• The Leak •
The rainy season began in one early summer in Jaya, and Kuro had been no exception. It did not surprise the former Black Cat Pirate Captain when he discovered rainwater dripping from his hotel room ceiling. He shrugged it off, and just placed a tall pot beneath the leak and expected it will stop on its own. However, it continued to rain, and before Kuro knew it, the pot would threaten to overflow. He had to dump the water out first thing in the morning.
Eventually, Kuro began to notice water damage at the source of the leak. The white ceiling had discolored, turning a dull shade of brown. He checked the weather and realized that it would continue to rain sporadically over the next 10 days. Kuro was bothered about the ceiling mildewing
Kuro then call the hotel owner, Spector. He start to get frustrated that the hotel owner isn't receiving his calls about his situation.
Kuro try to call him multiple times how the damage was becoming progressively worse. Kuro was becoming angry and start to feel homicidal Tendencies against Spector.
Then Kuro was startled by a massive thump. He quickly took out his cat claws. He thought there was someone on the roof, Kuro got paranoid wonder if it's an enemy pirates or Marines thinking that they found his location and were targeting him. So Kuro sprinted out of his room and quickly gone top of the roof of the hotel.
Kuro looked around the area, and then found anyone. He but whoever made that thumb noise was already gone, then Kuro spotted something that got his attention. He spots a dead body and was laying above where his hotel room is, and the water had saturated it so badly that it caved under the weight.
Kuro took a closer look at the body and has identified it. Kuro was immediately shook.
The body belonged to the hotel owner, Spector, it looks like his body has been up here for years. Which was strange, cuz he's been seeing the Spector walking around the hotel while he was staying. Kuro wondered who was pretending to be him and running his hotel?
