Welcome to my new experimental story. I've decided to make a battle royale fanfic story after reading ShadowNinja77's work. It gave me a lot of inspiration and plot for my own version. I've always wanted to make every character that I've seen or read meet each other, but I didn't know how until I read "Multiversity" by the said author, ShadowNinja77.

And as you may know already, OmniVersus is basically "MultiVersus", but replaced the "multi" with "omni". It was originally simply called "Omniverse: Battle Royale" or "Battle World", but it sounded too plain until I remembered the new crossover game from Warner Bros. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my new story.

This fanfic is inspired by ShadowNinja77. Please make sure to check their original work before mine if you haven't already.

OMNIVERSUS

PROLOGUE

Multiverse. A multiverse is an infinite number of universes that are commonly interpreted as a space containing distinct, typically non-interacting universal "bubbles." It came to be when people made different choices from the prime universe. Hugh Everett, a physicist who proposed the many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics, was the first to discover the possibility of the multiverse's existence, along with different versions of himself. Many beings have traveled to these parallel worlds, whether by chance, on purpose, or by force.

But there is another "verse" that no one knew existed. It was known as the "Omniverse." The omniverse is the collection of all universes, multiverses, megaverses, dimensions, and realms. There are Dimension RL multiverses, also known as the "Real World," but there are also multiverses where fictional characters such as Batman or Spider-Man existed. Only a few times did characters from different multiverses meet and fight each other, but it wasn't a common "crossover" because it would bring disaster to the omniverse.

That is until a familiar entity created a battle world where characters would meet and fight a few years ago in his time. His name was Melaris Dragonborn, also known as Kiddo in Dimension RL. The God of Light, Darkness, and Destruction. The Defeater of Chaos, the evil incarnate of the Almighty Deity. The King of Hell. The Archangel of Heaven. And the Duke of Dark Realm, commonly known as Purgatory. He was the third human-turned-deity who transcended beyond the omniverse, the other two before him were The Enlightened One and The Heavenly Prince. They're called "The Enlightened Deities", who ranked second to The Almighty Deity while below them were a hierarchy of Primordial and lowest gods of different pantheons across the universe.

In order to test his newfound godly abilities, he created a realm of battle worlds. He was enthusiastic to witness the existence of fictional characters, mostly superheroes and anime characters. He was unaware that bringing together people from different multiverses is forbidden without the consultation of The Almighty Deity. Nonetheless, he does so without thinking of the consequences of his own actions.

"It's time to see these characters interact with one another." Kiddo said with a villainous tone.

To be fair, this wasn't the first time Kiddo acted like a villain. Back in his homeworld, his soul was separated into seven pieces with the six of them being absorbed by six individuals while the seventh piece went off world and landed on a different planet. Those six individuals then stopped the villainous Melaris before the six souls were absorbed back to its original body. He was briefly a hero-turned-villain for seven months.

"Let there be… battle royale." Kiddo announced.

As Kiddo clenched his fist, the battle world was created as well as breaking an infinite amount of barriers from different multiverses. He was glowing in three different colors - yellow, red, and purple - as he was using all of his power to break the barriers effortlessly. A few minutes later, a massive explosion occurred in every multiverse at once. It was the first time that the "Omniversal Bomb", an explosion that destroys several multiverse barriers at once, happened since the dawn of time. Once Kiddo realized what he had done, he was aware that he's in trouble with The Almighty Deity.

"Crap. I accidentally 'opened' too many barriers from different multiverses!" Kiddo exclaimed.

In the Realm of Angels, commonly known as Heaven, the angels and residents of those who passed felt a trembling presence. The Leader of Archangels, Michael, reported the mysterious incident to his Master who was already aware of the situation already as always.

"Why is Melaris doing this, Master?" Michael asked curiously. "Is his soul separated into different pieces again?"

"It isn't that, my faithful servant." The Almighty Deity answered while drinking tea. "It's because he's curious. He's still a child at heart after all, even though he has been to many gruesome wars."

"But breaking barriers from numerous multiverses could lead to the destruction of the omniverse, including Dimension RL!" Michael exclaimed, pointing out the situation. "We need to fix the situation fast!"

Before the Deity could reply, two powerful individuals entered His quarters. It was none other than his son, the Heavenly Prince, and the man who reached enlightenment, the Enlightened One.

"Patience, Michael." The Heavenly Prince, the son of Almighty Deity, ordered Michael. "The situation isn't as bad as you think it is."

"He's right." The Enlightened One agreed. "Melaris created a new realm where these… different odd people are together. It prevents the total annihilation of the 'omniverse' or whatever humans called it."

"Really? That's honestly a relief." Michael said, "But shouldn't we do something about the situation?"

"Eh, it's fine. Melaris is the one who caused it, he's the one going to fix it." The Enlightened One said. "After he fixed the mess, you're going to punish him, right, Old Man?"

"Don't disrespect me." The Almighty Deity ordered. "Anyway, the situation isn't that dangerous. For now at least."

"So… what are we going to do then? Just sit back?" Michael asked.

"I'm going back to Nirvana. I need to reassure my monks." The Enlightened One said before disappearing in a bright light.

"I'll be observing Melaris to ensure his actions won't lead to devastation." The Heavenly Prince said. "See you later, Father."

The Almighty Deity sighed, "I don't know why I'm not giving up on humans."

"Because of your own Son? Anyway, I'll join in with Him. I need to ensure that Melaris doesn't do any more omniversal ending threat." Michael said before flying away from his Master's quarters.

"You better not let those people break through to Dimension RL, Melaris. Because I wouldn't bother creating another universe and multiverse." The Almighty Deity said. "Revelations hasn't begun, yet a young deity is causing a different one."

In an abandoned warehouse, there were several thugs storing illegal weapons in their van. These weapons were highly advanced technology from outer space. They were owned by the Plumbers, an intergalactic law enforcement organization that makes use of high-tech gadgets and weapons to protect the universe from various threats and attacks.

"I can't believe that guy managed to smuggle these weapons to us. We can earn a lot of profit by selling these high-tech gadgets." The first thug said.

"Though we need to save some for ourselves. We could rob banks without having to worry about that alien hero." The second thug said.

"Anyway, we better hurry." The third thug said before picking up the last crate. "That hero might appear any time soon."

"Hey guys, looking for me?" A voice of a teenager asked the thugs.

The thugs were shaken when the familiar teenager appeared. It was the legendary alien transforming hero, Ben 10. He was wearing a black shirt that has a green stripe in the middle with a white 10 and green stripes on the sides of his shirt. He was also wearing brown cargo pants with pockets at the knees with a brown belt hidden under the shirt and green and white shoes. He was wearing the Omnitrix, the device that gave him the ability to transform into numerous aliens, in his left wrist.

"Now, I wonder how you guys got that stuff? Who is the smuggler?" Ben asked curiously while walking towards them casually.

The fourth thug pulled out a laser pistol from a crater fearfully, "Stay back, kid! Or I'll blow your head to smithereens!"

Ben raised his left eyebrow, "Seriously? I have guns pointing at my eyes all the time. That doesn't scare me. Besides, my watch wouldn't let me die anyway. It sorta protects me from any type of danger, even if it's a flying green scissor."

"Ugh! Do you ever stop talking!?" The third thug asked angrily.

"Probably not." Ben said while smirking before pressing the watch. "It's Hero Time!"

"Shoot him before he turns!" The first thug ordered the fourth thug.

It was too late as Ben's body was rapidly turning into a different alien species while a bright green light was shining at the thugs' faces. After the quick transformation, he was intimidating the criminals at the crystallized alien. He was a silicon-based life form made of super-hard, a mix of green and blue diamond-like material. His body was composed of durable pale green crystals. He sports four crystal shards on his back and has a sharp head. He is wearing all black clothing with one large green stripe down the middle up to his belt, and wears black pants. He has a green belt with white stripes on which he wears the Omnitrix symbol.

"Diamondhead." Diamondhead announced the alien before realizing the species he transformed into. "Huh. I was honestly going for Lodestar, but it wouldn't hurt to fight you guys with a classic alien."

As the three thugs were shooting at Diamondhead with ordinary guns, it was ineffective due to his tough diamond skin. The laser gun that was fired by the fourth thug made him flinch slightly, but it was also ineffective. Diamondhead struck both of his on the ground, as small diamond spikes were traveling towards the four thugs and immobilized their feet to prevent them from moving. The remaining thugs attempted to escape with the trucks while others on foot, but Diamondhead summoned a giant diamond spike to block the garage door.

"Rook. The remaining thugs are escaping on foot. Make sure none of them escapes." Diamondhead told his partner calmly while the watch was deactivating with a nostalgic beep.

"Don't worry, Ben. Nothing escapes me." Rook reassured his partner over the radio.

"Now then," Ben walked towards the immobilized thugs. "Who smuggled these weapons to you? Is there a spy within the Plumbers?"

"Why the heck should we tell you!?" The second thug asked angrily while trying to break the spike.

"Because you wouldn't like to eat my grandpa's disgusting food. Trust me, I use his awful recipes to make the criminals talk and it works effectively." Ben threatened the thugs, as they began to imagine the disgusting food in their minds, but they refused to talk. "No? Nothing? All right then, I'll call in the Plumbers to bring you in."

"Ben, I've captured the remaining thugs… hopefully." Rook said over the radio.

"Nice job. Call in the Plumbers to pick these guys up. We need to find the one who is smuggling these weapons from the headquarters." Ben ordered his partner.

"Understood, Ben 10. Rook out." Rook disconnected from the radio.

"Anyway, I got some stuff to do and a smoothie to drink. See ya' later, bad guys." Ben ran away from the still immobilized thugs while waving at them.

"Damn you, hero!" The first thug yelled in frustration, as his yells echoed throughout the warehouse.

Currently, Ben was sitting outside of Mr. Smoothy while drinking a smoothie, a common blended, sometimes sweetened beverage. He was drinking a grape-flavored smoothie, but it didn't taste the same when he used Alien X, a godly and powerful alien of all the aliens in the Omnitrix, to recreate the universe. He got over the different taste already, but he still regretted not being able to replicate the taste. To be fair, he was busy trying to bring back everyone.

"Smoothie after crime fighting is heaven." Ben said before sighing in relaxation. "I wonder what I should do for now. Maybe playing Sumo Slammers. It'll be a while before Grandpa Max and others give me a new mission anyway."

A second later, somebody was calling him on his watch. Ben sighed in frustration as he had another mission already after a few minutes of break, but he got over it as someone may be in trouble. He then answered the call.

"Hello, Grandpa Max?"

"Ben! We need you to be wary of your surroundings! Something is coming!" Grandpa Max warned his grandson.

"Huh? Why? What's going on? What's coming? And why do I hear something shaking in the headquarters?" Ben asked curiously, as he started to feel the rumble beneath the ground.

"I don't know, but there's an immense energy spike. I'm not sure who it is, but they're very powerful. They might be even more powerful than Alien X." Grandpa Max answered.

"More powerful? No offense, Grandpa Max, but Alien X is a Celestialsapien. These species of aliens are basically gods." Ben reminded his grandfather.

"But it doesn't seem to be the case with this one. Just be careful and wary, Ben." Grandpa Max said before disconnecting the call.

"Huh. What is going on? Is there someone that is really more powerful than Alien X?" Ben pondered on his thoughts while standing cautiously in case whoever this person attacked him out of nowhere.

A second later, there was a loud whooshing sound which made everyone across the universe, and the multiverse unbeknownst to them, cover their ears. Suddenly, something was broken on Earth's sky. There was something like a gigantic portal that leads to another side of the planet, one that Ben nor the others doesn't recognize.

"So this must be what Grandpa Max was warning me about." Ben said, as he was going to press his watch to transform into one of the aliens, but his whole body was dissipating slowly in green particles. "W-What is going on!?"

Ben realized that he was disappearing from the face of the Earth. After he disappeared, the green particles then traveled to the portal, along with countless others across the universe, multiverse, and alternate timelines. After all the particles went to the other side of the portal, it was repairing itself as shards were launching themselves back on the broken sky. The smoothie on the table was left unfinished.

After the intergalactic war ended, a young alien fled to a planet called "Thabeska" to hide from the Empire whom the intergalactic peacekeepers failed to stop them. They basically lost the war. The young alien lost a lot of people during the bloodshed war, including her own master. She refused to believe that her master turned to the dark side, which Maul told her during their fight in Mandalore, as he was the most heroic general in the galaxy. Nowadays, the young alien was spending her time working as a mechanic.

"Are you okay, Ashla?" A young girl asked her.

"Huh? No, I'm fine. There's just something on my mind."

The little girl called her "Ashla", but it wasn't her real name. It was a name that she gave herself in order to hide from the Empire, who are hunting down the remaining Jedi who survived Order 66. Her real name was Ahsoka Tano, a Force-sensitive Togruta and former Jedi Padawan of the legendary hero, Anakin Skywalker. The name "Asha" which was the name of a moon that orbited the sacred Jedi world of Tython, another term for the light side of the Force, and the name of a Jedi youngling from the Era of Clone Wars.

The little girl that was speaking to her was one of Fardi's daughters, members of the Fardi Clan. The Fardi Clan was a powerful and wealthy smuggling family that operated on the Outer Rim world Thabeska one year after the Galactic Empire had been established. She was welcomed to the family after displaying her mechanical abilities.

"Girls, it's dinner time." Fardi called out to his daughters and nieces. "Come join us too, Ashla."

"It's fine, sir. I'm not hungry yet." Ahsoka refused the offer, as she needed her mind off from the war.

"All right then, your food will be on the table." Fardi said before joining his family on the dinner table.

After fixing a few broken droids, she went up the sandy hill as the wind was blowing the dust in her direction. She wondered if Rex and the remaining Clone Troopers who were freed from the chip were doing alright in this difficult time. She regretted that she couldn't save the troopers that were still controlled by the chip, but she has to leave them due to the Empire and the rumored Inquisitors that are hunting down the surviving Jedi from the war.

As Ahsoka was about to leave the cliff, a loud whooshing sound occurred across the universe as everyone covered their ears from the sudden sound. A giant portal appeared in the night sky. Ahsoka used the Force to bring her dual lightsabers towards her, but she immediately hid them when Fardi and his family exited their house.

"Ashla? What's going on?" Fardi asked while his daughters and nieces were standing behind him.

"I don't know. I've never seen anything like this." Ahsoka answered. "Is this the work of the Empire? It couldn't be. They don't have the technology to create something whatever that is."

"There seems to be something on the other side." One of the nieces pointed at the other side of the portal.

"It must be on another planet though it could be anything. It looks like Tatooine, but I'm not entirely sure." Ahsoka said.

"We need to get inside. This could be dangerous… Ashla…" Fardi pointed at the current state of Ahsoka's body.

"What…?" Ahsoka was staring at her hands which were turning into white particles slowly. "What is going on?"

A second later, Ahsoka completely disappeared in front of the Fardi Clan much to their horror. Her blue particles traveled towards the portal, alongside with other colored particles across the universe. The portal then repaired itself just like it did in the previous multiverse. The citizens across the universe were in a state of panic as they've never seen anything like that before during the Clone Wars, except for the ones who had no clue about it.

After the Hundred Year War ended, a young boy was traveling from one ruined temple to another to restore his people's teachings as well as bring back the extinct tribe and its culture. He was collecting old documents, maintaining his people's cuisine, reconstructing old recipes based on his memories, and collecting badly damaged texts he found in the temples. This young boy was named "Aang". The current Avatar in his timeline.

Through the connection with the Avatar Spirit, Raava, an Avatar is the human embodiment of light and peace. As the only physical being capable of bending all four elements, it is the Avatar's duty to master the four bending arts and use that power to maintain balance and peace among the world's four nations, as well as between mankind and spirits.

Aang sighed, "It's frustrating the fruits and vegetables the Air Nomads grew are extinct. It seems like I'll have to use ingredients from other nations to make my people's recipe."

"Well, it can't be that bad. At least these recipes live on luckily." Katara reassured Aang.

"You're right." Aang agreed with her while smiling.

The one who Aang is conversing with is Katara. A master Waterbender and his girlfriend. They got in a relationship after the war which was something Aang didn't have in mind during their trip together, but he got feelings for her towards the end. Katara was the only one who was accompanying Aang, as the rest of the team were busy. Zuko was busy as the newly appointed Fire Lord, Toph was starting to teach Earthbenders about Metalbending, Sokka was governing the South Water Tribe, and Suki was teaching new students to become a Kyoshi Warrior in Kyoshi's Island.

"Oh yeah… I used to re…" Aang was interrupted when he felt a disturbance in the Spirit Realm.

"Aang? What's wrong?" Katara asked worriedly when her boyfriend got serious suddenly.

"I don't know. I'm feeling something is wrong with the Spirit Realm, but I don't know what it is." Aang answered.

In the future timeline, Korra was also feeling the same disturbance. Korra is the current Avatar in her timeline, preceding Aang. She was joined in with Mako, Bolin, and Asami when they realized that something was wrong with her.

"Babe, are you alright?" Asami asked worriedly.

"I… have no idea." Korra answered. "We need to go to the Spirit Realm right now."

"I'll join you." Asami said, as her girlfriend nodded in acceptance.

"Really? But you just got back." Bolin said sadly.

"I know, Bolin, but it is my duty to bring balance and peace to the world, including the Spirit Realm." Korra said.

"Just come back safely." Mako said.

"We will. Let's go, Asami." Korra said.

As both of them began to run, a loud whooshing sound occurred everywhere as everyone covered their ears. A portal then appeared in both timelines. Like the previous multiverse before them, Aang and Korra were disappearing in red and blue particles, alongside with others. They're particles traveled towards the portal before it repaired itself. The people from different timelines were panicking and wondering if there'll be a new chaos ensuing like Fire Lord Ozin and Amon.

In every existing multiverse, these portals opened out of nowhere and abducted several different fighters from each of them. The reason why the portals were closing one by one was because Kiddo attempted to fix the problem, but there were too many of them as the fighters were already transported to his realm. He couldn't return them back to their homeworld, as it would risk destroying their multiverse. They would've stayed in the battle world for quite some time.

In the U.A. Academy, the Class 1-A students were being visited by the Wild, Wild Pussycats until they disappeared without any explanation. The whole school felt empty and abandoned, as if it became a haunted mansion after a few seconds.

In San Fransokyo, the Big Hero 6 were patrolling the streets. They encountered a mugger and pursued after them. Hiro was about to use his microbots to capture the thug without any casualties until he and his team disappeared from existence.

In New York, Spider-Man was patrolling the streets with his brand new homemade suit which resembles his variants' superhero suits. It was a much better suit than his first homemade one. He was about to apprehend the second Shocker, who escaped from prison, until he disappeared after delivering a single punch.

In Grizzlies' East, Arthur Morgan was slowly dying from tuberculosis while watching the beautiful sunrise on the cliff, earning his redemption for his past sins. Before he died, he disappeared while smiling.

In the 1800's, the infamous unidentified serial killer from London killed his fourth victim of the night. He was known as the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. He was Jack the Killer. While Jack was placing the victim's intestines over her right shoulder, he disappeared before he could finish "decorating" his victim.

Inside the computer, a bunch of colorful stick figures were watching random videos on YouTube. The Second Coming and Green were hoping it doesn't come alive and attack them again. When they were about to watch a stick figure fight, they disappeared without a trace. Alan Becker was confused upon witnessing their sudden disappearance.

In Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees killed all of the teenagers that were camping in his territory recently. He doesn't kill them out of pleasure, but orders from his mother's head. The last teenager was trying to escape from Jason with a broken leg, but it was too late. Luckily, she survived when Jason disappeared in front of her unexpectedly.

In the Taisho Era of Japan, three demon slayers were on a mission to slay a powerful demon in a village. It took a while, but they slayed the demon successfully with the help of a demon. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko were currently eating a meal as a break until they disappeared without leaving money on the table.

In Hogwarts, Hermione Granger was studying in the Gryffindor Common Room alone as her two friends didn't bother finishing their seventh year. When she was about to sleep, she disappeared unbeknownst to her.

In Mirkwood, Legolas visited his father after not seeing him since the Battle of the Five Armies. He told him the news that the One Ring has been destroyed thanks to Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit. When Thranduil offered him dinner, his own son disappeared, along with other residents of Middle-Earth.

In an abandoned house, Clementine was hiding from a horde of walkers. She was about to leave when the horde dispersed, but they disappeared from existence, which alerted the walkers from the loud whooshing noise, but they found nobody to devour.

Throughout the omniverse, warriors were disappearing without any trace. The godly entities that were guarding each multiverse were wondering who interfered and broke the barriers between multiverses. These deities felt fear for what would happen to their own set of multiverses. The Watcher, Spectre, Monarch, The Beholder, The Great Forest Spirit, Arceus, and many other deities felt fear for the first time. They wanted to consult with The Almighty Deity, but they received a message to not worry from The Heavenly Prince, which made them worried even more.

"Somebody is manipulating the Battle World…" Kiddo said before looking behind him where a menacing figure stood.

Author's Notes:

I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I'm honestly excited for this fanfic, much more than The Mischievousness of the Shield Hero and Avengers: Assemble on Remnant. There will be limits on how many characters I could add though unlike ShadowKnight77, but I'll try my best to add the unfamiliar characters by reading their wiki and learning about them on YouTube or somewhere else. I will also be adding original characters like the characters you read in this chapter, though they won't appear in the main plot. The first chapter will be released in a few hours.

Characters:

Melaris Dragonborn: Melaris, or Kiddo, was a young mortal man who was reincarnated into a fantasy world, Xedia, after being brutally murdered by a demon in 2016. He became an adventurer, later a demigod after defeating Michael, Lucifer, and Overlord of Purgatory, and then an Enlightened Deity after defeating Chaos, an evil incarnate of The Almighty Deity.

Michael: Michael is the Leader of the Seven Archangels (technically 8 with Kiddo), Twin Brother of Lucifer, the Hero of Heaven, the Bearer of Sun, and the Loyal Servant of the Almighty Deity. He is responsible for turning Melaris into a demigod after appointing him as the eight archangel to combat against Lucifer due to a prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi.

The Enlightened One: Buddha is one of the Enlightened Deities after he became enlightened and reached Nirvana. He has high respect for The Almighty Deity, but he doesn't see him as his god, except himself, which almost led him to his execution in the afterlife until The Heavenly Prince intervened and pleaded. He then became best friends with the Son of God. His appearance is a mixture of the designs from Record of Ragnarok Buddha and RL Buddha.

The Heavenly Prince: Jesus is one of the Enlightened Deities after he sacrificed himself in the cross to save humanity's sins. He was technically counted as a demigod (due to the Son of God and one of the Holy Trinities) but he doesn't deemed himself as one unlike his prideful best friend.

The Almighty Deity: God is the Creator of the Universe, Multiverse, and Omniverse. Because He only resorted to overseeing one particular universe (not Dimension RL), he created numerous god-like entities of himself with different personalities and memories across the Omniverse. Titans (or Higher Deities), Gods (or Lower Deities), and Primordial Deities were originally supposed to be called "Guardians" to protect the world from Forces of Hell until they arrogantly called themselves "Gods". They abused their powers and ruined numerous peoples' lives to the point that God created Ragnarok to eliminate all gods, with few exceptions.

NOTE - Please remember that these are my versions of the historical and mythological figures, not the legit ones. Please don't be offended.
