P a treon request. Sorry this took so long, man. I'm posting this here without the usual week-long advance since it's a request and short length. For those unaware, I already posted chapter 2 of Eldritch Jaune a bit ago and will post here when the week-long wait passes.

Blake had a problem.
Things were finally going great. The White Fang had stopped their attacks and it seemed like Vale had calmed down in recent days. Not only that, but things were going better for team RWBY. She'd buried the hatchet with Weiss, revealed her clever disguise as a secret Faunus, and even started making friends with people outside her team like Sun. She felt better than she could've thought.
So of course that was when life decided she couldn't be happy.
Yang was avoiding her. Yang, the girl who wore her heart on her sleeve and clung to people tight because of her mommy issues, was avoiding her. She wasn't imagining it. The blonde brawler had gotten quiet in recent days and was often MIA as soon as classes finished. Her usual energy was gone, replaced with mumbled words and half-hearted excuses every time she went off to wherever it was she snuck off to.
Blake hated it.
It wasn't just her either. Sun had been uncharacteristically downbeat the past week and even Weiss, the girl first to fight and last to back down, had only gotten quieter. The only one who wasn't acting weird was Ruby, and she'd brushed off Blake's worries as the two of them just getting ansty about the Vytal Tournament. Nevermind the fact that Yang had been practically salivating at the thought of winning that championship less than a month ago.
Blake decided to take matters into her own hands. If Yang wasn't going to tell her what was wrong, she'd find out herself.
And so it was that Blake found herself shadowing her partner across Vale that weekend. It was not stalking, as she would vehemently deny to anyone that accused her of such things. Was it stalking to observe and assess a threat? No, it was just being smart. Granted, she didn't know if Yang was being threatened, but it was one of the easiest ways to explain her sudden shift in behavior. And if she was under threat, then Blake felt it was her responsibility to do something about it.
She made sure to keep a fair distance away to avoid being spotted. Huntsmen were trained to the peak of their reflexes and Yang was no exception. Thankfully for her, Blake was specially trained in stealth and infiltration. She'd even put on a clever disguise for the outing: a thick fedora that kept her Faunus ears hidden from sight. She was like a shadow, blending into the crowd so well she may as well have been invisible.
Said ears twitched when she saw just who Yang had met up with.
'Sun?' Amber eyes narrowed as the two blondes greeted one another and walked in the same direction. Sun was a Faunus too, but his trait was a tail. He didn't have enhanced hearing like she did, so she didn't have to adjust her distance.
Still, her mind was abuzz with questions. Sun and Yang? Since when were those two friends? That'd be like if she and Jaune were secretly buddies or something. She almost laughed thinking about it.
Blake continued to observe them. They were chatting about anything that came to mind, which was hardly out of the ordinary. Were they secretly dating? Was that why the two of them had been so odd around her lately? No, that didn't explain Weiss' sudden silent streak, and even if they were going out, why keep it secret? She wouldn't judge them. Blake would've been happy and supportive.
Eventually, they stopped at a small, nondescript building that looked similar to Tukson's bookstore. They both looked around like they were afraid of something before they both slipped inside. Blake's brows furrowed. That was...disconcerting. She waited a few seconds before she stepped away from the crowd and slipped inside an ajar window from the back of the building. She landed without a sound and looked around quickly. It looked like a storage room of some sort.
Walking stealthily over to the door, she opened the door just a crack and gasped at what she saw. There was Yang and Sun...along with Adam. No, not just Adam. There was Ilia too, and the chameleon Faunus looked different from when she saw her last. Her hair was a bright shade of blonde and she looked utterly ashamed, eyes downcast as the other three sat around her on their own seats.
"Welcome to this meeting of Bellaholics Anonymous," Adam said, sounding utterly calm and sensible despite what he just said. Blake's brows furrowed. What the fuck did he call them? "We have a new member with us. Say hello, Ilia."
"H-Hello," Ilia greeted nervously.
""Hello, Ilia,"" Sun and Yang said in tandem.
"Now, why don't you tell everyone why you're here, Ilia?" Adam said, the picture of calm and patience. Not at all like the raging bull she remembered.
"I...I'm here because I'm a Bellaholic!" Ilia covered her face with both hands and sniffled, her skin turning from brown to dark red in embarrassment, "A-All I can think of is Blake! I think of her when I'm awake, I dream of her when I sleep...all my thoughts are consumed by her. I...I even dyed my hair blonde cause I thought I could get her attention that way! We all know she loves blondes!"
Adam, Yang, and Sun nodded in agreement while Blake bristled. What?! She didn't! Yes, she found blondes attractive, but she didn't have a special preference for them or anything!
"Yeah, I was pretty down bad too," Yang said sadly, "You know I spent weeks just obsessing over butt?" Blake's face reddened and she grabbed said tush protectively, "I mean, I was down horrendous for it. My grades were tanking and I was getting my ass kicked in combat class because it was all I could think about. That's when I knew I had to do something about it."
"It wasn't anything specific about Blake that got me," Sun continued, "We just met and I felt like we just...clicked, you know? Suddenly I'm thinking that maybe I should ditch my team and maybe hang around her even after the Vytal tournament."
"She has that effect on many." Adam nodded sagely, "I myself was-"
"Alright, what the fuck is going on?!" Blake kicked the door down with a snarl. The reaction was immediate. Yang and Sun screamed and hugged one another, all training forgotten now that they were caught red-handed by the source of their obsessions. Ilia's entire body had turned boiling red and she jumped towards her with a gasp, only being held back by Adam's quick grab of her shirt's collar.
"Blake! It's me! Ilia! Oh, please take me! I can be your pet! I can be-"
"Calm, Ilia," Adam sighed, somehow looking the most sensible here. Adam looked sensible.
"But-!"
"No, remember why you're here. You must-"
"I asked a question!" Blake growled, "What in the fuck is going on here?"
"A meeting for the Bellaholics Anonymous," Adam sighed again, "It's a safe space for those who find themselves...obsessed over you. As the one who dated you the longest, I thought that I could do some good here."
"You hate humans!" Blake threw her hands up.
"I still do, but I realized now that a lot of that was due to my obsession over you." Oh, he was not pinning that on her! "I was planning to help destroy Vale just to get back at you. Then I stopped and thought about it. Is that really what I wanted? To destroy a whole city just to spite you? No. If I'm going to destroy a city, it's because I want to kill everyone there for myself, not because I'm a bitter ex."
"You're literally admitting you're fine with mass murder! That's not any better!"
"And so I started this group," Adam continued, completely ignoring her outburst, "I wanted to help those who fell into the same hole that I did. Other Bellaholics."
"Stop calling yourselves that!" She turned to Yang and Sun, completely ignoring Ilia's pleading that she'd lick her feet if she wanted, "Yang, Sun, what the hell are you two doing here? Why didn't you just talk to me."
"Well...what would that solve?" Yang shrugged helplessly.
"Yeah. It wouldn't really stop us from turning into Bellaholics," Sun added.
Blake didn't know whether to scream or strangle the two of them. Maybe both. In the end, she didn't get the chance to choose before the door suddenly opened and the last person she expected walked in.
"Is this the meeting for Bellaholics Anonymous?" Weiss 'Future CEO of Racism' Schnee walked in, hands wringing and eyes downcast, "I need help. I can't stop thinking about Blake and I-" Her eyes flicked upwards and she gasped when she saw Blake, "Blake, what are you doing here?!"
"...You've gotta be fucking kidding me." Blake facepalmed.
"A Schnee? Normally I would take this chance to kill you and prop your corpse up as a message, but this is a safe place for all Bellaholics. Please take a seat and tell us all about your struggles. I shall save eviscerating your corpse and hanging you from your guts for another day."
"I...I'm not sure I'm comfortable explaining that while Blake's here," Weiss squirmed in place, completely ignoring Adam's threat.
"I understand," Adam nodded. Ilia was trying to bite his hand off in desperation, "Blake, could you please leave? This is meant to be a safe space and you're making things difficult for everyone."
There were so many things Blake wanted to say, but in the end, she couldn't find the energy. Instead, she gave all of them the most withering, disappointed look she could muster and walked out without another word. She didn't say anything the whole way back to Beacon, just stewing in her frustration and lamenting about how she was the only sane person in her friend group.
She practically slammed the door open to their room. Ruby squeaked in surprise, but Blake ignored her and just crashed facefirst on Yang's bed. She was too tired to climb up to her own bed.
"Are you...okay?" Ruby asked hesitantly.
"No. Everyone's stupid."
"Oh." A pause, "Would this be a bad time to tell you I think I have a crush on you?"
...
Blake just sighed and accepted the insanity of it all.
Surprisingly (considering the title), Blake is not the Worst Girl here. I actually feel bad for her. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it. Next update will be the commission where Jaune is Everyone's Best Friend for the Vytal transfer students.
