KAYA.avi

Before joning the Black Cat Pirates. A scary event happened to Jango a few months ago. Jango was a poor wandering dancer. One day he was fell asleeping underneath a tree. When he woke up he found a Den Den Mushi next to him. The Den Den Mushi had a label that says KAYA.avi, and it has recorded footage in it. So Jango decide to play it, and see what the recorded footage is, what Jango watched became disturbing.

The footage was about an hour long, and was made up of what seemed like raw exported footage. The footage was of this blonde haired woman sitting on a chair and talking against a white backdrop. As Jango watched most of the footage it was all the same continuous shot. Jango tried to make out what she is saying in the footage to find out what she was talking about. Fifteen seconds into the footage the audio goes completely bad and her voice is drowned in harsh static/background noise. Jango couldn't make out a thing.

So Jango still couldn't hear what she was saying. He was intrigued now, and he began to pay attention to her face and body language. It seems that she's being asked some kind of questions, because she stops at times to listen, and then continues talking.

About 15 minutes into the footage, her face begins to redden and contort as if the questions are bothering her, still confident to answer them anyway, then shortly after she begins to cry. She sobs hysterically for the duration of the footage One of the few words Jango could lip-read was "skin". This girl repeated this word many times throughout the footage, and at one point she even pulls the skin of her arm and mouth. The girl seems to be unhappy with her skin.

About 40 minutes she starts to cry so hard she can barely look at the Den Den Mushi that was recording the entire interview. She eventually stops talking and the rest of the footage is just her crying with her head down. Oddly enough she doesn't get up or move, the screen just fades to black.

Jango was dumbstruck. He look throught the whole footage a few times, trying to find inflections and nuances in the girls movement that would reveal anything else about what was going on. Jango felt so dissatisfied, he wanted to know more. That's when Jango noticed that 10 more minutes left on the footage after the screen went black, and about 2 minutes there was more footage.

The footage was extremely shaky, almost unwatchable, it depicted a pair of legs walking along foresty path. Jango guessed that the Den Den Mushi was accidentally left on as it was being carried somewhere. The person in the footage walks along the path for about 6 minutes and then walks off the path, and into the forest, and then the footage ends.

Jango started beats with excitement because he recognize that foresty path, because he walked there before, and it was only a few miles away. Jango had to check this out.

Jango wander in the woods, this whole idea of investigating this footage had him so excited he couldn't wait.

After walking for awhile, he found the foresty path from the footage, and hid knees almost buckled with excitement.

He walked down slowly along the path, paying close attention to everything. He would stop occasionally, kneel down, and listen for anything or anyone… but it was so quiet. This was one of the most nerve-racking things Jango ever done. He didn't know what to expect at the end of this path.

The path leads into a grassy field, and then that's when Jango saw it, a house being consumed by the forest. From the looks of it no one had lived in the house for 20 or 30 years. He was a few yards away from the house, and next to the house was a tool shed made of rusty sheet metal. Jango just sat there among the trees for a while, absorbing everything.

He didn't want to go into the open field, but he had this feeling that there is something in the house he would see.

It took Jango a while to muster the courage to up to the house. The door was partly opened, so Jango walked up the door and pushed it open, took a peek in the house. He was relieved that the inside was actually very well-lit. There was no furniture, and the floor was riddled with bricks and wood and rubble, and some of the walls had huge holes in them. When he went in further to explore, Jango saw some things that he didn't pay much mind to, but now that he think about them in hindsight, they greatly disturb him.

The first thing that seems odd to Jango was that one of the doors in the first room, that he presumed led to the basement, looks a little too new to for this house, Jango thought it must be a remodel. The door seem to be the only door in the house that was locked. When Jango made his way up to the second floor, he saw some chairs and fold-up tables that looks too new to be there. But what disturbed Jango the most for some reason, was the bathroom. The dust on the mirror had been wiped away, and in the bathtub, he saw a clear plastic tarp that still had water droplets on it, he presume it was washed clean. That's when Jango heard a really loud moaning, and that's when Jango freaked out, and he jumped out the second story window and ran back to the foresty path.

Halfway in the woods Jango realized the moaning was most likely a water pipe expanding or contracting, and that give him a moment of relief, but he then gave into the horror which he realized and wondered why the water would still be running in an abandoned house in the middle of the forest.

It's been a few months since Jango visit that house, and Jango haven't gone back there, nor do he does he plans to ever again.
