Before I could ask, he saw through the holographic image. The situation caused joy in one and terror in the other.

In the Jedi temple, the place was completely invaded, killing the Jedi masters they found in their path and the young Padawan children who were left defenseless.

Anakin felt the darkness inside him increase, due to the helplessness of not being able to do anything to protect them.

"Stop this Palpatine!" Anakin shouted angrily, but Sidious just laughed casually.

A few hours have passed since the execution of order 66, thousands of Jedi were killed. Anakin only hoped that Obi-wan was still alive.

Sidious had left Anakin alone for a few moments, so that he could think about the mistake he had made by not accepting to be by his side, and about his betrayal, which was the cause of him being locked up in the Jedi temple for days.

Anakin felt so helpless over Sidious's actions. A new fear arises in him, and it was for Padme's life. The fear that his visions could come true.

Coming to feel the dark presence of Sidious approaching, he clenched his mental shields tightly despite the dyad bond.

With a smile on his face at his victory, ready to gloat, he looked Anakin straight in the eyes and just said "No masks Anakin…without her once and for all." Sidious said in a tone full of evil. Anakin said with disappointment and sadness. "Obi-wan was right, the Sith don't change."

Sidious only responded reluctantly, agreeing with the Jedi master "I was right... The dark side is a disease that no true Sith would want to be cured of...
