"What is this?! It appears that our resident bone-breaker was holding out on us, the battle of speed over strength has changed somehow. Iida is being pressured into relying on his speed, but Midoriya is not giving any room for a counter. What a display of fortitude from these two."

"And there we have it folks, the first strike to land in this bout, and what a fight it has been."

"... And Iida seems to be moving after that nasty blow to the jaw. Can he find a way to come back or is this the beginning of the end for our speedster."

"Your winner Izuku Midoriya!"

"What's with your class Eraser? It is like they were all giving everything they had from the very beginning, even in this round every match with a class A rep fight was like this one in a lot of ways, what have you been feeding them, what kind of juice, what kind of training are they doing, how many push-ups."

"This is not the result of any kind of training, their resolve to get the job done is purely from their own experiences. They know what it takes to be a hero in this world and what needs to be done, that's it. I am proud to count myself among their teachers."

"What, Miko?" Kazue looked at her blonde friend who was now giving her the meanest pout as the two finished their meals.

Mikoto kicked the air in her chair, clearly annoyed. "Why did you have to be right? And you know how I feel about a good fight. I wanted to cheer him on, I wanted to see how strong he was and you said that he was going to win easily."

The maroon-headed girl looked her friend over and shrugged. "I never said anything about that, I just said he was going to win and he was hiding something for later rounds. How would I know that Midoriya was going to use another side of his Quirk? How was I supposed to know?"

Mikoto let out a dry chuckle before grabbing their containers. "Just pulling your leg, Kazue, but we are not missing any more matches. We still have the first and second-year joined events on day three. Can't wait to see the look on their faces when they find out about it." She said while throwing away the containers in the bins. After completing the action she returned to the bench they were sitting at. "We have got some time before the semis, what do you want to do?"

"Did you just?" She looked at Mikoto confused for a couple of seconds before being clued in that she meant Izuku Midoriya's matches. "Whatever, you want to check out what the support course is doing."

"Of course you would." Mikoto responded with a teasing grin.

Kazue looked genuinely put out by the comment, she then put a small smile on her face before replying. "You say that but... I wasn't the one who was complaining like a child after getting their toy taken away."

"Hey, I was serious about what I said. I like teasing you, sure, but that first-year scratches at that part of the brain just right, you know." Mikoto began as the pair left the area for another set of stalls.

"Ew…"

"Hey, there is nothing wrong in liking really strong dudes." Mikoto retorted, letting out her tongue. "Also the same reason I'm with you miss I bend gravity to my whims with that busted ass Quirk of yours."

"Wow… And here I thought you liked me for my personality." Kazue joked with Mikoto. The two of them got going, their objective clear in mind. It did not take long to leave the food stalls behind as they headed for the area in the parking lot of the stadium dedicated to the support students, but in their haste, Mikoto bumped into someone seemingly in a rush for the stalls before the collision. Kazue backed up a bit as both people dropped to the ground.

"Sorry…"

"My bad.."

"No, really it's my fault." A blonde woman in a mini skirt and suit jacket said being the first of the two to get up, offering the other blonde a hand.

Mikoto took the woman's hand dusting herself off, She watched as the woman readjusted her glasses before speaking. "It might have been mine. I am not in the best head space right now." She said bowing to the woman.

The woman waved her hands in front face, apologizing even further. She then produced a business card from her person handing it over to the teen. "No it's definitely my fault, I was in a rush. By the way, do you know Izuku Midoriya by chance?"

Both teens paused at that, a stranger asking for their kouhai in a normal situation was one thing but ever since said Midoriya's class was attacked not even a month ago made the pair suspicious, not giving too much away Mikoto answered. "I'm afraid I don't know much about him, outside the fact he is my kouhai, there's a... Sort of separation when it comes to classes not to mention the year difference. I am sorry that I couldn't help." She finished, on edge despite her current inviting demeanor.

The woman smiled, returning the gesture. "That's fine, I was just a little interested." The woman then looked at the screen of her phone before bowing to Mikoto again. "Look at the time, I have some business at UA I need to attend to, please call me if you ever need anything." She spoke running off.

Mikoto handed the card over to Kazue as she watched the woman enter the area for the food stalls in the direction of the parking lot. "I guess we have more competition." She said, eyeing her friend from the corner of her vision.

Kazue took the card confused before being in mild shock at what was written on it. The card, the contact information of the newish hero Mount Lady, handing her back the card she replied. "What do you want to do about it, Miko?"

"Simple my dear Kazue..." She said with her hands on her hips in a dramatic fashion posing. "Show the first years a real fight in the last event and put on a show. I hope they will be able to keep up."

For the first time since the round began, Izuku returned to his seat in the stadium, sitting next to Ochako. The girl quickly greeted him happy that his mood had improved, though he was now sporting a new notebook with him that seemed to have been damaged by fire. She would ask him about it, Izuku replying concisely. "Oh, this?..." He opened up the notebook to the last page that had the number one's autograph on it. "It's the only thing I had when I first met All Might, so it kind of became..." He did not know how to say this so he just powered on. "A treasure of mine."

Ochako smiled at his response but the question of why he was using it now if it was that important to him entered her mind. "Ah, but what happened to the one you had earlier?" She questioned her friend.

Izuku internally flinched, he did not like lying to his friends and the fact that he had lent his new notebook to Momo was a subject that he could not comment on, not that the action itself, but the fact that she had confided in him a great number of times including just minutes ago when he was with her getting ready for her next match and lent her Hero Analysis for the Future No. 14 along with the first 7 as she wanted to read up on both hers and Tokoyami's entries to get ideas to how to tackle her match as well as a pep talk from him. Being brought to the present Izuku went to answer but was interrupted by the sound of Present Mic announcing the next match.

"In our next match, we have a crowd favorite in the young lady of creation Momo Yaoyorozu…" Present Mic paused as the girl entered the arena ready for battle. Some groans came from the crowd as the jacket of her PE uniform was zipped up in clear contrast to her earlier appearances. With Mic clearing his throat in annoyance at the groans that were mixed in with the cheers Momo made it to the center of the ring with more focus than she had displayed in the earlier rounds. "And her opponent is the resurrection of the dark knight Fumikage Tokoyami." He was not surprised as the avian-headed teen got a mixed reaction.

Fumikage made it to the center of the ring he noticed as his opponent had her hands behind her back offering him a smile. He was taken back to the action but readied himself regardless. Midnight calls for their match to begin, and Fumikage counting on her analytical mind rushes in to catch her off guard, summoning Dark Shadow for the attack. What he did not count on however was her hopping out of the range for the first couple of strikes that Dark Shadow had made, the sentient mass of shadows and Fumikage were surprised by the clattering of Matryoshka dolls designed after Izuku on the hard concrete of the ring in front of their opponent who was now putting on a pair sunglasses.

Back in the stands, Izuku covers his seatmate Ochako's eyes, closing his own in the process. A blinding sequence of flashing lights fills the stadium. The ones closest to the ring were most affected as shouts of discomfort and pain were heard. When the second or third loud bang Momo rushed past Dark Shadow and straight for Fumikage, an arrow-shaped shield materializing to cover her exposed forearm and hand as a half metal half wood Bo staff came out the same appendage's palm. Before her opponent could recover he was hit on the side of his head knocking him to the ground, she was quick to mount him with her Bo staff turning into a rifle. As Fumikage began to Recover he came face to barrel with Momo's rifle as she cocked the gun while straddling him.

Dark Shadow wasn't taking this lying down, the shadowy mass rushed to move the girl from on top of its master. Momo however was ready, quickly spinning the barrel of the gun to point over her shoulder she let off a shot as Dark Shadow was upon her. The bang of the bullet being fired resonated in the stadium as the spectators were all silent. Dark Shadow lost a good portion of its beak as it shied away from the battling teens after letting out a squawk in surprise. "Surrender?" Momo questioned her classmate after twirling the gun onto him.

Fumikage had no choice as he nodded and signaled to Midnight that he had lost by tapping the surface of the ring. Midnight called the match in Momo's favor, the silence of the crowd following. It took a second for anyone other than the participants and a smiling Izuku to process what just happened. It was slow at first but soon a solid procession of cheers took over the festival. "Excuse my language but… WHAT IN THE HELL was that?" Present Mic proclaimed from the commentator's booth while Momo stood in the middle of the applause cheerfully waving at the section of the crowd that one 1-A was in, looking at one person in particular. "It looks like we are going to have one of the most stacked Semi-Finals in U.A. history." He then turned to his broadcast partner. "Be Honest with me Eraser, what have you been teaching these kids? The earlier rounds seemed to be a formality for your class, and as time went on they seemed to fight harder and harder. This is probably the first time that a single class has shown so much heart, and I didn't think it possible but I don't think this is the peak."

Eraserhead groaned as Present Mic went on. "I have said it before but I haven't done anything special with them. What may come from today's events is purely through their own efforts."

"Come on Eraser…" The other presenter failed to break Eraserhead out of his shell. "Anyhow we are going to take a short thirty-minute break in the action as the eliminated students participate in some games, don't go anywhere."

All of the students vacated the stands as those who were not still in the tournament went to get ready for what the sports festival had in store for them, but as soon as everyone began to leave Izuku was stopped by Ochako. "How do you know what Yaoyorozu was going to do?" She asked as she thought back to the moment when Izuku had shielded her from Momo's flashbangs, the smile on his face as she won, as well as him not taking notes in this match at all.

Izuku scratched his head not knowing how to answer, he stuck to the truth with the failure of admission that he and Momo had come up with the strategy together. "I already know the weakness in Tokoyami's Quirk, and I knew that Mo-Yaoyorozu would be able to figure it out too." Izuku finished with a neutral expression, his friend noticed the blunder he had made with their classmate's name but did not say a thing.

After splitting away from his class Izuku returned to the prep room that he was in with Momo before her match. He was about to open the door before someone came up from behind him, nearly tackling him off his feet with an embrace. "I did it Izuku! Thank you, thank you, thank you." A feminine voice that he recognized assaulted his ears.

Nearly falling into the door, Izuku was quick to regain his balance, adjusting to let the girl hang from her hug before letting go, her mouth curled ear to ear as he turned to face her. "I didn't do much Momo, that was all you. I just gave you some ideas."

"Still…" She said blushing playing with her bangs. "I couldn't have done it without you." She spoke timidly.

"I am sure you would have done it even without my help." Izuku said, returning the blush. "You should have more faith in yourself, you are amazing."

Momo was taken aback by the compliment and did not know how to reply, but she did not have to. "Wow, you work fast Midoriya." The youthful and playful tone of a person they both recognized entered their field of vision. "I wish I was in 1-A, it seems like a lot of fun. I need to talk to the person who decided to split the recommendation students between the two classes. Because it is not fair that you three get all the attention, despite me being in the quarter-final too." The pair turned to see a student of 1-B Setsuna Tokage.

"Tokage-san?" Both said in unison.

"That's my name, woah you are even in sync too." The green-haired girl answered with a grin. She then moved to stand beside Momo whispering in the girl's ear. "You mind if I borrow him for a bit, I won't be long, I just need some advice on my next opponent." Setsuna Asked the blushing Momo, who nodded and made herself scarce. Setsuna and Izuku watched as Momo disappeared from the hallway. "So Midoriya, word on the street is that you and Bakugo were tight since childhood. Want to help a sister out?"

Confused, he looked at Setsuna. "You want information on Katsuki? Why?"

"Because Todoroki is a shoo-in to win his match, and both you and your girlfriend won yours, I won't be the only one to not make the semi-finals. Besides, don't you want to watch two girls fight over you?" Setsuna laughed when she finished while watching the boy's face turn a bright red at the implication.

"I-I guess I-I-I can help." Izuku nervously chuckled.

"Thanks, Midoriya, you are a pal."
