to finish you all off after Nefertiti is brought back." "This is Mega crazy! Keep your eyes peeled!" Alya said, getting Pharaoh's attention as he then walked up to her before crouching down. "Your face. Fate has placed you on my path. Come with me!" Pharaoh said before he slings her over his shoulder as she futilely flails. "Hey! Hands off the threads! I can walk myself!" Alya shouted as Ladybug woke up and saw Pharaoh walk away with the papyrus, scepter, and Alya! "H-hey! Let her go!" Ladybug demanded as she got back up with a headache and ran to the bars, only for Pharaoh to straighten the bars, behind him, back! "And don't forget! All the latest behind-the-scenes are on my blog!" Alya shouted as Cat Noir launched the lid of the sarcophagus off before exiting! "No! He got away with everything he needs!" He shouted as he ran to the bars before Alix walked over, holding her side as blood came out. "Your side-" "It's okay. I got it." Alix claimed as she pulled out her brush and pressed it to the wound, causing it to light up and burn the cut as she winced from the pain. "Now, what're we waiting for? Let's get some more space." She said as she looked to Cat Noir, who nodded. "Cataclysm." He said as he touched the bars, causing them to rust and fall apart. "So I assume you knew where to go due to Alya's livestream?" "Uh, yeah." Ladybug lied as she opened up her Yo-yo, revealing it to work as a screen, showing Alya still being carried. "Hi, everyone! Alya here, still livestreaming from the shoulder of the terrifying villain! Huge scoop to come, stay tuned!" She told the viewers. "This is bad. He has the powers of Sekhmet, Seth, and presumably every other Egyptian deity alongside a hostage." "Then we'll need to work together to defeat him." Ladybug said as Cat Noir's miraculous beeped. "I'll need to recharge my Miraculous if we're gonna have a chance. Go ahead, but be careful, he may have left a trap or two." He told them before they parted.
Now outside of the Louvre, Pharaoh turned to face the building before dropping Alya. "On to the next phase. Anubis, bring me mummies!" He commanded as his head turned into a jackal's before shooting lasers out of his eyes that turned the surrounding people into mummies, terrifying Alya! "Soon we'll be together again, my Nefertiti! My long-lost love!" "Uh, excuse me, Pharaoh, but what exactly is going on here?" Alya asked as she moved her phone around to capture some footage. "I'm going to carry out a secret spell to bring Nefertiti back." "Gotcha! You're talking about the spell on the papyrus, right?" "Correct. It takes 100 mummies and the offering for it to work!" He states as Alya then looks confused. "What offering?" "To persuade the sun god Ra into giving me back my sweet princess, I must give him something in return. A pure soul!" Pharaoh informed Alya. "Dude, that's hard to come by." "Why do you think I brought you here?" He asked rhetorically before he cackled, causing Alya to be fully fearful!
"A hundred mummies and a sacrifice? Where have I heard that before?" "Hold on, Alya!" Ladybug said as she left Alix behind as she was thinking. "Wait!" She shouted too late as Ladybug wound up running into a bubble! "Idiot." Alix muttered before she pulled the handle of her lance out, revealing a rapier, before she popped the bubble, freeing her. "Ladybug, did you hear?! I'm the sacrificial offering to the sun god! Please hurry!" "Hold on, Alya." Ladybug said again right before she was suckerpunched by Alix! "Ow! What the heck, Bunnix?!" "Are you trying to get yourself killed?! You can't keep going off half-cocked! We NEED to figure out his full power or we stand no chance!" Bunnix told Ladybug, causing her to groan while holding her cheek. "We don't have time for this!" "You better make time then! Now, judging by the properties of these bubbles, I think he used Thoth's powers." She told Ladybug before throwing her sword at one of the bubbles, trapping it as it started moving slowly. "They say he was credited with creating many things, like hieroglyphics and the calendar. Even had control over time and space." Bunnix informed Ladybug as she walked up to the bubble and popped it with her lance, causing the rapier to fly freely.
"Thanks again, Adrien." "It's no problem." Adrien told Mr. Kubdel as he sheathed his sword after cutting down some bars before he walked out. "Sir, Pharaoh is trying to use the papyrus to bring back Nefertiti. Can you tell me how we can stop it exactly?" "Pharaoh? Jalil!" Mr. Kubdel said, realizing who it was! "He's using a hundred mummies and a human sacrifice to open a portal of sorts." Adrien told Mr. Kubdel, causing him to look on in fear. "Oh no." "What is it? Tell me!" "I'll tell you on the way outside, we have to move now!" He told Adrien, causing him to turn to Plagg, who was sitting on a bench while savoring a piece of Camembert cheese. "Plagg, scarf that down, we gotta go!" "Oh man." Plagg said as he then popped the whole thing in his mouth. "Plagg, Claws out!" He shouted as he transformed, now with armored legs and boots!
At the stairway leading outside, the group got back together. "Cat, who is that?" "There's no time! We have to stop my son before it's too late!" Mr. Kubdel told Ladybug, causing her to look surprised before she steeled herself. "Okay, but you have to get to safety." "If he succeeds, no one anywhere will be safe nor spared!" He told her before running up the stairs! "What's going on?!" "Long story, short. That spell isn't to bring back Nefertiti, but a great evil. Now come on!" Cat Noir told her before following Mr. Kubdel, getting her to notice his armored legs before she and Bunnix followed. At the top, Mr. Kubdel stopped and hid back down when he noticed the mummies standing at the entrance with their backs to it. "Not that way." He muttered as everyone caught up to him. "I can't see her or Pharaoh." Ladybug whispered before Cat Noir looked to Bunnix and nodded. "Burrow." She said as she created a portal behind them. "Everybody in, but don't look at anything."
Moments later, they found themselves on the roof of a building near the louvre as they now saw fourty eight of the mummies forming the shape on an ankh with Pharaoh and Alya inside.
As Alya struggled to get out of Pharaoh's grip, she noticed images of an Egyptian-styled Ladybug, Garo, and an Egyptian-styled Bunnix on the backside, fighting a giant Horror in front of a portal through the sunlight! "Woah, back up! Who are those god-like guys, on the papyrus's back?" Alya asked as Pharaoh looked at her confused before she turned his head to the papyrus as he seemed to notice it too before he turned it around. "The Golden Knight: Garo. Back then, he was known as the prince of knights due to his powers being second to only one other. He rallied Ladybug and Lagomorpha to stop me from carrying out the ritual 5000 years ago, even slew the beast that aided me. But this time, they will not stop me!" "Did you say… Ladybug and the others are 5000 years old?!"
"So that's what Tikki was talking about." "Didn't Tikki tell you that Miraculouses were passed down from generation-to-generation?" Cat Noir asked as Ladybug looked to him in surprise when the sky suddenly went dark as not even the stars or moon were out! "Oh no, it's happening." Mr. Kubdel said in fear as Bunnix looked at him. "What's going on?" "That ritual was used to seal away a Horror called Degol. In olden days, he was one of the most terrifyingly powerful beings in the world, capable of unspeakable atrocities. The last time he was defeated in combat was indeed 5000 years ago, but it took more than your three predecessors to stop him. That ritual Jalil is conducting was used to seal him away so that a new generation could have the power to stop him properly." He explained as the three then looked at each other. "Then we either have to stop that ritual, or hope that we're that generation." Ladybug said as Pharaoh, whom now had a frog head, properly began the ritual. "Oh, sacred Ra, god of the sun, I Pharaoh, offer to thee a pure soul! The sacrifice for the return of Nefertiti!" Pharaoh shouted as the scepter's core glowed and fired a bright beam of light at the louvre, causing it to light up and redirect the light into the sky, in turn creating a vortex that expanded to equal size! "Anhani lak wa'uqadim hadhih alhadiat mae mumya'ait! Bisahbatina, nadeu lakum bialeawdat alaminat lil'amirat Nefertiti! Astayqizi ya Nefertiti! Astayqizi!" Pharaoh said in Arabic as four of the mummies held Alya up and started carrying her to the pyramids! "LADYBUG!" Alya screamed out in fear!
"We've gotta save her before he completes the ritual, or Alya will be lost, forever!" "Forget Alya, the entire city's at stake!" Cat Noir retorts as Ladybug gets up. "Then it's settled, you guys hold off the mummies while I take on the Pharaoh." Ladybug tells them and is about to leave when Cat Noir grabs her arm. "Do you have a death wish? Two experienced holders could only slow him down, much less stop him!" "Then I'll just have to do better. Let go!" She tells him before he grabs her stomach and slams her onto the floor behind him! "This is not a game! Degol is a Horror, and they don't care about the Miraculous! If we slip up, everyone dies!" He tells Ladybug as she looks at him in shock! "This isn't about bolstering egos, this is about stopping a great evil." He stated calmly before slowing letting Ladybug go and looking to Mr. Kubdel. "Alim, call in everyone. We need to hit him with everything we got." He tells Alim, who nods and gets right on it. "A… wait what's your hero name? But more importantly, try to transport the mummies somewhere they'll stay out of harm's way. The less fuel, the better." "It's Bunnix for now, and yes sir." Bunnix said as she readied herself. "Now we go after Pharaoh." He told Ladybug as she got back up, looking angry at him. "Fine. Just don't ever do that again." Ladybug said as she, Cat Noir, and Bunnix stood over the ledge before leaping off!
"Astayqizi ya Nefertiti. Astayqizi." The mummies said in unison. "JALIL!" Bunnix yelled out, getting pharaoh's attention along with the mummies. "DON'T DO THIS, JALIL! THE PRICE IS GREATER THAN YOU REALIZE!" "Seize her!" Pharaoh ordered as the forty eight other mummies ran at her. "How about you guys cool off in the slammer. Burrow!" Bunnix shouted as she created a portal in front of herself, causing the mummies to fall in and appear in the police station cells! "No!" "Can't hide behind your minions now, Jalil! Now let's talk this out before more innocent people get hurt, or worse." Bunnix told Pharaoh, trying to negotiate with him. "You think I'm a fool?! In fact, this smells…" he paused as his eyes widened as he turned around to see Ladybug and Cat Noir performing a flying kick at him! "OF A TRAP!" Pharaoh was able to yell out before he was kicked in the face by the latter and in the stomach by the former! The kicks sent Pharaoh back a few meters before Cat Noir rushes him with his scythe before swinging it to gain momentum and strikes just as Pharaoh attempts to block the blow with his right wristband, shattering it while forcing him to the ground! Meanwhile, Ladybug ran to Alya before she grabbed her hand and swung her yo-yo at a building, pulling them away from the fight and onto the building as Pharaoh noticed! "Horus-" he was about to command when he was suddenly chopped in the throat causing him to cough violently before buckling down to his knees! "Don't even think about it." Cat Noir ordered as Bunnix walked over to Pharaoh. "Jalil, please, listen to reason. That spell will only lead to devastation." She pleaded as Pharaoh started to breathe heavily. "Why… should I, how do you know-?" "It's me, Jalil, your sister." Bunnix told Pharaoh, causing him to look at her in shock. "Please. I know you've poured your soul into this for months, but you have to stop. Even if this ritual was what you thought, it's not right to kill a hundred and one people just to resurrect one." She told him as Hawkmoth's symbol appeared on his face. "Don't listen to her, she's trying to trick you!" "I don't know what Hawkmoth is telling you, but he's lying. He has no idea what the spell is supposed to do, in fact the only one who does is father. But we don't need him to know how to stop it before the exchange." Bunnix informed Pharaoh as he lowered his head, seemingly attempting to process what she said. "Khnum…" Pharaoh whispered before he slowly got onto foot. "Show me water!" He commanded loudly just after he jumped into the air, surprising Cat Noir and Bunnix as he turned into a watery version of himself with a ram's head before he slithered to the building Ladybug was now at!
Moments earlier, Ladybug had gotten Alya to the roof where Alim was. ""Hurry, Zero, I don't want this to drag on longer than necessary." Alim told Rei on the phone before hanging up just before Alya pointed her phone at Ladybug. "Peeps, you just witnessed another-hey!" She suddenly said as Alim snatched her phone and snapped it in two. "Dude, that's censorship!" "It's keeping the most damaging secret buried. You've already revealed the existence of Garo to the world, and I don't want anymore to discover the terror that might show." He told Alya as Ladybug nodded. "He's right. That ritual has activated a two-way portal. And the only way to shut it is to capture his Akuma." "And the only way to get it is if you smash the pendant he's wearing." Alya informed them. "Alright, now we know how to end this." "LOOK OUT!" Alya screamed as Pharaoh returned to a solid state and rammed into Ladybugs rib cage, throwing her off the building, forcing her to throw her Yo-yo into the wall of it to slow down her fall! "Jalil! Stop this!" Alim shouted before he grabbed Pharaoh's charging horns, stopping him in his tracks! "Horus, give me your Wings!" He commanded as the light blinded Alim, giving him a chance to grab Alya and fly to the beam! "HELP ME, LADYBUG!" "All mummies, crush those insects!" Pharaoh, now with a falcon's head, shouted as the four available mummies began to surround Ladybug before he pleaded Alya onto the beam, lifting her to the vortex which is also causing an tendrils made of smoke to begin descending down!
Meanwhile, Alim jumped down and landed onto a mummy to break his fall before he created a whip from his Brush and tripped up one of the mummies that was surrounding Ladybug! She then used this opening to sprint away from the four mummies just before they were snatched up by the tendrils, lifting them into the vortex. "No!" "We need to lead them away from here, but how?!" Alim asked as Ladybug spotted an open bus and got an idea. "Cat Noir, this way! I got an idea!" She shouted to Cat Noir, who was throwing one mummy into another mummy, as she pointed to the bus before she ran to it! After Cat Noir nods, he extends his staff and trips up ten mummies surrounding him before sprinting to the bus as most of the remaining mummies chased after him! Reaching the bus, Ladybug stopped halfway through one of the doors as Cat Noir slides underneath the whole bus, letting forty mummies now go after Ladybug as she ran inside and lets them enter the bus before she jumped out the second door, closing it behind her while using her yo-yo to close the first door, trapping them! Afterwards, Cat Noir angled his staff to brace against the bus before extending it, causing the bus to fall onto its side! "All that's left now is Pharaoh!" Ladybug stated as everyone rushed Pharaoh, who had returned to default. "You will not stop me from bringing Nefertiti back. I'll finish you off myself! Anubis, bring me mummies!" He commanded as he summoned his Anubis face and began firing beams at Ladybug and Cat Noir, getting them to dodge until Ladybug used her yo-yo to tie up Pharaoh as Cat Noir pole vaulted over him and onto the pyramid before running up to Alya! "Horus, give me your-" "Not so fast!" Ailm states as he puts Pharaoh in a chokehold!
Reaching the top, Cat Noir turns his staff into a spear and stabs it into the structure before using it to boost him to Alya and grabs her. "So, where do you stand on the debate of black cats being bad luck?" "Eh, just a superstitious stereotype." Alya answered as a smoke-covered hand big enough to their whole bodies reached out. "That's my que." He simply says as he slides down with Alya in tow, narrowly escaping Degol's clutches!
Seeing this, Pharaoh began to struggle harder against the string while attempting to throw Ailm off, only for him to fall into a small portal, causing his body to get stuck halfway as Cat Noir landed with Alya. "Bunnix, get her out of here." He ordered as Bunnix created a portal, noticeably smaller than normal but big enough for Alya to jump through. "Even now. Even when there is proof, you'll still do whatever it takes to get your way!" "I'm sorry, but you have to believe me when I say-" " "The spell is wrong"?! Why should I?! You never listen to me, even when mom passed away!" Pharaoh shouted, leaving Ailm shocked before he was finally able to throw him off! "I will resurrect Nefertiti, or die trying! PETBE, BRING ME-" "THIS ISN'T ABOUT NEFERTITI!" Ailm yells out as he lays on the ground, causing Pharaoh to stop and look at him in shock. "This was never about Nefertiti, was it?" He asked, realizing why Jalil was doing all this. "No. Not her, anyway." Pharaoh confirmed as he began to look ashamed. Seeing this, Ailm positioned himself to sit down. "You're right, I never did listen to you. Even when Ellana was around." "I just never understood why you weren't thrilled with seeing her again. Didn't you love her?" He asked as his voice began to shake. "Of course I do, always. That's why I want to keep my last memories of her as that, to preserve her memory." Ailm explained somberly as Pharaoh began to shed tears. Unfortunately, the moment was ruined bellowing growl came from the vortex as it was pried open from the inside before the tendrils latched onto the bus full of mummies and brought it into the vortex!
"NO!" Ladybug screamed in horror as a mangled bus was dropped from the vortex, threatening to fall on them! "Sekhmet, give me your strength!" Pharaoh commanded as he forced himself free and caught the bus as Ailm braced himself! After tossing it away from everyone, Hawkmoth's symbol appeared again. "Yes! You're free now. Now take their Miraculouses, the earrings and the finger ring!" "No, something's wrong. I… I think he was right!" Pharaoh told Hawkmoth just as Degol emerged from the vortex in a thick veil of smoke.

As everyone looked on in horror, the smoke suddenly bursted into a torrent of fire, revealing a sickly centaur-like dragon with three tails that had crystal orbs on the end! "It can't be." Ailm said in disbelief as Degol lets out a roar before proceeding to fire bolts of lightning from his tails, forcing everyone to retreat! "Run, you fools! For there is no place to hide." Degol declared as he shot lightning at them, only for Bunnix and Ailm to use their Brushes to generate a shield with Makai Ruins to deflect the lightning before it shattered! They then attempted to retaliate with two energy bolts, which did nothing! "A tickle. Let me return the favor." He said as Degol then breathed black fire at them, forcing them to scatter to avoid the flames as Cat Noir pulled off a part of his staff, turning it into a sword before he drew a circle in the air to become Garo!

"JALIL! LIGHT 'EM UP!" Garo yelled out to Pharaoh as Ladybug threw her yo-yo into the air! "Ra, bring me the sun!" "Lucky Charm!" Pharaoh and Ladybug shouted respectfully, only for nothing to happen to either. "What?!" The latter said in shock as Garo saw this and rushed Degol as the two ornaments on his chest turned into small barbs before they launched and latched onto Degol's left wing! This gets Degol's attention as he began to fly lower to the ground as he swung a tail at Garo! "Sekhmet, strength!" Pharaoh commanded as he ran to intercept the attack and caught the tail, forcing it in place! Garo then let the hooks real him closer before cutting the base of the wing off, genuinely harming Degol!

"You will suffer for this, Golden Knight!" Degol shouted in fury as whipped Pharaoh off and proceeded to fire at Garo, forcing him to jump into the air as he then parried a blow from the second tail! Unfortunately, he was knocked into the Louvre as Pharaoh got back up. "All of you will die here!" Degol declared as he then raised all three tails into the air and merged three lightning bolts into a huge dome of electricity, electrocuting everyone as Degol laughed like a maniac!

As everyone, other than Garo, began to fall to their knees, Pharaoh was able to hold out, only on one knee! "Ra, god of the sun... I. I beg of thy, answer my plea… AND REVEAL THE LIGHT TO VICTORY!" He yelled out as his head flashed before he fell unconscious, revealing a falcon's head with a golden orb with a cobra wrapped around it on his head just before he reverted back to Jalil!

Just then, a bright light began to pierce the blanket of darkness as Degol noticed this and turned to the sky, stopping his assault! "No! It can't be! YOU BLOTTED THE SUN!" Degol roared in denial as night returned to day!
Moments later, Cat Noir woke up in a daze, spotting almost everyone unconscious, save for Ailm, who was coming too. "Mr. Kubdel. Are you alright?" Cat Noir asked while hobbled over to Alim as he was now back up. "Partially burnt, smelling like I need… paprika, but other than that, I'll live." He claimed as they then heard coughing from Bunnix, as she woke up in a daze. "Ugh, that was terrible." She said as she carefully got back up before she noticed Jalil was back to normal and Degol was unconscious. "It's almost over, I see." "All that's left now is to finish off Degol and dispose of the Akuma." Zaruba said as Bunnix shaked Ladybug awake. "Uhhh, five more minutes." Ladybug whined before her eyes slowly opened, spotting Bunnix. "Gah! You're not mom! What's going on?!" She shouted as she looked around in a panic! "No time to recap, we need you to restore everything so we can defeat Degol for good!" Bunnix informed her before pulling her up. "Okay, just give me a second." She asked before pulling out her yo-yo and throwing it into the air. "Lucky Charm!" She shouted before the yo-yo created a red with polka dotted hearing aid. "A hearing aid? But my hearing is just fine." Ladybug stated as she caught the hearing aid and placed it into her right ear to test it. Just then, she heard something big slide behind Degol, alerting her. "Guys, he's not asleep!" She shouted to the three right before one of Degol's tails sprung up and swatted the, now free and airborne, Akuma out of the sky as Degol stretched his neck out to devour it in one bite, surprising everyone as he rose from his spot! "I may be weakened by the sun, but it will take more than that to stop me." "NOW, LADYBUG!" Ailm called out, queuing Ladybug to remove the hearing aid and throw it into the air! "Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouted as the object turned into a swarm of ladybugs as they flew around and restored everything damaged, and everyone injured! "Great, back to 100%. And now you're done for!" Bunnix told Degol, only getting a laugh out of him. "You are all fools if you think that will be enough!" He declared when he was suddenly hit from the side of his head by an explosive disc, disorienting Degol!

As everyone looked behind, they saw Zero, Giru, Pierre, Sarah, Sakura, & Edred, with the very latter holding a rectangular launcher in both hands! "Did someone order the calvary?" Zero asked rhetorically just before he threw his combined swords as the three Priests fired energy bolts at Degol, pushing him back! "About time you got here, Zero." "Sorry, officer Roger blocked the roads leading here." Zero explained as he then caught his blades like a boomerang before throwing it at Degol again. "That won't be enough. We need to hit him with-" "Something more?" Giru asked as he pulled out a roll of ten pencils that resembled Madō Brushes, causing Ailm to chuckle a bit. "How did I see this coming?" Ailm asked rhetorically as the former held the roll with one hand and pulled out a Brush with white hairs with the other. Upon activating, the pencils flew to Ailm, queuing him to knock nine of them into the air, causing them to form a large ring of fire, before catching the tenth one! "Cat Noir! Get in position!" He shouted to Cat Noir as he re-transformed into Garo while Ladybug realized what Ailm meant. "You want him to jump into the fire? You'd have to be insane to do that!" Ladybug stated just before Garo jumped up to the ring just as Ailm tossed the Madō Pencil into the air before Giru struck it like a baseball, causing it to burst into flames as it reaches Garo, creating a phoenix around him before it turned green and was absorbed into the armor! As the phoenix was absorbed, Garo began to show characteristics of the bird; fiery wings, talons on his feet, and the fur-like details becoming more feral and tipped with red, orange, and green!

As Degol saw Garo's new form, he snarled before attempting to electrocute everyone again, only for Garo to block a part of the attack with a shield made of green fire and ram into the side of his jaw, making Degol stop his attack as he was staggered! "I will cut away your Inga, Degol. now." Garo declared with an ominously calm voice as he drew his sword, which was now on fire! This causes Degol to yell in rage as he then breathed fire on him as Garo barrel rolled out of the way before slicing off his right arm! He then flew to the back as he extended his wings into long blades just as Degol's tails attempted to impact Garo, only for them to be cut off as he spun around, causing Degol to screech in pain as he then ran from Garo for a moment to gain distance! "TASTE A PLAGUE OF HATE, GARO!" Degol screamed as he began to emit a violent and unstable aura of black and red before firing it from his mouth! In response, Garo began to fly straight into the blast as he picked up speed before becoming a green diving phoenix made of fire and proceeded to collide with the beam! Before Ladybug could try and get involved, Ailm held a hand out for her to stop. "Don't. The Phoenix Flame Spell is capable of incinerating anything and everything, and coupled with Garo's armor, I believe the only thing that can stop him now, is his limit." He informed Ladybug as they then saw Garo begin to push through as he glowed brighter! Just then, the phoenix turned into a dart as Garo overtook the beam and flew straight through Degol's mouth before proceeding to flip forward and slice him in half with a wave of fire! "I… impossi… ble." Degol said as he disintegrated into nothing, just as Garo fell to the ground and reverted back to Cat Noir.
"He did it. He actually did it!" "Yes. But unfortunately, for you and everyone else, you won't remember it this way." Pierre told Ladybug, causing her to turn to him. But before she could ask him anything, he placed a tag on her face, causing Ladybug to suddenly blackout as everyone looked at her before Zero, sighed before turning into Rei. "I am sorry, my niece."
At dusk, Adrien, Eiji, Alix, and Ailm were standing outside of the Agreste manor as Alix was now wearing a black duster with metal paddings on the shoulder area and imitation hair around the collar, a pair of lime green bracers, and steel-toe boots. "That was the most stressful thing in my life." "I couldn't agree more. And I can't thank you enough for everything you did." Ailm said before he then turned his attention to Eiji. "Also. I wasn't going to say anything earlier, but why do you have a Madō Brush?" He asked as Eiji paused for a moment before pulling out the Brush. "It belonged to someone I… cared about. Deeply enough to, luckily, get me stuck here. She died of an illness and I tried to use a forbidden relic to bring her back, though I'm sure you already knew that part." Eiji explained as he placed the Brush back into his coat. "Actually. I was never informed of that." Ailm informed Eiji, surprising him. "What? How do you not know this? The senate should have informed you of my attempt to free Eyrith!" "You see, that is new information to us." Alix told Eiji before he sighed in annoyance.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Gabriel was watching before he turned around, seeing Jinga and Barago fencing lightly. "Why didn't you tell me that ritual was to seal that… thing?!" "And miss the fun it ensued? Not on your life, Hawk-y." "In order to defeat Garo and obtain the powers of Gemini, we must take risks now and again. Trust me when I say: fighting him directly is a bad idea for you." Jinga and Barago said respectively, irritating Gabriel. "Just… warn me next time, and I'll decide what to do next."

Hours later, Marinette was in her bed with Tikki sitting on top of the open history book Marinette lost. "I don't get it. I know I'm not 5000 years old, and I know Cat Noir said that his Miraculous was passed down to the next generation, but who was that Ladybug in the papyrus?" "Like Cat Noir's, me and my Miraculous have always been around for eons." Tikki told Marinette as she looked at the image of the papyrus that was in the book. "Then you were around since ancient Egypt?" "Well, not exactly. I'm actually much older than that. I'm an ageless being of life and creation who has watched over every single Ladybug since my jewel's construction." Tikki explained before Marinette began to look saddened. "You must've known much less klutzy Ladybugs than me, right? Smarter, stronger." She asked as Tikki hovered off the book. "I'm not gonna lie, Marinette. Every Ladybug is different one way or another, each one with a different flaw. But they also had a great strength of their own, like your ability to think on the fly!" She told Marinette, making her smile before she kissed Tikki's forehead. "Thanks, Tikki. Now to get some sleep, I have a history test tomorrow." "Hmhm. Good thing it's on Ancient Egypt." Tikki said humorously as Marinette closes the book.

Note: This is the episode where Adrien has slain his 100th Horror! A legendary Apostle Horror, but a Horror nevertheless. In addition, I gave Jalil a better reason for researching the spell of the papyrus instead of an obsession, and an extension to the powers Pharaoh can use in his arsenal (I did a lot of research on the Egyptian gods that were and weren't mentioned(also like to add that Horus would still give him the ability to fly and PETBE would allow him to reflect any damage done to him back at the respective opponents, including Hawkmoth's possession if needed.)). And before I forget, after Ladybug was rendered unconscious, her memories were altered to resemble what happened during the actual episode, only Cat Noir prioritized saving Alya. And Garo's temporary form resembles Saejima Kouga's Tsubasabito form and Goki's Tenshou form (blame Garo Wiki for the new name).
