My eyes opened and I was greeted with the sight surrounding my bed. I fumbled to reach for my phone that was connected to the charging port an arm's length away, squinting my eyes due to the glaring glow of the screen while checking the time.
Not bad, I slept for slightly over two hours this time.
I'm not too sure which part of the world we are currently in and which sea our ship is sailing across. I just know that it's still very choppy and the entire ship is still rocking and swaying, the motion of it still giving me a faint sense of motion sickness. I carefully sat up, slowly pulled open the curtains around my bed and got out after managing to locate my slippers in the dark. Fuzzy and Rena usually slept with me on the same bed but ever since I have insomnia I returned them back to their pokeballs at night so that my frequent waking ups would not disrupt their own sleep.
A quick glance at the other beds in the room told me enough that Sebastian, Flannery and Norman were all currently asleep, which is to be expected since it's three in the morning right now. I cautiously opened the door of our bunk and slinked out before closing it behind me, not wanting to wake them up.
I felt much better when I finally reached the deck and felt the cool sea breeze blowing past. The seasickness had not disappeared entirely, but it's better now. I found my favourite spot on the deck and leaned against the handrails to take sight of the scenery. Having insomnia makes you wake up at random intervals at night and it gives me the chance to silently observe sights that I usually don't get the chance to. There was no moon in the previous nights due to the cloudy skies so everything surrounding the ship was just so dark. I could barely see anything even with my night vision ability. No stars, no moon, no reflection from the water surface. I could only hear the sound of lapping waves and the constant rev of the engine.
Tonight was much better. The clouds had parted to reveal the gibbous moon and the moon is exceptionally bright tonight. There were stars too and they made a very beautiful sight dotting the entire night sky, some of which I believed are stars belonging to certain constellations of this world but I do not know enough about astrology to ascertain if my observations were right. The light of the moon and stars were also reflected from the water surface, making everything much brighter than the previous nights.
Being able to see such sights makes me feel that having insomnia isn't so bad sometimes.
Dolly appeared from thin air to join me with a playful cackle and I patted her on the head. She sat on the edge of the handrail and continued to play with the Ghost Gem that we obtained from the auction in Unova that I gave her as a gift. Not too sure where she had hid her Mega Stone but I know that she has it on her.
"Urgh…" I retched when the dreaded nauseous feeling suddenly made itself known again. This time, it doesn't seem like I could keep it down and so I quickly leaned over the handrail and started to puke my guts out once more. I vaguely felt one hand quickly holding my hair away from my face so that my vomit wouldn't accidentally get on my hair and another hand holding me by the back of my shirt's collar, probably fearing that I might accidentally fall overboard while I was vomiting.
Gosh, I feel like shit right now.
I finally managed to take a good look at the samaritan once I was done puking everything out. It's Zades. He wordlessly detached the water canteen that was hung on his belt and handed it out to me.
"Might want to gargle your mouth."
I mouthed a silent thanks and took his kind offer, but made sure to not let my mouth come into contact with the mouthpiece of his canteen while pouring some fresh water into my mouth because I'm sure he wouldn't want to know what my vomit tastes like. I spit the gargled water overboard back into the ocean, feeling a little embarrassed for letting someone else see such a pathetic sight to me.
"It's dangerous to come up to the deck alone at night. You never know when a big wave would suddenly appear and wash you overboard and there's nobody around at this time that will notice and save you," he told me after taking his place beside me and leaning onto the handrail like I did. "There were lots of unfortunate accidents like that in the past, it still happens sometimes when people are being careless."
"I have Dolly," I replied and Dolly waved her stubby arms in a playful hello. Zades returned her greeting with a nod of acknowledgement and I could tell that Dolly was happy for potentially meeting a new friend that's not afraid of her. She's usually very friendly, perhaps far too friendly than the average ghost, unless someone did something to piss her off.
"Can't get used to sleeping on a ship? We noticed that you were wandering around the deck around this time for the past few nights as well."
"You were around?"
"Me and my men usually take turns to keep watch at the bridge at night." He pointed upwards, more specifically behind us where the bridge of the ship was towering over us. "Told them to keep a lookout for you if you were wandering around after sundown. I was told that you would usually be seen around here at around this time."
"Wow, thanks," I told him sincerely. It's true that they are soldiers and they are on a mission to deliver us back home safely, but they really do not need to go that far. I appreciate the sentiment.
A comfortable silence fell between us as we both looked out to sea together. After a while, I decided to initiate conversation.
"Um, about the food shortage problem you spoke about earlier this afternoon…"
"We won't let you guys go hungry," he promised, eyes still looking far ahead into the vast sea. "Don't worry too much about that. We will be able to make a pitstop about three days later to refuel and restock. We should have enough until then."
"What about you and your crew? Your pokemon?" I asked in concern. He said that we won't let us go hungry, the "us" in question being the civilians like me. He didn't say anything about the ship's crew.
"We will make it somehow, we are soldiers and sailors. We are trained for situations like this and we've been through worse before," he assured with a lazy wave of his hand. "Don't think I have thanked you yet for your help today, so thanks. It was kind of satisfying seeing your gengar scaring the shit out of him like that."
"It was nothing," I shook my head, "but… I'm not trying to blame anyone or nitpick or anything so don't take this the wrong way, but does the food here always taste like this…?"
It would not be right to fault the variety of our meals since we already are facing a potential food shortage problem, but the quality of the meals really still has a lot of room for improvement. If this is what military food tasted like I really wonder how Vance survived in ACE for so many years.
Zades threw his head back slightly with a laugh.
"Oh it's kind of a long story."
"I have lots of time to spare."
"Well, we can start by talking about this ship," he lightly tapped his knuckle on the handrail. "Latest and newest model of the Hoenn Navy and of course, currently the fastest model we have, only rolled out very recently just two months ago, its maximum speed outspeed the other models in the navy by at least threefold."
"That's a very drastic improvement."
"It is. Usually the higher ranking officers are assigned to command the newer models, like the admirals, for example, but there's some manpower staffing issues up there and… well, you get the gist. In the end, my captain and I are assigned to temporarily assume command of this vessel, but at the end of the day this was a vessel originally meant to be commanded by an admiral or similarly ranked commander, so the manpower allocation for such state-of-the-art military equipment would reflect that as well. Most of the sailors here are some of the best crew our navy can provide and these are sailors with a lot of experience under their belt. Theoretically, that included the cook as well. So, no, the food usually shouldn't taste that bad."
"But the taste does leave much to be desired."
"Yes, because the original cook assigned to this ship couldn't come aboard for reasons that it's not convenient for me to divulge and funnily enough, the entire navy couldn't find a good replacement in such a short time so they sent a new recruit up to join us instead. That poor lad hadn't even served for more than half a year and the original mission our ships were sent on was a simple and standard tour of the borders of Hoenn's naval territory. None of us really faulted the boy for his lack of experience and skills, those things do take a while to accumulate and we are sailors, we are accustomed to eating bland and tasteless food for a few months. We all just laugh it off and carry on as usual. We all thought that it's originally just a short border patrol anyway."
"I think I can already see what really happened."
"Yup, so halfway into our patrol around Hoenn we received a top secret super confidential urgent assignment. We are to immediately head to Unova and retrieve our countrymen who are stranded there. We were already too far from the Hoenn mainland to do any resupply or change in personnel, mind you, so we had to find ways to work around the issue. What we did know was that we had to make a trip to Unova as soon as possible without delay, and that stopping to refuel and resupply wouldn't be possible during this journey due to the urgency of the situation. We fully expected that it's highly unlikely that Unova could provide us any supplies as well due to the events going on there, so the only thing we could do was to plan our food usage very carefully. We were told about the estimated number of civilians that we will be welcoming aboard the ship, we did a stock take of our supplies and fuel and after doing the maths, we were confident that as long as we cut the crew's rations by a certain percentage, just enough to keep us going for our daily activities, it is possible to sustain the crew and also the civilians until we reached the nearest supply depot, which we are heading towards right now. The figures we arrived at assured us that the crew wouldn't starve too badly and we were confident that we could make this work, so we decided to immediately head to Unova at top speed before things at Unova get even worse. Of course, it would be wise to have a Plan B if our food supply still fell short. Our Plan B is sending down our water type pokemon to hunt food for us, namely fish and if the pokemon in question is able to dive deep enough, seaweed too."
A wave of emotions briefly surged over me after I heard everything. It's a mix of awe, respect, and gratitude for all the sacrifices that the sailors and their pokemon had silently made for our sake without any complaints. Was this what Vance had to experience as well when he was in ACE?
"There's no need to give me that look. We are soldiers, we signed up for this and the whole crew knew what we were getting up to the moment we were sent on this retrieval mission. We knew from the day this mission commenced that this wouldn't be a walk in the park." Zades comforted me when he saw the look I was giving him. "When you are a lowly recruit your trainers always yell at you that as soldiers you must be prepared for any emergency because emergencies can happen anytime anywhere. We can never be fully prepared, but we prepared ourselves as best as we can given the circumstances and made do with what we have. The food didn't meet everyone's expectations because the poor lad in the mess suddenly found himself in a situation far above his skill level to handle. I know his food tastes bad, he knows that his food tastes bad, but he really is already doing his best. Cooking for an entire crew is different from how the chefs cook in your eateries or restaurants simply because it's not the same. Take a look at the kitchen equipment and you will understand why."
"There wasn't enough time to prepare, that's why supplies are just barely enough," I nodded in understanding after hearing Zades' explanation. It's probably the same for all the military ships that picked us up at Unova, they probably were just originally meant to do simple border patrol until they were suddenly deployed for an emergency retrieval mission without enough time to do the needed preparations. They really are trying their darnest best already.
"This mission really is not a smooth sailing one. Even our captain caught a contagious disease and had to self-isolate in his room just one day before this sudden deployment. My men kept talking about how unlucky we had been," Zades sighed dramatically. "Enough about me though, why are you always out here at this time?"
"I suffer from insomnia. No need to worry though, it's already under control. You know Dr Lott who boarded the ship with us? He's monitoring my situation."
"If you are sure you are fine, okay then," he relented and stopped pressing further, "but my previous advice still stands. Don't come up on deck here like that, you really might get washed away. If you want to enjoy the seabreeze at night there are better places to do so."
"Where?"
He pointed upwards where the bridge of the ship is at.
"That place is out of bounds to civilians."
"Not unless you have the commanding officer's approval," he turned around and gestured for me to follow. "Since you have insomnia and you tend to wander all over the place at night, I might as well place you somewhere that the person on night duty can keep a watch on you at all times and make sure you don't accidentally get yourself swept away by a random wave."
"It's dark out here so watch your step," he reminded me when he led me to climb a set of stairs that led to the bridge. We soon arrived at the bridge where there's a small little gallery outside the room for people to walk about and get a better bird's eye view of the entire ship from here.
"This corridor right outside the bridge is the gallery. If you want to enjoy the seabreeze, do it here. If you want to observe the sea from within the comfort of an airconditioned room, do it from the bridge. Just don't disturb my men on duty, don't touch anything you shouldn't touch, and strictly no pictures in there."
"Yes sir," I agreed, knowing that he's giving me a huge privilege in light of my insomnia situation and he doesn't want to take any risk of me accidentally getting swept off the ship when I was exploring the deck.
"The view's much better up here too," he pointed far ahead and it's true, the sight was breathtaking. "If you are bored you can make small talk with the night duty personnel, they definitely wouldn't mind having the chance to talk to a pretty girl and some are pretty desperate for a girlfriend. I have faith that my crew are all gentlemen that will back off as long as you tell them no, but it's rather hard to find a girl to date in the navy due to the heavily skewed gender ratio so if they come across as being overenthusiastic, well, you know why."
"My brother served in ACE, I don't think he ever said the gender ratio was that bad." I cannot help but laugh when Zades "warned" me of such a situation potentially happening.
"Brother? Ah, yes, Vera… heard of such a person before… Was he the vice-commander of Ghost Company? Worked under Wallace?"
"Yes, he did. Wasn't expecting you to have heard of him."
"Hard not to," he snorted. "People in his company call him the legendary siscon and word of his title spread around real quick. Even if many never really met him in person before we would have at least heard of his title."
I facepalmed from the cringe. Dammit Vance, even when you are not here you just have to embarrass me, don't you?
"Anyway, to answer your question, while most trainers ended up serving under the League's forces after they dropped out of the circuit or finished their conference, most women ended up choosing to serve in the LSDF or the Rangers. Very few chose to serve in ACE so the gender ratio here is very heavily imbalanced."
"The navy is part of ACE?"
"Yes, it is a division under the big umbrella that is ACE. In fact, the entire Hoenn military can be broadly considered as ACE. ACE has eighteen companies in total, but honestly the term "company" is not the best terminology to describe them, it would be more accurate to say that they are eighteen divisions instead of companies. Your brother was from Ghost, that company along with one or two more others are truly the elite ones, the very best of the best. It's actually very misleading when people say that those who enlisted into ACE are the best of the best, because those words only hold weight if you are a soldier from those companies. Naturally, these companies are very small in number as compared to the rest due to their strict requirements in selecting their members, but those who managed to thrive there are indeed the best Hoenn can offer. They are so good that they are more like elite operatives rather than mere soldiers, some of which are Pillar level or close to that level. Your brother is one of those."
"So the rest of the companies are… not as good?"
"The brutal truth would be yes. There are powerful trainers in every company but as a whole, the average quality of the soldiers there definitely cannot be compared to the elite ones like Ghost. Ground company is the division where standard foot soldiers go to, also better known as the infantry, and so it is the biggest division, taking up about forty percent of our total size. The navy is under the Water company, Flying is our air force, forest guerrilla warfare and recon is Grass, so on and so forth. The broad guidelines of how ACE is structured are not exactly secrets, you can find them all on the internet if you searched but people usually don't do that so not many know what ACE really is. They just think that all soldiers that enlisted in ACE are elite soldiers, which is not entirely true nor false, but from the higher command's standpoint this misconception does help to promote a better image of the military, so they simply turned a blind eye instead of correcting it."
"Learnt something new today," I remarked while digesting the information that I just learnt. "Still didn't really explain the gender imbalance though. Is ACE really that much tougher than the LSDF or Rangers?"
"I would say yes. That's not to say that women are weaker than men and such, because we have very powerful female operatives that have served ACE or are still in service, like Winona for example. It's just that we simply received a lot more applications from the men than the women each year. That meant that most female trainers ended up putting LSDF and Rangers as their preferred choice, nothing we can do about that."
"I see. Now that I think about it I don't think I spotted a female crew member on this ship either."
"Yeah, we only have six women among the five ships and none of them belong to this ship. Our ship is the sausage ship, or that's what most of my men would say. Actually, they were initially very excited about the retrieval mission because that would mean that they might have a chance of meeting pretty girls."
"Seriously?"
"It's far better than the usual boring border patrol. Let me tell you, when you put a bunch of men who are full of testosterone and at the prime of their lives together in the same place out at sea with no female presence for a long while and a wild woman suddenly appears… funny things happen."
"Like…?"
"If you talk to them nicely for over two minutes they will be at your beck and call for the rest of the trip. If you parade around in a bikini they will let you step all over them. If you give them your number they will sell their kidneys for you. You might also notice some of my men hanging about nearby pretending to be busy but sneaking glances at you when you weren't noticing. Of course, the more beautiful the woman in question, the more perks she will unlock."
I burst into laughter after hearing that. Obviously his words were exaggerated, but at the same time I'm pretty sure that there were some grains of truth to it.
"Don't believe me? Try it later in the morning. You are pretty good looking yourself and some of them had been talking about you since this afternoon. You have a good rep among my men for standing up for us. They even drafted up a battle plan on how to approach the good looking ones on this trip. It's all in the name of fun, of course, but you get my point."
"You made it sound like the entire crew is starved for female contact."
"Believe it or not, that's what it really is. You don't want to know the kind of things they talk about in their bunks, it's for men's ears only. That really is the daily life in the military for you."
"You know what? Stop it, I don't want to think about what my brother talked with his friends from ACE when he was still in service. Let's talk about something else," I quickly put him to a stop and desperately thought of a new topic to talk about. "You say that this is a ship for VIP civilians. Any reason why?"
His smug smirk gave him a very cocky vibe but at the same time, just seemed to rightfully belong there on his face. He pointed a finger at himself.
"The reason is standing right next to you."
"Oh come on."
"It doesn't matter if you believe me or not, but this really is why you guys are on this ship and not on the others. If you saw the VIP list like I did you will be surprised how many influential figures and their family members happened to be at Unova at the wrong place and time. I personally attributed the reason to the relaxation of interregional borders that led to the increased number of overseas business ventures, people all want the biggest share of the pie through getting the first mover advantage. Surely your family is doing something similar as well?"
"True. I helped with clinching a business deal with the Dandolos back at Unova," I freely admitted. "What kind of VIPs are there anyway? Apart from the Savic family?"
"You know the two kids with the zigzagoon? The fraternal twins that like to play on the deck in the mornings? They are here on a holiday with their grandparents while the grandpa attends a business trip here. The grandpa is the owner of Belzer Energy, the energy resource titan that provides energy to more than a fifth of the region and the main sponsor in building New Mauville. And then the woman with the obnoxious pearl necklace? Owner of Ista Deep Sea Mining Group, another corporate giant. These are the kind of people that we have to send back home in one piece by hook or by crook. It would be disastrous if all of these people became part of the casualty count in the Plasma war simply because we weren't fast enough to pick them up, or if something happened to them in the middle of the trip back home. Can you imagine the impact that would hit our economy if all of these corporate giants and elites were to suddenly vanish?"
"That will be very bad," I agreed. I know this is a VIP ship, but I wasn't expecting the ship to be ferrying so many VVIP with such weight and influence back home.
"In the end the higher ups decided to consolidate and put all of you VIPs on one ship so that it's more convenient to account for everyone and also to defend you in the case of an emergency. My ship was the unlucky one to be chosen to undertake this task of babysitting the VIPs cos of my presence. I don't look like it but I am pretty skilled, and even Champions would have trouble putting me down without paying a price if the battle took place here at sea where I work best."
"Even Wallace?"
"I would most definitely lose, but I could minimally take down half his team under normal circumstances."
"Normal circumstances?" My curiosity was piqued at his weird choice of words. In return, he simply took out a tablet from… wait, where did he take it out from? It's like it appeared from thin air.
"You know what's the funny thing?" He said while scrolling through the tablet. "When I first received the list of VIPs that I have to babysit I received orders from higher command that there's one VVIP that I absolutely have to ensure the safe return of. If something very bad were to happen during the voyage and I had to abandon every other citizen to save that one VVIP, my orders were to execute that directive."
He finally reached where he wanted to scroll to on the tablet and passed it over to me. I took the tablet from his hands in curiosity and what my eyes laid upon was my very own ID picture that was registered in my pokedex, along with all of my registered information into the League's database. These included my achievements in my circuit, my conference results, my short stint with the LSDF that can be publicly displayed. It also included redacted confidential information that would not be displayed in my pokedex, like my contributions in aiding to stop Team Magma's and Aqua's plans and how I foiled it, and also what I did in the interpol as a former PWL agent.
"Do you see now, VVIP?" Zades still had that smug vibe as he leaned on the handrail of the gallery but I think that it's obvious at this point that this demeanour was simply a facade to hide how dangerous he really is. "Us running into each other frequently on the ship wasn't a coincidence. I can even tell you that our first meeting was deliberately planned. I had orders to keep an eye on you because-" he reached out a finger to scroll further down and tapped on a specific field that was highlighted and marked out in this report. What was written on it was definitely new information that wasn't there previously and definitely not registered anywhere in official records.
My new status as an Ability Holder.
"Just because I am an Ability Holder?" I asked perplexedly and he facepalmed at my words.
"This isn't a just because. Look at this from the perspective of the higher command. A Vera, stellar performances ever since the start of her circuit, second place in her first attempt at the conference which she completed in just two years after starting out. Acquainted with the likes of Agatha, a Ghost Master. Volkner, the former strongest Gym Leader of Sinnoh. Jasmine, the woman who defended a city from a legend. Assisted in stopping Team Magma and Aqua at the age of twelve. A former interpol agent that assisted to quell several large scale conflicts and now, you showed signs that you are most certainly an Ability Holder. Do you know how rare Ability Holders are in Hoenn? It's literally just a small handful, literally, and people with abilities that have combat potential are much rarer. You are a high net worth asset that the region believes is worth investing in. If all these are what you can do now at the young age of fourteen, imagine the things you can do when you are at your prime."
"You don't need to remind me what I did before," I handed the tablet back to him, not very pleased that being an Ability Holder was why I'm given preferential treatment because my ability felt more like a curse than a blessing ever since I was forced to undergo Devouring. Abilities are not as great as people hyped them up to be, especially after I saw firsthand the mistreatments and prejudice against Ability Holders at Unova.
"Maybe it's because you had never seen what an Ability Holder with absolute mastery over their abilities could really do," he shook his head in exasperation. "The presence of such an Ability Holder can quite literally change the tide of war when used right. You will know in time."
"I know that, I just survived a war with an army of those-"
"They merely unlocked or awakened their abilities. They did not master it," Zades emphasised. "True mastery is different from just allowing abilities to lash out indiscriminately. I was informed by higher command of your ghost-inclined ability and about this new discovery of… what's that called again? Devouring? You absorbed the abilities of others to make it your own, but what about your original ability? Have you mastered it?"
"The only thing I can do is talk to ghosts and understand them. How do I master that?"
"See? You didn't even try honing and mastering your own ability and you already could command a small army of ghosts. Imagine if you really mastered your ability to communicate with ghosts," he pointed at the shadows pooling beneath my feet and was moving unnaturally. "Imagine how that would translate on a battlefield. Anyone who wants to invade a certain city or town in Hoenn would have to think twice the moment we place you there, that's the kind of deterrence an Ability Holder could possibly have when they mastered their ability. Do you understand why I was given the order to watch over you now?"
"Why are you even telling me all these?"
"Part of it was because you clearly have no idea of your own worth and that rubbed me the wrong way," he very blandly replied. "You did ask me about why I could take down half of Wallace's team under normal circumstances. Let me show you the abnormal circumstances, maybe that would allow you to finally understand your worth as a Vera, a trainer, and Ability Holder."
He turned back to face the direction of the sea far ahead towards the right side of the ship, now standing with his back straightened. He raised his right arm outwards and slowly rotated his right hand as if rotating a knob. I was a little confused at his actions until he slowly raised his right hand higher, and higher, and higher.
"Watch. Right in front of you."
I watched with dropped jaws when I saw a huge towering wall of seawater rising higher and higher like a tsunami from a scene in a disaster movie, so tall and wide that it blocked the light from the moon and the stars like an insurmountable great wall. Zades clenched his right hand into a fist, pulled his hand back before cutting it outwards in a swift motion. The wall of water began raging towards the direction his hand had cut towards and I watched in awe and silence until the towering wave finally dissipated and died down near the horizon.
"You… You are an Ability Holder too."
"And the reason why I am in charge of babysitting you VIPs," he added. "Hopefully what I showed you finally hammered home the point I've been trying to drive into your silly mind. You've been giving yourself far too little credit. When you finally mastered your ability like I did you would be able to do things on a scale that I just demonstrated and maybe even more. You are worth the attention and investment Hoenn has been directing to you."
He took out his phone.
"People like us are really just a small handful back home. If we don't look out for each other nobody will so… wanna join us? We have a group chat. You already know the stupid twins Liza and Tate but there are others like me and you hiding in plain sight."
"How many of us are there?"
"Me and you, Tate and Liza, a nice granny from Dewford, a bimbo influencer from Lilycove, a weird hiker from Fallarbor, an antisocial herbalist from Verdanturf. Eight of us so far. If there's more, the League hasn't discovered them yet."
He showed me a QR code for me to scan using the messaging app and I was immediately invited into the group chat. True enough, there were only eight participants including me. I saw a new message from who I assumed to be Zades who briefly introduced me to the group and informed them that I'm an Ability Holder like them as well. The name of the group chat is "Mochi-Mochi". Not too sure why.
"How are they like?" I cannot help but ask in curiosity.
"I think you will get along with the granny and the influencer. The granny is super nice and if we gather it's usually at her place. The influencer's not very bright though and she gets on my nerves sometimes, which is why I call her a bimbo. The hiker is usually off the grid climbing weird places and I would suggest not spooking out the herbalist at Verdanturf. He's not good with social gatherings and things might get, uh, messy when he's spooked."
"Sounds chaotic." I voiced my opinion with a grin. I haven't met all of them yet but I am already looking forward to getting to know them.
"It kind of is," Zades agreed with a smile. "Not all of us have abilities that are suited for combat and not all of us have mastered our abilities, but we are the only ones who are of the same kind in the whole region. We don't always see eye to eye but we do help each other out when somebody needs it, especially when it comes to learning how to control our abilities so that we do not accidentally harm ourselves or the people around us. Welcome to the group."
I smiled. For some reason, knowing that there are people like me back home gave me a greater sense of ease, that I am not alone and not the only one with strange gifts that would be abnormal to most other people.
I still have one question though.
"Do new members get an initiation present?"
"Nah."
AN: Just realised that FFnet review function is still not working properly and hasn't been fixed smh.
