The search of the students hidden in the forest took until the late hours of the night. It was so late when every students, that had survived or hadn't been transkated to San Mungo, was in the castle, that the wellcoming feast and sorting had been posponed. Instead all students had shared hot chocolate and light food and then the Great Hall had been transformed, again, into a great bedroom, where all the students slept that night.

Albus went back to the battlefield, he was hoping, with the help of some house elves, to retrieve some of the students posesions. He took time to go through the debris, picking anything that could be of one students and put it in a charmed bag to take back with him to the school. When he didn't find anything else, he took the oportunity to investigate the scene. The results chilled his blood, not only the Death Eaters had used the unspeakables left, right and center, but some of the students and other unknown people had used some cursed that were borderline illegal and highly dark in nature.

Albus was able to invite Alastor for tea, and luckily the man agreeded to come. Between tea and pasties the battlered auror told him the full details from the battle, confirming the presence of the other group of anti-Voldemort. The Weasley twins had modified enough of their ducks and model dragons, making them usefull for battle, and had distribuyed them through the DA so they could be ready in case of an attack, as it had happened. Alastor didn't told him what spells and potions the former toys used, but confirmed him that most of the Death Eaters had captured and in good condition, for now, and were in a location that just their group knew, waiting to their sentences. Ginny Weasley had told as soon as the Death Eaters in the train had started to attack, and their group had quickly came and join, mostly as air support. Between the armed students, the vicious spells that they had learn from Andromeda, and the Grangers shooting from brooms in the sky, Albus appearence had just been usefull to contain Tom, as the Death Eaters were already mostly under control when he had appeared.

When Alastor was about to left told him finally the name of their group, The Revenge of the Phoenix. Its name came from the revenge that the families wanted and the group that the people that they had loved were part or were going to join in the future. With that last piece of information he throw some Floo powder in the fire and stepped inside.

While the reunion had been a great source of information, it made Albus think the lenghts that those families, and friends, were taking to obtain their revenge. Albus just hopped that they couldn't turn fully dark, and that they could come back for their methods. In his eyes, justice should be done through the Wizengamot, the penalties from someone actions shouldn't be decided by the people that they had hurt, especially without offering any tipe of redemption like Albus was planing to do once he defeated Tom. He hopped that at the end of all, the other group would left enough Death Eaters alive that the population of the British wizards was sustainable on its own. And Alastor had told him that the only reason that they weren't death yet was that Andromeda was still finding crimes, through Legeremancy. It didn't bode well to Albus that they were thinking of punished them, instead of letting the Wizengamot doing or giving them a chance to redeem themselves.

It wasn't long when Albus found out the destiny of the apprended Death Eaters. It was a long article in an especial afternoon edition of The Propher, covering front page and a docen more pages. The Death Eaters, had appeared that morning, and in perfect condition, except they were dead. They didn't seem to had been phisically tortured in any way, and there weren't residues of the cruciatus curse. It was, sadly, to late for the women and men, some were even children. But at least, Albus consoled himself that at least they hadn't being tortured before their deaths, even if being subjected to legeremency wasn't a nice thing to go through, and Albus could't condone the use of the killing curse, even if that was the most mercifull way to kill someone. There were full pages of the crimes that had been uncivered, some even from the first war and unknow for the public, at least until now. It didn't paint a good picture of them, and Albus got the feeling that the general public, especially those that had been afected by them would celebrate their deaths and have a drink in honor of the new group of vigilantes that had taken care of them.

Albus looked at the different tables, the students were reading the paper too. Some students, those of the DA group didn't seem surprised by the news, probably already knowing that it was going to happend. Other students, those who had lost people in the first or second war, had small sad smiles on their faces, and Albus could feel almost relief that they were death. A group of students whose family or family friends had been aprended, and killed, didn't seem happy, and in some students even afraid. The rest, more neutral, seemed scandaled at the news, but without using legeremancy on them it was difficult to know if it wasfor their deaths or for their crimes, and Albus wasn't a fan of using it, especially when Severus was at hand.

Later Severus could confirm him that they were more horrorified by the crimes comited than by the murders of the Death Eaters. Then, he told him that if he didn't stop soon those people, his position as spy could by in danger. At least, Albus though that the attack and its consecuencies had broght something goid, as Severus had informed him that there were some of his students from dark families that were scared of going back home and being killed next, and that they were open to swich sides if that mean surviving. That was good in Albus eyes.
