Kazuo played the next episode and after a quick advertisement of GameFly, they show an image of two swordsmen from the teaser of last episode clashing each other blade to blade.

Boomstick: They're two of the most iconic swordsmen in video game history, known for taking on things way out of their league.
"A battle of two video game swordsmen! I've been looking forward to it." Chiaki noted
"Same here. I was hoping they introduced some formidable swordsmen into the show." Peko agreed
Wiz: Link, the champion of Hyrule.
Boomstick: And Cloud Strife, guardian of the lifestream. And orphans.
"Ohhhh man, I am so fucking thrill and rocking on this episode." Monokid exclaimed
"They recently brought in Zelda herself and now it's Link's turn to give it a go." Nagito said
"A guardian who protects orphans, Doubtful that he would be a childgiver like me." Maki noted
Wiz: Since both combatants use vast player-customizable arsenals, in this scenario they will wield what they are most comfortable taking into battle.
"The most comfortable arsenal into battle, what does that mean?" Kazuichi wondered
"It means that both of them have used multiple arsenals and weaponry in their own respective games, but since they have specify it, they will be using their traditional weaponry and abilities that are official in canon sources." Chiaki answered
"I bet whatever sick power they're packing is crazy, I say they bring it in!" Akane exclaimed

"So that's the scenario they're going for in this match, fair enough." Kiyotaka noted
Wiz: And remember in Death Battle, there is no outside help allowed.
"Expect for Eggman VS Wily, because they brought in their robot minions to aid them rather than just having the two doctors to battle each other alone." Sonia pointed out
Boomstick: Aww, but Boomstick, they have summons and they're cool, and fairies, and their– SHUT UP! It's our show, and this is the way we do it!
"Understandable Boomstick. Understandable." Kokichi noted
"Their show their rules, so there's no point of stopping them." Kaito added
Wiz: I'm Wizard and he's Boomstick, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
"Link is from the Legend of Zelda and Cloud is from Final Fantasy. Link is the second character to appeared and if you're wondering why Link is called Link is because according to the Hyrule Historia, he connects people together and then he must scattered the energy around the world through the ages. As for Cloud, the Final Fantasy games are anthology series, meaning each different game focuses on different plot of stories with different characters and Cloud debuted his appearance on Final Fantasy VII in 1997, which it became the most iconic RPG video game to ever known." Chiaki explained
The first combatant is a skilled warrior with blond hair and pointy hairs. He wore a green tunic and a green cap, brown boots and bracer gloves. He also wields a sword and a shield and faces all sorts of enemies. There are some depictions showing him being a young child, and cartoonish.

Wiz: Link is the multi-incarnated hero of the Hyrule Kingdom.
"The same kingdom and home to Princess Zelda herself." Kaede pointed out
Wiz: Humble and brave, he has defeated the forces of evil for ten generations.
"Ten generations?! That's like over two centuries and a half! How is he still young?!" Kazuichi wondered, shocked
"I'm guessing some sort of magic which makes him stay young could explain that." Himiko assumed
"A good assumption, but not quite." Chiaki refuted
Boomstick: Each fairy hero is linked... Haha! ...to each other.
"I did explained that part already." Chiaki said, making a pouty expression
Wiz: No, Boomstick, he's not a fairy.
Boomstick: Pointy ears, tights, magic, and look at that hair! Fairy.
"No. He is a Hylian. A race of humanoid creatures who worshiped their goddess Hylia and also the original of the kingdom of Hyrule. They possess unique psychic and magical abilities of their own and despite having long ears and looking like an elf, they're not actually elves at all in a traditional sense. Rather, they are classified as pointed ears humans resembling to them, but in a different new race." Chiaki informed
"Humans with pointy ears? Are you sure you're reading the right topic?" Yasuhiro wondered as Chiaki nodded
"Is that so? It's hard to wrap my head around this knowing they are human with a slightly different appearance." Kazuichi asserted
"Human, elf or not, I'm eager to learn more about his magic." Himiko replied

The sword Link wields shines so bright it brought nearly everyone awing at such a legendary sword. It was a double-edged blade that has the Triforce symbol embedded on the bottom, blue handle with wing-shaped guards and has a powerful aura around it to make it's appearance more majestic.
"That blade... I have never seen something so majestic from my research as an anthropologist." Korekiyo exulted
"Nyaha! The Master Sword is so divine Atua is astounded by its appearance." Angie exclaimed
"I can't believe either of what I'm seeing, the Master Sword is just so incredible." Peko commented

They see Link holding the sword and shooting at two enemies as they disappeared.
"A Master Sword doesn't just look cool! It's also packed with some serious magical powers." Kokichi exclaimed
Wiz: When low on energy, the Master Sword can still launch the Skyward Strike by calling on help from above. In addition, it utilizes three magical medallions.
They show a scene of Link using the Skyward Strike on the enemy.
"As for the three medallions, the first one is Bombos which casts fire, Ether freezes enemies solid and the quake can cause powerful earthquakes to knock giant enemies off their feet." Chiaki explained

Wiz: However, the Master Sword is far from Link's only weapon.
"Heh, he of course would need MORE weaponry that are sophisticated to him in some situations since the Master Sword alone isn't enough for him." Nekomaru added
"Aside from his Master Sword, he has more weapons in his disposal which he collected from the dungeons during his journey." Chiaki pointed out

Wiz: Doubt it. Link is an excellent archer and uses the Hero's Bow in conjunction with several arrow types. However, much of Link's arsenal is more suited to exploration than combat.
Some of the audiences like Mukuro, Maki, and Kaito have a taste on the Hero's Bow.
"His Hero's Bow is versatile and fires in four different types of arrows like fire, ice, light and silver. The Light and Silver arrows in general operated in the same way as they're both holy arrows powerful enough to harm Ganondorf." Chiaki explained

"I get it, the gauntlets is meant to increase lifting strength and not striking power since they work differently." Juzo said
"I don't really care to be honest, the gauntlets are worth something like you can lift someone or something so freakin heavy and then pile drive them." Akane noted
"Just like Zangief and Haggar's own pile drives move." Nagito mentioned
"T-That would be consider as murder though if it were a person." Mikan said
Wiz: He also carries three different pairs of boots.
Boomstick: Three, huh? Told you he's a fairy.
"Incorrect! Having three different pairs of boots does not make Link a fairy." Keebo pointed out while most others chuckled
"I'm positive he's only joking around. He wouldn't been saying it otherwise." Kaito said
Wiz: The Iron Boots weigh 130 pounds, the Hover Boots float in midair, and the Pegasus Boots with attached Roc's Feather increases Link's speed and agility to superhuman levels.
"So, having three different kind of boots can help him prevail for the right situation." Korekiyo noted
"Yup, like the Iron Boots for example, if Link were to ever face a larger threat, seeing a boulder coming or struggling to walk through a strong wind, he swaps to his Iron Boots so he can stand his ground. He even uses them to maintain footing and strength enhancers to lift heavy objects or enemies." Chiaki explained
Boomstick: But his best defense is the Hylian Shield.
The last of Link's arsenal was a large blue shield. It represents one symbol of the three triangles resembling the Triforce and below it was another symbol that was a red tribal markings that also resembled a bird to the trained eye. Most of the audiences could not resist it but be interested in the shield.

Wiz: Originally forged from the Thunder Dragon Lanayru, the Hylian Shield is completely indestructible.
"Calling the Hylian Shield indestructible sounds disingenuous since I find it hard to believe, I wonder what kind of material is made out of." Mahiru said
"I'm not sure to be honest, The games or guidebook have never specficed the material that was used to crafted the Hylian Shield. If I were to guess what it was then it's possibly made out of some kind of metal plus like titanium, chormium, or tungsten." Chiaki answered

Boomstick: Link also has a little help from the goddesses, via the Triforce of Courage. This tiny golden triangle embodies his ability to beat overwhelming odds.
Of course everyone already knew that since Chiaki noted them about the Triforce since the Zelda VS Peach episode.
"The Triforce of Courage, one of the three pieces, grants Link the willpower and bravery to overcome any odds even the most dangerous of all evil." Nagito asserted
Wiz: He is a puzzle solver, analyzing and exploiting his opponents' weaknesses even when there is only one possible means of winning.
"A clever tactical swordsman, always finding ways to defeat his enemies." Peko commented
Wiz: But while Link has the necessary tools to take on any opponent, his over-reliance of inventory over pure skill leaves him vulnerable.
"Therefore, all of his other weapons that he uses makes Link a jack of all trades." Kokichi pointed out
"With so many weapons at his disposal, it gives him too many options to decide and choose for the right scenario depending on who he's facing against." Shuichi added
Boomstick: Still, anyone who can fight a guy three times his size, while wielding a sword twice as large as he is, is a badass in my book.
They showed Link fighting a multi-armed bronze statue with a sword bigger than itself and Link managed to chopped it down to pieces and nearly everyone were impressed by this
"I am impressed by his reputation, even with some weaknesses, Link has proven time and time again that he can slay any foes that comes in his way especially those who are bigger than him." Makoto assured
Boomstick: With so many weapons and skills, there are few who can stand a chance against the Hero of Hyrule. Plus, if he dies, we can always just clap and bring him back to life.
"Nope. It doesn't work like that because for the last time..." Chiaki corrected
Wiz: HE'S NOT A FAIRY!
"He doesn't have any features of a fairy." Hajime stated
"Just don't listen of what Boomstick stating. That guy just loves to pull a leg and piss most of us off." Kazuichi stated
Link pulls the Master Sword out of its pedestal in the middle of a holy temple. Once he pulls it out, the pedestal he stands on glows and shows the symbol.
For a multi-incarnated hero, Link is a badass combatant in more ways than one which most of the audiences seemed to like and learn more about the other Links of different variations. Peko and Korekiyo liked the Master Sword, Maki and Mukuro liked the hookshot and boomerang, Akane liked and favors the Golden Gauntlets, Sonia and Kazuichi were impressed by the fabulous red ring and the rest like the other weapons too.
The next combatant is another blond-haired but handsome young man with blue eyes. He wore a sleeveless combat attire with a gauntlet pad on his right shoulder and a belt. He also wears brown boots, a prosthetic left hand made of metal and a red band on his left wrist. What he equips with him in battle is a humongous broadsword that most be impressed by it.
CLOUD
(Cues: Mako Reactor - Final Fantasy VII)
Wiz: Cloud Strife, guardian of the Lifestream, is no ordinary swordsman.
Boomstick: There's no way around it. He's a fucking super soldier.
"Literally an unstoppable one-man army." Mukuro commented
"Much more than a brute swordsman than me." Peko admitted
Boomstick: But damn, he's in desperate need of a haircut.
"Really? I don't his hair looks bad at all. In fact, having a spiky hair like that looks cool enough." Leon remarked
"I'm with you man. I'm also keeping my pompadour hair just the way it should be." Mondo agreed

"I could imagine a few corrupt organizations of which I can think of." Byakuya said
"The Mako poisoning is the deadly prolonged exposure that can lead genetic mutation, poisoning and ultimately death." Chiaki explained
"Poor Cloud... I hope he survived the Mako poisoning." Chihiro replied in sorrow
Boomstick: And somehow it gave him all the memories of his dead buddy, Zack, including his First Class SOLDIER training. Thanks, convenient planet poison.
"He should be fortunate that the Mako didn't kill him but instead inherited his old friend's memories and everything from him." Celestia noted
"That's right, Cloud ultimately survived the Mako side effect thanks to his friend Tifa who enters his mind." Chiaki corrected
"I'm not even sure if the Mako is lethal or not because if it is, I don't have the guts into taking something like that if I'm not lucky." Yasuhiro said
Wiz: That's not all Cloud inherited from his friend.
His weapon of choice was a giant single-edged blade that Cloud carries around and swinging it effortlessly despite it's weight. Nearly everyone were amazed by such a colossal sword.

"The Shinra company has produce thousands of materias, as a result of the planet dying." Chiaki added, which most of them frowned at the company's decision

Wiz: Cloud has an encyclopedia's worth of anger issues, which actually works to his advantage. He can channel his rage into extremely powerful Limit Break attacks.
"Who said anger can't be a weapon if they're determined to weaponized it?!" Nekomaru exclaimed
"I cannot possibly agree more than to feel and embrace the rage!" Gundham agreed, laughing

Boomstick: Also, Cloud wears a ribbon, which makes him immune to all status effects like burns and stuns. Well, I guess that makes it worth wearing a freakin' chick accessory.
"Ha! Look at him! With his hairstyle he's made himself a pretty chick plus with a ribbon if you ask me!" Leon pointed out
"But still the ribbon is also unique to Cloud for defending himself against statue effects should it come down to it." Celsetia said
"Link does have fire and ice arrows and Cloud has a counter to that." Yasuhiro recalled
Wiz: Cloud is brash and aggressive, but not the brightest fighter. He often relies on overpowering opponents through sheer ferocity and brute strength.
Nearly everyone jaw-dropped as they witnessed Cloud being impaled while powering through and cutting down the obstacles in his path.
"Holy fucking shit!" Mondo and Fuyuhiko exclaimed
"What a badass and he's so manly!" Kaito commented
"I-I'm so shocked t-to see him go through such pain and he kept fighting head on." Mikan added
"It goes to show that Cloud is more than just First Class Soldier. He's pushing his limits time after time even on the brink of death and he'll do whatever it takes to get the job done." Chiaki noted

Boomstick: Cloud's singlehandedly taken down quite a few powerhouses, like the giant Bahamut SIN, and planet-busting Sephiroth.
"He took down that monstrous Bahamut SIN like it was a piece of cake for him." Leon pointed out
"But t-that Sephiroth guy with the silver majestic hair who can blow up the planet, it was no rocket science for him!" Toko noted
"Ohhhh, the long silver-haired sexy man with a handsome face just makes my skin crawl, but master Byakuya is still my number one top priority and I won't turn him down for anyone no matter who is it!" Genocide Jack exclaimed
Boomstick: He's even been completely impaled and shrugged it off like it was nothing. Multiple times! I mean, look at this shit!
"Fuck man! That would mean getting his organs and his heart pierced through and he falls dead!" Mondo said
"But his endurance is high enough and proves that he can keep on fighting and push through and through! Therefore, Cloud Strife is far from being a normal human being!" Kiyotaka asserted
"Shouldn't Cloud's enemies tried to aim for the head because getting decapitated or stabbing him through the head is fatal." Monotaro questioned
"Punks of shit don't even give a rat's fucking ass of aiming for the head. They just target whatever which part of the body." Monokid answered
Wiz: It's impossible to deny, Cloud's superhuman abilities make him one of the deadliest swordsmen in video game history.
"Not a perfect swordsmen, but deadly nonetheless." Peko commented

Cloud Strife is the baddest soldier to most of the audiences especially Mukuro who can't even compete against him. Himiko and Gundham likes the Materia abilities and they're eager to know more about the rest of them. Akane likes and respects Cloud who is straightforward and often overpowers a foe in order to win. Peko, Kaito, Mondo, and Leon likes his Buster-Sword.

This fight is a close one on pictures. Being a puzzle-solver, Link would always find a way to exploit an enemy's weakness and even use his other weapons against the odds, but the important question is knowing if Cloud has any weaknesses at all which Link can take advantage of. Cloud on the other hand appears to be an unstoppable force of nature who can equipped with a Buster-Sword and thus having Fire and Thunder materia at his disposal along with his Limit Break attacks, the Ziedrich armor and the ribbon. Running this fight over a dozen times, Link will have a higher chance of winning more often times than Cloud does.
DEATH BATTLE
(Cues: Those Who Fight/Fighting [Metal])
They see Link and Cloud in their fighting positions face to face and what everyone saw in the background wasn't a 2-d animation this time. Instead it was in a different animation and both of the combatants were the 3D models. Behind Link and Cloud, there were some tall pillars with platforms on them and a bridge near up the ceiling and many of the walls had the Screwattack logo in the back.
"Whaaaat?! I was not expecting something like this to happen." Jataro exclaimed in surprise
"They're doing the fight in 3-D animation this time." Komaru said
"This must be the first time doing this since they've never did one in the older episodes until now." Chiaki speculated
"That means they'll be more 3-D battles to come in the future episodes and this would only get Ibuki more excited." Ibuki exclaimed
Which one of these video game swordsmen will bring home the gold?
FIGHT!
Cloud charges at Link and tries to swing his Buster Sword, but Link blocks with his Master Sword. Cloud is sent backward, while Link is sent into the air. While in the air, Link fires two Sword Beams at Cloud, who deflects them. Cloud then jumps into the air, performs a flip and smashes his Buster Sword into the ground, causing a Blade Beam to go straight at Link, who blocks the attack with his Hylian Shield but gets launched back. Cloud charges at Link and they both swing at each other. Cloud uses Cross-Slash on Link, who blocks with his Hylian Shield, and on the last swing, Link rolls under Cloud.
"Nice rolling dodge! This fight is only getting more intense." Kazuichi commented
"It is just as we suspected, they are fighting with everything they have in their own unique powers." Sonia noted
(Cues: Power, Wisdom and Courage - Powerglove [Zelda Medley])
Link strikes Cloud with a Spin Attack, who is sent flying back. Cloud uses the Thundaga Materia and fires multiple shots at Link, who runs and blocks them with the Master Sword. Then Link jumps and performs another Spin Attack, deflecting the Materia. Cloud jumps into the air and fires a huge Thundaga at Link from above. Link uses his Master Sword to absorb the Thundaga. As Cloud lands, Link fires a Thundaga-fueled Skyward Strike at Cloud, who gets hit and is sent flying.
"That was epic! You guys saw that right?! Link deflected all of those lightning shots that fast?!" Kokichi exclaimed
"Yeah and he even caught one with his Master Sword and launched it back plus with his Skyward Strike! Combination attack oh yeah!" Kaito replied
(Cues: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Tenrai - Divinity II)
As Cloud remains in the air, Link takes his Hero's Bow and fires arrows at Cloud, who deflects them with his Buster Sword. Cloud lands and charges at Link, who charges an Ice Arrow. Once Cloud is close enough, he fires it, freezing Cloud, but thanks to Cloud's Ribbon, he immediately thaws out. Cloud charges Link at swings, but Link dodges and throws a Boomerang, leaving him defenseless for a moment and allowing Cloud to deliver a series of sword strikes on him. Cloud then proceeds to use Climhazzard and Link attempts to counter with his Master Sword. Cloud eventually performs a mighty upswing, knocking the Master Sword out of Link's hands and forcing him to hide behind his Hylian Shield. Cloud delivers blow after blow on Link's Hylian Shield.
"Cloud is desperate to win this and now he's overwhelming Link by attacking him head on." Sonosuke said
"It won't be long now, Link is about to make a comeback." Miaya noted
Then the Boomerang from earlier comes back and hits Cloud, stunning him for a few seconds. Link uses his Hookshot and retrieves his Master Sword. Link then swings at Cloud, sending him flying. In the air, Cloud uses his Firaga Materia and fires a few shots at Link. Link puts on his Pegasus Boots, begins to increase his speed, and runs with his Hylian Shield outstretched. Dodging the Firaga, Link stops and runs up a pillar. Link launches himself at Cloud, striking him with another Spin Attack. Link lands on a platform above the ground, while Cloud lands on a small ring on a pillar and uses Meteorain, sending meteors at Link.
Cloud: Stars, rain down!
Link uses his Hylian Shield and blocks every meteor. While Link is distracted blocking the meteors, Cloud charges and strikes Link with his Buster Sword, sending Link into the air.
Cloud: This ends here!
"Here comes the fatal blowing I'm predicting..." The Imposter speculated
Cloud then performs his ultimate technique: the Omnislash Version 5, on Link, who manages to block the majority of the attack with his Hylian Shield. Once Cloud goes for the final strike, Link uses Z-Targeting to execute a well-placed sword swing, striking Cloud in the middle of the final blow which he draw blood and causing him to slam into the ground.
"A direct hit and he slash right through the stomach!" Kazuichi pointed out
"His Z-targeting move is what help him counterattack against Cloud's Omnislash." Chiaki noted
"Because of that, Cloud is done for." Nagito added
As Cloud falls to the ground on his knee, succumbing to his wound, Link throws a flurry of Bombs surrounding Cloud as he too weak to move, Cloud kneels in defeat and the bombs explode, sending Cloud flying in the air, and with help from the Triforce, Link performs the Fatal Blow, piercing through Cloud. Link lands with his Master Sword buried into the ground as Cloud's lifeless body falls shortly after. Link then gets up and walks away.

RESULTS
After the battle, nearly everyone clapped for watching how awesome it turn out especially when it was in 3-D animation. Those who voted for Link clapped for his victory while Cloud's voters gave him props for trying.

Boomstick: Not to mention his items helped him match Cloud's superhuman abilities.
"That's also true! Link's Master Sword can deflect and catch Cloud's thunder Materia because is it a form of magic which gave Link that opportunity to do so." Hajime asserted
"His Hylian Shield serves a better defense than any other weaponry for protection." Chiaki added
"That's not to say out Cloud was outmatched by Link's items, he did had the ribbon which prevents him from being frozen or burned and his Limit Break attacks were more versatile overall." Nagito noted
Wiz: Cloud may be powerful, but Link's Golden Gauntlets were stronger. In Ocarina of Time, Link used them to lift –and throw– an enormous column of granite. As granite weighs 166 pounds per square foot, this means Link can withstand over a thousand tons of pressure, surviving any of Cloud's assaults.
"Those gauntlets are something else! I'm gonna need those soon." Akane exclaimed
Boomstick: Cloud should've had his mind on more than just the Master Sword.
Most of them chuckled at the pun while the rest groaned.
Wiz: The winner is Link.
The episode was fun to watch especially when they change the animation to 3-D and things are only going to be better and more accurate in the future episodes.
Boomstick: Next time on Death Battle!
They see a full grown man wearing a dark and gray bat outfit facing off against a teen boy who was wearing a red and blue spider outfit as they clash it out in a large city at night. Without hesitation, Kazuo play the next episode.
They finally watch their first 3-D animation which really bring the show stepping up. I'm sorry that I took so long that I haven't upload the next chapter for over a month. I've been having a lot of issues with myself, chasing my path of career which I have been focusing on most of the time and it's a burden I have to add weight of my shoulders along with my mentality. I'm also trying to add more details for the characters to say something while watching the show. So please bear with me as I'll tried to be more additional and put my sweat and tears into making the story more efficient. That's all wanted to say for now.
